It was an especially joyous day for their parents joined their children in the celebrations. Parents are also involved in various funny games. Graduation Day is the biggest and most important day in the school. They have been studying with playing hard to earn this day for three years. They&rsquo;ve passed all their tests and are fully prepared, with a big head-start, for First Grade in schools. On 5th march 2012 at Aastha&nbsp; foundation old age home, They enjoyed with old aged people by hymn singing, sanitizing the place; trimmed finger-nails; managed the belongings and beddings of those ole people who have lost their ray of hope. Side by side, they prepared food for all of 45 individuals. A member of the Aastha foundation said that they are not well-funded and so cannot afford large number of people. They are happy on being conscious for ole people by students of Xavier International College.<br /> Another event of the same group is organized at Child Rescue Center on 15th march 2012. A students said &ldquo;we prepared a high calorie breakfast for 20 children that included milk, bread and egg. After that, we took the children for bathing and nail-trimming. Then we watched cartoon movies with the children for about 2 hours and it was during this period of time, we came closer to them and developed a kind of attachment with them. After that, we had lunch with them prepared by us. Then, we had a title &ldquo;Art mania&rdquo; where, we taught children how to draw; use and meanings of colors. We then distributed 20 sets of art kit; memento kind of gifts and had a photo-session&rdquo;.<br /> One is always at the back of other to coexist. We must reinforce the fact that if we are social beings, we cannot leave others behind or ignore someone yelling for help. University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) presented more than 45 awards to students at a ceremony in Kathmandu on 26th March, 2010. The Cambridge Outstanding Achiever Awards celebrated exceptional performance in the June and November 2009 Cambrigde examination sessions.

They are Ashwin Joshi from Rato Bangala School (Ktm); Bijaya Adhikari and Ingroj Shrestha from Kathmandu Academy and </span></span><span style="color:#ff8c00;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Suman Bhandari from Kathmandu Xavier International College</span></span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128);"><span style="font-size: 16px;">. Aditi Agrawal from Rato Bangala School (Ktm)&nbsp; won the Top in the World award for Cambridge International AS Level General Paper.

Celebrating World Television Day <p style="text-align: justify"> Xavier International College organized an interaction to celebrate World Television Day on November 21, 2012 at the Media Club in the college premises. The interaction primarily focused on effectiveness, probabilities and the market of television channels at the present while 14 channels are on air.</p> <p style="text-align: justify"> The guests at the program, Mr. Indra Rijal, the C.E.O. of <em>Meeting Point</em>, Mr. Deepak Samir from <em>Nepal Television</em>, Mr. Mahesh Swar from <em>Kantipur Television</em>, Mr. Suman Nepal from <em>ABC</em> and Sudhir Raj Bhandari from <em>News-24</em> had expressed their view at the program. Grand Seminar on A-Level <p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 40px;"> &nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 40px;"> <span style="color:#000080;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Grand Seminar on A-Level<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Under the management of Xavier International College, a grand seminar on International General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level was held at Rastriya Nach Ghar, situated at Jamal. The slogan read &lsquo;A-Level is better option to start your higher education&rsquo;. The programme was chaired by Mr. Kamal Krishna Joshi, Chairman of Xavier International College and University Grand Commission. Dr. A. Anthonysamy S. J., Principal of Saint Xavier&rsquo;s College and Narayan Prasad Sharma, Principal of Budhanilkantha School were also invited at the programme. Vice Principal of Xavier International College, Mr. Bishwo Nath Prajapati briefed the programme schedule for the seminar.<br /> <br /> Students present at the seminar were more than expected as many of them were standing due to lack of seats. Nevertheless the crowd seemed to be curious about the programme. At the starting of the programme, many renowned students of Xavier International were remembered for their great deeds. Shortly after this, Kunti Moktan, who is a music teacher at Xavier International, gave two rocking performances to which students responded with great applauses. &nbsp;Continuing the seminar, a power point presentation on A-Level was demonstrated by the Vice Principal, which was the paramount programme.   13. “100 days 100 Rupees” Campaign <p align="center"> <strong>Students raise more than Rs. 20,000 for &ldquo;100 days 100 Rupees&rdquo; Campaign</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify"> Students from grade 6 &ndash; 9 from the school have successfully participated in the &ldquo;100 days 100 Rupees&rdquo; campaign. The campaign was organized by an organization called Anuvuti, a social enterprise that conducts social based programs. Outdoor activities and excursions like these are annual events for Xavier Students. The students engaged in a vast selection of activities like: jungle walk, elephant rides, canoe cruising and bird watching. On the first day the group travelled to Lumbini having lunch on the way at Gajuri (Water Kingdom). After lunch the students engaged in different games and other activities on the field of water kingdom.</p> <p style="text-align: justify"> The group spent a night and 2 days in Lumbini. They are engaged in different activities indoor and outdoor. They visited Lumbini, Mayadevi temple, 2 hours walk around Bhairahawa villages&rsquo; side and town.</p> <p style="text-align: justify"> The students engaged in various activities like elephants rides, canoe cruising, bird watching, museum visit, watching Tharu Cultural dance and many indoor and outdoor activities including campfire.
