  1. [01:23] Chaaca smiled as he set his staff down onto the grass next to him, as he pulled out his fishing rod from his bag, which was quickly followed by his musical journal. He'd toss his cape onto the ground next to his staff, as he slowly lowered himself to the ground. "Right... Let's see where I was last." He'd mumble to himself, as he flipped through the pages of his journal.
  2.
  3. After a few moments of flipping through the pages, Chaaca had arrived at his most recent work. "The Khans of Gehenna." He'd scratch his chin, as his eyes darted across the journal. Seems like he was just about done with it, all the ideas for the music to accompany the lyrics were down, but he had yet to actually attempt the song.
  4.
  5. Chaaca glanced over at Chroma, as he watched his friend meditate for a moment, before shrugging. Artaggh had always managed to meditate through all of his noise, so surely Chroma would be able to do the same. If not? Well it was gonna be pretty awkward in a few moments when Chaaca started playing his song.
  6.
  7. It was at that moment he realized something. The poor sirenian didn't possess any of the instruments necessary to actually play the song... Nor could he play all of them at once.
  8.
  9. "Fuck me, guess I'm gonna have to figure out something..."
  10.
  11. (Chaaca Khan)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [01:23] Walking up to the waterfalls, the Paladin would take a deep breath as he looked upon the majestic hail of oceanic springs fall to the machinations of gravity. Thinking back to his recent funk, and how he suspected some things of other members within his Legion of scandalous acts--he'd let it all go.
  15.
  16. Sitting at the Plymouth of the falls, he sat down in a criss-cross fashion, feeling the soft razors of the grass beneath him bow and fold beneath his mortal weight. Taking out the book he'd gathered about the subject; "A Journey Into the Spiritual" he would flip to the instructed way to meditate in order to net the greatest results.
  17.
  18. "In order to find the spirit, the body must be hardened...." His eyes scanned, closing them he readied himself for the void of thought. Summoning his Energy Aura around himself. Wrapping his form in a swath of condensed and raw energy.
  19.
  20. Taking it a step further, his light would emboss, becoming thicker asarcs of plasma-like cobalt crackled off of him and he refined the consistency of it, becoming a vibrant extra limb that could re-forge his others.
  21.
  22. His Super Magi had kept him at the pinnacle of humanity's vigor...however he sought something deeper--all those years ago, as he'd seen Gabriel perform when he shattered his mana circuits. He wished to reach that.....semblance, his serenity in battle was completely in tune with his ferocity..his power allowed him to project in each swing..seeming larger than he actually was.
  23. (Chroma Zanders)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [01:31] Chaaca sat in silence as his mind began to race. How the hell was he going to get all the instruments he needed? Odds are someone probably sold them, but he didn't know who! Nor did he actually have the money to afford all the instruments that he needed. He'd let out an annoyed. "HM.." As he struggled to come up with ideas.
  27.
  28. Well, that wasn't entirely true. He had a couple of ideas, it's just that most of them were bad. In theory he could just play an instrument, and use his sound magic to alter the sound coming from it, to make it sound like he was playing multiple instruments. That was something he had done frequently in the past, but that was only a short term solution. Now was the time to sort out a long term solution.
  29.
  30. What that was? He couldn't tell you, but by Yama was he going to figure it out. The smile that was present on his face early, was now replaced with a frown, as asingle question plagued at his mind.
  31.
  32. What in Yama's name did he need to create?
  33. (Chaaca Khan)
  34. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  35.
  36. [01:33] Drowning out Chaaca's own progress, the first step that was required was to melt--to freely float above his physical form as he knew it, and soar beyond it. Having a bit of trouble at first due to the presence of another he'd understand that it only added to the feat of pulling off a completely flawless meditation that much more impressive.
  37.
  38. "Then simply..in complete idiosyncratic harmony, one must 'get up'. Leaving behind the mortal form, and allowing a semblance of self to traverse through the use of heightened energy manipulation or spiritmancy to explore.--" He'd recall the words of the text ringing throughout his body, focusing on but a single natural sound around him, the rushing of the waterfall, he'd feel a deep drowsiness befall him, and yet the energy around him did not die out.
  39.
  40. Seeping in was a absolution of even the darkness within his closed eyes...he'd sink deeper and deeper until--He opened his eyes.
  41.
  42. Looking around the world was a lighter vibrancy, the hue of the world seemed softer, fuzzy even. He'd go on to stand up finding that as he looked down, he could still see himself seated.
  43.
  44. The raw flame around him would shift in viscosity, creeping closer to his body in an encasing, and transform from a shroud, into a drape. The energy's color would go from a deep cobalt, to a subtle teal perhaps signaling that he was traipsing the realm beyond...the real unknown.
  45. (Chroma Zanders)
  46. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  47.
  48. [01:43] Ideas quickly began to race through the young Sirenian's mind. What if he created an omni-instrument? It could possess the strings from a string instrument, some drums could be attached to it, and at the end so-... No that was an awful idea, probably one of the worst idea's he's ever had. Chaaca bit the bottom of his lip, as he stared out at the ocean. Frustration was beginning to kick in.
  49.
  50. Chaaca took a deep breathe, as he set his journal down for a moment. What he needed to do right now, was calm down and focus. His mind was all over the place right now, and that wasn't doing him any good right now. Maybe Chroma was doing better? He'd glance over at his paladin buddy to see his progress. Well he was still meditating, so that clearly meant he was doing good right? Well, he couldn't let his friend get too far ahead of him.
  51.
  52. Maybe he needed to meditate? Chaaca scratched his chin as he pondered the thought. He noddedto himself. Yea maybe entering a state of calm would let him figure out the solution that he needed. Slowly but surely, Chaaca closed his eyes, as he did his best to relax.
  53.
  54. Calm, he just needed to relax and be calm, then he'd be able to figure it out, right?
  55. (Chaaca Khan)
  56. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  57.
  58. [01:45] Feeling a sense of security, despite -seeing- himself on the ground. His form would lift, gliding upwards in this world, as he felt the freedom of gravity magic perhaps, but without even his own magical exertion. He would get so far though, but then feel an elastic tug as if he was on a sort of bungie cord.
  59.
  60. Springing far, he'd be pulled back further. Landing back down next to himself, he was completely within the water's flow without disturbing it but he'd think on this as he lay meditating now in both physical and astral planes.
  61.
  62. Another section would come to his mind, "As with exercise, practice, and repetition with the spirit will strengthen it--but do take care not to over-exert before one is ready....to manipulate the world around requires effort and time...--"
  63.
  64. Feeling as though he'd been attuned enough to the magic of energy, and experienced enough with this type of risk factor, the Paladin continues forth, now standing up in this foreign plan as he'd look at his hand. Nigh transparent, as if he himself were a pale blue wraith, Chroma would opt to worry about it later.
  65.
  66. Taking his hand he concentrated. Putting his mind into making this limb tangible even here. A task that he'd take with the utmost urgency....
  67.
  68. His physical form would wrack with crackles of more energy sparkling around, as if his deeds were felt and shared due to the soul and body's connection.
  69. (Chroma Zanders)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [01:59] The thoughts that were once racing through his mind, slowly began to fade away. Good, he needed his mind emptied, so he could focus solely on his objective. No more overthinking things, he just needed to sort out one simple solution. Yea! What if...
  73.
  74. Chaaca wasn't sure why, but for whatever reason Chaaca's mind went to the strange orb thing that Chroma had floating around him, if he recalled correctly it was called the Midnight Heart. Why was he thinking about that of all things? Wait, it was a small orb that floated around Chroma, what if... Then it hit him.
  75.
  76. What if he created an orb of sound magic, one that could replicate the sound of any instrument, as well as being able to replicate the sound of multiple instruments at the same time, in some sort of wonderful harmony. It could work, right?
  77.
  78. Chaaca's eyes slowly opened up, as he glanced around him. Yea, the idea was simple enough to work. Good! He had his idea, now he just needed tofigure out how to create the damn thing.
  79. (Chaaca Khan)
  80. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  81.
  82. [01:59] Time would tick on, countless seconds would slip as he held his hand and did his damnedest to break this barrier and his limitations of what he understood about this world. With a final strike of energy colliding with the sea in front of his physical body, the transparency of the hand would shift more opaque and with a labored grunt he would bring it to the water.
  83.
  84. "N-no...dammit, I can do this...thoughts back together...I can pull this off." fell deafly.
  85.
  86. It was a trial to even move like this--being unattuned to this level of spiritual exertion his real body would exhibit some pain on it's face as he kept holding on to the calm of his meditation.
  87.
  88. Looking to his side as it seemed to fade--and nearly be sucked back into his body but his will would keep himself together. His mind's eye would only picture successfully interacting with the waterfall, and with his stubbornly dedicated nature he would refuse any other result.
  89.
  90. His fingers would pierce finally, after wadding over through the murkiness that his being had become and experienced as the water would begin to part.
  91.
  92. With a smile stretching "That's it..." would leak from his lips, though no sound would emit to the plane of the living anyways.
  93.
  94. Moving his hand in a sweeping motion, the physical would finally react to his motivation. The water spraying out after it, trailed signifying as he could oddly see the moisture on his body as if he'd touched it with his own hand--success. Though one that he still found so alien.
  95. (Chroma Zanders)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [02:06] Letting out a content sigh of exertion he'd expend his meditation after such careful practice and deliberation. Feeling his true eyes open, the Red Paladin looked around with a surprised and now relaxed expression as the energy around him would be swallowed back within his body.
  99.
  100. "HA!!! ...Ah.....ah.....Shit..." he'd let out wiping a bit of sweat that wasn't there from his head. He would have to learn more of spiritual awakenings, and try to utilize what he'd jut accomplished in more concise, and controlled ways.
  101.
  102. Getting up and stretching out, while glaring down at his wet hand, he'd shake it off and pat his bare chest with a triumphant chuckle. Looking over to Chaaca, he'd wonder how he'd done after all.
  103.
  104. "That was damned trippy...thanks for watching my body, I think? Well, either way...how'd yours go mnh?" the red haired Novice Mystician would inquire. His efforts would lead him to Gabriel, and perhaps even further beyond.
  105. (Chroma Zanders)
  106. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  107.
  108. [02:10] Chaaca smiled as he slowly returned to his feet. He'd have to figure out how to create the damn thing later, his brain was more than likely fried from all the thinking he's done! Chuckling a bit he'd reach down, grabbing his staff, and Cloak. Slowly putting his cloak back on, which he'd quickly follow by placing his staff onto his back.
  109.
  110. Then he glanced down at his fishing rod. Huh, he had brought the thing out, but he didn't do any actual fishing. Well, it was clearly time to right this wrong. With a smile on his face, he'd firmly grasp the rod, before tossing a line out into the ocean.
  111.
  112. He'd silently fish as he waited for Chroma to finish up his training... Though that didn't take nearly as long as he had thought, after catching one fish, Chroma had managed to sneak up on him.
  113.
  114. "For Yama's sake, try not to sneak up on me!" Chaaca chuckled as he put his fishing rod back into his bag. "And my training, if you can even call it that went well. I figured out something that'll help me out... So that's neat."
  115. (Chaaca Khan)
  116. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  117.
  118. [02:10] Chroma Zanders says, "Ah, I see...my bad."
