  1. Genie Juju by JollyJolly0, Goodly, and Wasabi Avenger
  2.
  3. Goal of the game:
  4. Play two jokers from your hand. Or play four of the same number from your hand.
  5.
  6. Getting started:
  7. Shuffle the deck and place it face down. Each player takes 4 cards. You do not show other players your cards.
  8. Each player rolls a D6 to determine who goes first. The turns flow moving clockwise.
  9. If the deck runs out of cards, the discard pile is shuffled and becomes the deck.
  10.
  11. On your turn:
  12.
  13. You may draw 1 card
  14. You may play any amount or type of cards from your hand into the discard pile, which is face up and placed beside the deck.
  15. You may end your turn whenever you wish.
  16.
  17. You may play a face card to create a new rule for the game. When you play a face card in this manner, you place it in front of you instead of the discard pile.
  18. If there is already a face card of the same suit in play, that face card is placed in the discard pile and the rule it created no longer applies.
  19. This means there can only be 4 different rules in play at once.
  20. When you create a rule your turn ends immediately.
  21.
  22. Rules can do almost anything, INCLUDING changing the rules stated above.
  23. However, there are exceptions. Rules CANNOT do the following:
  24. • create a situation where the game is permanently unwinnable.
  25. • change turn order
  26. • change the fact that making a new rule ends your turn
  27. • allow someone to win outside of their own turn
  28. • target specific players e.g "if i play a 3 i win". However, a rule that WOULD be allowed is "any player who plays a 3 wins"
  29. • invoke things outside of the game e.g "players with curly hair win on their turn"
  30. • pertain to a unique card e.g "10 of hearts". However, rules may pertain to classes of cards such as "hearts" or "10" or "jokers" or "face cards"
  31.
  32.
  33. Here are some wacky examples of rules that are allowed to get the creative juices flowing.
  34. Rules absolutely MAY do the following:
  35. • allow other cards or combinations of cards to count as rule cards
  36. • delete rules
  37. • add, remove or alter a wincondition
  38. • allow stealing of cards from other players
  39. • add effects based on what type of card you play into the discard pile
  40. • invoke effects upon card loss, upon searching the deck for cards, or on shuffling the deck
  41. • make everyone play with their hands face up
  42. • draw from discard pile
  43. • draw a lot of cards
  44. • make everyone discard their hands
  45. • make anyone who has over 10 cards discard their hand
  46. • use the dice in any way
  47. and so on!
