- [19:58] Seneca blinked, then they looked at the danty chair behind them. Easing into it softly, those great wings folding to the sides as he did so. One leg lifted off the plush carpet, coming up to drap over the other at the knee. They'd then nestle there hands upon said knee.
- Gazing at Lorelai softly with those warm violet hues. "Of course miss."
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:58] Lorelai takes a soft and slow seat onto the stool, a creak coming from it as she would put her elbows on the edge of the piano, remembering the song, note from note from her memory. She stays there for awhile, being completely silent while doing so. Her cloak would lie idle with her tail and ears lowering down as well.
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)

- [20:00] Lorelai M. Kirk asks, "Ready?"
- [20:01] Lorelai M. Kirk asks, "Seneca, you ready?"
- [20:01] His head nodded evenly, perhaps a little distracted for a moment. "Yes, I am ready."
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:01] A soft sigh comes from Lorelai, her body seems to loosen up a bit as her hands would hover above the first starting keys.
- The first few notes are played. The sound of grace, passion, yet with the hint of anger and sadness overlay the first few sounds. The ambition to keep moving, and growing is present in the tone of the melody at the start.
- The power of her keys would be imminent right away. The feeling of emotion, pure emotion coming from each sound the keys give. A soft hum starts coming from her.
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:05] With the notes coming from the piano, that soft humming echoing in the air. Seneca hummed along, resonating with the kitsune's rhythm. Then, they began to sing there voice relaxed and matching the atmosphere.
- "In the days of old.~
- There came from Astaya beasts so bold.~
- They drove the peoples from lands-loooow.~
- In the days of old.~
- From the low-lands we rose.~
- From jungles to the stones.~
- They drove the peoples from lands-looow~
- From the low-lands we rose.~
- In the lands so high.~
- We found salvation in the skies.~
- With teeth of spears and skin of stone.~
- In the lands so high.~
- Myydraag the Mighty we found.~
- Under his wings we found a home.~
- Under his command we found purpose.~
- Myydraag the Mighty we found.~
- The dragons they had come.~
- From on high we slew the beasts so bold.~
- They found damnation amidst the stones.~
- The dragons they had come.~"
- As the music ended, they to would calm there singing and simply look towards Lorelai. Lips curled into a friendly smile.

- [20:07] Lorelai's soft voice comes through to yell at Seneca in a calm, but still hostile way.
- "I already have for this shut up."
- A soft sigh comes from her. Her cloudy mind filled with thoughts -- useless thoughts. She clears them out of her head as she clears her throat.
- The notes come to her three times over, the pattern of where they keys are come to life as she presses the first key with such grace -- and passion. Her keystrokes sound like a story of itself. Filled with emotion and a sad bliss -- a fire at the heart slowly starting to warm up to full capacity.
- Her angelic voice -- probably never heard from anyone in this room would break through. It was soft, yet sweet, and a hint of what you would call passive-aggressive anger or something like that in the under-tone.
- "A story
- told in notes.
- Heard with eyes
- yet watched with ears."
- Hopefully Seneca doesn't interrupt the song anymore....

- [20:12] Listened as Lorelai repeat themselves twice. Hah, that was funny. A hand came to cover there mouth as a soft giggle escaped.
- "Please pardon me, miss."
- It was so rude to jack a show after-all. They would resettle, listening to there hosts song now. It was after all there home.
- A soft nod of there head echoed with the initial verse. Listening quietly as they did so. They couldn't help but enjoy the atmosphere even if it was a little hostile.

- [20:14] A story -- illustrated with sounds and felt with ears. The power to mend feelings -- and thoughts. Something strong, filled with passion. Passion from the stars, the sky, and every. Something unfelt before by 'normal' people. The passion to live. The will to live. The will to survive, the will to thrive, beats in each key stroke.
- The early life of such a child like Lorelai, it was temperate and calm. Living with her parents at a young age until distress swept through Osrona -- the impending fights between the Order and Moonfall occurred.
- The hint of sadness grows until a breaking point -- as grace breaks through happily, and boldly. The bliss -- eternal bliss that was with Sasaki. Bliss that seemed eternal. The two spent great time together, until she had to come back to the great big city of Osrona.

- "People
- the world changes 'round and 'round.
- Nobody can stop it
- yet somethings can.
- The world of suffering is great
- and it grows and shrinks each day
- the power within each of us grows each moment we suffer.
- The suffering bringing us to freedom
- the freedom we all need.
- To thrive.
- To survive.
- To conquer."
- Something people need every day. A little motivation, something every could use. Even if their happy, best person to be around, they aren't always what they seem to be on the outside. Even they have the struggle to show that will to survive. To thrive. To conquer.

- [20:18] Seneca's gaze never wavered as they rendered there fulll focus to the music in the air. Hearing the pain and sorrow of a young child's life being torn asunder by the sweeping rages of war and chaos.
- It was painful to hear, painful more to experience as indeed that was how it felt. A dampness clouded those violet hues. Seeming to strike a chord in the empathic drakanite. It wasn't right what had happened to them.
- Perhaps, there was something that felt familiar to the cadet. He never allowed his efforts to improve the people's lives dissuade his smile. After all what use was a protector who appeared already resigned to the sufferings of the world around them?
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:21] The days of being back in Osrona were just like the old days, except the battle and threat of death leaning over each of them were less intense, thought still there.
- Her life was nearly perfect for a girl like her. A child with little needs and lots of love to give. Love given to her parents, soon to be taken from her without a reason. A reason that isn't given for years after that.
- Then, one night -- a man arrives at the door of Nikara and Kelly's house, while Lorelai was asleep. She didn't even know her parents were gone, gone for good, but they were. But, that man's name was Rain Multhunder. The man who saved her from death. He showed her Nikara's wedding ring, and the tired Lorelai would let Rain carry her away. Away to safety. Away to a home.
- The words that Nikara told him would reflect on him after that. The words that stuck in his head for eternity. The ability to make somebody happy.
- 'Don't let her grow up like me. Make her something useful to this world. Not like me. Not like Kelly. Something special. Something we need in this world. Not filth like us. I know you can do that -- Rain. That's why I trust you.'
- Those words still linger over him each day, wondering if he did the right thing by bringing her in.
- Thought, he sure as hell tried to be to the best of his abilities. He gave her a day. One of the most important things a little girl like Lorelai needs to grow up, actually, any child for that fact. The only thing missing was a motherly figure, but she worked without that. To make up for that, she got a loving family. A family she considered blood, to fill the gap of missing parents and all of that stuff.
- A sudden gap in the sonata occurs -- a gap of one key. One key of sadness. Over and over. Like a heartbeat. Thump thump thump.
- The lies -- the illusions -- the forgiveness. The learning of her parents death. It was hard.
- "Each world -- changing in motion.
- It gives beauty to this world.
- Something everybody needs
- a family
- a parental figure
- love
- compassion
- and friends.
- Something all of us
- should have.
- The power of voice
- is something of a dream
- yet it isn't.
- Words are powerful
- we all use them
- so why not give them a try?"
- The voice of a pure angel. Where did it come from? Such a girl like Lorelai, nobody would of thought that voice would of came from her. The passion glows brightly in her soul. The soul of a warrior. The soul that never gives up when faced a challenge.
- The challenge to live. The ability to grow in strength, never give up and surrender. Something to shape lives, families, communities even. The strength to do ANYTHING. That's what people need.
- That will to do anything. The strength to evolve. The strength to be human is withinall of us.
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:41] It was something to listen to the music, hearing the story of Lorelai. At-least that is what he assumed was being told. As it resonated to deeply in his ears.
- His hearing could pick up aspects of human's vocal ranges others couldn't. It gave a unique outlook on those who were around him. Now though? They almost wished they'd a less keen sense of sounds.
- Silently they awaited the song's continuation or perhaps it's end. It felt as if it were telling a story that he had to know. The story that so many of those born to Osrona in the modern age faced.
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:44] Seeds of live -- love and passion start to stream down the sides of Lorelai's face.
- The tears that brought to be the person she is right now. The people in the background -- supporters. To the person who tried to kill herself two times.
- The person who lived through hardship and family swapping and death.
- The power of love flows through the music near the end -- the power of a certain person. The feeling of a cold winter gust -- surrounding a burning, yet weak flame emits in each and every person -- something familiar to Sum. A feeling that opens them up. Warms them. It brings them tranquility.
- The person who will be with Sum for the rest of their lives.
- Lorelai. The one.
- "To the one person
- who warms my heart
- who brings tranquility to my soul.
- Who soothes the demons in my head
- and the ones around me.
- The one who filled the gap
- of love
- that everyone needs.
- It's her.
- Yes, her.
- The winter surrounding the warm flame.
- The one who froze the magma heart just enough
- to embrace it
- to love it
- to be with it, forever.
- Sum."
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:49] Now that was touching, tying the song together with a human connection?
- Those lips spread back as they revealed there shiny ivory teeth. Eye's still damp with emotion as they brought there hands together. Softly bringing it together softly. No, sound was made just in case. They didn't know if it was the end but it felt like it.
- It felt good, complete.
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:51] The few last keystrokes would finish with an adrupt end to the sonata. The end of the recorded life of Lorelai.
- Only time will tell how much more will be added to her life, and how much will be taken away.
- The power of her piano was evident, even thought she still was quite new to it. But her music had power to it. The power to rock hearts, break minds and change people.
- "I got one more -- if you'd like to...hear?
- It's -- brand new, so the first person to hear it other than me and Sum would be you."
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:52] Seneca brought a hand to cup there chin, thinking about that for a few moments. Then, with a little nod they waved that hand towards Lorelai.
- "By all means. Play your new song... So long as it isn't as sad as the last."
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:53] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "You can sing with it if you'd like -- I don't have anything for it."
- [20:53] Lorelai would lean forwards towards the piano once more, as she cracks her knuckles. She wipes the tears that dripped down onto the piano off and the ones lying idle on her face as she gets ready to start.
- "And no, I don't really think it's sad."
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:54] Seneca says, "Then by all means."
- [20:54] Seneca says, "Also, sadly I only knew the one song."
- [20:55] A nod comes from Lorelai as her fingers gracefully slide across the keys once more, the passion still visible, yet not as through as the first song. The song seemed to have some sort of connection to her, and that was clear with Seneca's reaction.

- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:02] Now this was much more upbeat almost catchy in a way the other one was haunting. He should have kept his previous song for this one.
- "Ah, what kind of song do you have planned for this one?"
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:03] Lorelai would finish the song as she turns towards Seneca.
- "Not really sure.
- That song is harder to perform than the last one, but I'm not sure. Not sad like my first one.
- That one is literally my life, so yeah."
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:05] Seneca's head bobbed softly as they looked towards Lorelai. "Yes, I could tell that. It was... Haunting, yet inspiring in a lot of ways."
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:06] Seneca asks, "Will you become a musician for the city? Like Priscilla or Melody was in the past?"
- [21:06] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "Melody taught me."
- [21:06] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "She's my aunt -- technically."
- [21:06] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "Mom and her were best friends."
- [21:09] Seneca says, "Oooh, well isn't that something."
- [21:09] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "Mmhmm."
- [21:09] Seneca asks, "I will say, you and Sum sound happy together. Are you worried of her desire to fight for the poeple?"
- [21:10] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "She doesn't have that desire, thought."
- [21:10] Seneca says, "She spoke to me about training."
- [21:10] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "Yup. She loves people but protects, not attacks."
- [21:11] Seneca says, "The city needs it's defenders."
- [21:11] A soft smile grows on her face as a red hue also grows.
- "...She's done that a lot for me, protect me."
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)

- [21:11] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
- [21:11] Seneca says, "D'aw, that's adorable."
- [21:12] Lorelai pulls her head into her cloak, leaving only her ears exposed.
- "nnn...."
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:14] That hand, rose once more to cover his face. Chuckling softly behind it as he watched the kitsune's shyness taking charge.
- "Oh, pardon me. I didn't mean to embarrass you so."
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:14] Lorelai M. Kirk says, "....I-It's fine..."
- [21:15] Seneca says, "Ah, that's still adorable."
- [21:16] Lorelai M. Kirk says, ".....nnnnnnnnnnnn."
- [21:17] Seneca rose from his chair, striding over to place a hand upon Lorelai's noggin. Tousling there hair playfully.
- "Don't worry, I'll keep Sum safe for you. She'll be taught all she needs to protect those she loves. Like you."
- With that the smiling dragon stepped back. Looking around the room thoughtfully. Before turning back to Lorelai. "I am scheduled for a patrol with some of my cohorts but I have truly enjoyed your companionship. Thank you for hosting me this eve."
- (Seneca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:20] Hearing those words slip out of Seneca's mouth, a smile grows on her face as she turns to her side and hugs them tightly.
- "P-Please keep her safe....
- ..I c-can't loose her...
- p-please..."
- Welp, that turned sad quickly.
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:20] Seneca says, "Of course, I'll see to it on my life's breath."
- [21:21] Seneca says, "Now, farewell Lorelai may your music uplift the Kingdom."
- [21:22] Lorelai's head perks around from her cloak, as she nods quickly.
- "T-Thank you...
- a-a lot..."
- (Lorelai M. Kirk)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:23] Seneca's grin only seemed to brighten a little, before he strolled away. Leaving the musician to her thoughts. It was clear that the man meant every word he'd said.
