  1. Yo-kai Watch 3 speedrun route: by NerdyNyanmurai and Sugarshrek
  2.
  3. The original route is Nerdy’s, while I modified it
  4.
  5. General notes:
  6. Like other Yo-kai Watch games, skip all cutscenes and dialogue, mash if impossible
  7. In battle, stay in the front row where possible and always speed them up, boss teams are left-to-right
  8. Do not nickname your Yo-kai
  9. While the stories are separate, play one character until you're forced to switch
  10. I recommend using quest navigation, which I'll be referring to as "nav" in this guide
  11. Baffle Boards are case-insensitive (only matters for non-Japanese versions)
  12. Whenever you go into KaiNet after switching, you must press A before you can quit out
  13. Since I don't want this route to be super long, I am only mentioning things of interest - if things don't match up, assume the instruction is "Follow the story"
  14. DO NOT CROSS ANY RED LIGHTS THAT AREN’T REQUIRED!!!!!
  15.
  16. Chapter 1:
  17. Timer starts upon confirming names
  18. Cannot skip first eating minigame, you can skip all the rest though, do not get any golden drops
  19. Glasses on fire hydrant outside
  20. Good news bad news decision does not matter; against Cornfused, don’t use soult
  21. Use soult against Snitchin
  22. Set map to half zoom while getting stamina back if you want
  23. Through the school to cafeteria, don't buy anything
  24. Don't need to worry about Treetter/Tsubuyaki shots
  25. Be extra careful in the alleyway while looking for the Doctor
  26. You can skip the eating minigame at the end
  27. NOTE: You can’t skip a lot of dialogue in this chapter (especially Hailey’s)
  28.
  29. Boy chapter 2:
  30. Does not matter what you say to Blunder

  162. Catch 3 fish of any type, doesn’t matter
  163. Boss: Yopple-Bot (Whapir-El Gutso-Usapyon): make sure to throw the bomb at Yopple-Bot; otherwise not a hard fight

  203.

  207. Don't wake up New Yo-kai City Mirapo
  208. Swap Burly with Cupistol and switch with Usapyon
  209. Ignore park heroes, head west to boss: Hoaxy-Coaxy 2 (Whapir-El Gutso-Burly) and afterwards follow him for a rematch for some reason
  210. We hate this chapter.

  225. After taking Doctor Hughly to Yopple, its Mirapo works again but use Hidabat
  226. In Bada-Bing Tower the floor order is random, I'll list them in numerical order:
  227. Save before spinning the wheel, and if you get a non-Dream floor, quit the game and try again
  228. Dream Floor - Moon (13F) - boss: No-Bot is a clone of Yopple-Bot but easier
  229. Dream Floor - Fire (24F) - fire doesn't do anything, just get to the end
  230. Dream Floor - Water (36F) - you can't quit the rafting minigame
  231. Dream Floor - Woods (42F) - nothing of note here
  232. Dream Floor - Gold (48F) - you can quit the rhythm game
  233. Dream Floor - Earth (50F) - the No-Bots' field of view is actually much larger
  234. Dream Floor - Sun (53F) - nothing of note here
  235. Dangerous Floors (all other floors) - you must defeat the Yo-kai
  236. 555F - boss: the Executor (same as usual, El Gutso will have evolved by now)
  237. If you want you can give front row equipment and items, it's unnecessary though
  238. Boss: the Ghoulfather (same) - target Ghoulie with dynamite when he calls them, use Blaster and avoid soult
  239. Boss: Don Spiracy (same) - you have time to dodge his Soultimate, make sure to dodge his artifact moves and slam the blaster to win
  240.
  241. Congratulations for finishing the speedrun! Right now, anything in the realm of 8:30 to 9:30 is good
