Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Pegasus Format: “Master Monster”

All existing rules are applicable, but with the following additions:

Each player may have one designated “Master Monster”, a separate card from the Main or Side Decks, which is placed face-up in the Master Zone, located directly next to the Deck Zone, opposite from the side where the Spell & Trap Card Zones are located. This monster must be Level 5 or higher and cannot be Nomi or Semi Nomi.

Once per turn during the Main Phase, during their turn only, a player may Special Summon their Master Monster by Tributing an appropriate amount of monsters. If the Master Monster is Level 5 or 6, one monster must be Tributed. If the Master Monster is Level 7 or higher, two monsters must be Tributed (the one exception to this is if the effect of the monster contains “You must Tribute 3 monsters to Normal Summon this card (you cannot Set this card)”, you must Tribute 3 monsters in order to Special Summon the Master Monster from your Master Zone).

During the turn a Master Monster is Summoned, it cannot be used.

A player cannot Summon their Master Monster during the first turn of the Duel.

When a Master Monster is removed from the field, it is placed face-up in the owner’s Master Zone.
