↳ hyeona was born in toronto canada, and raised by her two parents. her mother was a full-fledged korean, and her father was 50% korean & 50% canadian, thus making hyeona 25% canadian (this is the most math that i’ll ever do). hyeona liked canada more than anything else, because she thought it was more peaceful than other countries, from what she had heard.

↳ when hyeona has turned 10 years old, her mother and father split up. her two parents had a big fight, thereafter resulting in a divorce. hyeona and her mother moved to seoul, south korea, where she spent the rest of her years growing up.

↳ throughout high school, hyeona played multiple sports. her main sports she enjoyed was swimming and volleyball, and she was also a cheerleader. by her 2nd year of high school, hyeona quit cheerleading as the girls on it constantly discriminated against her because she looked “white.”
↳ she barely had any friends, but was especially close to one person. later on, her closest friend commited suicide, which is when hyeona truly changed. she wasn’t as happy and herself after the incident.

↳ hyeona and her mother struggled financially, and hyeona often worked part time jobs to help out. she never thought once about going to college, because she knew the two couldn’t afford it. instead, she worked hard playing on her school’s volleyball team, which had the outcome of a college offering her a full-ride scholarship.

↳ hyeona and her mother slowly drifted apart after they moved to seoul. her mother was uneducated and only could work part-time jobs, and at the same time, was extremely sensitive and unstable after her split with her husband. she often gave hyeona a hard time, but hyeona understood her mother for acting like that and told herself she could never hate her own mother.

   ↳ hyeona, who was relieved she didn’t just die looked up and saw that he was extremely handsome. she also recognized him as jeon jungkook, one of the more popular athletes of the school. jungkook seemed to recognize her too, and after the incident, jungkook often went up to her and they would talk. the two became good friends and soon enough, started dating.

    ❘ hyeona’s volleyball team had left early for a tournament in busan, but hyeona didn’t go with them since she was busy with her jobs. once hyeona got permission to go from her bosses, she hopped on the train to busan to meet up with her teammates that were already in busan.
