The enforcer droids fired as soon as they were within range. The red laserfire was so much more powerful than standard blaster bolts. Every time that Enya deflected one, she felt the impact of the blow deep down into her elbow and shoulders. It was worse because she was tired after so many hours of battle. She had to push harder, concentrate more, to keep her strength from withering. The deflected laser shots hit some of the enforcer droids, but they were well protected with strong armor. Enya inhaled deeply, gathering her strength and attuning her body with the Force all around her. For her next step, she took a high, bounding leap, deflecting shots as she tumbled in the air, landing in front of the closest droid. The droid before her turned to fire. Enya swung her lightsaber down, hitting the droid in the torso. It staggered back, smoke rising from the blow that glowed red from melted metal. Still it fired on Enya. She deflected the shot, striking the droid again, and again. Finally, it fell.
