- Twitter Timeline Preservation tutorial
- This tool was built for the purpose of capturing screen shots and transcripts of a user's tweets on Twitter. It also saves a snapshot of a user's followed and following accounts.
- To begin, type the username of the twitter account you want to log in the settings pane. Do not use "Emulate User" unless the account is protected.
- User emulation is used when you need the program to act as a user that has been approved to view a non public feed.
- Screen shots and transcripts will be saved to your selected target directory which by default is the application's startup path. Each screenshot has a series of numbers in the filename that matches a series of numbers in the filename of the transcript covering the tweets in the screenshot.
