11:27:05	AndrewofDoom looks at the group of others off training. "Well, that reminds me. We need an order to succession of leadership. In case, you know, the two of us are out in some way."
11:28:49	Rumia: Illebra looks, conflicted at that. "Who would you appoint as leader in your place...?"
11:30:00	AndrewofDoom: "Probably going like You, then Kara, and then Zetta. If we start losing more than that, it's probably better to high tail it out of there."
11:32:42	Rumia: Illebra raises an eyebrow. "I notice you didn't list your... Contract holder."
11:34:10	AndrewofDoom: "I hardly feel she's qualfied as a leader. This is serious situation, I don't want to risk people's lives."
11:35:15	Rumia: Illebra nods in agreement. "Indeed. Though powerful on her own, she does tend to be a bit... short sighted."
11:40:30	AndrewofDoom: "Right, so I need to figure out how you made those runes on your gun. They're quite something."
11:41:27	Rumia: Illebra grins at that. "Shall we have a lesson now? I have much I can teach you on the subject... if you're willing to learn."
11:42:35	AndrewofDoom: "Sure I can always learn some of this...weird magic stuff."
11:45:34	Rumia: Illebra chuckles, fully extending the barrel to show off the string of connecting runes. "Well then. I guess I can start with a bit of background... though that may take a while."
11:46:07	AndrewofDoom: "As long as there's no blood involved."
11:47:15	Rumia: Illebra snorts. "Of course not. That's for actually putting them on."
11:48:33	Rumia: Illebra then clears her throat. "Very well, I'll try not to bore you with magical terms you'd have no base on, instead, I'll explain what runes do, and their effects on the world around them. Does that sound good?"
11:54:50	Rumia: "Right," She begins with the first of four runes on the barrel, one that looks like a stylized arrow. "First, we have the rune of direction, Rtyz. These, as the name implies, enforce direction. Larger versions of it can produce... amazing effects, depending on the runes that follow it up."
11:55:24	AndrewofDoom blinks.
11:55:47	AndrewofDoom: "So...the rune order matters I suppose?"
11:56:43	Rumia: Illebra frowns. "It matters very much. The wrong order could at the least, not cause it to work. At the worst, you end up with an explosion of either your own, and natural energy."
11:58:00	AndrewofDoom: "Okay...what else you got?"
11:59:26	Rumia: Illebra taps her chin. "The order of runes also changes depending on orientation... for example, runes for barriers tend to be drawn top down, while ones for things like offense tend to be drawn from left to right... or right to left depending on what you want to do..."
12:04:00	Rumia: Illebra shakes her head. "But I'll get into that later. For now," She points out the second rune, which looks like a small one sided scale with a half circle surrounding it's left side, linking it to the first. "This is Siong. Balance. I've used this to allow the bullets it fires to fly true, along with the first as an aim assitant."
12:04:56	AndrewofDoom: "So bullets don't get affected by gravity basically?"
12:05:19	Rumia: Illebra nods. "Exactly."
12:05:30	Rumia: "The half circle is an addition, a support rune, if anything. That helps to balance out the power of the chain."
12:07:49	AndrewofDoom: "Okay, so this makes little sense to me. I would need to play with this...in a safe environment. Rather not put my gun at risk."
12:09:55	Rumia: Illebra nods. "Of course. Then again... I have all the knowledge of what works and what doesn't work in my head from all of my various experiments... If anything, I can give you a few basic runes to fool around with. Drawing them doesn't do much, as they aren't infused with blood. But infusing them with blood after you make them can activate them."
12:10:41	AndrewofDoom: "Ugh. I rather keep my blood safe."
12:12:28	Rumia: Illebra chuckles. "Ah, don't be such a wimp. Besides, your blood wouldn't have done much without your contract with Rumia. Had it been before that... well the runes would only work with the bare minimum of power."
12:13:26	AndrewofDoom: "Well how did you get your runes to work then? You're in a normal, boring human body right now you know. Well, one that's kinda almost dead too."
12:13:34	AndrewofDoom shivers at the thought.
12:14:04	Rumia: Illebra smirks. "I cheated of course."
12:14:37	AndrewofDoom raises an eyebrow. "Lemme guess. You shagged one of the witches into submission to use her blood."
12:15:09	Rumia: Illebra blinks in shock, before blushing. "N-no! Why would that be your first thought!?"
12:15:49	AndrewofDoom: "Seemed the most logical conclusion for someone who had a massive lesbian harem once." He smiles.
12:16:46	Rumia: Illebra sighs. "Not with this body... it would be... unpleasent."
12:18:01	AndrewofDoom flatly gazes. "Right, Can't live without the suit. Vicis was a dick to not heal my sister's body at all."
12:20:40	Rumia: Illebra shrugs. "It is what it is."
12:22:22	AndrewofDoom: "Tell me how you cheated now. You've got me curious."
12:25:13	Rumia: Illebra looks a bit nervous. "Ah... I'm... uh... used the magic hidden within my own soul, infused with the deadened blood of Elcia to power the runes."
12:25:54	Rumia: "Before you start panicking, I can't draw anything but a tiny amount of magic power out. Dead blood is a horrible conductor of magicial power."
12:28:05	AndrewofDoom: "..."
12:28:27	AndrewofDoom: "Well she is alive still. Just not in the way you'd normally suspect."
12:29:06	Rumia: Illebra nods. "Which is the only reason it worked in the first place. Anyway... should I continue?"
12:38:14	AndrewofDoom: "Go on."
12:42:26	Rumia: Illebra nods, pointing out the third rune, that looks to be something of a maze in a 3/4 circle, the edges looping back at each end to create another path, before proceeding out of the opening left behind to go on to the next ruin. "Harel. Charge, or holding. Think of it as a storage rune. Bigger ones have more of the loopings, which allow it greater magicial output, or in the cases of absorbtion

12:47:03	AndrewofDoom: "Hm I see."
12:54:16	Rumia: Illebra then points out the fourth and final rune of the chain, a stylized hook that loops back only twice, before, terminating into another Rtyz rune. "Horam, guidance. This one is a bit tricky, because it's a combination of three runes, Rtyz, Harel... and a support rune. A personal creation of mine. That's what makes the homing effect~"
12:56:23	AndrewofDoom: "So a smart rifle huh."
12:58:10	Rumia: Illebra grins, nodding. "Exactly. It may be cheating, technically, but as long as it works, and I'm not dead, there is no need to worry about it, right?"
13:04:18	AndrewofDoom: "Well, that's good and all, but I'm not the biggest fan of cutting myself." He's noticeably squeemish at the thought.
13:06:22	Rumia: Illebra rubs at the bridge of her nose. "Then use a needle to collect the blood. Honestly, it doesn't even have to be your blood, big baby."
13:10:47	AndrewofDoom: "Okay then we'll use yours then."
13:13:30	Rumia: Illebra blinks, before sighing. "Before we get to ANYthing using blood, I want to make sure you can draw these in your sleep, perfectly."
13:15:25	AndrewofDoom: "Okay, let's start some drawing."
13:19:41	Rumia: Illebra nods, before taking out some of her own supplies for him. "Now, I'll guide you through the process a few times. A few things to remember are, 1, once you start, you cannot for any reason, take the etching tool, brush, or whatever you're using to draw the rune off the area until you finish the chain. Since we'll be drawing single runes, that won't be a problem at the moment."
13:20:59	Rumia: Illebra continues. "2, like other magic, rune activation is is controlled by intent. Think of how you want the runes to react when you use them while you're making them."
13:21:49	AndrewofDoom: "Hm, a lot of this I can probably do with my own powers right now. It would probably be some way to augment my darkness powers on my gun."
13:21:58	Rumia: Illebra then finishes up with the last rule. "And finally, when you feel you are done, come to me and let me check. Even the SMALLEST mistake can cause problems."
13:24:01	AndrewofDoom: "What am I supposed to draw? I presume I can't just draw any old shapes."
13:25:34	Rumia: Illebra moves behind him to grab his hands, guiding him to make a simple Rtyz rune. "We'll start with these first three."
13:26:41	AndrewofDoom quickly glances around hoping Rumia isn't here.
13:26:46	AndrewofDoom: "Okay."
13:29:39	AndrewofDoom draws along with Illebra's help on the floor. "Safety first. Not going to get a replacement gun very easy after all."
13:30:31	Rumia: Illebra nods. "Of course. That's usually why you test them out on... less delicate things."
13:31:08	Rumia interrupts her training with Noel to see what Illebra and Andrew are doing.
13:32:06	AndrewofDoom: "So is there any rhyme or reason to the shapes I draw? Like a pattern?"
13:38:23	Rumia: Illebra chuckles. "Observent, aren't you. You'll notice that most of the runes I've used are circular in shape, right? Even the Rtyz rune, which is an arrow, has several curves. The reason for this, is to better channel magicial energy. The most simple rune, and the base for all runes, is actually just a circle. I mean, sure, there are geometric shapes that can make up other forms of runes,
13:38:23	Rumia: but those are... much more advanced, some are in different schools of runes entirely, and some are considered lost, due to them going unused for so long, that what they do is no longer known."
13:39:30	AndrewofDoom: "Including runes to summon cosmic horror stories huh?"
13:39:32	AndrewofDoom smirks.
13:41:27	Rumia: Illebra gives a nervous laugh. "Yeah... including those..."
13:42:02	AndrewofDoom: "Sounds like you got experience in that don't you?"
13:46:47	Rumia: Illebra sighs. "Yes... it's what lead to me originally going... well..."
