[17:42] <~DarkSunDuelist> The "clunk" of the glass being set on the counter brings to your attention that the entire place has gone quiet.

[17:44] <Jasper> "I think it means we're getting our information one way or another"
[17:45] * Clarent readies his spear, "Well a barfight should be fun."

[17:46] <Clarent> "Well Boss, you're the brawler here."

[17:46] <~DarkSunDuelist> "If you'd like, you can take me on. I've got what you need...but you probably would rather fight a fair fight."

[17:48] * Clarent yells out, "So! Who can tell us about the monster problem? Boss here will fight you for the info!"
[17:48] <~DarkSunDuelist> A couple men and a couple women both punch their fists into the air.
[17:49] <~DarkSunDuelist> A few of one man's partners pull his arm down, and assert that their guy doesn't have any info and that he just hasn't had a fight in a month.
[17:49] <Clarent> "Okay, who knows the most?"
[17:49] <~DarkSunDuelist> You get some quizzical looks and then everyone points at the barmaid, still cleaning dishes.
[17:50] <~DarkSunDuelist> clunk.
[17:50] <Clarent> "Besides her."
[17:50] <Jasper> "Any runner ups?"
[17:51] <~DarkSunDuelist> You get a bunch of shrugs and "i dunno"s from the crowd, but the people that offered from before still have their fists in the air.
[17:51] * Jasper turns back to the barmiad "Quick question, any stakes in this fight?"
[17:52] <~DarkSunDuelist> "Nope. You lose, you just leave without getting your info."
[17:52] <~DarkSunDuelist> "You win, you get what you came for."
[17:52] <Clarent> Well Boss, you'll be doing the fighting, so I'll let you choose."
[17:53] * Jasper surveys the patrons with their fists up
[17:53] <~DarkSunDuelist> "We stop before anybody gets too beaten up. No fatalities, no fancy gimmicks like energy shots, just fists and feet and fortitude."
[17:54] <~DarkSunDuelist> The first man looks fairly beefy. He could probably wrap his entire arm around your waist and snap your spine no problem.
[17:54] <~DarkSunDuelist> At his side is a large club with spikes.
[17:55] <~DarkSunDuelist> The second is a woman with a number of scars on her body. She doesn't look terribly strong, but she does look flexible and has the gaze of a fighter in her eyes. At her hip are 3 daggers in odd sheathes.
[17:56] <~DarkSunDuelist> The last is a woman helping a man with work on what appears to be a high-yield explosive under construction.
[17:56] <~DarkSunDuelist> Nobody seems to pay them any mind, so they must be really good at this shit.
[17:57] <~DarkSunDuelist> On the table between them are a few guns and what you identify as a vibrosword.
[17:59] * Jasper sighs deeply before facing the barmaid
