1. Name: Sascha the Elvenblooded
2.
3. Age: ~500
4.
5. Gender: Female
6.
7. Race: High Elf (Secretly)
8.
9. Appearance: Even once she got more money, she still dresses in what seems like rags... at least it's better than this.
10.
11. Profession: Gladiator, Guildmaster
12.
13. Personality: Sullen and ill-tempered, Sascha nevertheless nurses a sweet spot for children--having seen too many be forced to learn to fight merely so they could die for another's entertainment. She is incredibly hard to calm down, and the more experienced guild members know to evacuate the area if she's set off and to go see about getting replacement furniture.
14.
15. And heaven help you if you hurt a child near her.
16.
17. Equipment/Weapons: The Cursed Blade Starlight--one of the most famous elven treasures, as well as one that was never lost. Wielded all along by the Horde's leader, it was tainted by his rage against the Snow Elves, and negates all enchantments and magic that its blade cuts through. Apparently indestructible, wielding it for long periods of time is bad for one's mental stability; even the calmest of individuals will lose their temper whilst using it, and the more rage-filled... well, getting as far away as possible is a good idea.
18.
19. Abilities: The greatest individual warrior in Karstberg--but also a financial genius. Despite her initially-unknown heritage, she's learned her race's 'traditional' arts on the side, even if her combat speciality is still berserker melee. Much study has gone into her fighting style, and scholars have debated how it works to hell and back, yet all they can agree on is that she has a preternatural awareness of the flow of combat and her surroundings, making even scratching her an achievement of itself. This same sixth sense makes even what looks like a finesse-less berserker rage an impossible-to-feint opponent that goes straight for weak spots.
20.
21. She is deceptively strong for her physique--though the speed is expected, tossing a grown man like a sack of feathers using just one hand is not.
22.
23. Nowadays, it's the financial acumen that sees the most use: wisely investing and selling, all but keeping the Gladiator's Guild as a prestigious institute even as crowds dwindle and dwindle. None of her attention has gone yet to reversing this decline... but when she does, the accumulated funds will help.
24.
25. Brief Backstory: Born as the horde collapsed, Sascha's mother didn't live long after her birth, but did take the time to disguise her heritage: she did not want her to be traced, for very good reason. Sadly, her death meant nothing could be done to prevent the infant going to the arena, with her fate ultimately being to fight until such time as she was no longer fit to fight, whether through age or death.
26.
27. A bright child, she took to everything except 'discipline' with ease, and at times scared the combat teachers with the ferocity of her attacks. Maturity came soon enough, and she went to battle in the arenas, defeating anything and everything put into the ring with her. After a tour of the continent, she returned to Karstberg's arena--and due to all-or-nothing bets on her own ability and ridiculous circumstances of victory, Sascha had the money to outright buy it.
28.
29. This set in motion the restructuring of the gladiators, and the acquired shortly-after charioteers, into a respectable modern guild, rather than the slave-reliant deathtrap she had been born into. It was also at this point that she gained her title due to her sheer lack of ageing... and, suspecting there might be a grain of truth in it, asked the occasional nomads their opinion.
30.
31. Through pigheadedness and charisma, she was offered a once-in-a-lifetime chance: if she could touch Starlight without burning, she was an elf. If she could force her hand to grasp it at all, she was a high elf. The unmentioned possibility--that she could wield the treasure--was deemed irrelevant, as it was well known the sword's deceased creator had no living family; he'd never had children and all others had died as the horde splintered.
32.
33. She could wield it. With custom dictating that the sword should have been her birthright anyway, the nomads kept shut and let her take it... but they warned her to use it sparingly, both to keep her secret, well, secret, and to not worsen her already infamous temper.
34.
35. Only once has the blade been put to active use, where a corrupt guardsman many years ago allowed a school to be ransacked. The Watch was searching for enough body parts for identification for months.
