Tetethina character profile

Tetehina “Tete” - A young female lamia, who, like Jerid, is very curious about the world before the Fall of the Skyfolk.  Tete is excitable, passionate, and forward with her feelings. She tries to come off as playful and in control, but more often than not this is just a guise so she does not appear vulnerable to people’s feelings.  Because she cannot make friends easily due to her race’s reputation, she forges strong bonds with those that can see past how she looks.  She wants to see the world because she has lived most of her life as a sheltered lamia. While Jerid cares more about the magic aspect of the sky kingdom, she cares more about the culture
She wants to know more about what life was like before the great apocalypse.

 Lamia are disliked for their snake-like appearance by most people, and the reputation of lamia witches that consume men are hunted out of communities as a result. Most live in small safe havens with the few mates they can find, but the lamias are an all-female race, so their people are suffering greatly population wise. Tete is very curious and like most lamia is allowed to go on frequent excursions to find food, materials, and hopefully a mate. Tete is a romantic, but neither does she want to marry the first man she meets, hence her stubborn refusal  to settle down, much to the chagrin of her mother.
While she dislikes violence, Tete is not a weakling. Her tail is very powerful and can easily crush a man to death if need be. She can also produce a potent toxin in her fangs that cause paralysis. In smaller doses, she can use her venom as an antiseptic.  She is the most knowledgeable when it comes to culture and due to her mercenary father, she knows a large number of languages, though she has some holes in her understanding due to her lack of experience.
