Red Mist IACDS Part 1

It was an interesting day wasnt it? But what if... you suddenly found a dvd with japanese text written on it translating to "Spongebob and Mistifer Movie"



Intro

The DVD begins with a blank green screen, it was nothing until the 5th second when the trailer approval details appeared on screen. After 10 seconds, the screen cut to black following to the nickelodeon movies logo. At some moment the logo would suddenly cut to a dark forest with a red sky. Afterwards, the usual spongebob opening card with the words, "Mistifer" in white and a black background before fading to the opening credits. The opening credits didnt have any text in that part which made it pretty unusual.

Act 1 - The Beginning

After the Intro, we cut to the scene of Squidward's house with Squidward playing the clarinet. When cutting to his room with him, he heard someone ring his doorbell. Squidward began walking downstairs to see who was ringing till a suprise, It was no one. Squidward closed the door and walked back in disappointment before hearing a voice saying, "Mistifer is coming." Squidward paused in confusion, but ignored it. Squidward resumed playing his clarinet while afterwards, the scene zoomed in slowly on squidward's face.

Act 2 - Somethings not right...

As the scene zoomed in slowly, The image began to become less saturated and more darker. This went on for 1 - 2 minutes while the audio was fading along with the image until we cut to a grass hill scene which everything was colorless and the sky was dark. The scene did stay for 30 seconds in silence before static interrupts the scene and cuts to camera footage of the room you were in. It was not normal for a DVD or device to do that isnt it? The footage however was also colorless and would often glitch out sometimes since its low quality. The offsetting thing was, strange noises were playing in different areas.

Act 3 - The unknown itself

The footage was running for around 2 - 3 minutes before a slash sound effect interrupted the footage and cuts to black. There was an image of what appeared to be behind all of it fading in slowly. An image of a gortesque looking character that resembled squidward though their skin was purple, the "shirt" was grey and they were eyeless. Alongside that, familiar sounds, robotic/eerie voices,tree branch snapping and low-quality audio was playing in the background. The unknown creature appeared to be still in a black and white abandoned room and got darker as time moved along.

Act 4 - A suprise

After 2 Minutes, The image cuts to black for 10 seconds before heading to a distorted FBI warning screen. The text was barely recognizable as if the unknown one tries to communicate. But lasted for 20 seconds as we now head on to a sequence of japanese text.

MESSAGE SEQUENCE TRANSLATION

"welcome my new friend"

"isnt it nice to meet you"

"because after all you have fell for this trap"

"you never knew what they told you didnt they?"

"things are going to be different my friend"

After the text sequence, A low tone bell chime played as squidward's mutilated corpse appeared on screen, zooming out slowly. More japanese text appeared on top of it which translates to "suprise" and this scene lasted for 15 seconds which cuts to black and another low tone bell chime playing afterwards.

Act 5 - Unexpected ending

After cutting to black before the bell chime ended, it faded into squidward's abandoned room with red clouds and mist surrounding for 30 seconds before ghosts appeared around the room and few insects infesting the abandoned room. After 30 seconds however, a red screamer jumped out of nowhere and nearly destroyed your speakers. The screamer did cut to red static afterwards for 25 seconds before ending the disc. As the disc ended, your dvd player looked off as it only showed the no disc part.

Final Act - The end of the first part

You attempted to interact with the DVD player, but the thing wouldn't respond at all. It was no use, so waiting was the only thing. The strange noises heard from footage are now what you began to hear outside. You went to check but nothing happened, it was all normal... or was it? The unknown who named itself "mistifer" is standing in your area. As you were frightened, you slowly approached them till they started speaking out, "Looks like my new friend arrived in time." as they spoke, you paused. They continue their speaking,

"You cant hide now you know?"

"Because you are the perfect thing for me."

"This is going to be fun."

As they said those lines, you tried to wear it off. Thinking they were just a hallucination but they werent. Mistifer then disappears without a trace. You begin hearing a distorted version of a music box playing Amazing Grace from the TV as you ran back to the room you were in. It was the moment when you found out the DVD player had changed. The No-Disc text changed to "RESISTANCE CANNOT SAVE YOU NOW" which soon the screen began to glitch and deform into a face which resembled Mistifer's face.
