Anna Kosiage's Death. Algar's Outrage about Kali's power

The sound of Fafnir's cracking knuckles resounded through the market place. He was pretty sure she just insulted him. In fact, he was positive she just insulted both of the Nivis again. The building rage of the dwarf only rose as the sound of grinding teeth echoed under his draconic helmet.

Why is it that everyone else largely understood him but she did not? Did she not understand who he was? Does that woman understand exactly who she just tried to snub and consequentially infuriate? The cracking sound only grew louder as the dwarf slammed a fist into his chest, beginning his boast.

"Swatch, wench, ye ur 'spikin tae me, Fafnir, ay clan Svartdvergr, ay hoose Stoneborn. Son ay Hriedmar, son ay Gleem, son ay Gløn. Anguis ay th' Nivis an' laird ay Vitani Manur. Born ay th' purest ay bloodlines. Ah am th' heir tae th' Fragon. Th' power is mine tae seize. Sae, watch yer tain afair Ah fix it wi' mah fists."

As usual, the boasts went on for some time as he spoke to the older woman. Cold day in Atmos that he was going to let her just get away with this. Of course, he felt it rude to not introduce himself before brutalizing someone. It was only good manners to let someone know who they should fear first!

YEEEEP. Someone had ticked Kali off. "If you must know my mask is to protect my face from people like you---who are unworthy of seeing my face. It is also a sign of my station as a Pursuer of the Church of Insight. A hunter of demons and depraved monstriousities to keep places like this safe and secure. It is all in all; a sign of not only my religion; but also that I am BETTER THAN YOU." It was peopel like this that burned up Kali. Weaklings who acted as if they were exalted and had not the power to back it up. A little known fact about Kali?

She was one of the richest women in Frostvale. Rarely did she buy luxuries, outside repairs to her weapons and armor; and things such as toys for her children. Her Jain salary; being how militant Frostvale was and her husband's five-star chef salary made the two able to afford virtually anything they or their children desired. "It's people like you that really catch my ire. You think yourself so high and mighty but you've done nothing. People like me who bust our asses, Fafnir; Vareline. You disrespect us, you disrespect the law.

Let me inform you something, miss. Out of all the non-Drakanite family's in Frostvale that and accumulated mass amounts of wealth in a short time. Guess which one is the wealthiest? If money and status means so much to you; coming face to face with the richest non-Drakanite woman in Frostvale should feel like a priviledge. But no, you don't even deserve to breathe the air I breathe. To walk the cobblestone streets I walk. To speak to the people I speak to. You've done nothing with your life, besides perhaps; lived in entitlement unjust to have."

And soon Kali would step closer to the woman, Her pink-red eyes glaring at Olivia in sheer disgust.With a raise of her fist upward, she'd simply chuckle. The fist swung fully toward Olivia with no intent on holding back. A fist that had the strength to break the ribs of Non-magi on impact, and likely cause internal bleeding from the sheer force; aimed to ram straight into this snobby woman's gut. "FROSTVALE IS A VILLAGE OF WARRIORS. And if there is ANYONE who deserves to walk around cocky, it's the warriors of the Draco Nivis. If there is one thing a Draco Nivis will never forget, it's their Pride! Their pride in serving, protecting and keeping these streets clean of FILTH LIKE YOU!" Kali's arms both twitched.

If her fist wasn't strong enough to send the other woman flying into the market stall behind her and knock her out from the shock; she'd simply snarl. "I am Jain Servatus Kali Asura, the White One, the Indomitable; the Bloody. You walk on these streets me and my fellow Nivis slave over to protect one more time with that undeserved self-righteousness and I will not hesitate to put your pathetic life out of it's misery."

Anna lost her tongue in a fight long ago but she was healed now and thought it was time to come back she couldn't speak but she didn't need words for this as she would run at Kali with her sword out aiming to slash her head on, she didn't know if she could win as fire would come out from her sword, this was going to end in blood with Anna or Kali herself.

Anna was ready this time to fight her and she was not going to walk away this time. As she would use her full power with her body giving of a powerful flames that could burn anything.

Fuck the what?

If Kali wasn't fully covered in platemail besides her face, and her horns weren't literally stronger than the vast majority of metals that your common blacksmith could provide; she might have been in trouble. However as the sword blade came toward her face; Kali only pivoted her head so that her horn clashed with the blade; chiming the air as if it was made out of metal itself.

"Oh. It's you." It was the blue haired woman who kept slandering the Jain when all she wanted was to give the woman time to rest and recoperate, only for her to piss Kali off and cause the horned woman to forgo kindness in favor of order. It was something a lot of Frostvale seemed to lack. "Vareline, Fafnir. Take care of this other woman while I tend to the Kosigona's grudge against me."

And with that' Kali's hand motioned toward the Giant Badass Anime Sword upon her back, pulling out the massive chunk of bladed metal and slamming it upon the ground. If she was to attack Kali head on like this in public; clearly aiming to lop her head off with the way she swung that sword; well then Kali wasn't going to hesitate in her attacks at all.

Anna knew what the out come could be but letting this woman get away with making her tongue being cut of made her mad as she would move her body back and keep attacking with her sword she would even use her wind magic to make her fire stronger, she was a mastered in many arts, Anna would make trees grow from the ground it shown Anna didn't care what happen around here right now.

She was ready to fight this girl and end it all with her.

Kara watched all this happen. She didn't know the Kosigona, but she'd seen Kali act well in regards to the Ookami being racist to Drakanites. She trusted the Neries to do the honorable thing. So, she watched as the Kosigona and Kali The White fight it out.

Katai would walk outside after getting well needed rest. He had fallen asleep at the table after hearing a few people talk to him. He had been dosing off for the past few hours before finnally falling asleep, a little rude to those he had been there with meaning Kara and some other person. It was weird, noises were coming from the streets of Frostvale. He would rush to the marketplace to see that one lady Anna, fighting Kali in the middle of Frostvale... this was not going to go well.

Kali didn't even attempt to make it look like she was trying. Infact, the amount of Spell-Casting that Anna did; how Kali simply walled and didn't care for any of the spells slung at her was prove of just how crazy-strong she was compared to your average person. Anna was far to oweak to even leave any form of impact on Kali; sure some of her attacks might have hit hard enough for the rock-sturdy woman to budge ever so slgihtly, but it didn't stop her from walking around as Anna attempted to simply rub circles around.

"Really. So you planned to publically assassinate me and then just run away because THIS is how strong you are? I am disappointed." Kali's words were cold and uncaring. It would ahve actually been cute if this little assassin was strong enough to hurt her in upfront combat; but she wasn't, at most Kali felt a faint tingling sensation from the heated attacks; if she felt anything at all.

"You really are a waste of life. Attempting to assassinate the Jain in public because you cannot do it upfront in an honorable fight. I gave you mercies for your slander, mercies for wishing to cause a jail break and riot to free criminals. Hell I even gave you the mercy to choose to live after attempting; and stopping from commiting suicide in public. But maybe this is the way you want to go out?" She paused as she stopped before Anna. A kick was given to the woman who had been downed by the blade's attacks.

"Get up. I'm not ready to kill you just yet."

Anna knew who she was fighting and knew that the level to them where not near each other but all she could do is smile, she did wish to do something and taking this girl on was something her family was gone and it was time for her to put all on the line as she was kicked she would put her sword into the ground pushing herself up as she looked at Kali.

She would make the wind blow around her this time fire was not doing it so lets try wind, Anna would think she couldn't speak but all you could see on Anna's face was a smile.

As Algar rested in the town center with his sister. He watched two woman go at it fiercely as the two of them just stood there in silence. He jst didn't know what to think of this situation. Was it reall right for two grown people just about to duke it out with real swords and weapons.

His eyes grew wide as he watched the two go at it. Flames erupting, the winds kicking up, it was just insane to him. He knew that he had no say in this confrontation as the one who once had threatened to kill him and send someone to beat him down into a bloody mess was the one fighting a woman that he had never seen before in his life. But he could tell that Kali was winning due to the lack panting from her and she showed to have no wounds compared to the other woman. The other woman was basically destroyed in the fight.

Algar knew that this would come out in no good end. He then looked around frantically, hoping that someone would come out and interevene this mess. . .

Kara watched as the fight happened and ended quickly, with Kali being the victor. She prayed to Ryujiin and to Kraus that the woman who attacked Kali would be judged well and not die. Not everyone deserved...and George Hall's disappearance did happen after some strong words with Kali in public, that she rememebered. She hoped Kali didn't kill him or would kill this woman.

Well that was slightly amusing. Seeing as she stood there a good deal to let Anna's attacks burn her and cut at her armor with the wind. But with her natural sturdy skin; her armor made of some of the strongest Mithril-steel alloys you could find in Frostvale, and with her white veil around her form covering her body; the young woman barely felt anything; and likely could have out-lasted Anna's mana before deating her.

But this got old quick, as the woman was quick to pivot around with an etheric orb of all the mana that had impacted her body throughout the conflict; it was pure white in coloration; showing no alignment towar dany agic or any user, as Kali took stance, pulled up both hands, reared back her hand for the wind, up... AND THEN THE PITCH!

The orb of pure mana fired at a blazing speed that even as it flew it began to ripple apart; upon impact with Anna's body; the mana would explode, what hit her body would begin to eat at her body; as if causing her mana circuits to short out and force her to the ground. With that, Kali returned her sword to it's scabard, quickly approaching Anna only to crouch down next to her.

"Slander. Attempting to jail break, disrupting the peace of public. assualt, attempted murder...Man. I really have no reason to not execute you; do I?" One of the daggers on Kali's belt; one's that had her name on the flat of the blade to prove she was their creator was flipped up into her hand. "You were foolish to ever believe you could stand up to me in such a way. You were foolish to not accept your punishment and live your life. Instead you continued to be defiant. Instead you continue to act like you had any right to GO AGAINST MY JUDGEMENT. I was merciful." The dagger was placed with it's tip against Anna's forehead, not enough pressure being applied yet to cut skin. "In my homeland? Slander and Insubordination together is an immediate punishment of Execution."

She pulled the dagger blade back. "Turn away the eyes of children. Anyone who dares intervene in this punishment will have the same judgement casted on them for protecting someone who attemtped murder." And with that, Kali stood up, flickering her dagger in her hand.

The weapon was caught by the blades between her fingers; almost as if she was expecting someone, anyone to stop her. But after a few seconds? That blade was flipped from her fingers, a force that would be enough to pierce her chest and stab straight into her heart. From there, Kali would only step on the hilt of the small bladed weapon to make sure it fully penetrated the organ beneath the surface, causing life to end in almost an instant. It would only hurt for a few seconds before it was lights out.

A public execution involving showcasing Kali's baseball skills; how about that?

Kara heard Kali's words and covered her little Brother's eyes. She herself closed her eyes and didn't watch. Kara was vowed to safeguard life; that was her duty as a Cosmic Knight recruit. Yet here, a woman was executed before her and the woman was guilty of her crimes and was deserving of it, so she couldn't intervene and wouldn't.

When she was older and alot stronger, she would become powerful enough to safeguard the lives of everyone around her.

Anna would keep attacking her but it was no use this girl was on a level above Anna and it was annoying but she would stop as she would use every magic she has learned to this point to fight all but darkness and earth. But as this was happening the girl would use a weird attack that would make her unable to use her mana falling to the floor as she would watch her walk over to her.

Anna would feel something on her head she couldn't say a word without her tongue but she had a smile on her face for some reason she was scared of the out come but she could accpeted it as she would watch her pull it away telling the kids to look away she didn't think this girl was bad but Anna couldn't let her off for burning her tongue off like she did.


Anna would feel the blade go into her with her eye's opening in shock she would look up with tears in her eye's not because she was dying but it has been a good life as she would finally died as Kali put her feet into the dagger making kill Anna her body becoming life less falling onto the floor dead.

Algar would watch as Kali had cocked back her arm and threw an orbish like ball towards the fallen girl and watched as her body started to eat away at itself. His eyes grew in shock as he never had imagined something like this before.

The only thing that rang out throughout his ears was the word "JUDGEMENT" as soon his eyes were covered by his sisters hand. But it was to late. He watched as the wordless woman fell to her knees. At the mercy of Kali the White.

Soon he would here the sound of something thick being impaled by a weapon of choice. He couldn't tell but it seemed as everything else had zoned out and he could only seem to here the conflict that was going on between the two.

The worsening part is the sound of of a body pounding against the floor and going still.

Algar didn't need to physically see it. He mentally saw it, and it was probably much more worse than what had actually happened. He never thought that such a thing would occur and not a single soul would step out and prevent such an action. Did the grownups around have no soul and let kids. . . Children! Watch such an action? It was horrible. But atleast he was thankful that his sister had close his eyes. He didn't know what he would do if he were to see such an action come through. Yet soon, there was a little space between her fingers where his eyes had found and he peaked through. Seeing what had occured.

Seeing a the hilt of a weapon prutrudged out from the womans skull as she had laid lifeless on the ground. The scene was gruesome and he thought that only a monster could do such a thing.

But then again, this was the way the world worked. . .

Why were they fighting and what was it for? He would open is mouth with one hand next to it trying to shout "Hey what are you doing sto---" he was cut off from what he Witnessed... A dagger peirced through the heart of another before watching Kali step on the hilt of the blade as it went in even further. He stood there as his heart stopped watching as everything happened. His arm still in pain after beinig fractured in two places had little to no effect to him at this moment.

He felt his legs begin to wobble as he stood in place. He dropped to his knees quickly, he couldn't even look away no matter how hard he tried. His heart was racing and he had no idea what to do, he was in shock... any child would be at this point. And for some reason no one covered his eyes... this would surely scar the kindhearted boy, death was one thing he did not wish to witness, no matter who the person was dying, he was simply not ready for it... and most likely never will be.

"K-K... K-Kali?" was all that would leave his mouth as he stared directly at her, confused by her actions.

 A hand flickered toward a number of random NPC guards. "Cover it, move it, bury it." Obiviously talking about the corpse once she pulled out the dagger from the heart of the woman she just publically executed. A cloth was pulled from her waistbelt, rubbed against the blade to get the blood off, than simply sheathed underneath her cloak once more.

With a look at the crowd, Kali simply thought it was completely fine what she did. "When someone tries to kill you in public and you kill then in self-defense and because they have proven to be criminally unstable before; it should not come to a surprise." With that said, Kali aimed to simply aimed to go to her family home. She had infant twins to deal with after all. not this mess. The other Nivis could clean up the corpse. What she did was Justice. Simple as that.

Kara's eyes were closed when the dagger embedded itself through Anna's heart. She then heard the corpse strike the hard ground. Kara slowly opened her eyes. She had tried to cover Katai's eyes with her other hand, but had been a little too slow, a little too late.

Ryujiin, I vow this day to become the strongest Drakanite in my clan to safeguard life and keep others from killing each other; to be stronger than my Father, Kara thought to herself. Her Father was a Healer; a vowed safeguarder of life. She now understood more than ever that her Father's protecting of life and treasuring life was sacred if not important.

While she wasn't a minded healer, she would do her best to become strong to make certain people couldn't kill each other any more.

Self-defence, so she was protecting herself, by killing her? Everything went so fast, it was too much for the child. He slowly got back to his feet after seeing what happened and looked Kali in her eyes as he walked up to her. "W-why... why did you... you just... sh-she... you...but" was all that he could say. It was extremely hard for him to even make simple words so that he could speak properly.

He had fought for his life on a few occasions but never witnessed someone die right in front of him, it was nightmare inducing. With the fact that he couldn't even make out a word to even speak she might just walk passed him. It was understandable seeing how he didn't really ask a question for her to answer due to shock, he would appearently have to suck it up and get over it...sometime.

Oh, what with the man crouched before his hearth -- doing something that he could not tell anyone, a deep secret that must be kept for years upon years.. Percival was legitimately busy for once! But.. The simple knock at his door;t he Whitefall glancing towards it, and the.. Bothered, lady -- telling him of what was going on; he had to get down to the square immediately, apparently.

Of course, his dash is quite quick -- and once he's there, he'd have even passed the body that was being taken away and things of that sort; so, the Adain moves forth, and, he stops a few feet away from Katai; but eve more from Kali as he stares. With a frustrated look --a  frustrated tone, the superior officer; the prince speaks up.

"What is going on -- why did I just see a dead body in my city?"

Kara was taken aback. Here was the Prince; the tall and dashing Prince, the perfect Drakanite, here in the city and scolding Kali. Kara hugged and held onto her younger Brother and would watch. Was Justice truly done here? She got that the Draco Nivis was acting in self defense, but if she was that strong, she could have ended it without killing the woman...the Kosigona.

Kali the White: When she tried to chop my head off randomly I gave her her just deserves.
Kali the White: Now if you don't mind I have a headache from people staring at me in shock for executing a criminal.
Katai Nagano-Valco: -continues to stare in shock-
Kali the White: A stab through the heart, quick and easy. I even told children to look away and adults to hide the eyes of children.
Algar Draconis: -stares at Kali and Katai-
Katai Nagano-Valco: ...you killed her...
Kali the White: It's a dog-eat-dog world. She tried to kill me after commiting several crimes previously.
Katai Nagano-Valco: b-but...
Kali the White: You defy the law you get punishment as the law dictates.
Kali the White: I am not out to get anyone. I do not have bias toward anyone.
Kali the White: Be it negative or positive.
Kali the White: I am simply a soldier, a warrior; a guard and a sentinel of Justice.
Kali the White: Personal morals that are unwritten do not matter to me, only what is written in the lawbooks. And even then I have shown her several mercies in the past.
Kali the White: <*Has NPC guards shoo away the body and bury it b/c I am not in the mood to like; redtext at all]
Algar Draconis: -walks over to his uncle and whispers in his ear before walking away- It just shows how ugly people can be
