  4. Q: I'm getting caught in traps. Is there a way for me to avoid them?
  5. A: You'll run into many traps in which the floor activates a contraption. If you look carefully at the floors, you'll see the differences between floor and trap.
  6. However, there are also cases in which you can't tell the difference. In those cases, press the Triangle button to investigate the floor in front of you. If there happens to be /something/, you'll get a different response than usual.
  7.
  8. Q: The door won't open...
  9. A: There are doors with keyholes and there are doors without them. If it has a keyhole, it has to be opened by either an ordinary key or a particular key.
  10. If you don't have a key on you, it might be wise to backtrack and confirm that there's nothing you might have overlooked.
  11. Doors without a keyhole can be opened through a gimmick, such as a switch in the wall or on the floor. These gimmicks are often similar within the same area, so you'll just have to search for them.
  12. If you still can't open the door, open the Map from the Utility menu and conveniently mark it with your colour of choice.

  16. Q: The boss is too strong and I can't win...
  17. A: If you're only suffering damage, it's essential to withdraw instead of trying to do the impossible. Even once you've entered the battle against the boss, you're able to escape through the way you came in.
  18. As you manage to do damage to the boss without losing terrain, you definitely should be able to bring it down.
  19. If you're under the impression that you simply lack power, have some new weaponry forged or make use of befriended monsters.
  20.
  21. Q: I can't get the map up to 100% completion rate (tears).
  22. If I check the map, I'm unable to spot any places I haven't been to yet...
  23. A: Have you opened all doors? Even though it might look like you've been everywhere, it's possible there is an unopened door that prevents you from reaching 100%.
  24. Still, there are also places you can't enter without using a "certain magic". What this magic might be is up to you to find out.

  28. Q: Even if I manage to get the 100% completion rate, does it get me something good?
  29. A: You've seen those broken gravestones throughout the dungeon, right? The stones might look broken at first glance, yet there's some invisible power that protects them...
  30.
  31. Q: I saved my game in some weird place. If I load my save file, monsters quickly kill me and it's game over. Did something went wrong and is there a way for me to repair this?
  32. A: In the game over screen, you can select the option 'Restart area from entrance' [or whatever Tom is going to translate it to]. If you select this option, you'll be returned to the point in time where you first entered the area and you can safely resume your journey.
  33.
  34. Q: I regularly get the game over screen and having to do the same over and over again is starting to get tedious...
  35. A: To resume your adventure from the point where you hit game over, a retry point might be useful. Keep in mind to save regularly and use a Retry Bread whenever you take a break from the game.

  39. Q: My item bag gets filled up too quickly...
  40. A: There are items called [whatever Tom's going to name it] spread throughout the dungeon. Certainly look for them as valuable items quickly fill up your item space.
  41. If you're still running out of space, you can sell the items you have no use for in shops or when there's no shop in the vicinity, you can always just chuck the items away.
  42.
  43. Q: Speaking of chucking away, I actually lost my key in the process. What should I do?
  44. A: You can't take a special key into another dungeon. For example, if you move from the RUINS to the TOWER area and hold a special key, it will be removed automatically from your items and put near the exit of the RUINS. If you happen to have thrown a special key away and forgot where you put it, please look near the exit (or entrance) of each dungeon.
