Remember, it took me 6 editions to make it to my first championship final
ONLY because I wasn't as a good RPer for a long time 'til fairly recently

Being in an easy one is better starting out
Also, it's literally random

Neither conference is really active iirc
<ANG|IRN> That was only an option because i was going to request a move though not because I was starting over with one school
<Foodporn> Also, think of me who has 3 schools and one of either Saguenay or Iqaluit will have lot worse results than they'd in QIS mode :P

You have to think of the balance, simply because there are not as many active RPers these days

Cos is a very reasonable, approachable guy from my experience and Kalalau, while his love of weird tactics is evident, is a great lad
There's also me and Ranoria, based on my times talking to him is a friendly lad
<ANG|IRN> You have to remember that I have like a 50/50 chance of being in a conference hosted by Chrom or ESF
and speaking of which my teams did notably worse despite a high rank this season
<Foodporn> I'll just say that ESF is a very reliable host and you have to give her a benefit of doubt. Chrom isn't a n00b either

<ANG|IRN> I guess the other thing is that nothing I win in is viewed as legit no matter what contest it is and that's demotivating too

Gridiron circuit is lot more chill than WCC

Remember that RPing should be more on pleasure level than spending 100% of your daily energy though

Maybe spend more time writing other things IRL as well?

Also making b2b NSCF SF appearances on your 2nd and 3rd cycles are very impressive feats
Not even Kalalau was able to achieve that iirc

Yes I might enjoy RPing but it still takes effort
So my point is to pick and choose my efforts carefully
