 Setting is like early modern Europe with ww1/2 level tech
So Sky grows up in the Shadow the the great metropolis of the Renlay Towers believing she's a normal human in a world where bloodthirsty Creatures called the  Raven Born exist (kindov vampires). She discovers she is one of those monsters, when an uncontrollable bloodlust forced her to kill and eat an innocent woman. (Early premise I borrowed alot from Tokyo Ghoul, but changed practically everything else. The tone, setting, plot). In complete shock and unbelief over what she had just done she is nearly captured by officers investigating the area, but is guided to safety by Dominic another Raven Born. Most of the early plot involves her dealing with the moral dilemma presented that she is an inhuman monster.

She meets and befriends several other Raven Born in the city who have eeked out a life for themselves, maneuvering between working with different criminal organizations. For people with little moral compass having superhuman bodyguards, that have convenient ways of disposing of bodies is a valuable commodity. Sky is rather distraught that the rest of her life will be spent in hiding working for sadistic power hungry murderers. she does take solace that she has her Raven Born friends that she has built a pseudo familial bond with. Dominic, Warren, Grant, and Sky begin to work on a plan to find a way to get all the Raven Born out of the Renlay Towers and build a new home for themselves. by playing, the crime bosses off of each other and pulling off the largest heist the City had ever seen.

Putting this plan into action requires two important things they need to occupy the city guard with a large enough distraction, and they need something strong enough to escort their escape. They determine that Dominic, and Grant will attempt to begin a gang war between Rail Hoppers, and the Picarte gang the two largest gangs in the city(still haven't decided on the details for this one). Simultaneously Warren and Sky will go on an expedition into the vast unpopulated wilderness of the wildland northeast of the city, to hopefully hunt down a Great Beast that rumours have been floating around and Warren could use its power to secure their escape.

*Here I need to explain something about Raven Born. Their bodies are Stronger, Faster, and more durable, than that of a normal humans. They are not invincible however, a bullet to the brain, or heart will kill them like it would any man, their chances of survival from such wounds are higher, yet they would never be able to keep fighting after such trauma.

*Raven Born get their supernatural abilities from chaotic power they gain by consuming other beings. Humans hold a large amount of Chaotic power within them and Raven Born instinctually seek out said power to keep their power from waning. If they do not feed for a month or two a bloodlust will overtake them making them irrational, and unable to control themselves. It is possible for a raven born to restrain themselves before they fall into this state, but it makes them lethargic and weak.

*There are places Called the Wildlands where Chaotic power has saturated the land. In the wildlands sometimes animals can gain massive amounts of chaotic power within themselves due to constant exposure to it, as well as consuming other animals exposed to it. These animals are very powerful beings and are extremely dangerous.

* Due to the massive amount of chaotic power within these beasts Raven Born will set out on expeditions into the wildlands to hunt down these beasts, if successful their bodies will drastically increase in power giving them far more strength, speed, and durability(they can still die from their heart or brain being destroyed, but their ability to heal, and the strength of their bones increases)

Dominic, and Grant begins to gather information and plant spies amongst the Gangs of Renlay, while Warren and Sky gather food and weapons they will need for the journey ahead. While Sky is making her way back from guarding at one of her Boss’s outposts she is stopped by a man that sais he is her brother, he sais his name is Trent Shanning and he was there to inviter her to rejoin with him and her father, in his mercenary band, within the Kingdom of Arslasia. Sky who only has had Vague impressions of her father, and never met her brother refuses to believe him, and even if she did she would not leave the new family she had behind *she grew up with her mother until she died while Skyler was 14*. Trent tells her if she ever changed her mind to find the White Bear in Lima.

Warren and Sky leave together to hunt down the beast. At that time in the upper districts a spree of murders has terrorized the upper class of Renlay city. Believing the murders were done by Raven Born the Citizens of Tower Renlay urge their Chancellor Leonard Crimpks to take action. In an effort to save face and grant himself prestige, he orders and organization of investigators root out the Raven Born population of the city.

Dominic in an effort to keep his spywork under wraps is forced to attempt to blackmail one of the Made men of the North end Rail Hoppers. This blackmail fails to intimidate him and a tip makes it way to Mason Roche the Boss of the Rail Hoppers. The Investigators working for the chancellor begin to pick up the trail of the murderer they had been pursuing. Along the way they capture Blair( a minor Character who is friend with Grant, and Sky). They discover the murderer to be a normal human. he worships the Raven Born believing them to be an avatar of his bloodthirsty God. his ritual killings involved the consumption of flesh making his grisly aftermath reminiscent of a Raven Born attack.

Unphased by this Leonard Crimpsk has the investigators continue to investigate for Raven Born, he need to root them out for his public image. it doesn't matter that the murderer was a human he needs the eradication of the cities Raven Born to be one of his accolades. Blair is tortured horrendously and he is promised to be left alive if he tells them the location of his brethren. Blair submits and betrays the location of their hideaway. Leonard Crimpks prepares an elite unit of soldiers to kill the monsters infesting his city.

Sky and Warren track down the beast. in their first encounter with it Warren is torn limb from limb, Sky escapes narrowly. Sky makes the decision to kill the beast herself, for the sake of her new family. After nearly a week of tracking an planning she manages to set a trap for the beast to wound it, take advantage of the Beast’s weakened state, to kill and consume it.

She returns to the city distraught over Warren’s Death, but with newfound strength and confidence. When she returns to the hideout she finds several of her friends dead, or dying and the clamour of battle in the floors below. She manages to distract the soldiers slaughtering her brothers and sisters, long enough to allow a group to escape, yet even with her newfound power she cannot hope to fend off nearly a hundred well trained and experienced veterans. After finding a means to get away from the soldiers she comes across Blair, and Grant attempting to run away she manages to help them and evade the veterans searching for them. Through a few human friend she had made while working for the Picarte gang, she manages to smuggle herself, Grant, and Blair out of the city and south to the Kingdom of Arslasia.
