Making a Mess [Anon x Glimmer]

> “Alright, it says here that we still need flour, sugar and baking powder—“Starlight lists off ingredients as you dig through the kitchen cupboards to find them.
“Flour and sugar, check!” You yell back as you grab them from one of the cabinets over by the side.
> “What about the baking powder?” She says as she tilts her head up and looks over towards you.
> Setting the dry ingredients down onto the table, you turn to face her.
“Yup,” You say as you smile at the mare, “Got it right here”.
> Starlight smiles back, her cheeks reddening as she does.
> “Good” Nods the pink pony as she walks over to the bag of flour and picks it up with her magic
> Starlight clumsily tilts the bag over the bowl causing the flour to spill everywhere.
> All over the bowl.
> The counter.
> The table.
> Her mane.
> You watch as Starlight Glimmer stands there and blinks at her mess.
> Seeing her daze and covered in flour you can’t help but laugh.
> Patches of white dot her coat and mane making her look like a pink cow-pony.
> Her snout looks like it was dipped in milk, giving her a cute, calico like patterning.
“It suits you” You says in between through your laughter.
> Starlight blows away some of the flour hanging off her fringe as she pouts, not at all pleased with your teasing.
> Looking down at the bowl of flour, a mischievous smirk begins to make its way across her face.
> Grinning, her horn glows a soft purple.
> Her magic goes to work, wrapping itself around a blob of flour.
> You are too busy relishing in the sight of the flour covered Starlight to take notice.
> That is until you are hit in the face with a puff of white.
> You stop laughing.
> You are stunned.
> An impish, bright laughter fills the room.
> As you regain your bearings, you are met with a cheeky and smug looking Starlight Glimmer smirking at you.
> “It looks better on YOU~” She sings.
> Putting two and two together, you smile.
> A devilish, scheming smile.
> Glimmer takes note of this; her lips stretch into a wide grin as a hint of challenge flashes through her eyes.
> “I dare you~” She growls playfully.
> OH?~
> Oh, it’s on!
> You grab the bag of spilt flour off of the table and jump to the side.
> Glimmer reacts fast and levitates the bowl of flour towards herself, making sure to leap backwards as she does.
> Having acted first, you plunge your hand into the bag of flour and bring out a tight fistful of the white powder.
> Bringing back your arm, you throw the contents of your hand towards the pink and white unicorn.
> The flour immediately explodes into a cloud of white as it rushes towards Starlight.
> The powdery cloud hits Glimmer across the face, causing her pink coat to become white as paper.
> She giggles as she is hit, not minding one bit the mess her face was in.
> Starlight yells out as her own ball of flour levitates out of the ball and launches itself towards you.
> The ball sails through the air swiftly and gracefully before hitting you square on the forehead, bursting into a haze of flour upon impact.
> You are blinded, the cloud of white obscuring your vision.
> Starlights laughs louder.
> You cough out some of the flour and then join her in her bout of laughter.
> She tosses another hoofful of flour at you; forgoing magic in order to have fun getting dirty.
> You dodge to the side and toss a handful towards her.
> The two of you continue on with your back and forth until there is no more flour left to be thrown.
> You both stop once you realize that you are out of ammunition.
> Glimmer looks at you.
> You look at Glimmer.
> Both of you are covered in flour.
> As is the rest of the kitchen.
> No single spot left untouched by the color white.
> Glimmer grins at you.
> Her wet tongue runs over her lips, removing the white stuck upon them, revealing her tender pink lips to the world.
> You heart thumps in your chest at the sight.
> She watches your reaction and smiles wider.
> Happy, you look her dead in the eye and begin to lick your own lips as well.
> Starlight bursts out laughing, finding your actions to be the pinnacle of silly.
> She laughs so hard that she curls up and falls to the floor.
> You begin to laugh as well, following your mares actions and dropping to the floor alongside her.
> The two of you lay next to each other, giggling and gasping for air.
> You scoop Glimmer into your arms as the two of you begin to slowly calm down.
> You lay her on top of your chest, feeling the steady decrease of her giddy heartbeat through your shirt.
> It calms you down.
> You tilt your head up and look at the tired, happy pony.
> She stares back at you, eyes meeting yours.
> As you try and go in for a kiss, you are interrupted by the sound of a slamming door.
> “What in tarnation happened here!?”
> Applejack yells out into what was once a kitchen.
> The brown Earth pony looks all over the warzone-like mess before settling her eyes upon the two of you.
> Both you and Glimmer shrink back at as her glare hits you.
> “Oooh!~ Did Nonny and Glimmy get into a food fight?” Pinkie Pie calls out as she pokes her head through the door, gasping as she is met with the sight of pure white.
> Applejack sighs and shakes her head, softly smiling at you and Glimmer.
> “Ah guess this means there aren’t gonna be any tea cakes for this afternoon’s tea party.” Says AJ as she smirks at the two of you.
> You and Glimmer just nod and chuckle in embarrassment.
> The ‘Stetson hat wearing’ ponies eyes roam the room.
> She sighs once more before looking down at the both of you, a knowing, motherly smile is drawn upon her face.
> “You two are like youngins when ya’ll are left together” She laughs as she walks over to the corner of the room and picks up a broom.
> “More like a tornado!” Giggles Pinks as she hops over towards Applejack and the mop sitting by the corner.
> Both AJ and Pinkie get to work cleaning up the mess that you and Starlight made
> The two of you decide that now would be the best time to break the snuggle and get up.
> Standing up, you pull Glimmer over to your side and whisper into her ear.
“We should do this again sometime” You say as you nuzzle into her neck.
> Starlight giggles endearingly.
> She then turns and looks up at you.
> Her eyes shimmering.
> She nods happily; a beaming smile stretches itself across her face.
> “Definitely.”

> After the four of you finish cleaning up the kitchen you began round two of baking, but this time under the watchful eyes of both Pinkie and Applejack.
> Starlight was happy and smiling the entire time.
