  1. This mod seems to have next to no impact on how the vanilla ai actually performs.
  2. Adding up total power of the top 5 empires of a 400 star 13 empires save ran for 100 years on Commodore difficulty with the mod:
  3. game 1: 14503
  4. game 2: 15041
  5. game 3: 13991
  6. and without any mods:
  7. game 1: 15206
  8. game 2: 13790
  9. game 3: 14247
  10.
  11. A vanilla game has the highest but another also has the lowest, it seems within margin for error. This mod does not impact the vanilla AI by not allowing them to switch its pop's jobs by changing priority; it doesn't matter. Some people concerned about problems like economic death spiral due to starvation and other deficits might be interested to know that across the modded and vanilla saves, the number of "pathetic" sub-1000 power empires was equal: 10 in total across all saves, split 5 to 5 between the modded and modless sets.
  12.
  13. And test of the speed on one of the runs that reached 2300 with this mod came out to 1 hour and 19 minutes to progress 50 years on Fastest. Without the mod, the same save took 1 hour and 26 minutes, not 30% faster but still noticeable, I guess?
  14.
  15. zoomed into the corner of the same unclaimed system tucked behind a FE in both runs.
  16.
  17. disclaimer: on lower diffs those economic spirals might still happen, this was done on Commodore where AI rarely starves.
  18.
  19. Saves are here if you want to look or test something yourself:
  20. https://files.catbox.moe/bwouft.zip (doesn't have the 2 50-year realtime runs)
