- Day 6: Prayer Circles
- The windmill stopped suddenly, catapulting me forward into the empty sky. Fearing for my life, I began to tumble down towards the ground.
- That is, until I saw the same white circle flash before me, and making my vision go dark.
- As I open my eyes, I see spheres floating around me, almost bubble-like in nature. They were suspended in the air, the only movements they made being comparable to small twitches or nudges. I don't know if they're sentient, but their formations felt coordinated or planned. I soon had another question: what WERE these things?
- My curiosity got the better of me. I reached out to one of these bubbles and tried to grab it. As soon as I got my hands on one, the other bubbles around me started to move even more, as well as changing their color from the pleasant blue they had to a warmer yellow or green. Were they angry that I held one of them? That I ruined their order?
- I don't think so, because all they did was move smoother. Their twitchy and erratic movement turned into a peaceful floating as they drifted past me.
- I held the sphere in my hand. It felt soft and squishy, its blue color still remaining after the others changed their hue. It didn't do anything besides pulse with the same soft blue light I saw before. I have no clue why, but it gave me a feeling of comfort and safety. I kept a firm grasp on this bubble, my fingers sinking in slightly into it.
- All of a sudden, every single bubble, including the one in my possession, started cycling between multiple colors. I reflexively let go of the one in my hand, but it seemed that it was fine, as it simply floated in place after I lost my grip of it.
- I looked at the bubble I once held, its color change hypnotic. It slowly drifted away from me, following the rest of the bubbles in the direction opposite of where I was facing. Understanding the nature of these spheres, I bid it farewell and walked the other way, wondering what would lay ahead of me.
