KH3 File Extraction Tutorial

Hey you!
Yeah, the guy wondering how to unpack his KH3 files.
Sit down and bend an ear, I'm going to teach you how to do it.

===HOW TO EXTRACT ALL FILES AT ONCE===

You're going to need two things:
Quickbms (http://aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.htm)
This particular file (https://www.mediafire.com/file/55gp745452s5bi9/KingdomHearts3_PAK_File_Extractor.bms/file)

Launch Quickbms. It's going to ask you to select a .bms file to continue. Just use the one linked above.
After choosing the .bms file, another window will launch.
Navigate to your "paks" folder (\Kingdom Hearts III and Re Mind\KINGDOM HEARTS III\Content\Paks) and select all the .pak files within (https://i.imgur.com/1hca20r.jpg).
It will then ask you to select a place to save the new files to.
Make sure you have ~70 gigs free on whatever drive you choose to extract the files to.
After that, sit back and watch it go!

It might take anywhere from twenty minutes to several hours to extract the files, it all depends on your computer specs.


===HOW TO EXTRACT INDIVIDUAL FILES===

You're going to need two things:
Umodel (https://www.gildor.org/en/projects/umodel)
The AES key (o9Gty60nWTc2OIkbN3lWQ81u6t7W6uUYGvz9fSb2Vpa5SD735c8bsOaTeE2MFJw3)

Launch Umodel and make sure the settings look just like this (https://i.imgur.com/mERQRXc.jpg), with the only difference being your particular installation path for KH3.
Click OK and a new window will open. Past the AES key (see above) and hit OK.
Umodel will then open all the pak files and allow you to look inside.

When you find the content you want to extract, right click on the folder containing it.
You now have two options: "Export folder content" and "Save folder packages".
You're going to want to select the export option. (If it fails, try again with saving the packages.)
When you select the export option, you'll be presented with another window.
Make sure the settings look like this (https://i.imgur.com/3HFTsDr.jpg) and press OK.
After that, sit back and watch it go!
