  1. Id like to address the informalities and inconsistencies in the boogiecraft moderation team.
  2.
  3. GamerTag_Man was threatened to be muted by Green Ghost for being "annoying"
  4.
  5. GreenGhostToday at 1:28 PM
  6. dont annoy me.. tbh u annoy alot of up ill just mute u
  7.
  8. I stated that annoying shouldnt be a valid reason for mute as the definition of annoying is extremely relative between each mod and it got this response from Ghost
  9.
  10. GreenGhostToday at 1:31 PM
  11. annoying is relative but if i ask a few people and they agree with me guess what :ok_hand:
  12. I then stated that the word annoying isnt stated in the rules and therefore definetely shouldnt be mute worthy without a very specific warning. It rendered this response
  13.
  14. GreenGhostToday at 1:30 PM
  15. 2: WARN people if they're being rude, annoying, spamming stuff. if the person carries on after the warning, MUTE them. BAN if they continue.
  16. from the rules...
  17.
  18. I then pointed out that the rules stated in that message are NOT the rules given to the people
  19.
  20. "2. Trolling and spamming are not allowed and ABSOLUTELY NO GRIEFING OR STEALING"
  21.
  22. To which Ghost said he cant fix those kind of things with his role and he doesnt want to talk about this anymore because its a waste of time
  23. I asked for someone to speak to if he cant fix my issue and got this EXTREMELY unprofessional response
  24.
  25. GreenGhostToday at 1:34 PM
  26. you want someone to talk to? Crying Laughing Emoji
  27.
  28. As you can see every single one of GreenGhost's responses were unprofessional. Not only that but this conversation also proves the mods have different rules to ban and mute off of then the community.
  29. Not only that but these rules also include many grey area terms such as the use of the word annoying.
  30. Unless youre adding a seperate page for the moderation team and entire playerbase to learn your idea of semantics you need to be clear in your words.
  31.
  32. If I recall correctly a major reason that the server even died in the first place was the mods ideas of grey area subjects diversifying so much that bans and unbans of active players were a daily issue.
  33.
  34. GreenGhost did eventually give me a decently professional response
  35.
  36. GreenGhostToday at 1:35 PM
  37. i still enfoce the rules and i dont make them. open suggestiona and ask to talk to a head mod or dev thanks
  38. I posted the suggestion

  41. Suggestion : make the mod rules and rules channel the same rules and don’t have grey area words like being annoying so we don’t have to have an argument about how my view on semantics is different from yours
  42. Also as a side note
  43.
  44. Train your mods to give professional responses so when I ask for someone that can resolve my issue I don’t get the response
  45.
  46. AND I QUOTE
  47. “You want someone to talk to? crying laughing emoji”
  48. --------------------------------------------------------------
  49. As a public server you need to treat your moderation role as a job and be professional in your workplace. Otherwise the playerbase will be able to blame you for errors and cause major issues ban/mute wise and be left unpunished or worse the server could die.
  50.
  51. The boogiecraft moderation team needs to be reevaluated and trained properly to minimize these issues and the rules need to be re written to more clearly state what I as a player of the server am and am not allowed to do.
  52. Didnt know where to send this and Cobiys busy
  53. but this is a serious issue thats causing turmoil in your server.
