06[11:04] * Malachi was still asleep. He rolls off the bed.
06[11:05] * Malachi takes all the sheets with him though so minor victory achieved
06[11:05] * Chris_Norhtup pops up as the sheets are pulled off her and onto the floor. She sniffs at the air. "Bacon?"
06[11:06] * Chris_Norhtup peeks over the edge of the bed. "Mal."
06[11:06] * Malachi hesitates, still waking up.
[11:07] <Malachi> "I hope it's not that old meat."

06[11:10] * Liz_Weston looks up at the stairs as she hears Chris come down, slurping up a piece of bacon into her mouth. "Good morning," she says as she flips another crep over.
06[11:10] * Liz_Weston smiles at Mal and Chris. "How did you sleep?"
06[11:11] * Malachi blinks.
[11:11] <Malachi> "Erm, alright."
06[11:11] * Malachi takes a seat at the table and continues observing Liz.
06[11:11] * Chris_Norhtup smiles "Pretty good." she takes a seat and watches Liz cook. "Looks good..."
06[11:12] * Liz_Weston lets the crep cook for just a bit longer than scoops it onto an awaiting plate.
[11:12] <Liz_Weston> "There's some stuff to go on them in the fridge and there's sugar in that cabinet."
[11:13] <Liz_Weston> "And thanks, its been a long time since I've cooked these."
06[11:13] * Malachi looks at the funny pancake and then back at Liz.
01[11:13] <Chris_Norhtup> "Do we have any syrup?"
06[11:13] * Liz_Weston nods. "Yeah, in the cabinet over there." Liz points to the one next to the sink.
[11:14] <Liz_Weston> "I bought some stuff last night."
[11:14] <Malachi> "Oh. That's where you went."
[11:14] <Malachi> "To buy crepe ingredients."
[11:14] <Malachi> "How did you sleep?"
06[11:14] * Chris_Norhtup gets the bottle of syrup out and brings it back to the counter.
06[11:15] * Liz_Weston picks up a piece of bacon from a plate next to the cooker and shoves it in her mouth. "Well, that's were I ended up eventually. I slept well."
[11:15] <Liz_Weston> "Sand is actually quite comfortable."
[11:15] <Malachi> "It is!"
06[11:16] * Chris_Norhtup grins. "Took a nap on the beach?"
[11:16] <Liz_Weston> "Yeah. I went and got this stuff when I woke up. No lines or anything." Liz smirks at that.
[11:17] <Malachi> "Ok so you slept outside on the beach by yourself and then the first thing you thought to do when you woke up... was to go and buy breakfast? Why didn't you just eat out somewhere?"
06[11:18] * Malachi is pretty obviously perplexed
[11:18] <Liz_Weston> "I wanted to cook for you guys. Plus most places weren't open at the time."
[11:19] <Malachi> "Oh!"
06[11:19] * Malachi blushes a bit.
[11:19] <Malachi> "Sorry."
[11:19] <Malachi> "I thought you were just going crazy."
06[11:19] * Liz_Weston pours some more batter onto the pn.
06[11:19] * Chris_Norhtup chuckles slightly when he says that
06[11:19] * Liz_Weston grins at him. "What's to say I haven't?"
06[11:20] * Liz_Weston turns back to the cooking crep and flips it expertly.
[11:20] <Malachi> "Well they're not mut- this conversation is silly."
06[11:20] * Malachi looks at the cooking.
[11:20] <Malachi> "Can I have some?"
06[11:21] * Chris_Norhtup watches her cook hungrily
06[11:21] * Liz_Weston nods. "Just get some creps from the plate." She indicates the plate she put the last one on. About 4 creps sit there.
[11:21] <Liz_Weston> "The bacons mine though."
[11:22] <Malachi> "Is there any other meat?"
[11:23] <Liz_Weston> "I cooked and ate it earlier this morning. It wasn't half bad." Liz grins mysteriously; its hard to tell if she's joking or not.
[11:23] <Liz_Weston> "The spoiled meat anyway. I got some more."
[11:23] <Liz_Weston> "I think there's....maybe 4 strips left."
06[11:24] * Malachi stares, mouth open.
06[11:24] * Chris_Norhtup looks up when she implys she ate the spoiled meat. "Oh... eh, at least it went to use?"
[11:24] <Malachi> "Crepes are fine."
01[11:24] <Chris_Norhtup> "Yeah crepes are good."
[11:24] <Malachi> "I'll have some crepes."
[11:24] <Malachi> "Thankyou."
06[11:24] * Liz_Weston laughs. "Feel free to get some then." She pushes another crepe onto the plate.
06[11:25] * Chris_Norhtup gets a plate and grabs two.
06[11:25] * Malachi goes and gets a couple of crepes. He fetches the some nutella on the way back and uses half of the pot on one
06[11:26] * Malachi then rolls it up and starts eating.
06[11:26] * Chris_Norhtup looks at him. "You do realize it's breakfest, not desert right?"
06[11:26] * Chris_Norhtup puts some syrup on hers and starts eating.
06[11:26] * Liz_Weston pours the last of the batter into the pan.
06[11:26] * Malachi has his mouth completely full and takes a few moments to reply.
[11:26] <Malachi> "Why is syrup any different?"
[11:27] <Liz_Weston> "Because of tradition."
06[11:27] * Malachi continues eating.
[11:28] <Malachi> "I don't get it."
06[11:28] * Liz_Weston uses a spatula to loosen up the crepe to prep it for flipping.
01[11:28] <Chris_Norhtup> "It's also not spreadable chocolate."
06[11:28] * Chris_Norhtup takes another bite.
06[11:28] * Malachi finishes the crepe.
[11:29] <Malachi> "Are you sure we can't have any bacon?"
06[11:29] * Malachi pokes his unfurnished one with a knife.
06[11:29] * Liz_Weston sighs in exasperation. "I said there was four rashes left."
06[11:30] * Liz_Weston flips the crepe.
01[11:30] <Chris_Norhtup> "Rash?"
06[11:30] * Chris_Norhtup wrinkles her nose up in disgust.
[11:30] <Liz_Weston> "It means slice of bacon."
01[11:31] <Chris_Norhtup> "Oh."
[11:31] <Malachi> "Are they cooked?"
06[11:31] * Malachi doesn't think to get up
[11:31] <Liz_Weston> "They're in the fridge. If you get them out for me, I'll cook them for you."
06[11:32] * Liz_Weston watches the crepe, then scoops it onto the crepe plate.
[11:33] <Liz_Weston> "So, what plans do you two have for today?"
06[11:33] * Liz_Weston asks, leaning against the cooker after turning off the gas.
06[11:33] * Malachi goes over to the fridge. He goes and fetches them and delivers them to Liz, standing ready for her to take them.
[11:33] <Malachi> "We could try and get a band manager."
06[11:33] * Liz_Weston takes them and as Mal turns away ruffles his hair slightly.
06[11:34] * Malachi recoils when he notices what she's doing, and backs into the fridge.
[11:34] <Liz_Weston> "We could try. Though I doubt we need one." Liz says as she turns back to the cooker.
[11:34] <Malachi> "Okay again that is worrying."
06[11:35] * Liz_Weston looks over and sighs. "I was trying to show you last night. I have more control over it now."
[11:35] <Liz_Weston> "I'm not going to flip out and kill you if we touch."
06[11:36] * Liz_Weston pours some oil onto the pan and turns on the gas.
06[11:36] * Malachi returns to his seat giving Liz a wide berth.

06[11:37] * Liz_Weston swivvles the pan back and forth spreading out the oil. She then shoves some bacon on. She smiles at the smell it makes.

06[11:39] * Chris_Norhtup thinks for a second. "So it's like Mal?"
[11:40] <Malachi> "She copied me."
06[11:40] * Liz_Weston laughs
06[11:40] * Malachi grins.
06[11:40] * Chris_Norhtup laughs with her
[11:40] <Liz_Weston> "I wouldn't say copied and anyway, my transformation was started before you were even five. If anyone copied anyone, it was you."
06[11:41] * Liz_Weston points at Mal with the spatula with a smile on her face.
[11:42] <Malachi> "No I mean mentally."
06[11:42] * Malachi stares.
06[11:42] * Liz_Weston blinks. "Mentally?"
06[11:43] * Chris_Norhtup looks confused.
[11:43] <Malachi> "Well mostly mentally."
[11:43] <Liz_Weston> "You mean the frosted glass metaphor?"
06[11:43] * Liz_Weston is confused.
06[11:43] * Malachi pauses.
[11:43] <Malachi> "Yeah kinda."
[11:44] <Liz_Weston> "Ah ok. You need to work on your explanations." Liz turns back to the cooking bacon before it can possibly burn.
06[11:45] * Malachi shrugs. He wants to have bacon with his crepe. It seems like a good idea in his head.
06[11:45] * Chris_Norhtup finishes up her crepes hapily.
[11:45] <Liz_Weston> "I wanted to say sorry for trying to kill you that day." Liz says as she shuffles around the bacon.
[11:46] <Liz_Weston> "Being assualted by a lazer and having your leg and arm muscles ripped out along with being bolted and strapped down, didn't put me in the best frame of mind."

[11:47] <Malachi> "I did ask if you were okay about six times."
[11:47] <Malachi> "You should have said."

06[11:48] * Liz_Weston grins.

[11:49] <Liz_Weston> "I only attacked you because you were the only threat I could sense. Sorry."
06[11:50] * Liz_Weston scoops the bacon onto a plate.
[11:50] <Liz_Weston> "Bacon's done. Come and get it."
06[11:50] * Malachi goes and gets the plate and sticks it on the table.
06[11:50] * Liz_Weston turns off the stove leaving the pan on the cooker.
06[11:51] * Liz_Weston picks up the plate of creps and goes and gets some sugar.
06[11:51] * Liz_Weston pours it on then joins the two at the kitchen table.
[11:51] <Liz_Weston> "So...what are you two going to do today?"
06[11:51] * Chris_Norhtup sits back happily. "Not sure yet."
06[11:51] * Malachi takes some bacon.
[11:51] <Malachi> "Do you want any?"
06[11:52] * Liz_Weston smiles at him. "That would be good."
06[11:54] * Malachi takes all of the bacon then and wraps it in the crepe.
06[11:55] * Liz_Weston looks at Mal take all the bacon.
06[11:55] * Malachi cuts the crepe in half and gives half of it to Liz.
06[11:56] * Liz_Weston smiles at that and picks it up. "Thank you."
06[11:56] * Chris_Norhtup smiles watching the two, resting her head on her hand.
06[11:56] * Malachi just gets on with eating
06[11:57] * Liz_Weston feasts upon the meat. Its been almost five minutes from that last piece of bacon so its extra good.
06[11:58] * Malachi eats a bite and then goes and fetches some ketchup.

06[12:00] * Malachi returns and draws a line of ketchup on the rolled half-crepe. He then demolishes it

[12:00] <Malachi> "We normally just hang around on Saturdays."
06[12:00] * Liz_Weston eats one of the sugar-coated crepes.
01[12:00] <Chris_Norhtup> "THere's plenty we could do, but I don't have my heart set on one thing."

06[12:01] * Malachi rests his chin on the table.
06[12:01] * Liz_Weston finishes chewing and swallows noisely. "Why don't you take a look at the baby?"
06[12:02] * Malachi looks at Chris.
[12:02] <Malachi> "Could we even do that?"
06[12:02] * Chris_Norhtup looks suprised and looks at Mal. "I don't... can we?" she looks back at Liz.
06[12:02] * Malachi stares at Liz too. Like a child.
06[12:02] * Liz_Weston smiles at her. "I think so. There probably won't be too much more to see, it will be a bit bigger."
[12:03] <Liz_Weston> "But you can if you want."
06[12:03] * Chris_Norhtup nods smiling. "Yes!"
06[12:03] * Liz_Weston looks over at Mal. "What do you think?"
[12:03] <Malachi> "It sounds fun. When Karla's around we can ask her maybe?"
[12:04] <Liz_Weston> "I know the code to her labs though really we should ask Baxter to let us in."
01[12:04] <Chris_Norhtup> "Right."
[12:05] <Malachi> "Oh cool. Didn't it get hidden somewhere though?"
[12:05] <Malachi> "As it's kind of weird."
[12:05] <Liz_Weston> "Her lab is pretty secure but yeah its going to be moved soon. This will probably be your last chance to see it for a while."
06[12:06] * Malachi scratches his head.
[12:06] <Malachi> "Okay then."

06[12:06] * Chris_Norhtup looks concerned.
06[12:07] * Liz_Weston shrugs. "Karla has another lab somewhere on the island, I think. I don't know where it is."

06[12:08] * Liz_Weston shakes her head. "It won't be going that far but you probably won't be able to see it again until Karla gets back."

[13:40] <Malachi> "Karla might be another option if you're unable but she is always busy."
