  1. So here's how I'd see it working overall, going over a few of the little things that I think need to be addressed:
  2.
  3. 1. Effective immediately, individual PRs no longer contribute to a Party's momentum scores. They will still provide individual momentum points like we have been tracking all session, which still provide the opportunities for rewards. At the end of the session, they'll also be used for providing low-level monetary rewards which may be used for elections. The 3 weekly PRs per person limit will still apply, but NOT doing PRs will no longer indirectly hurt either Party.
  4.
  5. 1.1. There will be a bit more freedom to the format of individual PRs. Generally people have followed the "Title - Summary - Quote" format which works, but there can now be some more flexibility to them. PRs may take the form of speeches or conversations with certain groups, YouTube videos, mailers, or anything else- just keep in mind that we're going to still be applying the same grading format. PRs should still be informative, contain detail to get people interested (and be compelling to read), and where applicable, be persuasive. One Tweet, for instance, will probably not get you very much- and still count against your cap of 3 PRs.
  6.
  7. 1.2. Individuals will still be able to do townhalls and speaking tours as before. For both these events, which generally require more effort, points will be doubled at the end; so what might originally score a 3 would now be a 6, etc. Also, since they no longer help a Party raise money, there's no disincentive against trying to cross Party lines to ask questions.
  8.
  9. 1.3. Like before, every effort will be made to provide individual feedback to help improve PRs and messaging; however, focus will be placed on the Party press events.
  10.
  11. 2. There will be Party-specific press items (notice this is not using "PRs") that will be done to calculate a Party's momentum scores, as something is needed outside of PAC conferences. Each Party will be limited to 3 press pieces a week that will be used to determine a momentum score and that will be used to determine the "success" of each Party, financially speaking.
  12.
  13. 2.1. These press items must take the form of larger, more detailed items such as those that would normally be considered Cable News and Print Media. This would include op-eds, cable shows, interview shows, press conferences, townhalls, and/or speaking tours (NOTE that the double-score for speaking tours, etc, will not apply to Party Media). Every post that you want counted MUST begin with "PARTY PRESS," and posted in the normal PR forum.
  14.
  15. 2.2. Anyone may write for Party Media, and it will NOT count against your cap of 3 individual PRs per week. [[Do we want to limit how many Party Media pieces an individual can write?]]
  16.
  17. 3. It can't be ignored that, until now, PRs did count to a Party's momentum score. As such, the scores earned now will be used to determine a monetary award based on total points earned as a final "cash out." However, this will be prorated to take into account the relatively short period of time as well as that individual points will still have a meaningful impact on elections. This will be announced at a later date.
