Dream 9/19/2020

Sometimes I wonder what a futuristic ski resort would look like. Well I’ve had this dream about 3 times now and this time it had a couple twists. Basically this resort had only a single ski track + lift but it took like 20+ minutes for the average skier to complete and had like 15 different branching paths. This was advertised as like a “skiing experience” that you couldn’t find anywhere else so its pretty crowded. With me today this time was Jay and Rocks, I have no clue if they can actually ski irl but tbh they were probably better than me in this dream. ANYWAY this ski track consisted of 4 main parts. The first one is a very narrow area where skiers advance single file at a fairly moderate pace, you end up at this “ferries wheel” like object that is always turning. Instead of having actual carts, it only has flat platforms and has mkw style boostpads that shoot you forward into the second. The second area is a very open area that has those mkw boostpads all over the place. Trying to do IL’s of this area is pretty fun. The third area branches into like 7 different paths, each one has this weird ass wipeout (tv show) style obstacle course in which falling off is pretty slow. It’s apparently not possible to die here, you can only get seriously injured. The final area has a bunch of trees, its very easy to get lost here but apparently there’s a whole bunch of secrets you can find, I’ve never looked for any though.

The first part of the course was really busy, I was in the front of my group and in front of me was some dude and his kids. Unfortunately I was going a little faster than I should have and one of the mans kids fell down right before the ferries wheel. The man went back to pick him up but fell on the ferries wheel and then I fell on the same platform. As a result, I “hydroplaned” over the man and was sent flying. I ended up somehow skipping the second part of the course and was immediately on the third part somehow not dead from flying that far. I was also separated from Jay and Rocks. Usually I take the second to right path but I landed straight right so I had no clue what was going on here. I make it through the obstacle course after a very long time. At the bottom of the track I find Jay and Rocks giving me the look glitchless runners give towards runners that use glitches but are still slower than them.

To get back to the top of the track you need to take a gondola, only the carts the gondola was carrying was the size of a whole ass cabin. It had no roof, but this sick ass hot tub inside. So me and the bois were boolin while I was telling them about what had happened to me. We ended up coming up with a plan where we would cooperatively do this glitch and beat Cabbages WR speedrun of this track. After getting off the gondola, we were unable to reproduce the glitch and gave up.

We go home to our cabin where we find a Birdon who has probably drank too much Monster Energy (Demo) bullying Adeline (MKCocoon) about not skiing with the rest of the Degens because he had too much schoolwork (Yes I have seen MK’s face, yes I still see him as Adeline in my dreams). The end
