Aku vs. Kamui

[10:28] Aku exclaims, "Hey, hey!"
[10:29] Aku asks, "Do you know where we can find cool flowers?"
[10:29] Riyna doesn't know how we came from Dawn to here, but was here anyway.

[10:29] Riyna Invidia says, "...flower pots."
[10:29] Kamui says, "Mm..."
[10:29] Kamui says, "Pay the toll."
[10:29] Aku nods.

"Flower pots."

[10:29] Aku asks, "Huh?"
[10:29] Aku says, "But Ashalle said we didn't have to...."
[10:30] Aku exclaims, "Because it's a super secret tower for kids!"
[10:32] Kamui looked like he had just been in combat, with red marks sharply stretched across his neck.

He moves forward, orange hues looking between the two teens. Crouching low, he comes down to their level of height for a moment. ''Super Secret Tower for kids?'' Did Ashalle really give them permission?

''Do I look like a kid?''

Something made both of them seem familiar though, yet sadly Kamui wasn't in the right state of mind currently. Had he seen these two around in his travels?

''Is that what Ashalle told you?''

[10:33] Riyna didn't know who 'we' were, they still didn't even know why the two came here in the first place. Not only was she confused, but her face showed complete confusion.

[10:35] Aku offered a nod to the approaching man. It seemed rather obvious that he had been through a rough time, and that would be touched upon in due time too. But for now the redhead merely answered the question, menacing approach being brushed aside.

"She made that old woman pay but said that we didn't have to! And then we watched fights— she had super cool monsters that shot hundreds of bubbles."

Aku leaned a bit closer to get a better look at the marks upon Kamui.

"What happened to you? Did you get into a big fight too? Was it cool? I bet it was cool!"

[10:50] Pushing up from the ground, he keeps his focus mainly on Aku. Since the other seemed too confused, he had a feeling that the red-haired boy was dragging them around.

''You know. If I find out you've lied to me, I will be very angry. Ashalle could arrive here at any moment, so I hope she said those exact words. 'You can come to the tower, you don't need to pay the toll.' Hmm?''

The motion to his neck does cause him to touch at it, feeling the stretched skin and harsh cuts across his form. ''Huh...'' He can't recall what happened completely, but he does let his Holy Lightning aura flare up to slowly heal his body over.

''Not sure, must've blacked out!''

[10:52] Aku nodded once more, words offered to the man who seemed to have a bit of a memory problem. "She didn't say that exactly, but she said we didn't have to pay last time! Or maybe she did say that... I don't remember, Mikael would, though."

A few more nods for good measure, and a question following them.

"You black out during fights? That's... dangerous."

[10:52] Aku says, "And scary."
[10:58] Riyna was really separated from most of the conversation going on. She was really just there trying to find pots of flowers to do more studying in regards to nature and matter manipulation inside of them. A rather, easy task with a strenuous effort behind it all, but was something she was going to do regardless of how she felt about the matter. When It became obvious that Aku was clueless on the things, Riyna simply wised up to the occasion.

"I don't know what's going on, but if there's a toll to pay, just tell the price." The Kitsune looked at Aku, rolling her eyes. Riyna didn't know if they were lying or not, but regardless of him she was fine with just simply paying for the toll. "I don't even know how we got from Dawn to here, I was sure we were going to find twelve pots there." A shrug. "Yet, here we are."

[11:01] Curling his three fingers back, before pointing his index finger to the ground and hanging his thumb out. He turns his hand over, uncurling those fingers to hold out his hand dramatically.

''One hundred coins. From both of you.''

Greedy, it seemed he was more eager to receive payment than before now. The runes on his body glimmering to his emotions rattling. Canines on display, with wide eyes that focused more on Riyna now.

But he does slowly turn his head back onto Aku again.

''I don't normally blackout during fights, but I have been experimenting lately to advance my own mind.'' In fact, if anyone knew Kamui from before... The way he was speaking now was not normal, it was far from how he normally acts.

[11:06] Aku shook his head despite the display that was given and the demand for coins. There was no way he'd hand something over to someone, that was just admitting defeat.

"Nuh uh. That's way too many coins! When we asked that weird Nagual for coins we asked for two, not a hundred! You're doing it wrong..."

His audible complaint and refusal to cooperate may just get them in trouble, though he had a gut feeling that Riyna would be the type to just pull out the money and clear everything up anyway - might as well abuse that!

"Are you trying to make your mind faster with, like, lightning? Because that sounds super cool! Does it hurt?"

Perhaps shifting the subject would also help.

[11:07] "One-hundred coins."

Riyna paused for a few seconds.

"I see no reason to pay for you, Aku, you bought us here when I simply wanted flower plants." The Kitsune's tail flickered just a bit, not happy with the given situation. "And, seeing that I have to pay with money from my grandfather, Neo, I am even more pissed."

Her hand went into a bag, counting out a hundred coins and retracting her hand when the crowns were just enough and in abundance. The held it out, ready for it to be snatched, but she quickly bolded her hand into a fist and went to slam her foot down into Aku's own.

"Shut. up." She was not having any of that. "They asked for one-hundred, they get one hundred." Her gaze then focused on to Kamui, letting the coins be visible. "Here, sorry for him, he's special."

[11:17] Aku's refusal to pay the toll did cause obvious annoyance from Kamui, just because he was young didn't make him special. But before he could lash out so harshly, it seemed Riyna was paying up just fine.

''Neo?'' He couldn't help but grin, still willing to take the coins granted to him. Which also brings him to the talk about his experimenting, a short chuckle leaving his lips.

''Neo Invidia is the one aiding me with my improvement, he told me if I don't show progress that I will die. It gets me so fired up, I feel the inspiration to grow flowing through me!''

Those blood written runes on his body glimmer, even more, emotions heightened.

''Thank-you, young Invidia. It seems you are sensible and smart, but unlucky for your companion... Friend? I am not too sure what you label them as, but they seem to lack those brains ofyours.'' He moves his hand over Aku's head, fingers grasping his red locks of hair. ''You see, no matter how old you are... You can't trust people. I would show sympathy, but we didn't get any. Thrown out of our own home, at least you have one to return to when I crush you? You'll never understand an experience like our own, and I do not plan to go easy on you because we were once bullied by adults.''

He licks his lips, before sending his boot directly into Aku's torso. It wasn't to hurt him, but to make some space between them. Holy Lightning crackling around his body, he waves for Riyna to stand back.

''Out the way... I will teach this boy some MANNERS.''

[11:21] "Ah, yes, improvement is nice; I am improving myself, daily." Runa seemed easy with just giving them the money, however, when the show was about to start, she quickly scooted over to the side and watched. However, that was when she felt some form of guilt coming across them, and with a sigh, she raised a finger in a way that seemed like a plea.

"I can't believe I am doing this...Don't maim him or break him. He is still helping me find pots of flowers."

[11:27] What a horrible fate to be subjected to. Riyna's rather obvious disarray towards the situation wouldn't even compare to Kamui's words. The world had... wronged him? That's what it sounded like. The young Aku wasn't too sure he understood what it all meant, but the fact he'd turn into the very tyrant he once escaped made everything a bit more clear: This guy was an ass.

Teeth came to a grit as his breath was nearly taken away from the kick, forcing him backwards and closer to the Dreadwoods. The clueless, enthusiastic and quite happy expression on his face shifted to one that was far from a smile. It hadn't been the first time an adult went to threaten him, after all.

Light a star in the nightsky the redhead's body began glowing, cosmic energies gathering about him, harsh words being sent right back towards Kamui.

"You think you were the only ones who got put down by adults in their home?!" He shouted out - already engaging the man with a swift dash, fist aimed at his cheek to release some strength and words. A lack of weapon or equipment wouldn't stop him, especially not against someone like that.

"They wanted to kill me just 'cause we tried having an adventure outside the settlement!"

It seemed that adults everywhere were jerks.

[11:32] Gravity raises his body up into the air, as holy lightning continues to ripple across his body. The sky clouding up, as sparks of gold flutter across the sky. First came the flash... Then came the rumble of thunder that was amplified by his sound magic, enough to make anyone's stomach sink.

Even as Aku tried to express his own woes, Kamui lifted a hand up to cast sound over him. Nullifying everything the boy was saying, he didn't want to hear it.

''I didn't ask for a response, but you'll understand that no matter your age or who you are-- You aren't special when it comes to paying this toll. And now you'll pay it by feeling the earth's pull.''

And with that, he moves forward to engage the boy.

[11:33] Chum stares at the pillow daemon. He wondered if it was as strong as the fire one. He then looks down toward Kamui and Aku. What was this? More passerby's.

What did they want?

The pirate king folded his arms and then chuckles as Kamui advances.

"Quite the rowdy one aren't ya laddie!" The siren begins to snap his tendrils against one another making clapping sounds.

[11:49] Kamui didn't go all out, there wasn't any need against young children. Even if he was angry, he would rather extend the battle for his own enjoyment. The thrill was much more enjoyable, than simple defeat. Maybe that was something he picked up from Niklaus?

Allowing for cosmic magic and even gravity to attack, the cold flames that sear across his torso. A dark gray marking left across his armor from the meteor thrown in his direction, even with the crushing pull of gravity that weighed him down. Marvelous. And the most familiar magic, crystal. Something Ahmir was good with, yet it was only an explosion around the boy. Blocking attacks and even causing spikes to sharply slice into flesh, causing splodges of blood to hit the grass below.

''My turn.''

Lightning dancing around his palm is struck across the boy's chest, causing clothes to rip and a deep wound to stretch across his torso. Followed was an explosion of sound, amplified to send the boy sliding across the ground. Gravity sinking his body and straining his muscles, causing his entire body to feel aches and pains.

''Next time, when you come to this tower. You'll pay double the price, understand? Fail to pay once, you pay more the next time. Two hundred coins!''

Floating down to the boy, he presses his boot against his cheek. Smudging him into the ground, he looks around to stare directly at him. ''Name?''

Aku had every opportunity to either run away... Or remain and finish talking.

[11:54] As much fun as it was to see two magi's go at it, they did have to look away when they saw how strong Kamui really was. When Kamui was about to go in to absoutetly destroy, it was a sight that only people of that sort of taste wanted to see - Runa was not having any of it. Her eyes went to the dreadswoods until the dance of gravity was over.

However, looking at the Dreadwoods filled her with a sort of dissatisfaction, it also made her feel sick - who would actively go in there? A simple shake of her head and she returned to both of them, and seeing that Kamui was truly the winner in this. However, when the child did lack a weapon, equipment, and maybe more experience.

Deep down, she did want to help - however, Runa remembered that Aku wanted her to pay more than needed, so the punishment was just rewarded. However, Aku was still trying to help find pots of flowers in order to go on with her teaching.

She took a step, just one.

"Here. I'll pay his debt just this once; I still need flower pots, and he apparently knows where to get them - so..."

She waited.

[11:55] That strike took the wind right out of him - electrifying his body and forcing him to the ground with his clothes being ripped up. The moment his rear touched the ground he'd be bouncing away, forced backwards by soundwaves and kept down on the ground by the weight of enhanced gravity. A frown remained on his features, a grit came to his teeth and a light pulse of cosmic energy held him conscious.

Grey eyes locked onto the adult's own, fists clenching as he damned his inability to stand back up and fight again.

"Screw you..! I'm not gonna let some adult tell me where I can or can't be!"

It was a repeat of his bout with Aldrah, wasn't it? The Necromancer had tried to restrain Aku's possibilities in a similar manner, even threatening his life over it. Kamui... He was an adult who couldn't understand.

He didn't even give out his name.

[12:02] Kamui raises his foot from the boys face, placing it down on the ground normally again. Runa offering to pay for him was fine, Kamui is quick to take her money.

But... His attention remained on Aku.

''It doesn't matter. It's not of a matter of not being allowed here or not, it's simply paying the price to come like everyone else. You are not special. And if you keep thinking that way, you'll die. Lucky for someone like me, I have so much pent up... Aggression! You should consider yourself lucky, that even my need to protect extends to others. I am being kind, you should accept it.''

He waves his hand over the boy's body, all the superficial injuries are healed over and closed. He would've probably felt his energy return to him, able to stand and move around again.

''So now your tolls are paid. In full. What is it you are looking for?''

[12:05] A quick toss of two-hundred coins. What a nice little Kitsune she was to do something for a boy who obviously didn't care if she was broke or not. A quick eye roll, a tsk, and even a stare at the downed Aku and that was that. The debt was paid in full, and now the real things can now go on, right?

She turned to Kamui. "I need twelve flower pots that have the seeds of any flower on Agartha in them. They are needed for my natural attunement. If you do have these flower pots, it would be -very- appreciated." Runa quickly gets closer towards Aku, but not running towards them - she didn't care that much in the first place. Her right hand going to help lift up the downed boy. "Aku...next time someone asks you to pay a toll, just pay the toll, okay?"

An eye roll, why was an Invidia doing this?

[12:11] Aku kept giving Kamui an angry expression, even going as far as to have a retort for his every word - something that showed the kind of person he was, despite being unable to really scratch his opponent in that fight.

"You're not the one who gets to decide if I'm special or not!"

Nothing and no one would decide the path he'd set himself on, that much had been said and proven before another vile adult before. Thankfully enough the pain mixed with Runa's rather caring behavior made him calm down a tad. He rose up to his feet, taking the hand offered to him in the process before huffing out.

"You didn't have to waste your money, Runa. This is my problem, not yours."

[12:11] Kamui says, "My advice is... If you want to walk around like you can do whatever you like, walk around with more than one friend. I'd suggest five or more."
[12:11] Kamui says, "No one is special, really."
[12:12] "Please, just don't talk if you're going to act like a hero that got beat down. We're here for one thing, and twelve things only." Runa patted Aku on the back, and quickly turned to Kamui; where was the flower pots old man?!

"He does have a point."

No one is special besides the Invidia, we're cool, right?

[12:13] Runa raises a brow towards them.

[12:16] Kamui exclaims, "Fair trade!"
[12:16] Kamui says, "Next time red here causes trouble at our tower, after being shown he shouldn't."
[12:16] Kamui says, "It'll be worse than a lesson taught."
[12:16] Runa looks at Aku.

[12:17] Runa Invidia says, "Come on, let's go back to Dawn."

[12:17] Runa flashes a smile and a wave.
