- Arcanist
- [Class] [+Special Attack]
- Prerequisites: Focus 3
- Effect: Choose a Type. You may wield Arcane Weapons of that Type. If you chose Normal-Type, then your Arcane Weapon Moves do +1 DB additional damage and have +1 Effect Range.
- Metamagic
- [+Special Attack] [Ranked 2]
- Rank 1 Prerequisites: Arcanist
- Rank 2 Prerequisites: Arcanist, Level 5
- Static
- Effect: Choose one of Energy Finesse, Warp Energy, Directed Barrier, or Power Overdrive. You gain that talent. All talents are Swift Actions, cost 1 AP, and are triggered when you use a Special Move.
- Energy Finesse
- Condition: The triggering Move is an Arcane Weapon Move and has an Effect Range
- Effect: In addition to its existing Effect Range, the Effect triggers on all natural Even-Numbered Rolls.
- Warp Energy
- Condition: The triggering Move is a Cone, Line, Burst, or Blast
- Effect: Instead of its usual range, you may use the Move as if it had a range of Burst 1, Cone 2, Close Blast 2, Line 4, or 2-Target with a range of 4.
- Directed Barrier
- Effect: You gain Damage Reduction equal to your Tick Value against the targets of the triggering Move for one full round.
- Power Overdrive
- Effect: If the triggering attack hits, you lose a Tick of Hit Points, and the triggering attack deals bonus damage equal to your Tick Value plus your Focus Rank. This loss of Hit Points cannot be prevented in any way.
- Elemental Manifestation

- Prerequisites: Arcanist
- Static
- Effect: You gain the Ability matching the Type you chose through Arcanist.
- Fire: Fox Fire
- Flying: Celebrate
- Grass: Effect Spore
- Arcane Talents
- [+Special Attack]
- Prerequisites: Arcanist, Level 5
- Static
- Effect: Gain one of the talents below.
- Draining Magic
- Scene - Swift Action
- Trigger: You hit with a single target Special Move
- Effect: The triggering Move gains the Drain Keyword.
- Magic Artillery
- Scene x2 - Swift Action
- Trigger: You use a ranged Special Move
- Effect: Increase the range of the triggering Move by +5. The Move does +X additional damage where X is equal to the distance in meters the attack traveled.
- Mage Knight
- Scene x2 - Swift Action
- Trigger: You use a melee Special Move
- Effect: You may roll Accuracy twice and choose which result to use. If both results would hit, and you choose the lower result, you may immediately perform a Push, Disarm, or Trip Manuever against a target of the triggering Move. You may use Focus in place of any Skill for this maneuver.
- Trickster
- Scene x2 - Swift Action
- Trigger: You hit with a Special Move with an Effect Range
- Effect: The triggering Move deals damage as if resisted one step further. You automatically activate the Effect Range for the triggering Move.
- Elemental Mastery
- [+Special Attack]
- Prerequisites: Arcanist, Level 10
- Static
- Effect: Choose a Master-Tier Arcane Weapon Move. You learn that Move and may perform it even without wielding a weapon. If you are using an Arcane Weapon of the appropriate elemental attunement, you can use that Move through your Weapon. The damage type of the chosen Move matches the Type you chose through Arcanist.
