I'm not kidding when I say I'm old enough to know better - the odds of actually succeeding against an army of Spider-Men (and Spider-Pigs, and so on) is hilariously low. The only way to survive is to completely subvert expectations, and keep my face concealed under a reasonably similar mask to theirs in order to screw with them.

I got involved as a part of everything, because of course one cannot avoid that, but mostly because my quarries for the Hunt were the more... let us say problematic iterations. You know, folks like a symbiote-bound serial killer Spiderman, another called Pestilence, that Patton Parnell guy (which I stole from Marlun, yoink)... folks like that. It didn't hurt that I could make my own way about, but jumping from sixties cartoons to edgelord city to comic strips... talk about whiplash. As far as the other Spider-Men who weren't idiots? Sure, I got into a nice brawl with the group a couple of times. Initially they dismissed my use of webbing as something I stole from them somehow, but they managed to pin me down briefly and unmask me, only to see the face of Ben Parker staring back at them. That shocked them long enough for me to make good my escape.

When the Spider army made their final push, there was a brief scuffle before they realized I'd chosen to join them and the other defecting Inheritor, and the battle was won as inevitably as anyone would expect. All very much by-the-numbers, but there's nothing wrong with going that route once in a while, is there?
