PERSONALITY | probably the most pessimistic girl in the history of pessimistic girls. tends to be very introvert, she rather observe people than actually speaking to them. she often gets in trouble because she's caught spying people or over-hearing conversation that she shouldn't know the existence of. the reason she's almost always caught is because she tends to zone out while staring intensely and she doesn't notice when the subject of her attention is staring back at her. most people say that she has a resting face, she seems incredibly cold and she never smiles. she replies coldly to almost everyone and it's very difficult to become close with her ( most people gave up after a few days ). once you get to know her she's actually a good listener ( mainly because she enjoys knowing everything about everyone ) and she won't spill your secret to anyone. she often misses little brother, she misses seeing him everyday a lot.

BACKGROUND | she used to be a lot more extrovert a few years ago, when she didn't know about her power and wasn't put in any troubles yet. she loved watching tv with her little brother and taking him to the playground to play with his friend. she could have won the best sister award.
then she discovered her power and everything came crushing down on her. it seemed like the world had stopped. her parents started treating her like she was a mistake, "you shouldn't have been born" they would constantly tell her. her friends basically left her because they thought she was some kind of monster. chaeyeon was left alone, the only affection she still received was her brother's, until her parents decided that she couldn't spend time with him anymore. they didn't want her near them anymore.

FIRST IMPRESSION | at first he was kind of flustered because she kept staring at him, so he walked towards her to ask for an explanation but she was zoning out. watching her closely he realized how pretty she actually was until she unexpectedly turned her head at him. he jumped out of surprise and fell on the floor, she didn't help him get up and instead she just walked away. he decided in that moment that he was going to look through her cold appearance and know her like no one did. he liked her because she was mysterious. she, on the other end, thought he was annoying in the beginning because he kept following her everywhere and talking to her even if she didn't reply to him.

RELATIONSHIP STATUS | at the beginning they start as friends ( because she eventually talks to him and open up little by little ), then she starts developing stronger feelings for him. he likes her, she likes him. but they're too shy to admit it. ( chaeyeon is actually surprised because she had never been this shy in her whole life )
