- MELTY BLOOD:
- New chars not in Tsukihime : Sion, Wallachia, "Nanaya" Shiki, Miyako, Mech Hisui
- Route 1 (almost good end)
- This game has a bunch of routes that are unlocked by either winning or losing battles. Everything takes place one year later. Apparently some vampire activity starts up again. Sion appears as the protagonist alongside of Shiki. Sion meets Shiki, they first fight then Sion tells Shiki she's looking for a cure for vampirism, and she needs Arcueid to figure it out. Sion puts "Etherlite" on Shiki without him knowing, which quietly enters his nervous system so she can read him (thoughts, location), though he seems to not care when she gives off signs of it. Shiki agrees to help them meet reluctantly. Sion is an alchemist Magi, and the organization is after her for her deserting while pursuing her own goals. Ciel shows up, fights the team and loses, then backs off. Arcueid shows up, laughs at Sion and hints that she (Arcueid) knows that Sion is a vampire. Sion and Arcuied fight, Sion "wins" but Arcueid held back. Then Arcuied and Shiki casually talk about the vampire activity. She leaves, then Sion tells Shiki that "Tatari" is the related to one of the Dead Apostles (one of 27 vampires, including Roa and Nrvnqsr Chaos). Tatari is a curse that takes nightmares and bad rumors and causes them to be true. Sion wants Shiki to make sure Arcueid does not become overwhelmed by Tatari. Shiki has a vision of Chaos appearing, and then he does (as Tatari) and they fight. Sion says she's going to leave town because Arcueid can't help her, then gets overwhelmed by the idea that she'll leave Shiki (they're anime flirting). She removes his Etherlite, changes her position to stay and defeat Tatari alone, Shiki shows up to support her. While riding an elevator to find Tatari, Sion reveals that Tatari is "Night of Wallachia", one of the 27 Dead Apostles, who are "second generation vampires" (second only to True Ancestors, for which only Arcueid remains) with abnormal characteristics. His human name was "Zepia Eltnam Oberon", and destroyed Sion's entire village besides her, where she escaped alive. Wallachia apparently yearned for some secret power, failed, dispersed his body through some universal matrix over 1000 years and reforms frequently as Tatari. Wallachia's name comes from Vlad Tepes (Dracula)'s Wallachia region of Romania. Vlad was apparently suspected of being a vampire, then Tatari assumed Vlad's role via rumors. "The Night of Wallachia" refers to one night where Tatari assumed vampiric form and drained the blood out of the entire region. On the rooftop of this building (no idea), Tatari appears, assumes Arcueid's form, scolds Sion for her friend Reeze Baife (no idea). Arcueid Red fights Shiki, loses, then Tatari fades away. Wallachia himself never shows up here (or any of them) until the final true end route
- Route 2
- Shiki and Sion lose to Ciel, but continue on. This yields a path where they fight Nero twice, then at the top of the tower where Tatari spawns, Sion defeats Red Arcueid and then absorbs the entirety of Tatari and becomes vampire Sion. Shiki fights her for hours until they're both exhausted, it becomes daytime and she goes temporarily back to normal, then leaves town
- Route 3
- Explains how Tatari forms in more detail. Four conditions. Rumor needs to exist, Isolated areas (not cities), witnesses must be present of the rumors, and finally where the rumors later happen, Tatari must predict and be there in advance.
- Route 4
- Shiki and Sion go to the mansion, they fight Maids, and Miyako is introduced and is spying from outside the mansion with the intent of saving onii-chan. Then Kohaku traps Shiki (after scolding him for beating up Hisui) and throws Shiki/Sion into an underground lair (Kohaku's magical prison). Apparently Kohaku also trapped Akiha down here for some reason. They fight some image of Ciel, then escape. Tatari is about to take form, Akiha goes Vermillion, Shiki fights Kohaku outside who apparently is taken over by Tatari. Kohaku admits defeat but then she says come inside then BAM Mech Hisui shows up, Shiki fights, then while they're distracted, Kohaku plunges a needle into AKiha's neck, causing her to become Giant Akiha. The needle contained "womrwood, brandy, scallops, shrimp, and leftover chemical substances". Shiki defeats her, then Miyako shows up in the mansion (who was previously spying outside hoping to "save" Shiki). Miyako gets flustered because she likes Kohaku but also wants to rescue Shiki from the mansion so she says some incomprehensible things then fights Shiki.
- Route 5
- After losing to Ciel and Arcueid in the beginning, Tatari takes the form of Nanaya Shiki as the threat of a rumor of a killer (Shiki) in town. Nanaya is Shiki's real family name before becoming an adoptive Tohno. Shiki and Shiki fight, Shiki wins (duh). Then Tatari (still as Nanaya) tells Shiki that "Shiki" (humans) was the one who caused Tatari. Nrvnqsr shows up, Shiki defeats him, then GG (??)
- Route 6
- Shiki fights Nanaya earlier, cuts Tatari's death lines, then Shiki is relieved Tatari did not take the form of Akiha, but then Tatari somehow survives and fights Shiki as Akiha Vermillion. He wins, Tatari taunts Shiki and Sion, then Sion whips out some alchemy magus academy weapon. Sion defeats Tatari, saying "the next time you take form, I'll be ready to fight you properly". Then Shiki apparently gets a job as a flower merchant with Kohaku's help and Hisui covering up the facts, to Akiha's anger. Sion tricks Akiha into leaving, Shiki comes out of hiding in the mansion (not a flower merchant), Shiki runs to get food before Akiha comes home, and Sion is now a paying guest at the mansion. Sion asks Shiki to ask Arcueid more about a cure to vampirism. GG
- TRUE END
- Chaos shows up in the park early (as Tatari), Shiki wins, Sion gets smitten of Shiki for some reason, they have a nice smitten moment, interrupted by a red blood flash and Sion having "intense nausea". Sion leaves, has a flashback about how she became a vampire when Tatari invaded her village, and how she refuses to drink blood. In this path, Sion did not connect her Etherlite so she can't follow Shiki around and know what he's thinking. They find Tatari at the top of the large building, and Tatari formally greets Sion as his descendant vampire (an Eltnam). Tatari scolds Sion for using Etherlite to read other peoples minds so much that she never developed a stance of her own as a human. Tatari starts to make Sion believe they're the same type of vampire, Shiki calls out consistently to her, Shiki fights VSion (first appearance), Shiki keeps fighting her while she regains sanity. She turns to normal, Tatari turns into Red Arcueid and fights Shiki, then the REAL Arcueid shows up and changes the field red (This is the red sky rooftop stage) and makes Tatari finally turn into Wallachia (first appearance). Apparently the Red Moon causes Tatari/Wallachia's power to disappear. And Arcueid, according to Sion, has "Marble Phantasm" power to turn the moon red, a moon from a thousand years in the future. Wallachia's former human name was Zepia Eltnam Oberon. Wallachia gets hostile and attacks, Shiki expects Arcueid in all her power to fight but she's like "no, you do it" and Shiki fights Wallachia (finally). Wallachia loses, vomits out blood from hundreds of years of succ, then while Wallachia goes insane, Sion asks why he became a vampire, and he calmly responds. He says he learned the truths of the world (much like how Sion could) and said destruction was the only thing in his future, so he submitted. And he says Sion will eventually do the same. He fades away, saying he "wanted an incalculable future" (sure is similar to a certain anime VN series I know). Sion says goodbye to Shiki, and Shiki goes to leave with Arcueid who complains to him about meaningless things, and then Sion leaves. FIN
