Sunrise

>it's early in the morning
>you woke up way earlier than normal, at about five thirty
>you decide to start the day off in your hammock, drinking coffee
>as you finish your drink, you hear some squealing from over the fence
>you slowly get up and peek over
>a bright yellow unicorn is being attacked by a large group of ferals
>almost instinctively, you hop the fence and rush over to help
>you begin to hear what the fluffies are saying
>"Nuuu! Nu hewt Cwawe! Hewp!"
>"Dummy fwuffy! We wan get wid of you!"
>"We give you spechul huggies!"
>"Kiww hew! Kiww hew!"
>you've never seen such violent fluffies before
>you grab them all by the scruff and hurl them away
>normally, you don't hurt fluffies
>you'll make an exception this time
>they go soaring away, yelling all about the "dummy hooman munster"
>you kneel down and lift up "Clare"
>"Hooman? You hewp Cwawe?"
>"Of course. Who were those ponies?"
>"Owd hewd. Dey no wike Cwawe an wan hewt her."
>"Well, you're safe, now."
>she shakes her head
>"Nu. Cwawe no safe. Cwawe nevah safe."
>"What do you mean? I'll take care of you."
>she shakes her head again
>"You no take cawe of Cwawe. No hooman take cawe of me."
>"Stop that. You're fine now."
>Clare points off to the right, and your eyes follow her hoof
>you see a brilliant sunrise, more beautiful than any sunrise you've ever seen
>"Sunwise mean bye-bye."
>you slowly feel Clare become lighter and lighter
>you swear you can almost see through her now
>"Bye-bye, hooman."
>she begins to shine until it hurts to look at her
>and then she's gone
>she just vanished
>you look for her again the following morning, but to no avail
>no matter how much you search, you can never find her again
>but every morning you get up and watch the sunrise
>it's gets prettier everyday
>just for you, and nobody else
