Dungeon Siege 2 Multiplayer Instructions

1. get a copy of Dungeon Siege 2

2. Download the Broken World Killah Fix

3. Unzip and copy the contents of (2.) into your install folder.

4. Run "Reg Patch DSII.bat" as administrator, type "1" and close.

5. Download and run GameRanger: https://www.gameranger.com/

6. Inside GameRanger go to Edit - Options - Games - Dungeon Siege II: Broken World
 - Location - Browse...
go to your install folder and select DungeonSiege2.exe

7. File - Host Game, get your friends to join, and click Start

8. Select Multiplayer - Local Area Network - Host a game.
GameRanger will connect your friends to your LAN session only AFTER you host a game.
So host a game, leave and wait in lobby for them to connect.
Then host it again, and they should see it in the lobby list.

The first time you do this it will prompt to install DirectPlay for host and guests.
Say yes and let it finish patiently. This is essential for Win10/11 compatibility.
It will prompt for firewall exception each time you go into multiplayer,
I just say yes to be safe.

Congrats, you now have the expansion AND working LAN Multiplayer.
