- How to do tapers in HAAS CNC
- 1. Cut Jaws, set part
- 2. Go to Chamfers
- 3. Touch the face and ID of the part
- 4. Measure the ID of the bore
- 5. Measure the big size of the taper
- 6. Sustract those 2 measures and divide the result by 40.
- 7. The result is the aproximate numbers of cuts that you have to make.
- 8. Find the X number in your screen, must be around -10.437
- 9. Sustract .040 from that measurement.
