  2. does bloodite like practice all the ironmans before he plays or something
  3. speedruns all the maps, learns all the routes
  4. it's pure bullshit to get through BTSX in 2:52 unless you've practiced the maps

  7. ironman's have basically been normal times for survival
  8. bunch of deaths and krypto doing everything 2x quicker than the rest

  11. bloodite's obviously using re-record or something, I didn't want to say anything because I don't want to sound ... mad or whatever, but you don't go through 5 wads without taking a couple of 80 damage rev rockets in a row once in a while and get fucked over
  12. then again I haven't watched a single one of his runs

  15. I don't care that much, it's for fun but 2:52:00 I've done some speedrunning for BTSX
  16. and im sure I could get quicker than whatever I had planned but regardless
  17. UAC ultra was speedrun times
  18. BTSX was speedrun times essentially

  21. oh lol, he made it through btsx as well? make it 6 wads then

  24. I just don't see it as possible to go through that many maps without getting a bit unlucky at some point

  27. it's even easier to use re-record, until I see a stream I'm not convinced.. it's not all about being good, at some point you will get screwed over by bad damage rolls or some really bad monster position, I just can't imagine him avoiding that for 6 wads straight

  30. I could understand doing 6 wads in a row, but speedrunning 6 wads in a row is much harder

  33. I don't doubt he has both played the wads plenty and is really good at doom, but it's just so unlikely to go through 6 wads without getting screwed over and that a simple re-record at some point could easily have happened(edited)

  36. not really too much cheating accusations besides me finding it more likely that bloodite uses re-record than being incredibly lucky and good at doom.. you can find it in the ironman thread in wads section

  39. we were just questioning his supreme survival skills because we are all a bunch of jealous fucks
  40. I gotta get the new version of disjunction
  41. with a less bad map 4

  44. I remember watching krypto stream his playthrough of oku-map, the dude is bamboozalingly good at doom. +1 on 2:52 not being unreasonable with pre-planning. I have no doubts he could do it in a single go, but definitely have to be skeptical that this was his first and only attempt at recording
  45. really the only competitive form of fda-style dooming is the russian FDC stuff, unknown wad, your time is based on when demo is turned in, not just in-game time. everything else has to be considered "for funsies" by virtue of relying so heavily on an honor system
