Spongebob Gaiden: Kyabetsu


People called Maxwell Johnston crazy. Deluded. Insane. But nothing would stop him from making his dream of a real-life kraken come true.  Not just any kraken either.
A kung fu kraken.
Hence, why he was fired.
Not even that would stop him though. As he purged the employees that wronged him, he gained a sick smile on his face.
Now truly no one would stop him.
In the empty lab, he started.  He had recently received some crab DNA from one Mr. Eugene H. Krabs, who was paid handsomely for his cooperation. He also scooped up some octopi from many different oceans to create the squid portion.
Maybe perhaps too many octopi.
When the creature came out, it appeared to be wholly an octopi. A normal octopi. Well, a normal octopi for Bikini Bottom anyway.  The creatures there had sapience and sentience that most other sea life could only dream of having.
Deeming his experiment a failure, he released the creature he named Squidward (because Octward sounded awful) into the Bikini Bottom ecosystem.
What he didn’t know was that Squidward wasn’t normal and that he released more than an Octopus onto the sea paradise.
No one is sure what Kyabetsu is exactly. Most speculate that it (or he as he likes to call himself) is a demon that occupies the headspace of the mediocre clarinet player. Others vehemently insist that this is just a mental issue and nothing more. And some speculate that Kyabetsu is in fact a Saiyan.
Well, he’s a demonic Saiyan. Two outta three ain’t bad.
A Saiyan that surpasses even the most trained Saiyans. He’s like Super Saiyan God Rose Silver Rainbow 1000.
Have fun with that.
In Squidward’s mind, this demon lives. Apparently our cabbage boy stowed his way into one of the octopi used in the experiment. But that’s just a theory.
A Sponge Theory.
Squidward yawned. He had the most wonderful dream that he met a girl and serenaded her with his clarinet and then had dark weird sex with her.
“Morning, gorgeous.”
Squidward groaned. There’s that Kyabetsu. A chatterbox and always laced with sarcasm.
“So, how was your wet dream last night, buddy?” Kyabetsu snickered.
“Uh, it was fine.” Squidward muttered, trying to get off the topic quickly.
“You know, I can do that.”
“Do what?” Squidward questioned, getting ready for the daily grind at the Krusty Krab.
“Well, make your dreams a reality of course.” the mind demon said, as Squidward started to feel like someone was leaning on his brainstem.
“Don’t do that!” Squidward yelled, rubbing his head.
“Ah, yes, I forgot you don’t like that. My bad, broseph.”
Squidward felt the pressure on his brainstem release.
“But…what were you saying about dreams and reality?” Squidward slurred a bit, because pressure on your brainstem could probably do that to you.
“I was saying I could make your arousing dreams a reality.” Squidward heard a finger snap in his head. “Just like that.”
“You’d really do that?” Squidward asked. “No catch?”
“No catch.”
“Well, in that case, make these dreams a reality, buddy!” Squidward hooted.
And that’s when the world shifted.
“Push harder, Spongebob!” the blue octopus groaned in pleasure, “I NEED TO FEEL IT!”
“Okay, Squidward!” the sponge chirped happily, rhythmically moving his Krusty Dog in and out of Squidward’s juicy crevice.
“Awwww yeah.” Squidward moaned, but frowned when the fun suddenly stopped.
“I’ll be right back, Squiddy.” Spongebob said, putting on his square pants, “I’ve got some more ideas.”
As the sponge left him alone, Squidward felt…off. It was weird. He felt different. He felt…free.
Kyabetsu was gone. Gone from his body. Gone from his mind.
But where did he go?
