  1. # Salmon recipe:
  2. ## Ingredients
  3. 12 oz for two people: 0.75 pounds. The Norway atlantic salmon fillet at Whole Foods that’s $9.99 a pound

  5. ## Steps
  6. - Rinse salmon and pat all sides with paper towel, cut fillets in half
  7. - Put salt and pepper on salmon
  8. - Sit out for 30 minutes
  9. - At 15 minutes, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
  10. - At 25 mins, start heating skillet (high heat, about a 6)
  11. - When skillet is smoking, pour two tablespoons butter in
  12. - put fillets on right after butter is melted
  13. - Keep on stove for 3 minutes, spooning butter on top of salmon. then put in oven
  14. - Keep in oven for 8-10 minutes, 8 works well. If salmon is flakey we’re good
  15. - Take out and you’re done!
  16. - Pour butter and fat down drain with soap and hot water
  17. - When skillet is cooler, pour salt on
  18. - Immediately after, wet green sponge and scrub clean. Then pat dry with paper towel, put back in oven for storage
