You have the power to make anyone absolutely infatuated with you. You decide to test this on your crush, that one pretty girl that you wish you could talk to but just could never muster up the courage to initiate conversation. It works. She is immediately obsessed with you completely and utterly, devoting each and every hour of her day to making you happy. You have sex whenever you want and she will do anything at the drop of a hat. She moves in with you after a week and things are going great.

This goes on for a while, until you start feeling bored of this relationship. With her always on your side, ready to do anything for you, life gets boring and monotonous, the same daily routine of her always going out of her way to please you. She feels soulless, partly because she is. She abandoned her previous life entirely just to be with you. Her old personality was replaced by this desire to love and be with you. Eventually, her family and friends get worried as none of them have heard from her or seen her in weeks. They track her down and find her in your apartment, but she refuses to come back to her old life, as she is obsessively in love with you. They are clearly very disturbed by this and accuse you of brainwashing her, and try to get the police involved, but it goes nowhere. Eventually, this is all too much for you and you try to end the relationship. But she isn't having it. You eventually have to drag her out kicking and screaming, and call the police again just to get her off your property.

Everything seems fine for a week, but you can't help but notice some odd occurrences. You come home to find your clothes neatly folded and put away. You brush it off as you doing it earlier and just forgetting about it, but the oddities keep piling up. You notice your windows look much cleaner. Your room smells nicer. Your fridge is a lot more organised, but some food appears to have gone missing. Even worse, throughout the time since she left, you couldn't help but shake the feeling that somebody was... watching you.

You panic. You search your house in case she's hiding somewhere, but you find nothing. Whenever you leave you ensure that all your windows and doors are locked tight. You install security systems. You even get the police involved again, but they can't find any trace of her anywhere. The security systems seem to work, until you come home to find your shirts ironed and washed. By now you're a wreck, as all this stress has made your mental state slowly deteriorate. Eventually you quit your job and stay shut inside your house, mostly your bedroom, desperate to catch her and stop this. You stay awake and watch for several days. You try to distract your mind and relax but the thought of this whole ordeal is tearing you apart mentally, so you just sit and wait and listen.

Four days in, at 03:49, you hear something.

Footsteps. Soft footsteps, on the floor below you.

Somebody is inside.

This is your chance.

You grab the shotgun that you bought for this occasion. You sneak out of your room, trying to be as quiet as possible. You hear the soft footsteps again. This time, they appear to be coming towards where you hide. This is your chance. You hold your shotgun in your hand, silently pointing it in the direction of the steps.

Suddenly, for some reason, you can no longer hear the steps. You wait several minutes, then decide to silently step towards where you last heard them. This is is. You ready your shotgun, and point it towards where the intruder should be...

but there is nobody there. The intruder appears to have vanished. You turn on a light and look around a bit. Nothing.

Suddenly, you see a shadow behind you. You try to turn around, but are struck on the head with a heavy object. You black out before you are able to see your attacker.

You wake up several hours later. Your head is throbbing with pain. As you slowly adjust to your surroundings, you pick up the scent of pine trees nearby. You realise your hands are tied together. Even more jarring is that you are on a horse cart driven by your ex girlfriend, trapped with three other people. You see large letters appearing in the sky, forming the words "THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM." Your girlfriend laughs and takes off a mask, revealing herself to be none other than Todd Howard. You are trapped in skyrim for the rest of eternity. God damnit Todd, ya sneaky cunt.
