|    | |  |  provide some protection from the weather.  Warm humid air
|    < <-!|  flows through the many gaps, carrying the scent of flowers,
|      |  |  and the thick humidity often present in the tropics.  The
|      !  |  floor is constructed of simple black stone, though evidence

             cracks meandering across its surface.  A glowing ring of
             light is in the center of the structure, with a pristine
             sword hanging in mid-air above it, the only item untouched by
             time or cataclysm.  Crumbling stone stairs lead to the east
             and west, shimmering water lapping at the bottom step,
             unsuccessfully attempting to encroach on the God's dominion.

|    |   ||  swimming several feet below.  Partially standing to the east,
|    ! S !|  a crumbling temple beckons to pedestrians, seeming to be
|    | | ||  safe, despite large gaps in the walls and chunks of stone
|=-<-X-*-!|  appearing about ready to plummet from the roof's edge.  Magic
|      | ||  casts an ethereal blue glow over the surface, which easily
|      < <|  supports the weight of all the passersby, not a drop wetting
|        ||  their shoes or boots.  More of the path can be accessed to
