VDay Cupcakes

Covet: Tae was sitting on the couch with her phone in hand, not really disappointed in Valentine's day, because she was still technically single, despite having multiple pools to dip her toes in, but at the same time she was a little bummed. Her feet were pulled up on the couch because damaged ankle, and her boot was sitting on the floor next to her. In her lap was a small box of chocolates, that only had like eight in it, that Colin had slipped her. It was sweet at the very least. Because that's what Colin does best.
Alexithymiaa: -Noah had been baking and decorating for a majority of his time since getting home from class today because inspiration struck while on campus seeing all the couples celebrating Valentines Day together and doing cute things for each other. He'd been talking to some friends who convinced him he should do something for Tae since chicks like that sort of thing. He'd gone about baking a few batches of red velvet and chocolate cupcakes with red dyed vanilla frosting that a simple google search had shown him how easy it was to make roses with on top of each cupcake. Knowing she was in the living room, he'd started setting up a bunch of candles he'd gotten from the dollar store they were literally like tiny glade candles and whatnot, in her bedroom on a bunch of the surfaces. Alexithymiaa: (WITH GLADE CANDLES)
Covet: Fairly distracted, She hadn't noticed Noah doing his planning things and looked down at her phone, picking it up to message Noah, because she knew he was here, but didn't know where, and it was just easier to text him. -Txt- I'm bored. Single awareness day sucks. What are you doing?-Tae-
Alexithymiaa: -He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, furrowing his brows because who the fuck could that be and he was busy dammit. From the floor behind the couch, he yanked his phone out of his pocket to see the message from her. -Text- Waiting to eat. Look down. -Noah
Covet: "Waiting to eat?" She said then looked down in her lap, confused raising an eyebrow, before she looked off the edge of the couch and saw the cupcake. "What hell...Who just leaves cupcakes on the floor." She said, setting the empty heart shape box on the couch, so that she could lean down and get the cupcake. When she did that she saw the trail that lead to her room. "God dammit.. Sure, bait the cripple with curious cupcakes." Tae said aloud as she went about putting her boot on.
Alexithymiaa: -He couldn't help, but snicker because he knew exactly what he was doing, but he was just waiting for her to stand up from the couch before he stepped in to help her. Waiting about a minute for her to get her boot on, he got his feet under him and stood up, crossing his arms over his chest. "Figured you might need a hand.-
Covet: Tae jumped a little as he popped up from behind the couch. "Jesus Noah..." She said startled, "How many times are you going to do that this week?" Tae asked, then looked at him. "I mean.. Yeah, I could use a hand...You look kind of dressed up...What are you up to?" She asked immediately suspicious because Noah doesn't do super sweet cutesy stuff like this.
Alexithymiaa: "As many times as I can get away with it?" He asked with a shrug, stepping closer and offering her his arm to lean on and assist in the walking. "Just follow the cupcakes. I'll worry about picking them up in a minute. I don't really want to hear about it if Adam's dog eats one."-
Covet: "Well at this rate, I'm going to end up with a broken bone." She said mumbling as she walked along with him, licking the frosting off the one she picked up. "I like this idea better than regular rose petals." She grinned. "Yeah, let's not hurt Lady. She's too sweet to be taken out by a cupcake, regardless of how delicious it is."
Alexithymiaa: "First of all, regular rose petals are expensive as fuck. Second, they don't do anything. At least you can eat these." He said as he slowly walked along with her toward her bedroom, nudging the door open with his foot so he could help her into the candlelit room. "Here, sit down and I'll get the cupcakes for you."-
Covet: Tae walked into the room, and wrinkled her nose, because there was probably a plethora of smells going on, but the room all lit up was kind of sweet. "Well I don't know what got into you, but I'm not about to complain." She said with a smile, and went to sit down on her bed so she could eat the cupcake enjoying the flavor. "These might be better than sex."
Alexithymiaa: "Does that mean you're not going to have sex with me? Because if you say yes, I'm throwing out the rest of the cupcakes." He said as he walked out of her room, leaning over to pick up the cupcakes, collecting them to make essentially a bouquet of cupcakes on her dresser.-
Covet: "Hmmm See, I could say yes, but then that wouldn't really let me have any fun either... sooo.. I'm going to say that's a definite no." She told him, watching him. "What got into you today? Are you feeling okay?" Tae asked, between bites of the cupcake.
Alexithymiaa: -He picked up one of the chocolate cupcakes from the dresser and bit into it, giving a casual shrug. "What, don't girls like all this romantic crap on a day built by Hallmark?" He asked bitterly because he does think it's stupid, but is not above working a little to get laid.-
Covet: "Yeah, but just because we like it doesn't mean you're obligated to do it... So that means, you wanted to do this?" She said looking over at him, with a smirk.
Alexithymiaa: -He paused, quickly trying to double back. "Well you're like crippled and in pain and miserable so i was just trying to cheer you up. I was going to make cupcakes anyway. It took literally no extra effort to make them valentines day themed."-
Covet: "So you specifically thought about me, and my situation and decided that I was the lucky recipient of your cupcakes today." She said smugly "You lined them up, You got candles. I must say, You've kind of out done yourself in the wooing department." Tae said looking at him, biting her lip. "I love it. Thank you."
Alexithymiaa: "They're dollar store candles." He interjected quickly, again trying to justify a lack of effort even though he clearly made an effort. "Some of my friends were talking about what they were doing. It's not like I was all oh I want to make her think any sort of weird shit or anything..." And then proceeded to shove the rest of the cupcake in his mouth, trying to shut himself up.-
Covet: "Frugal even. Mhhm, Sure you didn't." She said scooting coser to him. "And none of this had any ulterior motive what so ever?"
Alexithymiaa: "Purely to convince you we should have sex." He said as he swallowed the cupcake in his mouth, rubbing his hands over the legs of his pants and depositng little specks of chocolate on the fucking WHITE pants like a dumbass.-
Covet: Tae sighed and gave up, flopping back onto the bet, "Yes, fine whatever... we can have sex. Though.. I would have been game to do that without all of this, since it had no other purpose.
Covet: *"
Alexithymiaa: "What's with the face?" He asked roughly, turning on the bed a bit so he could look down at her. "You were all excited for a minute and now you're... what? Pissed off?"-
Covet: "I'm not pissed...." She said looking at him, the tone in her voice completely sweet as she looked at him. "I'm still excited, and I still want to have sex, But if that's all you really wanted, you didn't have to do this kind of a big grand gesture to get it. I appreciate that it was for my benefit, but all this effort could have been... put into other things." She said coyly, pulling her shirt over her head, then bent over to get her boot back off again. "Just be careful of my ankle."
Alexithymiaa: "Well..." He trailed off, catching a bit of disappointment. "Did it make you happy? I know I could have gotten it otherwise, but at least you enjoyed the the foreplay?" He asked, trying to make light of it without actually saying his intent. He turned fully to her and put his hands out to help her out of the boot, setting it on the floor next to the bed. "I'm not an idiot. I know."-
Covet: "It does make me happy. I really like all of this, and this better not be the foreplay." She said with a laugh, "I know you can do better than this, You've done it before." she told him, as she worked her pants off and fell back onto the bed in nothing more than her panties and bra. "Well.. c'mon now what are you waiting for?" She asked him,
Alexithymiaa: "Don't challenge me." He said with a grin as he leaned in on top of her, careful to avoid her ankle or moving her leg all that much so that there wouldn't be a lot of pressure or anything applied to the general ankle area. He closed in for the make out things, one hand trying to work the buttons open on his shirt.-
Covet: "Too late, Challenge accepted." She said with a grin, wrapping up on him as best she could, getting her V-Day freak on.
