The Pursuit of Science (ChipFic)

>Lisa Loud was perplexed, she tapped her finger against her chin as her face scrunched up in deep thought
>Lulu had taken especially well to the newest member of the Loud house, the small asian girl was able to bond quickly with the baby, even exert some control over her, a feat only managed by a select few
>Lisa had been sure that Lulu would eat her newest sister, a fear partially justified by the fact that Lulu had previously eaten pets, and had attacked unfamiliar people that came over to visit
>The scientist turned around to face her niece, seated on a stool in the middle of Lisa's lab, holding Lulu in her lap
>It had been far too easy for Lisa to lure the small girl using her daughter as bait
>Bed was hooked up to various machines monitoring her brain waves and heartbeat and whatnot, and she looked slightly uncomfortable as she looked at her aunt with confusion
>Lisa scanned the various readings on displays with an irritated hum, everything appeared ordinary, aside from some evidence of malnutrition, the girl was completely normal and healthy
>Sighing to herself, Lisa reached into a nearby drawer and produced a syringe "I will need to take a blood sample"
>Bed visibly stiffened and looked at the needle with fear, Lulu turned in her lap and started poking her face as if to ask what was wrong
>As Lisa got closer Bed began to shake and her eyes started to water
>A loud crashing echoes through the lab as the reinforced door was knocked off its hinges
>Lisa turned to the source of the noise and felt her blood run cold
>Standing over the ruined door was Leni, looking furious
>The scientist quickly looked at the needle in her hand and hid it behind her back and gave a very nervous smile
>"Hello dear sister, I was just...uh...running some...tests...on..."
>Leni was towering over her now with uncharacteristic rage, and the smaller woman flinched as the angry mother's fist reared back
>"Dang it"
>Lisa awoke minutes later laying on the floor with Lulu bapping at her head
>"Fascinating" Lisa held up a tissue to her bloody nose
>"It appears that Leni has already developed a type of maternal sixth sense for her adopted daughter"
>"I will need to run some tests"
