  1. 21:29:17: <Goatwright> DUN DUN.
  2. 21:30:34: <Goatwright> The ding of an elevator, and you all find yourselves flooding out into a circular-running hallway. A few unfamiliar faces push and shove their way past you, clearing out into the only moderately less cramped conditions of the hall.
  3. 21:30:43: <Goatwright> Looks like some other people were hired along with you.
  4. 21:31:04: <Benedict> Gross, one of them touched Seir.
  5. 21:31:44: <Goatwright> "Alright!," comes the booming voice of a large figure as he himself shoves past all of you. "This is the main floor!"
  6. 21:32:22: <Goatwright> It is none other than CAPTAIN INDA MAYHALIS, your recruiter and, from now on, captain. He looks suspiciously like a massive loser, but you all are, too, so perhaps it's a good fit.
  7. 21:32:40: <Benedict> Who you calling loser?
  8. 21:32:53: <Goatwright> The accused-criminal-turned-criminal who fell from grace, perhaps.
  9. 21:32:56: <Goatwright> Maybe the neurotic squid.
  10. 21:33:04: <Goatwright> Or the loser who's been on one planet ever.
  11. 21:33:21: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel wonders if he is a loser... Was his research all for nought? Has he not finally won the right to mingle with the cool scientists? They don't look like scientists.
  12. 21:33:42: <viejo> Why... My god... There's a NINTIR in this very room! Disgusting.
  13. 21:33:48: <Rainglove> Billy squids excitedly.
  14. 21:34:00: <viejo> "How very... Adequate."
  15. 21:34:13: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal knows he's not a loser, unlike the rest of these small and fragile people.
  16. 21:34:23: <Goatwright> They decidedly are not. One of them happens to be a fairly greasy (other) nintir, with unkept and over-volumed hair-feathers, and he is picking his nose this very minute.
  17. 21:34:27: <Goatwright> These are your co-workers.
  18. 21:35:09: <Goatwright> "This way is to the command room!" Mayhalis starts walking around the hall, passing a doorway and going on into another.
  19. 21:35:17: <Benedict> Seir thinks the other Nintir is disgusting while holding back the urge to spit to the side.
  20. 21:35:32: <Benedict> And follows the 'Commander' person.
  21. 21:35:58: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal follows the man who wrecked his house.
  22. 21:36:12: <Goatwright> He's still got that big furry coat on, Mishaal.
  23. 21:36:20: <Goatwright> It does look a bit gaudy on him, but hey.
  24. 21:36:31: <Hippocratesi> At least he kept it clean. What a nice guy.
  25. 21:36:35: <NachtRuine> Abe looks about at the others. None of them are human. This oughta be a good time.
  26. 21:37:26: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel internaly oy veys. He wonder how many shekkels he'll lose due to these idiots...
  27. 21:37:41: <Benedict> All of them.
  28. 21:37:43: <Benedict> All of the shekels.
  29. 21:38:34: <Goatwright> You all enter into a reasonably sized command room. There's a few people working at a row of monitors, and you can see a large screen displaying what lies ahead of the ship. A planet is rapidly coming into view.
  30. 21:39:04: <Goatwright> There's also a considerably out of place wooden chair glued to the center of the room, in perfect view of said display screen.
  31. 21:39:29: <viejo> Are there any Ukreltian cuties?
  32. 21:39:38: <Rainglove> Billy attempts to size up the command equipment, since the communications gear is presumably going to be on a similar level.
  33. 21:39:54: <Goatwright> There are not. You are a SMALLER POPULOUS of people, after all, you filthy Ukreltian dog.
  34. 21:40:01: <viejo> oy vey
  35. 21:40:16: <viejo> "The wooden chair is, presumably, a personal preference and not standard military equipment?"
  36. 21:40:21: <Benedict> Probably plenty of Nintir's, though. Did the captain run out of funding or something? That wooden chair looks gaudy.
  37. 21:40:36: <Benedict> Seir's augmented feet hurt. The command room is too loud. He wishes he was working on mechs.
  38. 21:40:47: <Goatwright> The communications gear appears approximate to the alliance technology level, but you can tell it's dated, Billy. Probably capable of what you need to do, but you can expect some crashes if you push it too far.
  39. 21:40:49: <viejo> The good Doc decides to assert dominance amongst the new group, bothering to attempt small talk with the Zapp Brannigan imposter.
  40. 21:41:03: <Rainglove> Billy squishes disappointedly.
  41. 21:41:37: <Goatwright> "They said the captain's chair wasn't included. You can call me old-fashioned, uh..." He flips through some pages on a clipboard, squinting.
  42. 21:41:47: <NachtRuine> Abe stares at the incoming planet. He is not used to this, not used to not being in orbit around an orange-is planet.
  43. 21:41:52: <Goatwright> "Uhhhhh...."
  44. 21:42:21: <Rainglove> Billy resolves to buy the captain a tablet and a scheduler as soon as circumstances permit.
  45. 21:42:52: <viejo> "Captain's chair not included? Is that the only thing missing or was it a personal slight against you specifically?"
  46. 21:42:55: <Goatwright> He thumbs through a few more pages, then turns to talk to one of the women working at the monitors - a human woman, no less. "We hired a Ukreltian, right?" "Yes, sir." "But my notes-"
  47. 21:43:07: <viejo> "Unless the funding literally cut short around the captain's chair point..."
  48. 21:43:07: <Hippocratesi> "Having trouble, 'Captain'?"
  49. 21:44:23: <Benedict> "He wants to know your name." Seir looks to the disgusting tentacle-legged Jew.
  50. 21:44:28: <Goatwright> "No! No, uh..." He pauses for a bit. "Mishaal! Mishaal. No, my notes just look a bit dated. We've gone through a few hires and fires. 'Bureaucracy', you know."
  51. 21:46:19: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal chuckles, a big space-Russian chuckle. "At least you remembered /me/."
  52. 21:47:11: <Goatwright> "Of course! It's hard to forgot being thrown around a log cabin while children scream in fear."
  53. 21:49:32: <viejo> "Unless any of you are secretly a Ukreltian in disguise which would, well, greatly surprise me, then allow me to introduce myself. I am Doctor Oisroirx Jeisswessel of Patagonia, but please, find something shorter if you must, everyone else does."
  54. 21:49:57: <Goatwright> "Right! Right, of course. The prestigious Doctor Jessweasel."
  55. 21:50:03: <Benedict> Doctor Jew. Seir adds this name to his computer.
  56. 21:50:09: <Goatwright> He writes the name down on his clipboard.
  57. 21:50:16: <NachtRuine> Oh great. He's pretentious.
  58. 21:50:34: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal will just call him 'Doctor', because he genuinely didn't hear the rest.
  59. 21:51:20: <Goatwright> "Well, Doc, the ICA retired the idea of captain's chairs a while ago. Something about it being bad for morale." He rolls his eyes. "I decided to make some comfortable adjustments is all."
  60. 21:52:30: <viejo> "I am admittedly relatively new to ICA standards, as is most of my species. It seems like a somewhat odd decision."
  61. 21:53:56: <Goatwright> " 'Environmentally-reinforced hierarchy' is apparently bad for motivational purposes. Makes people nervous to slip up. Kind of ironic when you think about it."
  62. 21:54:05: <Goatwright> "Anyway! Please direct your eyes to the screen above."
  63. 21:54:18: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal directs his eyes.
  64. 21:54:25: <Benedict> Seir is directing his eyes to the screen. What a nice screen.
  65. 21:54:26: <NachtRuine> Eyes are directed.
  66. 21:54:37: <Benedict> Seir wonders how expensive that screen was.
  67. 21:54:38: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel frowns before looking where he is directed.
  68. 21:54:55: <viejo> Seir rubs his hands and wonders how many shekels he can sell it for to his dumb cousin, NuFrel.
  69. 21:55:20: <Benedict> Piss off, Jew.
  70. 21:56:10: <Goatwright> He gestures towards the planet. "This is Tukweli-IV, a budding ICA colony planet. Shortly before entering into warp, an automatic distress signal was broadcasted and the feds asked somebody go take a look." He scribbles something on his clipboard a bit. "Please keep in mind automatic distress signals probably mean they're all dead, but you know."
  71. 21:56:15: <Goatwright> "It's important to check on them."
  72. 21:57:30: <Goatwright> "This is probably a good benchtest to check our new deployment team's merit!" He flips through his clipboards to find exactly who that is.
  73. 21:58:18: <Goatwright> The woman he spoke to previously hands him a paper. "Ah! Yes. Doctor Jistwissal, Seir, Abraham, Mishaal, and Billy."
  74. 21:58:32: <Goatwright> He looks up at them, looking for an indication of who all that is.
  75. 21:58:43: <Benedict> Seir was pretty sure he signed up to work on mechs.
  76. 21:58:48: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal blinks.
  77. 21:59:29: <Benedict> Seir raises his hand. "I signed up to work on mechs."
  78. 22:00:08: <NachtRuine> Abraham speaks. "I am Abraham, but I'd rather be called Cole."
  79. 22:01:04: <Goatwright> "Abe it is."
  80. 22:01:09: <Goatwright> He writes a note.
  81. 22:01:31: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal suddenly realizes what the captain's look meant. "I am Mishaal. Is all you need to know."
  82. 22:01:52: <NachtRuine> "I-" No, don't bother. It's already too late.
  83. 22:02:09: <Goatwright> "Right, I got you, big guy." He nods, then looks to Seir. "Well, you're pulling double shift, now. Maybe there's some mechs to work on out in the field?"
  84. 22:02:19: <Rainglove> Billy bobs excitedly. "I am excited for this"
  85. 22:02:33: <viejo> Clearly everyone here is retarded. Dr. Jeisswessel checks his iPhone 87 for any OGSA updates.
  86. 22:02:56: <Benedict> "Okay." Seir gives up immediately. Better here than working illegal jobs. "I am Seir."
  87. 22:03:52: <Goatwright> "Alright. You guys will be going down to the planet's surface to report what you find. Meanwhile, we'll all be up here waiting on you. Miss Chelsea, can you please give the rest of our new hires a tour around the rest of the ship?"
  88. 22:04:50: <Goatwright> The human nods, and the rest of the group goes over to her. Mayhalis, meanwhile, passes by the five assholes standing about who are ready to be shrekt by aliums. "Hussle, boys. I'd rather not be on a cramped elevator again."
  89. 22:05:27: <Rainglove> Billy hustles however well he can.
  90. 22:05:34: <NachtRuine> Abe does an about face and follows the crowd.
  91. 22:05:40: <Rainglove> He wonders when they started playing football.
  92. 22:05:51: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal turns and follows the capitan.
  93. 22:06:01: <Hippocratesi> wait we're supposed to right
  94. 22:06:05: <Goatwright> Yes
  95. 22:06:09: <Goatwright> You are the boyz
  96. 22:06:36: <Goatwright> "No, Abe, this way!"
  97. 22:06:55: <Benedict> Seir follows the captain. Commander. Whatever his rank is.
  98. 22:07:14: <NachtRuine> "Hrm? Oh, whoops." Abe rights himself and goes in the right direction this time. "Force of habit."
  99. 22:07:38: <viejo> They're all literally retarded
  100. 22:07:56: <Goatwright> How does it feel playing the only NON-autist this time around? :^)
  101. 22:08:00: <viejo> Hey, someone spliced a cucumber with a dragonfruit, now isn't that neat. Thanks OGSA updates.
  102. 22:08:16: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel "likes" this.
  103. 22:09:01: <Goatwright> Once they're all crammed into the elevator, the six of them descend.
  104. 22:09:19: <Goatwright> The captain flips through his notes as it hums. "Right, which one of you is Billy again?"
  105. 22:09:48: <Rainglove> billy stops midway through reaching for someone's face. "Here sir"
  106. 22:10:52: <Goatwright> "So you're the pilot for our interface ship?"
  107. 22:11:40: <Rainglove> "Piloting is one of my specialties"
  108. 22:12:35: <Goatwright> "I'm sure it is, little guy." The elevator dings as they reach what seems to be the bottom floor. Mayhalis exits into a fairly cramped hangar area.
  109. 22:13:22: <Goatwright> You notice a few mechs lying dormant in a corner, and, taking up the majority of the space is what looks like a personal ship.
  110. 22:14:06: <Benedict> Seir longs to work on those mechs. Soon, baby. Soon.
  111. 22:14:19: <NachtRuine> Cole doesn't pay it much mind. He assumes it's not for him.
  112. 22:14:22: <Rainglove> Billy takes in the view. A large blob and some small blobs. Nice.
  113. 22:14:30: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal lights up a bit at the sight of the mechs. Oh yes. Perfect.
  114. 22:16:20: <Goatwright> "Right. This will be your transport shit. The Caeligo will be your pilot into the atmosphere. I believe some of you are mech pilots, but because of they're still currently being prepared, you'll be deploying via pod."
  115. 22:17:01: <Benedict> "Do they still need repairs." Seir 'asks' while looking at the mechs.
  116. 22:17:52: <Goatwright> "Billy, we'll be sending you the coordinates for your drop location. Good luck, everyone." He ignores the question, marching on back to the elevator. He presses a button, follows it with a "It should be a routine check, anyway," and the elevator doors close.
  117. 22:18:10: <Goatwright> You are now ALONE.
  118. 22:18:18: <viejo> "To the task at hand." Dr. Jeisswessel goes wherever he is needed, to a pod, wherever.
  119. 22:18:41: <Goatwright> Oh whoops that shit was supposed to be ship
  120. 22:18:55: <Goatwright> Doc you were told to go on this caeligo's ship.
  121. 22:19:05: <Benedict> Seir adds "Captain Prick" to the list of names he needs to remember, right under Doctor Jew. He then goes for the squid's ship.
  122. 22:19:06: <viejo> Off to the ship he goes!
  123. 22:19:46: <Rainglove> Billy shuffles around in his pockets and pulls out what appears to be a keychain. He taps a button on the keychain, and after a loud double-beep and some flashing lights a ramp drops. Billy squids about happily, then heads for the ship.
  124. 22:20:14: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel checks his iPhone 87 - someone has already liked his picture of the weird captain's chair! Yay!
  125. 22:20:41: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal glances around at his crewmates. Why did he accept this job? Oh right, the money. "Let us go then." The large man walks up the ramp.
  126. 22:20:47: <NachtRuine> Cole heads up into the ship, having himself a look around.
  127. 22:21:24: <viejo> Is this squidkid's ship?
  128. 22:22:18: <Rainglove> yee
  129. 22:22:49: <viejo> "This looks to be quite the nifty ship, Billy! What is it called?"
  130. 22:24:41: <NachtRuine> "If you haven't done an orbital drop before, keep your head back while you're dropping. You want to suck in your gut when we eject."
  131. 22:25:05: <Benedict> Seir follows the advice of the ugly-looking human.
  132. 22:25:24: <Rainglove> "The Mayflower it is named after one of the original great human colony ships" It's a fairly standard setup, not too fancy. An open control panel near the on-ramp reveals a few spliced wires that do not look like they came that way. There are a few areas where flooring has obviously been removed and replaced, as well as portions of the walls.
  133. 22:26:05: <Rainglove> Something inside the ship whirrs and an artificial "HEEEEEEEELLOOOOOO THERE PASSENGERS" comes from out of the walls
  134. 22:26:19: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal takes note of Abe's advice. Why wouldn't he listen to the man who saved his lif- Oh god, did the ship just speak?
  135. 22:26:59: <viejo> "How long have you been flying it for? Looks like it's seen some time!"
  136. 22:27:33: <Rainglove> "SHOULD YOU NEED ANYTHING DURING YOUR TRIP JUST GIMME A HOLLER AND I'LL BE RIGHT THERE TO ASSIST YOU" and then the yelling stops
  137. 22:28:05: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal wants to cry but manages to hold it in. Be strong, big man. Be strong.
  138. 22:28:24: <Rainglove> "Oh it's been quite a while probably ten years we've been through quite a bit together I will tell you about it sometime"
  139. 22:28:35: <Rainglove> Billy floats off towards the cockpit-area
  140. 22:28:36: <Goatwright> Think of your children, Mishaal.
  141. 22:28:45: <Hippocratesi> Yes.
  142. 22:28:49: <Hippocratesi> Yes, the children.
  143. 22:28:50: <Goatwright> Think of little Ashta's bright face as she greets her daddy.
  144. 22:28:51: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel straps in and talks to cute scientists on the OGSA app.
  145. 22:29:05: <Hippocratesi> I must persevere. ;___;
  146. 22:29:11: <viejo> A pop-up appears and he clicks the close icon. Man, even in the grand future advertisements are still at large.
  147. 22:29:44: <NachtRuine> Cole gets into his pod unceremoniously. "Don't forget to breathe."
  148. 22:29:52: <Benedict> Seir makes some final notes on his computer before putting it somewhere safe. Don't need it slipping out of his hands during the drop.
  149. 22:30:19: <Rainglove> A voice begins ticking out of a speaker in cole's pod. "Inhale... Exhale... Inhale... Exhale... Inhale..."
  150. 22:30:49: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal prepares himself and steps into the pod that he can barely fit in. "I will see you all on the surface."
  151. 22:30:55: <Goatwright> The entrance of the Mayflower seals shut as sirens and flashing red lights begin in the bay around them.
  152. 22:30:59: <NachtRuine> "Oh God, I'm going to go crazy, aren't I?"
  153. 22:31:52: <Goatwright> Two large doors open up in the bay, and you hear a loud clanging followed by a thud as the ship is suddenly catapulted out of the ship hangar.
  154. 22:32:04: <Goatwright> The Mayflower has entered space!
  155. 22:32:07: <Goatwright> Achievement get.
  156. 22:32:33: <Rainglove> Billy attempts to remain in-space and heads for wherever the fuck he's supposed to be going.
  157. 22:33:16: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel looks back at his iPhone 87. Oh, silly scientist, they spliced a dragonfruit with a courgette, not with a cucumber! When will they learn.
  158. 22:33:34: <Goatwright> The ship begins to enter into the atmosphere of the planet. It's a bit shaky, but you manage it fine, and the ship begins to adjust to the air friction.
  159. 22:33:56: <Goatwright> Coordinates pop up on Billy's screen, followed by a prompt asking for permission to auto-pilot.
  160. 22:34:15: <Benedict> Seir kicks his legs, closing his eyes as he keeps reminding himself to breath.
  161. 22:34:37: <viejo> Some lower-class scientist with poor anatomy messages Dr. Jeisswessel and all too late he checks the message. Now she knows he'll have seen it and be waiting for a response! Drat!
  162. 22:34:39: <Rainglove> Billy accepts, grabs a cowboy hat from his console, and heads for his own drop-pod. "Please don't crash ship"
  163. 22:34:44: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal wonders if they'll get there within the next century.
  164. 22:35:10: <Goatwright> They won't, because they EXPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- no but for real, everybody gets strapped into the drop-pods.
  165. 22:35:42: <Goatwright> The doors seal, and after some tilting and adjusting by the ship, the lights suddenly cut off and you hear a loud BLRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR noise.
  166. 22:35:55: <Goatwright> Without even giving you time to react, you are suddenly weightless.
  167. 22:36:12: <Benedict> Breathbreathbreathbreathbreathbreath.
  168. 22:36:18: <Rainglove> Billy engages in various rodeo-inspired activities
  169. 22:36:26: <Hippocratesi> STEEL REHN
  170. 22:37:25: <Goatwright> After a good minute or so of falling, you experience a quick and painful jolt, and the doors to your pods slide open.
  171. 22:38:15: <Goatwright> Thankfully Billy's ship is not completely garbage, and you notice you've all landed relatively close to one another. However, you do not see any sort of colony.
  172. 22:38:16: <Benedict> Seir slowly opens one eye. Oh, are they down on the planet already?
  173. 22:38:25: <Goatwright> Rather, you have landed in what appears to be a forest.
  174. 22:38:35: <NachtRuine> Cole quickly unstraps and gets out, getting a view of the perimeter.
  175. 22:38:36: <Rainglove> Billy grumbles and goes about attempting to re-establish contact with his ship.
  176. 22:38:43: <Rainglove> Also he exits the pod
  177. 22:38:49: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel marks the "mark message as not seen" and then puts his iPhone away.
  178. 22:38:58: <viejo> What does the landscape look like?|
  179. 22:39:55: <Benedict> Seir slowly exits the pod. That was not fun.
  180. 22:40:14: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal steps out of the pod, rolling his shoulders.
  181. 22:40:15: <Goatwright> The sky has a slight tint of red to it, and you notice the leaves of the plants surrounding you do, too. You can't get a very good view of the surrounding area, however, as you are surrounded by trees and tree canopy.
  182. 22:40:17: <Rainglove> Cole's pod is still telling him to breathe
  183. 22:40:46: <Goatwright> The ground has a soft and spongy feel to it, and the gravity seems relatively sustainable.
  184. 22:40:57: <Goatwright> No floating or being crushed into the ground, which is always nice.
  185. 22:41:02: <viejo> Anything interesting about the trees or plants? Anything worth HARVESTING? Dr. Jeisswessel goes off for a little examination.
  186. 22:41:26: <Rainglove> Billy takes a moment from attempting to contact his ship and gives the ground a big ol' tentacle-y hug.
  187. 22:41:46: <Hippocratesi> "Is this where distress signal came from?" He takes a look around.
  188. 22:41:55: <NachtRuine> He looks at his co-workers, and sees none of them are vomiting. "Good. Lots of others usually lose their lunch on their first drop."
  189. 22:42:11: <Goatwright> Anybody who's got some sort of tablet on them receives a ping!
  190. 22:42:22: <Rainglove> "Oh I have done many tests of the drop system it is quite functional"
  191. 22:42:26: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel checks his iPhone 87.
  192. 22:42:43: <viejo> 'Did you mark my message as not seen?'
  193. 22:42:44: <Benedict> Did Seir just get a ping? Is this a message from his wife? When will she leave him alone. Seir checks his little computer.
  194. 22:43:00: <Goatwright> The trees don't seem too unusual, Jeisswessel. As this planet is one already colonized, they would have no doubt extracted anything interesting from this area - assuming you're close to the colony site, anyway.
  195. 22:43:01: <viejo> God damn it.
  196. 22:43:34: <viejo> The good doctor oy veys, not having expected anything interesting anyway, then proceeds to check whatever the ping was about.
  197. 22:43:54: <Goatwright> You see that you landed a bit off-course, but close enough to make it. You receive a map and an indicator for the direct you're to head in.
  198. 22:44:13: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel follows the marker sent to him on Google maps.
  199. 22:44:18: <viejo> I mean er, Space Google maps.
  200. 22:44:28: <Goatwright> It's obviously GoogOL maps, you ciscum.
  201. 22:44:37: <Goatwright> Of the almighty Gogol Empire
  202. 22:44:45: <Rainglove> Billy resumes trying to get back in contact with his ship and makes a mental note to fix his goddamn auto-pilot right after he buys the captain his organizer
  203. 22:45:09: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel closes the Space Google app and uses the Gogol app instead, a far superior mapping device.
  204. 22:45:27: <Goatwright> Billy successfully pings his ship. It's flying on course, and didn't obliterate itself or anything.
  205. 22:45:33: <Goatwright> At least that's what it's telling him.
  206. 22:45:36: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal follows the people with the damn markers. "Be on your guard." He says this to mostly everyone.
  207. 22:46:11: <Benedict> "At least we're not completely off-course." Seir says aloud to nobody in particular. He looks in the direction they're supposed to head in, and waits for the rest of the group to get ready to move.
  208. 22:46:22: <NachtRuine> Cole follows Mishaal, getting a familiar feeling from his voice.
  209. 22:46:32: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel is already walking off ahead.
  210. 22:46:41: <viejo> He cares not for space plebs.
  211. 22:46:43: <Rainglove> Billy's ship would never lie to him. He stops hugging the ground and resumes floating. "Apologies for the off-target drop I am not sure what happened"
  212. 22:47:01: <Rainglove> He also heads off towards the whatever, but keeps his delicate squiddish frame towards the rear
  213. 22:47:11: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal would be slightly saddened by his savior not recognizing him.
  214. 22:47:28: <NachtRuine> "We're not that far off, are we?"
  215. 22:47:34: <Goatwright> Billy is immediately dragged off by a space cougar. Meanwhile, everybody else makes their way through the forest.
  216. 22:47:35: <Rainglove> He's pulled a civilian assault rifle from somewhere, and it's slowly being passed around among all of his tentacles.
  217. 22:47:38: <viejo> "It's a hospitable planet with no immediate danger, the Mayflower has done its purpose just fine."
  218. 22:48:01: <Rainglove> Billy attempts to wrestle the cougar with all of his limbs.
  219. 22:48:03: <viejo> As in, a sexy and lusty older woman?
  220. 22:48:07: <Goatwright> Sure.
  221. 22:48:16: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel wishes he could wrestle with a sexy older woman.
  222. 22:48:26: <Goatwright> If only he wasn't such a nerd.
  223. 22:48:30: <viejo> oy vey
  224. 22:48:40: <viejo> How far to the colony?
  225. 22:49:17: <Goatwright> Not too far. As he trees begin to thin out and give you a better view of the sky, some may notice something off in the distance.
  226. 22:49:22: <Goatwright> Some who happen to roll SPACE ALERTNESS
  227. 22:49:30: <Goatwright> (FIRST ROLL OF THE GAME OY VEY)
  228. 22:49:38: <Rainglove> 4df-1 WOO
  229. 22:49:38: <Hippocratesi> THERE'S SPACE ALERTNESS?
  230. 22:49:39: <BEIGE> Rainglove: WOO: -3 (4df-1=0, 4-, 0, 4-)
  231. 22:49:41: <Rainglove> YEAH
  232. 22:49:44: <BEIGE> NachtRuine: wotic: 3 (4df+3=3+, 0, 0, 4-)
  233. 22:49:44: <Goatwright> Normal alertness hippo
  234. 22:49:44: <NachtRuine> 4df+3 wotic
  235. 22:49:46: <Rainglove> Billy admires the trees
  236. 22:49:54: <viejo> 4df+2 alertness... in SPACE
  237. 22:49:54: <BEIGE> Viejo: alertness... in SPACE: 4 (4df+2=3+, 3+, 4-, 3+)
  238. 22:50:19: <Hippocratesi> 4df+1 THAT'S ME, GUYS
  239. 22:50:19: <BEIGE> Hippocratesi: THAT'S ME, GUYS: -1 (4df+1=4-, 0, 4-, 0)
  240. 22:50:26: <Hippocratesi> WHAT ARE EYES
  241. 22:50:37: <Rainglove> Billy points out a particularly interesting tree to mishaal
  242. 22:50:45: <viejo> Billy trips over his tentacles and shoots himself right in the squid.
  243. 22:50:55: <Rainglove> "I do not like that they are red but that one does look very nice"
  244. 22:51:21: <Hippocratesi> "It is very nice tree."
  245. 22:51:41: <Rainglove> Billy gives the nice tree a hug
  246. 22:52:12: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal just accepts this squishy thing is a weird fuck and looks back to the group.
  247. 22:53:23: <Benedict> 4df+3 I AM LATE
  248. 22:53:24: <BEIGE> Benedict: I AM LATE: 3 (4df+3=0, 3+, 0, 4-)
  249. 22:53:48: <NachtRuine> Cole looks over to the squid hugging a tree. "Billy, was it? Try not to hug something when you don't know if it'll attack you."
  250. 22:54:08: <viejo> "It's a fairly bog standard tree, hug away, dear Billy."
  251. 22:55:37: <Rainglove> "How will I know if it will attack if I don't touch it?" Billy stops his hugging. "It seemed very stationary and it feels the same as most plants."
  252. 22:55:49: <viejo> "If you want to see aggressive plantlife, go over to Patagonia, old or new it doesn't matter."
  253. 22:56:15: <Goatwright> Those who got a 3 or higher see smoke in the distance.
  254. 22:56:24: <Goatwright> It also happens to be coming from the direction you're walking i.
  255. 22:56:27: <Goatwright> in*
  256. 22:57:20: <NachtRuine> "Smoke ahead, we're right on target."
  257. 22:57:56: <Benedict> Seir is sure they're just having a BBQ or something. Let's continue ahead.
  258. 22:58:07: <Rainglove> Billy wonders if he can access his ship's cameras somehow. He checks this with his whifflepad 974
  259. 23:01:36: <Benedict> Oy vey.
  260. 23:04:01: <Goatsmith> No need, Billy. As you all suddenly break through a clearing, you get a great view of what happened to the colony.
  261. 23:04:12: <Benedict> They're having a party, right?
  262. 23:04:26: <Rainglove> Billy prepares the party hats
  263. 23:06:02: <AndChat-576281> Rammed through the whole of the colony settlement, half of a massive interstellar ship is now lying at the end of a long path carved through the area.
  264. 23:06:26: <Benedict> Sounds like a wild party.
  265. 23:06:47: <Hippocratesi> "I must say, it is not what I expected."
  266. 23:06:56: <Rainglove> Billy looks for any functioning network bits.
  267. 23:07:09: <Rainglove> perhaps the source of the SOS
  268. 23:07:10: <viejo> After searching for misplaced hats.
  269. 23:07:23: <Rainglove> the party hats were returned to where billy keeps his hats
  270. 23:07:33: <Benedict> Could we tell what race/Alliance the ship belongs to with a glance?
  271. 23:07:36: <NachtRuine> "That is really unfortunate. What are the odds?"
  272. 23:07:39: <Goatsmith> Well, you would have to walk on over to it. It is, after all, at the end of a crater carved through a whole town.
  273. 23:07:43: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel takes a picture and sends it to the captain whatever the fuck his name was over the space equivalent of skype.
  274. 23:08:18: <Goatsmith> You can roll for it, shoar, Benny. Piloting or Engineering (Space)
  275. 23:08:38: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal begins down through the crater and towards the ship. What could go wrong?
  276. 23:09:01: <Benedict> 4df+3 Space engineering is good engineering.
  277. 23:09:01: <BEIGE> Benedict: Space engineering is good engineering.: 3 (4df+3=3+, 0, 0, 4-)
  278. 23:09:13: <viejo> Goat that wasn't a joke by the way.
  279. 23:09:24: <Goatsmith> Wot of you, Billy?
  280. 23:09:35: <Goatsmith> I know Viejo. You ain't got a response.
  281. 23:09:40: <Goatsmith> Not yet, anyway.
  282. 23:09:42: <Rainglove> 4df+4 Billy examines the photo over doc's shoulder
  283. 23:09:42: <BEIGE> Rainglove: Billy examines the photo over doc's shoulder: 2 (4df+4=0, 0, 4-, 4-)
  284. 23:09:45: <Rainglove> shit camera
  285. 23:10:11: <NachtRuine> Cole looks around to see if there are any survivors in the mess.
  286. 23:10:44: <Goatsmith> Well, neither of you are exactly certain what the ship is. Seir, you're are least sure it isn't an ICA ship.
  287. 23:10:53: <Goatsmith> That doesn't narrow it down much, though.
  288. 23:11:09: <Rainglove> perhaps if he can find a black box or a functioning monitor or something billy can sort it out
  289. 23:11:19: <Rainglove> in the meantime, he approaches the ship
  290. 23:11:24: <viejo> Sneaky squid cunt.
  291. 23:11:25: <Rainglove> or the wrecked town
  292. 23:11:39: <Benedict> "It's not one of our ships. Maybe Empire or Coalition. Do any of you know what alliances border this planet." Seir asks while approaching the ship.
  293. 23:11:55: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal calls out, "Anyone here? We've come to help!"
  294. 23:12:14: <Rainglove> "Your camera is quite low quality doctor perhaps you should find a new one."
  295. 23:12:21: <viejo> 'Quite the mess down here, see picture attached. We're investigating, if you have any specific instructions please advise.' Is his message to the captain.
  296. 23:12:48: <viejo> "The camera is quite sufficient, thank you."
  297. 23:12:55: <Benedict> Doctor Jew should include in the message that it is not an ICA ship.
  298. 23:13:22: <viejo> 'Not an ICA ship according to Seir.' He adds on.
  299. 23:13:30: <Goatsmith> The town is, unfortunately, utterly destroyed. Looks like Mayhalis got it right. Between the dying fires and the huge slabs of metal everywhere, everyone seems to be dead.
  300. 23:13:35: <viejo> He then goes and slithers on over for a poke around.
  301. 23:13:57: <Goatsmith> Jeisswessel receives a simple 'Fuck', followed by a 'Look around'.
  302. 23:13:57: <Benedict> Where's the door to this ship?
  303. 23:13:59: <viejo> Are they all dead by explosion/fiery causes etc.?
  304. 23:14:19: <Goatsmith> You haven't found any bodies, oddly enough, so you're not sure.
  305. 23:14:35: <viejo> Dr. Jeisswessel hums, he goes to search near a destroyed house, surely there would be bodies there.
  306. 23:15:12: <Hippocratesi> "No answer. And no bodies." Mishaal mumbles, searching through the rubble a bit. Maybe he'll find something.
  307. 23:15:31: <Benedict> Who cares about bodies when we got a ship right here.
  308. 23:15:33: <Rainglove> "One should never settle for sufficiency in one's own equipment we need only look to the great hero the man of bats to know the value of high-quality gear" Billy floats along towards the ship, watching to see is his crap-pad finds any potentially meaningful devices.
  309. 23:15:41: <NachtRuine> Cole joins Mishaal in searching in rubble. There's gotta be someone to find.
  310. 23:15:56: <Goatsmith> As you all approach the ship, you notice how large the ship really is. Maybe a dozen or more floors worth of ship are now embedded into the earth at an angle.
  311. 23:17:30: <Benedict> Fuckin' beautiful, man. Any bodies around or in the ship? Or maybe a god damn door to enter the ship?
  312. 23:17:47: <Goatsmith> You manage to find a hallway that's exposed from the ship. If you want to enter, this may give you answers.
  313. 23:17:59: <viejo> Dr. enters.
  314. 23:18:16: <Benedict> Well, he certainly isn't going to enter alone. "We should look inside the ship. Might get answers." Seir shouts to his crew in a complete monotone.
  315. 23:18:23: <Benedict> Somehow.
  316. 23:18:24: <viejo> "I'm afraid my equipment will just have to pale in comparison to this champion of bats for now."
  317. 23:18:36: <Benedict> What the hell is a bat, anyway?
  318. 23:18:46: <viejo> If it's dark and spoopy Dr. puts on his flashlight app on his phone device.
  319. 23:18:51: <Goatsmith> Who knows.
  320. 23:19:00: <Benedict> Is it like a penguin?
  321. 23:19:20: <Goatsmith> What's that?
  322. 23:19:23: <NachtRuine> Cole gives up on searching for people and goes with the rest towards the ship. "This thing's massive. Any idea how it crashed?"
  323. 23:19:59: <Benedict> A giant, hairy beast with two arms and two legs. It feasts on the bones of children.
  324. 23:20:00: <Goatsmith> There aren't any bodies around here, either. All this carnage and not a body in sight.
  325. 23:20:17: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal joins them as well. "Maybe it was attacked. Or it was some sort of failure."
  326. 23:20:29: <Benedict> There's probably signs on the ship pointing out how to get to certain places, right? Like a computer room or a command room?
  327. 23:21:05: <Benedict> "What was it doing in ICA territory."
  328. 23:21:09: <Goatsmith> Doc enters. The halls are certainly wider than the Marriott, Doc. And the power seems to be cut out, with the occasional spark eminating from broken wall panels.
  329. 23:21:37: <viejo> Dr. sends another message to the captain. 'Quick search of initial crash-zone has revealed no bodies. Seems odd. Entering the ship for more information.'
  330. 23:21:57: <viejo> Is the hallway/electricity dangerous at all or can he safely tentacle-movement ahead?
  331. 23:22:05: <Goatsmith> This time he receives a reply instantly. 'Footprints?'
  332. 23:22:25: <viejo> Dr. frowns at the message and continues on inside.
  333. 23:22:28: <Goatsmith> For now, at least, it's navigatable. Kinda hard with the slant and the clutter, but safe.
  334. 23:23:25: <Benedict> No signs about pointing out how to get to certain parts of the ship?
  335. 23:23:29: <viejo> He decides to not be a dick and reply. 'Not that I saw, environment doesn't seem the sort to yield distinguishable footprints, unless we are in the company of a master tracker.'
  336. 23:23:42: <viejo> Thank god he can type absurdly fast with his mechanical hand.
  337. 23:23:59: <Hippocratesi> "There are no bodies even inside of ship. Were they vaporized? Eaten?" Mishaal takes another look around.
  338. 23:24:47: <Goatsmith> Nope, Seir. Maybe that means something? Roll for it.
  339. 23:25:10: <Goatsmith> Doc gets a reply, 'Ask Abe'
  340. 23:26:02: <Benedict> Roll what?
  341. 23:26:13: <Goatsmith> Engineering, ship stuff, goy
  342. 23:26:36: <BEIGE> Benedict: Time for more engineering, goyim.: 5 (4df+3=0, 3+, 0, 3+)
  343. 23:26:36: <Benedict> 4df+3 Time for more engineering, goyim.
  344. 23:28:57: <Goatsmith> Aha! Seir's seen this before, from his time working stations. Ships operating under stealth clauses generally don't list such details, instead simply giving the crew lessons on the layout.
  345. 23:29:43: <Goatsmith> That means this ship was doing something sneaky.
  346. 23:31:54: <NachtRuine> 4df+5 i got dis
  347. 23:31:54: <BEIGE> NachtRuine: i got dis: 3 (4df+5=4-, 4-, 4-, 3+)
  348. 23:32:17: <BEIGE> Hippocratesi: 3 (4df+3=3+, 0, 4-, 0)
  349. 23:32:17: <Hippocratesi> 4df+3
  350. 23:32:26: <Benedict> "This ship was probably spying on the planet. Makes me wonder why they were looking at this one. We're have to look for any specific rooms on our own."
  351. 23:33:58: <Goatsmith> Abe, the ground has some consistent imprints around areas of the crater, but none so clear as to give foot shape/size. The ground's just too soft.
  352. 23:34:21: <Goatsmith> Mishaal, you notice similar, akin to the tracks your herds made. Stomped it flat, only leaving a trail.
  353. 23:36:10: <viejo> Has Dr. J found anything interesting inside the ship?
  354. 23:36:38: <Goatsmith> Does he got dat ALERTNESS?
  355. 23:36:46: <Benedict> Seir is gonna investigate further inside this ship with his pulse laser out. Hopefully he'll find something neat.
  356. 23:36:49: <Hippocratesi> "Abe. Do you see these?" Mishaal gestures to the prints. "Most likely animal prints. Similar to herd's back home."
  357. 23:37:06: <NachtRuine> "Something has been here. That's for sure."
  358. 23:37:22: <viejo> 4df+2 well, does he?
  359. 23:37:23: <BEIGE> Viejo: well, does he?: 5 (4df+2=0, 3+, 3+, 3+)
  360. 23:37:26: <viejo> :^)
  361. 23:38:10: <Hippocratesi> "Perhaps more than one."
  362. 23:39:23: <Goatsmith> Even among the sparks and grinding metal, Jeisswessel hears the whirring of something up in a corner as he hits a bend in the hall.
  363. 23:40:15: <Goatsmith> It's.. a camera?
  364. 23:40:37: <viejo> He investigates. "Seir, I am to understand you are competent with electronics?"
  365. 23:40:49: <Goatsmith> A red light remains on, as it follows his movements.
  366. 23:41:18: <viejo> He takes a picture and sends it to the captain. 'Now isn't this quaint. The camera follows my movements.'
  367. 23:41:36: <Benedict> Seir looks back to the Jew, moving up to him, then looking at the camera. "The camera is on."
  368. 23:41:57: <Goatsmith> 10/10 observation
  369. 23:42:01: <Goatsmith> Stellar
  370. 23:42:10: <Hippocratesi> "Shall we go inside and warn others? This thing may still be here."
  371. 23:42:42: <viejo> "Yes, evidently, and following our movement. Is there anything you can do with this? Or you, Billy?"
  372. 23:43:01: <Benedict> Well, can he, Mister GM?
  373. 23:43:10: <viejo> "I am afraid I must admit my technological competence is not my strong-suit."
  374. 23:43:36: <NachtRuine> "Good call. Let's go."
  375. 23:43:38: <viejo> Meanwhile Billy humps and squidjaculates over a dislodged segment of wall.
  376. 23:44:56: <Rainglove> Billy takes a look around, recovering from his accident. He examines the camera, checking to see if any sort of networks have popped up. If the camera is blinking, the ship obviously still has power.
  377. 23:46:11: <Goatsmith> But with the lack of other lights and the sparking, why is only this one on?
  378. 23:46:36: <Rainglove> Well presumably because it has a battery
  379. 23:46:41: <Benedict> Should we use repair or something to learn about it?
  380. 23:46:44: <Goatsmith> gg
  381. 23:46:45: <viejo> Shut up and roll, nerd.
  382. 23:46:53: <Rainglove> WHAT ROLL
  383. 23:46:54: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal enters the ship again, finding Seir and the Doctor because fuck asking. "We found prints in crater outside. They belong to something, we are not sure what."
  384. 23:47:13: <Goatsmith> Roll Repair, Benny, and Rain can try Communications for the network check
  385. 23:47:14: <Hippocratesi> "Anything in here?"
  386. 23:47:22: <BEIGE> Rainglove: pls: 5 (4df+5=0, 4-, 0, 3+)
  387. 23:47:22: <Rainglove> 4df+5 pls
  388. 23:47:28: <viejo> Dr. J relays the info about the camera.
  389. 23:47:38: <Benedict> 4df+4 Please love me do
  390. 23:47:39: <BEIGE> Benedict: Please love me do: 3 (4df+4=3+, 4-, 0, 4-)
  391. 23:48:16: <Rainglove> Tagging overqualified because jesus we need to tag SOMETHING with all these fate points
  392. 23:48:57: <Goatsmith> You notice wires connecting to the back of the camera that happen to still be in tact.
  393. 23:49:27: <Goatsmith> Billy, there's no broadcasting signal coming from the camera or the ship, meaning the network would likely have to be hardwired.
  394. 23:49:58: <Goatsmith> But if it's hardwired, you can maybe follow that trail to somewhere important, like a computer room
  395. 23:50:20: <Rainglove> Billy examines the camera, looking for a network port or something similar.
  396. 23:50:56: <Goatsmith> He does find one, and it's in tact.
  397. 23:51:00: <Hippocratesi> "Maybe camera will give answers?"
  398. 23:51:02: <Goatsmith> Wire and all
  399. 23:51:17: <Benedict> Where is it leading us, GM?
  400. 23:51:34: <Rainglove> Billy tugs on the wire, wondering if whatever's on the other side is still securely bolted to whatever it was bolted to
  401. 23:51:34: <Goatsmith> Doc J doesn't get any sort of response. Guess Cap'n doesn't know anything.
  402. 23:51:49: <Rainglove> GENTLE tug
  403. 23:51:52: <Rainglove> not wire ripping tug
  404. 23:52:38: <Goatsmith> Something behind the wall rattles as the wire moves a bit. Seems loose.
  405. 23:52:52: <Goatsmith> The camera flails a bit in response to being manhandled.
  406. 23:53:16: <Rainglove> "Does anyone have some sort of cutting laser they could use without damaging the equipment behind the wall?"
  407. 23:53:36: <Goatsmith> PAGING DOCTOR JAMSWISHLE
  408. 23:53:47: <Benedict> "I have a laser I use for mech repairs, but I don't think it will help here."
  409. 23:54:28: <Rainglove> "If it can cut metal it should suffice I do not think the walls are very secure after falling from orbit"
  410. 23:55:11: <viejo> What do they want with the good doctor?
  411. 23:55:13: <Rainglove> "The large one may be able to simply smash it in but that would risk damaging the cables behind it and I would rather avoid that"
  412. 23:55:27: <Rainglove> 18:52 Goatsmith Something behind the wall rattles as the wire moves a bit. Seems loose.
  413. 23:55:31: <viejo> Would one of his utensils be useful?
  414. 23:55:40: <Benedict> Does he have a cutting laser?
  415. 23:55:53: <viejo> I'm not sure. Up to goat really.
  416. 23:56:00: <Rainglove> we wish to pierce the walls with your dri- laser
  417. 23:56:10: <viejo> I'd imagine he has a small one for making cuts on specimens?
  418. 23:56:11: <Goatsmith> Well
  419. 23:56:22: <Goatsmith> He has a damn sword he's highly trained in us
  420. 23:56:28: <Goatsmith> the use of*
  421. 23:56:41: <viejo> doesn't it need to be
  422. 23:56:42: <viejo> delicate
  423. 23:56:47: <viejo> not sliceyslice with my sword
  424. 23:57:00: <Rainglove> go full ninja
  425. 23:57:04: <Goatsmith> WELL
  426. 23:57:13: <Goatsmith> Yes he has small scalpels in his arm also
  427. 23:57:15: <Rainglove> four lightning-quick cuts
  428. 23:57:57: <viejo> One of Dr. J's mechanical left fingers transforms into a neat little scalpel. "Will this suffice?" He holds his hand up.
  429. 23:58:24: <Rainglove> "Well there is only one way to find out" Billy points towards the rattly bit
  430. 23:58:32: <viejo> Dr. J makes the cut.
  431. 23:59:23: <Goatsmith> Let's make it interesting. Roll Close Combat, with a +1 from your biology experience in delicate cuts
  432. 23:59:27: <Rainglove> "I am hoping this is some sort of communications hub or something that will otherwise direct us towards the black box or bridge of this ship" Billy chatters idly as he waits for the doc to give the ship a C section
  433. 00:00:47: <Rainglove> "There are no wireless transmissions within range of my device and I am currently in contact with my ship in the upper atmosphere and so I must assume this ship is entirely hardwired which is oddly archaic"
  434. 00:01:13: <Benedict> "It is a stealth ship."
  435. 00:01:50: <Rainglove> "If I am able to see it it is not very stealthy"
  436. 00:02:01: <Goatsmith> Mishaal, something sharp suddenly prods you in the rear end.
  437. 00:03:06: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal, the least gay man on this crew, growls a bit and swings around to see what the hell just poked his butthole. WHAT COULD IT BE?
  438. 00:03:35: <Goatsmith> He thinks he sees something skitter behind a wall as soon as he turns.
  439. 00:04:00: <Goatsmith> Compelling Kuotagh to have him shoot at it as a gut reaction if a LEGENDARY WARRIOR
  440. 00:05:05: <BEIGE> Viejo: 3 (4df+5=3+, 4-, 4-, 4-)
  441. 00:05:05: <viejo> 4df+5
  442. 00:05:08: <viejo> lol
  443. 00:06:11: <Rainglove> Billy attempts to hold his squid breath in anticipation, then remembers that he has a tank breathing for him
  444. 00:06:12: <Rainglove> oh well
  445. 00:06:17: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal goes with it, going into a temporary rage. No one pokes HIS anus!
  446. 00:06:41: <Goatsmith> You move in to cut it, but the sudden blast of Mishaals shotgun causes him to jolt. He cuts it, and the camera stays in tact, but you can feel it slacken from inside the wall.
  447. 00:06:41: <Hippocratesi> 4df+4 i believe i roll to shoot?
  448. 00:06:42: <BEIGE> Hippocratesi: i believe i roll to shoot?: 6 (4df+4=0, 3+, 3+, 0)
  449. 00:06:44: <Hippocratesi> oh
  450. 00:06:49: <Rainglove> sweet jesus
  451. 00:06:53: <Hippocratesi> i don't roll for that
  452. 00:07:07: <viejo> Why are people shootign?
  453. 00:07:08: <Rainglove> "Oh that does not seem good"
  454. 00:07:37: <viejo> Dr. J sighs.
  455. 00:07:38: <NachtRuine> Upon hearing a shot, Cole perks up with his needlegun. "Do we have a contact?"
  456. 00:07:40: <Goatsmith> Also, Mishaal's shotgun tears through the panel, knocking it down. The flash of the muzzle momentarily illuminates a figure that quickly scuttles away, tapping with each step.
  457. 00:07:48: <Hippocratesi> "/Something is here./"
  458. 00:07:54: <Goatsmith> You can hear it disappear further behind the series of in tact walls.
  459. 00:07:56: <Hippocratesi> fucking italics please work
  460. 00:08:02: <Rainglove> "It has not eaten you yet calm yourself"
  461. 00:08:02: <viejo> "Not sure that did the trick, but that's what I've got."
  462. 00:08:05: <Goatsmith> It was rather small, you note.
  463. 00:08:11: <Rainglove> Billy peers through the doctor's cut
  464. 00:08:27: <Rainglove> MUH CABLE
  465. 00:08:32: <viejo> "Ah good, life-forms after all. Perhaps we can acquire a specimen should they prove of interest."
  466. 00:09:03: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal cocks his shotgun. "We kill the one that poked me."
  467. 00:09:12: <viejo> "We do nothing of the sort."
  468. 00:09:53: <Goatsmith> What is he looking for?
  469. 00:09:56: <Goatsmith> Billy, that is
  470. 00:09:56: <NachtRuine> Cole relaxes upon not being in immediate danger. "Billy, how's the network thingamajig?"
  471. 00:10:07: <Hippocratesi> "Surely there's more for you to slice open, Doctor."
  472. 00:10:08: <Rainglove> whatever was behind the panel that rattled
  473. 00:10:11: <Benedict> "If we can knock it out, we can let Doctor Jew keep it as a pet."
  474. 00:10:42: <viejo> "I work on life subjects with organs and fleshy matter, not electronics."
  475. 00:10:46: <viejo> live*
  476. 00:10:53: <Goatsmith> The fixture holding the wire up along the wall was knocked loose.
  477. 00:11:34: <Rainglove> "If it is electronic in nature I will be most interested in it" Billy attempts to determine where the wire actually goes.
  478. 00:11:44: <Rainglove> Also where the thing went, if it disappeared back here.
  479. 00:12:36: <viejo> Dr. J goes slithering off to wherever the big oaf fired off to. "Hello, is anyone there?" He calls out.
  480. 00:12:58: <Goatsmith> Billy, you see the wire runs a bit down the left turn of this hall. You're pretty sure that's the same direction the thing scuttled in.
  481. 00:13:02: <Benedict> Nurel- I mean Seir sets his laser to knock out. AKA "Attack Composure".
  482. 00:13:24: <Rainglove> Billy slides out from the panel and points with a tentacle. "The hub appears to be in that direction"
  483. 00:13:32: <viejo> Dr. J wishes he had an app for detecting movement.
  484. 00:13:41: <Goatsmith> Unfortunately, as the halls head further into the interior of the ship, they're a bit more in tact. You'll have to remove a few walls to see which ways it goes, once you reach another bend.
  485. 00:13:43: <viejo> Like that film, Space Alien.
  486. 00:14:01: <Rainglove> "If we wish to discover what caused this I believe that to be our best option though if any of you have a better idea I will gladly hear it"
  487. 00:14:19: <Benedict> "I don't have any ideas."
  488. 00:14:27: <viejo> "It seems the best choice with what we've got, a wild goose chase after that creature would not be wise."
  489. 00:14:31: <Rainglove> Billy heads over to the bend and looks down the hall for anything resembling an access panel or maintenance hatch of some sort
  490. 00:15:38: <viejo> Dr. J texts his bae. 'Encountered a life form on the ship, Mishaal opened fire rather carelessly. I am sure you hired the best of the best, captain. Regardless, Billy has found a means to trace the wiring to the one active camera.'
  491. 00:15:49: <Goatsmith> You find a staircase, Billy.
  492. 00:16:06: <Goatsmith> That works, right?
  493. 00:16:13: <Benedict> Is it a nice staircase?
  494. 00:16:45: <Rainglove> "I do not believe we really have a way to trace the cable any great length without ripping out every inch of flooring between here and the communications hub"
  495. 00:16:54: <Goatsmith> Dr. J gets, 'Well I hired you, right? |:^) lol! Please engage it'
  496. 00:17:53: <viejo> Dr. J turns off space skype for the time being.
  497. 00:18:01: <Goatsmith> Haha.
  498. 00:18:42: <NachtRuine> "What about looking for more cameras?"
  499. 00:18:50: <Goatsmith> The staircase is not overly nice. One heads up, while the other goes down
  500. 00:19:08: <Goatsmith> Going further down would literally lead them into dirt, so.
  501. 00:19:19: <Benedict> "Should we head up."
  502. 00:19:24: <viejo> Dr. J decides to slither on up. "We may as well investigate if tracing the camera via its wires is a hopeless task."
  503. 00:19:37: <Rainglove> "If we can find more functioning cameras that may also work but searching for the communications hub would be more productive then searching for cameras although we may be able to use the cameras as guides should we reach a fork"
  504. 00:20:17: <NachtRuine> "I'd say up's our bet." He follows the doc.
  505. 00:20:21: <viejo> Does Dr. J slither upon anything useful?
  506. 00:21:08: <Benedict> Moving on up, moving on up.
  507. 00:21:11: <Goatsmith> He hears some heavy clanking sounds coming from further up the stairs, somewhere down the hall it leads to
  508. 00:21:19: <Goatsmith> It's rather slow sounding
  509. 00:21:25: <Rainglove> "On a ship such as this it is uncertain whether or not I will actually be able to access the hub though in that case we could simply locate the black box as it would be very very odd for such a thing to be encrypted at all" billy continues prattling on
  510. 00:21:49: <Rainglove> Billy follows along with the group as he rambles
  511. 00:22:05: <viejo> Dr. J continues to slither, now in the direction of the plot.
  512. 00:22:27: <viejo> By which I mean towards the clanking, not just standing stationary, to make it clear. :^)
  513. 00:22:55: <Goatsmith> Ow :[
  514. 00:23:53: <Goatsmith> The first thing Jeiss sees is a laser. Then, a bright light, coming from what appears to be a large, armed robot.
  515. 00:24:07: <Goatsmith> It buzzes, staring at him, still.
  516. 00:24:26: <Benedict> Oh boy. A robot.
  517. 00:25:50: <Goatsmith> "PLEASE PRESENT YOUR I.D. CARD."
  518. 00:26:40: <viejo> Dr. J freezes and prepares to dive for cover, however he answers first. "I do not possess an I.D. card to my knowledge. The ship you are on has crash-landed and we are investigating the wreckage. Please put down your weapon, we pose no threat."
  519. 00:26:56: <Benedict> Seir looks around on the floor, maybe there is an abandoned keycard somewhere hopefully maybe?
  520. 00:27:02: <viejo> Time for his relatives to gain all his hard-earnt shekels ;(
  521. 00:27:58: <Goatsmith> You can almost hear the gears grind in its head, before it presents its rifle in response. Boy, that's a big rifle.
  522. 00:28:09: <Goatsmith> "PLEASE PRESENT YOUR I.D. CARD."
  523. 00:28:16: <Benedict> Well, screw looking for an ID card, time to hide.
  524. 00:28:59: <Benedict> "I presented my ID card to you an hour ago." Seir tries for it.
  525. 00:29:05: <viejo> "Randomly assorted crew, a rather large and unfriendly robot has a rifle pointed at me. If you have any ideas now would be the time for them."
  526. 00:29:27: <Rainglove> Could billy perhaps roll to know about this thing
  527. 00:29:28: <Goatsmith> It whirrs, turning to look at Seir.
  528. 00:29:38: <Goatsmith> "WHAT IS YOUR NAME."
  529. 00:29:46: <viejo> Dr. J is somewhat upset by this turn of events. He didn't ask for this. He wishes he was back on New Patagonia experiencing feels with the rest of his species about Old Patagonia. He wishes he was doing science with a cute tentacled grill.
  530. 00:30:04: <Goatsmith> Roll what? He ain't some robot expert.
  531. 00:30:25: <Rainglove> He knows about COMPUTERS
  532. 00:30:25: <Benedict> Seir uses the first name he can think of. "Bob Johnson."
  533. 00:30:41: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal stays silent for the moment. He's honestly not sure what to do other than shoot it, which may lead to the deaths of some of his crewmates.
  534. 00:31:11: <Rainglove> Billy keeps his squishy squidy self as far behind the wall as he can while still being able to see what's happening
  535. 00:31:12: <viejo> Dr. J takes a picture of the robot on his iPhone (he already had it out with a flash light so no sudden movements) and sends it to the captain. 'How's this for "lol!"?'
  536. 00:31:14: <Goatsmith> Well Billy, go ahead.
  537. 00:32:15: <Goatsmith> Computers or Comms can be rolled
  538. 00:32:26: <Benedict> Don't fail us, Billy.
  539. 00:32:40: <Goatsmith> Benny you have the former
  540. 00:32:41: <viejo> Don't get the good doctor get shot, Billy.
  541. 00:32:45: <Rainglove> 4df+7 Tagging military man
  542. 00:32:45: <BEIGE> Rainglove: Tagging military man: 7 (4df+7=4-, 0, 0, 3+)
  543. 00:32:56: <Benedict> Noice.
  544. 00:33:09: <viejo> You verbally reprogram the robot into becoming a sexbot.
  545. 00:33:19: <viejo> Billy proceeds to sqoitus with it.
  546. 00:34:55: <Goatsmith> Well Billy, you know there's a computer in it. With the lack of a wireless network in mind, you're aware there's probably no online connection to it. Which means you can't hack it short of getting on itnl
  547. 00:35:36: <Benedict> Seir repeats himself. "My name is Bob Johnson. With me are new crew members who still need their IDs made. Could you get the IDs for them?"
  548. 00:35:48: <Goatsmith> Doc hardly has time to notice the phonecall as some lights suddenly pop out from the wall, basking the hall in red as the gun of the robot goes up.
  549. 00:36:11: <Goatsmith> "SPECIES: HUMAN PROBABLE. I.D. NOT PRESENT. ENGAGE."
  550. 00:36:13: <viejo> Dr. J dives for cover.
  551. 00:36:26: <viejo> "Duck, Bob!"
  552. 00:36:34: <Goatsmith> Seir, roll you some AGILITY or something.
  553. 00:36:59: <Benedict> 4df+1 Time to die.
  554. 00:37:00: <BEIGE> Benedict: Time to die.: 3 (4df+1=0, 0, 3+, 3+)
  555. 00:37:08: <viejo> Time to fly.
  556. 00:37:28: <Rainglove> Billy puts his head back behind the wall. "If we can incapacitate it without overly harming it I may be able to access a map from its on-board controller"
  557. 00:38:00: <Goatsmith> The robot fires on Seir, lighting him UP.
  558. 00:38:01: <viejo> "Let us disarm the robot then!"
  559. 00:38:05: <BEIGE> Goatsmith: 2 (4df+3=4-, 4-, 0, 3+)
  560. 00:38:05: <Goatsmith> 4df+3
  561. 00:38:22: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal will possibly take 'disarm' literally.
  562. 00:38:26: <Benedict> I feel safe. Am I safe?
  563. 00:38:31: <Goatsmith> Roll woteva skill you can defend with
  564. 00:38:40: <Goatsmith> No, I reduced penetration
  565. 00:38:40: <viejo> He rolled agility.
  566. 00:38:45: <Goatsmith> Oh he did
  567. 00:38:58: <Goatsmith> Yes, he is safe.
  568. 00:38:59: <Benedict> I rolled myself a 3.
  569. 00:39:03: <Rainglove> Can I perhaps use that seven to IDENTIFY WEAK POINTS or something similar?
  570. 00:39:03: <Benedict> Yaaaaay.
  571. 00:39:04: <viejo> (sun)
  572. 00:39:27: <Benedict> Seir sinks further into his hiding spot once the spot barely misses him. Today is not a good day to be Nintir.
  573. 00:39:35: <viejo> Can I close the space between them with agiltiy and attempt to cut towards the gun? Either his arm off or at the gun.
  574. 00:40:12: <Goatsmith> No, it's limited to your knowledge of computers goy
  575. 00:40:22: <Goatsmith> You probably know that those systems are probably not very strong
  576. 00:40:25: <Goatsmith> You have that
  577. 00:40:32: <Hippocratesi> 4df+4 I-I guess I shoot it now?
  578. 00:40:32: <BEIGE> Hippocratesi: I-I guess I shoot it now?: 1 (4df+4=0, 4-, 4-, 4-)
  579. 00:40:34: <Rainglove> well gatdamnblit Billy remains out of the way
  580. 00:40:46: <Rainglove> billy also gets out of the way of the maniac with a gun he doesn't know how to use
  581. 00:41:09: <Goatsmith> You can, Veejo. At least, attack it. Reduce penetration by 2 if you have any
  582. 00:41:35: <Goatsmith> 4df+2 I AM ACTUALLY QUITE AGILE
  583. 00:41:36: <BEIGE> Goatsmith: I AM ACTUALLY QUITE AGILE: 2 (4df+2=0, 0, 4-, 3+)
  584. 00:41:51: <viejo> How often do fate points refresh?
  585. 00:42:06: <Rainglove> once per session or on being compelled
  586. 00:42:10: <Rainglove> you have 5
  587. 00:42:13: <Goatsmith> The robot's legs extend, stepping away from the blastn
  588. 00:42:44: <Goatsmith> "SURRENDER NOW OR PREPARE TO FIGHT."
  589. 00:42:54: <viejo> can I use a fate point to buff agility or do I need to "tag" it to buff?
  590. 00:42:57: <Rainglove> Theme songs begin playing in Billy's head
  591. 00:43:39: <Goatsmith> You use fate points to tag your aspects, which give you the bonuses, but you'd need a relevant aspect
  592. 00:43:50: <viejo> 4df+4 welp time to engage
  593. 00:43:50: <BEIGE> Viejo: welp time to engage: 5 (4df+4=3+, 0, 4-, 3+)
  594. 00:43:59: <viejo> ZIPZAPZOO
  595. 00:44:41: <viejo> I would like to attempt to disarm the butt
  596. 00:44:44: <Goatsmith> Which roll is that?
  597. 00:44:48: <viejo> agility
  598. 00:44:49: <Benedict> Do I need to reduce my roll if I'm hitting with energy weapon?
  599. 00:46:58: <Goatsmith> You cannot flat out disarm it, but what you CAN do is smack it to throw off his aim, which is a free taggable +2 to your defensive roll
  600. 00:47:07: <Goatsmith> One free tag by anybody
  601. 00:47:22: <viejo> Can I literally grab hold of the gun to keep it pointed away?
  602. 00:47:47: <viejo> can I tag my robot arm for extra strength in the matter?
  603. 00:47:48: <Goatsmith> Yes, for the above result
  604. 00:47:59: <Goatsmith> You already rolled ya goob
  605. 00:48:01: <Goatsmith> And won
  606. 00:48:05: <viejo> That was agility
  607. 00:48:10: <Benedict> 4df+2+2+1 I think I am doing this energy weapon attacking right?
  608. 00:48:10: <BEIGE> Benedict: I think I am doing this energy weapon attacking right?: 3 (4df+2+2+1=4-, 3+, 4-, 4-)
  609. 00:48:43: <Goatsmith> Oh yes. Stamina, then! And you can indeed tag your arm.
  610. 00:49:01: <viejo> I think we need a turn order because people are just doing random actions
  611. 00:49:23: <Hippocratesi> we don't really have anything like initiative though
  612. 00:49:33: <Rainglove> alertness is initiative
  613. 00:49:54: <BEIGE> Viejo: tagging robot arm, holding weapon away from goyims: 7 (4df+5=3+, 4-, 3+, 3+)

  619. 00:51:16: <viejo> "Mishaal! You're a pretty big guy! Please help me restrain the murderous robot!"
  620. 00:52:06: <Rainglove> Billy takes the opportunity to close the distance to the robot and look for some sort of access plate
  621. 00:52:17: <Goatsmith> Also, the robutt is hit by Seir
  622. 00:53:22: <Benedict> Yaaaaay.

  670. 01:08:20: <Rainglove> it is incapacitated in some way
  671. 01:08:23: <Rainglove> incapable of fighting
  672. 01:08:42: <Benedict> You could just have it like, shut down.
  673. 01:08:42: <viejo> Well considering he was grappling it with that arm when it transformed, he probably cuts its arms off
  674. 01:09:32: <Goatsmith> Its arms are off. With Mishaal still in its face, it can't seem to get away.
  675. 01:09:44: <Goatsmith> Actually, now that you realize it, it isn't trying.
  676. 01:09:57: <Goatsmith> It's still trying to shoot you, with no arms.
  677. 01:10:02: <Goatsmith> "STOP RESISTING."
  678. 01:10:13: <viejo> "The doctor is in! I'm glad I paid attention in HSBC class."
  679. 01:10:28: <Rainglove> Billy continues looking for a goddamn access port. "We may need to cut a way into its processing area" he indicates wherever that is.
  680. 01:10:37: <Goatsmith> "THE DOCTOR IS KILL."
  681. 01:10:53: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal guffaws at the dumb machine. "Was good fun! You fight well, Doctor!"
  682. 01:10:54: <Goatsmith> It pantomimes shooting at the Doc, armless and all.
  683. 01:10:58: <Benedict> Seir decides it is safe to stop hiding, and does just that."
  684. 01:11:28: <Goatsmith> "FREEZE BOB JOHNSON."
  685. 01:11:31: <viejo> "Very solid punch, why I think that loose eye socket might even be your handiwork!"
  686. 01:11:50: <Benedict> "My name is Seir."
  687. 01:11:53: <Goatsmith> Billy, you don't seem to find an access hatch. You find something, however, on its back.
  688. 01:12:01: <Goatsmith> Anybody with repair, ROLL IT.
  689. 01:12:04: <viejo> "This poor robot's going to be terminated with a false name on its mechanical lips. Where did you even get Bob Johnson from, Seir?"
  690. 01:12:05: <Rainglove> Billy also stuffs a hat into whatever its voice is coming out of
  691. 01:12:14: <Rainglove> 4df+2
  692. 01:12:15: <BEIGE> Rainglove: 4 (4df+2=0, 3+, 3+, 0)

  695. 01:12:19: <BEIGE> Benedict: Seir knows how to repair things.: 4 (4df+4=4-, 0, 3+, 0)
  696. 01:12:32: <viejo> Squid and Goblin combine!
  697. 01:12:34: <NachtRuine> "I didn't know we had a friggin' Terminator in the group." He motions to reference the fucking sword for a hand.
  698. 01:12:35: <Benedict> "It's just Seir. Bob Johnson was promoted and moved to another ship."
  699. 01:12:39: <viejo> They repair each others' broken hearts. <3
  700. 01:12:50: <Benedict> Seir doesn't know what a terminator is.
  701. 01:13:08: <Goatsmith> You both notice weld marks along in a rectangular shape on its back. They look fresh. Very fresh.
  702. 01:13:35: <Rainglove> "Someone seems to have done what I am about to attempt very recently and this is rather concerning"
  703. 01:13:51: <Benedict> Seir doesn't know who did it or what they did it for, but he's going to open that shit up with one of his hand tools.
  704. 01:14:06: <Hippocratesi> "You are saying someone else has hacked robot already?"
  705. 01:14:14: <Goatsmith> Well it's welded, so you'd have to cut it open again.
  706. 01:14:22: <Rainglove> "It would make sense as the panel has recently been replaced"
  707. 01:14:35: <Rainglove> "Whether it was before or after the ship crash remains to be seen but I may be able to find out"
  708. 01:14:46: <Benedict> Seir has a tool for that.
  709. 01:14:52: <Rainglove> Billy makes room for the welder
  710. 01:15:04: <viejo> Dr. J's arm transforms back. "Well, I tried to make it as efficient as possible. The hand is based upon a human's, funnily enough, grants me one extra digit on my left. I can tell you, that took a while for my brain to get around." He holds both hands up and wiggles his digits for demonstration.
  711. 01:15:22: <Goatsmith> Billy, you notice the head on the robot is a little loose from being punched.
  712. 01:15:52: <Rainglove> Billy checks to see if there's anything under or around the head area that may have weakened it enough to be punched partially off.
  713. 01:16:13: <Rainglove> if not the bearman gains +2 respect
  714. 01:16:18: <Benedict> Seir is opening up that panel. Good thing he has all of these augmentations.
  715. 01:16:24: <viejo> Dr. J takes a picture of the Seir and Billy fussing over the armless robot and sends it to the captain. 'Are you sure we're being paid enough for this? I'm not so sure...'
  716. 01:16:40: <Goatsmith> Well, it is rather loose.
  717. 01:16:49: <Goatsmith> So loose, in fact..
  718. 01:17:33: <Goatsmith> Compelling Self-Made Squid to lose himself in what he's doing in the interest of wearing the head of the robot in the interests of his hat company. Maybe humans would like it. Very retro-era. Steampunk, righ
  719. 01:17:34: <Goatsmith> t?
  720. 01:17:44: <viejo> He uploads the picture to OGSA forums as well. 'Nearly blasted by a murderous robot on the first day of my new job! If you don't hear from me presume I'm dead.'
  721. 01:18:12: <Goatsmith> Or his neurotic aspect
  722. 01:19:28: <Rainglove> Billy pops the head off the robot and examines its hat-like properties more closely
  723. 01:20:11: <Goatsmith> Ah yes. It's hollow and head-shaped. But all those pesky wires are totally ruining its vibe. Better get those out.
  724. 01:20:20: <Benedict> Seir looks from the panel to the beheaded body of the robot, to the squid now holding the head. "Is there any point to me opening this panel now."
  725. 01:21:08: <Rainglove> Billy is actually rather perturbed by this and looks back at the welded panel
  726. 01:21:15: <Rainglove> then back at the head
  727. 01:21:26: <Goatsmith> It begs to be worn.
  728. 01:21:33: <Goatsmith> Abe would make such a good model, right?
  729. 01:21:44: <Goatsmith> Those rugged human features.
  730. 01:21:49: <Goatsmith> So... human.
  731. 01:21:50: <Rainglove> Billy first looks to see if there is anything more valuable inside the head than on the floor outside of it
  732. 01:22:07: <Rainglove> because fuck you I've already gotten one compel fate point
  733. 01:22:38: <viejo> BILLY DON'T YOU SWEAR
  734. 01:22:41: <viejo> YOU'RE GROUNDED, MISTER
  735. 01:22:43: <Goatsmith> Well you took it off, so you probably can't do much with the robot now. It wouldn't even be able to see.
  736. 01:23:00: <Goatsmith> You can at least access the inside of it, now
  737. 01:23:03: <NachtRuine> Abe is keeping a watch, making sure nothing else is planning on dropping by.
  738. 01:23:19: <Goatsmith> Hey Mishaal.
  739. 01:23:33: <Goatsmith> A familiar sharp poke in your butt.
  740. 01:23:35: <Rainglove> Billy opts not to permanently render the head useless, since if the arms can be re-attached the head probably can as well. He puts the head back down by the robot and checks down the now-open neck.
  741. 01:23:40: <Goatsmith> Except this time, Abe gets one in the ankle, too.
  742. 01:24:16: <Benedict> Seir sees no point to even bothering with the robot now because of the squid's obsession with its head. "We should continue. Find out why the ship is here."
  743. 01:24:19: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal swerves around once again, making a grab for whatever's behind him. God damn POKEY THINGS.
  744. 01:24:44: <Goatsmith> Roll ALERTNESS ANYBODY, with Mishaal and Abe getting a +1
  745. 01:24:48: <NachtRuine> "Ah, what the fu-!" He swivels around, looking for the little bugger.
  746. 01:24:56: <BEIGE> Benedict: 2 (4df+3=0, 3+, 4-, 4-)

  757. 01:26:02: <Hippocratesi> do i win?
  758. 01:26:54: <Goatsmith> Everybody else misses it as more clanking fills the inside of the walls, except for Abe, who notices what poked him was decidedly robotic.
  759. 01:27:18: <Goatsmith> It looked about a foot in height, with six long, spindly legs and a small, round body.
  760. 01:27:18: <viejo> The poke was a needle. He's been injected with the gay.
  761. 01:27:24: <Hippocratesi> oh no
  762. 01:28:38: <NachtRuine> "That thing's a robot. Kinda like a bug or something."
  763. 01:28:42: <Goatsmith> Also, Billy manages to get a map of at least its route. It stops for a few hours every 12 hour cycle in a specific location, but the location is undefined.
  764. 01:29:02: <Goatsmith> You do know that it's at least three more flights up.
  765. 01:29:55: <Goatsmith> He says this to you all.
  766. 01:30:06: <Benedict> Let's go up three floors, then.
  767. 01:30:13: <viejo> Three more flights or three more fights, HUH GOAT?
  768. 01:30:27: <Hippocratesi> "Maybe these tiny robots took bodies elsewhere?"
  769. 01:30:29: <Goatsmith> No more fights, I have learned
  770. 01:30:52: <Goatsmith> We will fight another time when we all understand it and I'm not phonebound
  771. 01:31:20: <NachtRuine> "If someone notices something weird happening to me or Mishaal, speak up. Damn things might have done something to us."
  772. 01:32:17: <Benedict> Seir is just going to go up the stairs. Woop woop.
  773. 01:32:22: <NachtRuine> "Anyways, you heard Billy. Let's keep moving."
  774. 01:32:33: <Hippocratesi> "Right." Mishaal keeps moving. Up the stairs.
  775. 01:33:22: <viejo> Woosh! Off slithers the doc.
  776. 01:34:03: <Goatsmith> As they hit the second floor, Mishaal and Abe start to feel a bit... off.
  777. 01:34:44: <Goatsmith> Both roll Resolve.
  778. 01:34:59: <BEIGE> Hippocratesi: OH GOD AM I GONNA DIE: 3 (4df+1=0, 3+, 0, 3+)

  787. 01:36:03: <Rainglove> also obliviously
  788. 01:36:09: <Goatsmith> You're both feeling sluggish, like the feeling of your muscles cramping up. It's a bit hard to keep yourself moving, but you're fine.
  789. 01:36:34: <Goatsmith> REST OF YOU ROLL ALERTNESS DAMMIT

  797. 01:37:42: <Hippocratesi> "Maybe, but we must press on. Giving up is not option."
  798. 01:38:52: <Goatsmith> Seir, Doc, you start to notice that the further you go up, the walls are.. different. Upon closure inspection, you notice red lights on fixtures fit into the wall. Just like the camera from earlier.
  799. 01:39:01: <NachtRuine> "Of course not." By now, Abe's memory has been jogged of Mishaal.
  800. 01:39:21: <Goatsmith> But only Jeiss is able to notice that they're shuttering slightly the further they go up.
  801. 01:39:23: <viejo> Dr. J inspects the lights. Any more cameras?
  802. 01:39:35: <viejo> He relays this info to the group.
  803. 01:39:46: <Goatsmith> They are, in fact, cameras. Embedded into the walls, now.
  804. 01:40:16: <Benedict> "The walls have eyes. Think the robots added them."
  805. 01:40:20: <NachtRuine> "Someone's watching us, I'd bet on it."
  806. 01:40:28: <viejo> "Did that small insectoid robot inject you two with something? Hrm."
  807. 01:40:51: <viejo> "Does someone want to keep a watch out behind us? We don't want them injecting more."
  808. 01:40:53: <Benedict> Injected them with the gay gene.
  809. 01:41:01: <viejo> So Seir now has twice the dose?
  810. 01:41:05: <Benedict> Yes.
  811. 01:41:20: <Hippocratesi> "Or /something/ is watching."
  812. 01:41:20: <NachtRuine> "Probably. Muscles are crampin' a bit, but it's not enough to stop us."
  813. 01:42:22: <Benedict> "Maybe we'll find a medic bay up here."
  814. 01:42:37: <viejo> Can Dr. J help out at all?
  815. 01:42:42: <viejo> Does he have supplies for that kind of thing?
  816. 01:42:44: <Rainglove> Billy goes over to take a look at the cameras because nobody else is. Anything to see here?
  817. 01:43:25: <Goatsmith> Not at the moment. You'd have to identify exactly what it is they're being sticked with, but so long as they aren't sticked more, they should be fine.
  818. 01:43:38: <Goatsmith> Such is your PROFESSIONAL OPINION
  819. 01:43:54: <viejo> "I don't have anything on me right now, but if we find a medbay I can attempt to treat the fatigue."
  820. 01:43:59: <Goatsmith> Roll Repaaaair, Billy.

  824. 01:44:40: <Goatsmith> Well, you're pretty sure those holes are probably cut for the cameras.
  825. 01:44:55: <Rainglove> Billy pokes one of the cameras curiously
  826. 01:44:58: <viejo> Dr. J takes a picture of the hallway and sends it to the captain. 'A lot of cameras embedded in the walls here. Small insectoid robot has injected Mishaal and Abe with something that has induced muscle fatigue.'
  827. 01:45:12: <Rainglove> "Does anyone feel like removing some more wall panels?"
  828. 01:45:27: <Goatsmith> The camera withdraws.
  829. 01:45:37: <Goatsmith> And, one by one, each one disappears.
  830. 01:45:41: <Rainglove> "Oh dear"
  831. 01:45:41: <Goatsmith> They know.
  832. 01:45:41: <Benedict> Seir moves up to the wall panels since they were brought back to his attention. Nice cameras.
  833. 01:45:43: <Benedict> Or not.
  834. 01:45:52: <Rainglove> "Well perhaps cutting through will tell us where they went"
  835. 01:46:25: <Benedict> "Let's not waste time standing around and waiting to cut the wall. Last time we stood around, the human started to get tired."
  836. 01:46:29: <Goatsmith> In its place, you hear a familiar skittering in the walls.
  837. 01:46:34: <Benedict> "Instead, keep moving."
  838. 01:46:37: <Goatsmith> Perhaps now is the time to be moving.
  839. 01:46:45: <Benedict> Seir -is- moving, thank you.
  840. 01:46:52: <Goatsmith> Gud job
  841. 01:46:53: <NachtRuine> "I hate that sound." He follows the Nintir.
  842. 01:46:56: <Rainglove> Billy gets with the moving, loser
  843. 01:47:02: <Goatsmith> Seir has seen horror films, evidently
  844. 01:47:10: <Rainglove> did his earlier hacking attempt reveal anything about the robot's reprogramming?
  845. 01:47:27: <Goatsmith> Ya rolled 2low
  846. 01:47:32: <viejo> 'Cameras have reacted to probing from Billy, they have all withdrawn.'
  847. 01:47:32: <Rainglove> well you know what GOOD
  848. 01:47:37: <Rainglove> he didn't want to know anyway
  849. 01:47:44: <viejo> Dr. J continues on ahead.
  850. 01:48:02: <Goatsmith> 'That can't be right'
  851. 01:48:15: <Benedict> Seir doesn't watch movies. He's just tired of standing around.
  852. 01:48:27: <Rainglove> "What sort of ship has mobile cameras all bunched into one area like that this is very suspicious"
  853. 01:48:36: <Rainglove> "What sort of ship has mobile cameras at all"
  854. 01:48:57: <Goatsmith> They begin up the final flight of stairs. The further they go, the more they notice more and more perfectly circular holes in the wall.
  855. 01:48:57: <viejo> 'Something is watching us and the previous combat robot had fresh weld-marks heavily implying it was tampered with not long before our arrival. All seeming rather fishy currently.'
  856. 01:49:07: <NachtRuine> "How's about 'what kinda ship has inject-o-bots?'"
  857. 01:49:36: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal looks at the holes as he passes. "More camera holes?"
  858. 01:49:43: <viejo> What's that? Dr. J's post just received a like! Hoorah!
  859. 01:49:58: <Rainglove> "I would imagine this is a common feature on medical robots my species is heavily reliant on ambient fluid for survival but I imagine most of yours must be injected in some way"
  860. 01:50:03: <viejo> Mishaal is clearly hopeful they're gloryholes.
  861. 01:50:12: <Hippocratesi> SCOFF
  862. 01:50:21: <Hippocratesi> he LOVES his wife
  863. 01:50:29: <Goatsmith> 'We keep running through that through the system. This isn't something we even KNOW about. Keep safe, Jazzwhistle.'
  864. 01:50:32: <viejo> does he love her enough to suck a FAT ALIEN COCK?
  865. 01:50:42: <Benedict> "What was that."
  866. 01:50:43: <Hippocratesi> ah jeez man uh
  867. 01:50:45: <Hippocratesi> uhhh
  868. 01:51:01: <NachtRuine> "Yeah, but there's no reason to be a prick about it." Pun. "Let's just find what we're looking for and keep moving."
  869. 01:51:16: <viejo> Do they slither across anything new?
  870. 01:51:16: <Benedict> Seir peers into one of the camera holes. Come out, you sneaky bastards.
  871. 01:51:40: <viejo> Clearly the cocks do not wish to be sucked by a beaked-bear or a goblin-imposter.
  872. 01:51:44: <Goatsmith> At this point, you don't even need the map information. You can see where you're going based purely off the frequency of the holes.
  873. 01:51:58: <Goatsmith> Seir, roll Agility.
  874. 01:52:01: <Rainglove> Billy continues on. "They must be controlled from somewhere and I am concerned that we are heading towards that point and that it is also the control center for the ship"
  875. 01:52:08: <BEIGE> Benedict: 1 (4df+1=4-, 0, 3+, 0)
  876. 01:52:08: <Benedict> 4df+1
  877. 01:52:12: <Benedict> Noice.
  878. 01:52:12: <viejo> "Let's just hope those holes don't contain some kind of weapon."
  879. 01:52:16: <BEIGE> Goatsmith: 4 (4df+3=3+, 0, 4-, 3+)
  880. 01:52:16: <Goatsmith> 4df+3
  881. 01:52:20: <Benedict> Not noice.
  882. 01:52:46: <Goatsmith> Seir is suddenly stabbed right below the eye, in about his cheek.
  883. 01:52:53: <NachtRuine> wow
  884. 01:52:56: <Hippocratesi> kek
  885. 01:53:07: <Goatsmith> With a small little prod, just like his partners.
  886. 01:53:08: <Benedict> Seir hisses. Wait, is the needle-thing still there. Can he make a grab for it?
  887. 01:53:21: <viejo> "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
  888. 01:53:22: <Goatsmith> >failing to roll agility
  889. 01:53:24: <Goatsmith> No you can't.
  890. 01:53:37: <Hippocratesi> "Find something, Seir?"
  891. 01:53:39: <Goatsmith> Roll Resolve if you got it.
  892. 01:53:43: <Rainglove> Billy stops where he is and makes some distance between himself an a hole
  893. 01:53:53: <Benedict> 4df+1
  894. 01:53:53: <BEIGE> Benedict: 3 (4df+1=3+, 0, 0, 3+)
  895. 01:53:57: <Rainglove> "Perhaps we should take a moment to consider out plan of action"
  896. 01:54:01: <Rainglove> *our
  897. 01:54:11: <viejo> Dr. J goes over to Seir to investigate.
  898. 01:54:23: <viejo> Can I roll medical to achieve anything? Clean up the wound, see what the wound was, etc.
  899. 01:54:30: <Benedict> "I was reminded of something unpleasant. That is all."
  900. 01:54:33: <Goatsmith> He gets the same sensation of muscle cramping, spreading out from his face, but he can still walk fine.
  901. 01:54:39: <Goatsmith> Sure, go ahead.
  902. 01:54:48: <viejo> 4df+2
  903. 01:54:48: <BEIGE> Viejo: 3 (4df+2=4-, 0, 3+, 3+)
  904. 01:55:08: <Goatsmith> Also, the walls start buzzing with a cacophany of pattering footsteps.
  905. 01:55:40: <viejo> 'Are those mechs in the hangar bay active at all? Things are getting somewhat weird over here.'
  906. 01:55:42: <viejo> taktaktak
  907. 01:55:49: <Benedict> The not-goblin hisses some more, covering his face with his mech hand. Rather than wait around, he keeps fucking moving.
  908. 01:56:15: <Rainglove> "Entering this hall does not seem like it will end well" Billy looks at all the holes nervously.
  909. 01:56:15: <NachtRuine> "We don't have time for a plan, keep moving." The Nintir has the right idea.
  910. 01:56:30: <Hippocratesi> "They come. We have to move- quickly!" Mishaal attempts to pick up the pace, following Seir. We gon' die.
  911. 01:56:32: <Goatsmith> 'Do you need to fall back?'
  912. 01:56:46: <viejo> Dr. J slithers along quickly.
  913. 01:57:04: <viejo> 'We're too far down the hallway if this presents a threat. We are continuing onwards.'
  914. 01:57:31: <Rainglove> Billy vibrates, then follows forward behind the group, attempting to avoid the holes.
  915. 01:57:44: <Goatsmith> They find themselves in a single-direction hallway, wider than the others, and leading towards a single room.
  916. 01:58:12: <Hippocratesi> "I assume this is our destination?"
  917. 01:58:14: <Goatsmith> The cameras have begun to peak out of the holes as you head towards it. They shake, almost like with anticipation.
  918. 01:58:47: <viejo> "I dislike whoever designed this section of the ship."
  919. 01:58:56: <NachtRuine> "It has to be."
  920. 01:59:02: <Rainglove> "I do not believe the camera holes were a part of the original design"
  921. 01:59:02: <viejo> "Bunch of peeping toms."
  922. 01:59:16: <Benedict> "I am going to break these cameras one by one after I am done." Seir says, suffering each time he talks from the face pain. He moves down to the room.
  923. 01:59:16: <Rainglove> Billy looks for a goddamn door or something
  924. 02:01:35: <Goatsmith> The doors are open for you, beckoning you in.
  925. 02:01:51: <Goatsmith> A warm blue glow comes from within.
  926. 02:02:04: <Benedict> What's hiding in the glow?
  927. 02:02:26: <Goatsmith> Better go inside and find out.
  928. 02:02:57: <Rainglove> Billy decides that fear is the mind killer and just goes for it
  929. 02:02:59: <Rainglove> into the room
  930. 02:03:00: <Rainglove> fuck it
  931. 02:03:03: <NachtRuine> Abe grips his needlegun as he continues moving. Can't stop now.
  932. 02:03:03: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal follows the others inside.
  933. 02:03:25: <Benedict> Seir is probably going to die anyway, might as well go in.
  934. 02:04:53: <Goatsmith> So, as everybody goes in, I need some skill rolls. Computers or Communications, Engineering (Ship), and Medical. Tag wot it is yer rolling, if you have it.
  935. 02:04:54: <viejo> Dr. J is there as well.
  936. 02:05:00: <Goatsmith> Rather, tell me what it is
  937. 02:05:02: <viejo> Medical.
  938. 02:05:11: <viejo> 4df+2
  939. 02:05:11: <BEIGE> Viejo: 5 (4df+2=3+, 0, 3+, 3+)
  940. 02:05:23: <viejo> roll game stronk
  941. 02:05:24: <NachtRuine> i got nothin'
  942. 02:05:25: <Rainglove> 4df+5 communications
  943. 02:05:25: <BEIGE> Rainglove: communications: 5 (4df+5=3+, 0, 4-, 0)
  944. 02:05:43: <NachtRuine> 4df-1 fuck it, let's find out about engineeran
  945. 02:05:43: <BEIGE> NachtRuine: fuck it, let's find out about engineeran: 1 (4df-1=3+, 3+, 0, 0)
  946. 02:06:01: <Benedict> 4df+3 Engineering Ship.
  947. 02:06:01: <BEIGE> Benedict: Engineering Ship.: 4 (4df+3=4-, 3+, 3+, 0)
  948. 02:07:37: <Goatsmith> ALRIGHT.
  949. 02:08:30: <Goatsmith> What you see be for you is.. a bit hard to comprehend.
  950. 02:10:24: <Goatsmith> From what Seir can tell, it USED to be the hangar of the ship - a massive room, for massive ships, no doubt. But what it's been converted to is some sort of.. central hub. A hub of everything. Billy, you can see a vast amount of computer systems and servers in here, with all the plugs from the cameras leading to them.
  951. 02:11:33: <Goatsmith> Jeisswessel, you see all the complex equipment of a top notch medical bay facility down here, too - and it's all being used on what appears to be the missing corpses. They're all bound in black bags, unmoving, with various needles and tubes inserted in them.
  952. 02:12:05: <Benedict> Oh dear gods.
  953. 02:12:07: <Benedict> This poor ship.
  954. 02:12:26: <viejo> Is there any way he can use the station to treat the others, or would that interfer?
  955. 02:12:51: <Goatsmith> Abe, you can tell from all the welds and scuff marks that this is definitely not how it should be. In fact, that some of it has been adjusted around broken panels suggests some of it JUST happened
  956. 02:13:04: <viejo> Dr. J takes a picture of the scene, perhaps even a side-to-side video and sends it to the captain.
  957. 02:13:19: <Goatsmith> And all throughout the room are the large security mechs and bug-like probes of earlier.
  958. 02:13:23: <Rainglove> Billy decides this is probably some sort of unholy abomination and looks around for some sort of computer or monitor or anything he can interface with.
  959. 02:13:53: <Goatsmith> And one particular figure, humanoid in shape but certainly robotic, seems to be overseeing it all. At this point, they all refuse to acknowledge you.
  960. 02:13:58: <NachtRuine> "This freakin' place has been seriously messed with."
  961. 02:14:21: <Hippocratesi> "By machines, it seems."
  962. 02:14:24: <Goatsmith> Until the humanoid figure turns to you, its face a static-buzzing screen with a crack down the middle.
  963. 02:14:48: <Benedict> "Bob Johnson reporting for duty."
  964. 02:14:51: <Goatsmith> It stands there, looking at you - as best as you can tell.
  965. 02:15:14: <Goatsmith> "I thought it was Seir."
  966. 02:15:18: <viejo> "And his prestigious colleague... John Bobson, reporting for duty."
  967. 02:15:35: <Goatsmith> A cartoonish drawing of a smiling mouth pops up on the screen.
  968. 02:15:38: <Rainglove> billy looks harder
  969. 02:15:48: <NachtRuine> "You control the robots."
  970. 02:15:49: <Benedict> "I have split personality disorder, so I have two names."
  971. 02:16:01: <viejo> "Well, at least it appreciates a bit of humour. I hope its sense of humour doesn't stretch far enough to doing horrible things to us."
  972. 02:16:02: <Goatsmith> Billy, considering all the mechs stomping about, that may not be the best idea.
  973. 02:16:14: <Benedict> "I am here to work on the computers with my associate, Job Bohnson." Seir points to Billy.
  974. 02:17:01: <Goatsmith> "I'm afraid the ICA has no part on this ship. Please, leave."
  975. 02:17:07: <Goatsmith> It continues to "smile" at you.
  976. 02:17:19: <Hippocratesi> "And who are you to decide such things?"
  977. 02:17:19: <Benedict> "Who does have a part on this ship?"
  978. 02:17:56: <Goatsmith> "The Captain." It bows a bit.
  979. 02:18:21: <viejo> Dr. J takes a picture and uploads it to OGSA. 'Yeah I'm probably going to die. For all you female scientists out there who have (soon to be had) a crush on me, now's the time to say it."
  980. 02:18:24: <Goatsmith> "I'm afraid I don't know that, Bob. Or do I?" The smile turns to an animated laugh.
  981. 02:18:27: <viejo> Then he sends the picture to the captain.
  982. 02:18:31: <viejo> Priorities.
  983. 02:18:43: <Goatsmith> Dr. J, your reception seems to have cut out.
  984. 02:19:02: <viejo> "And now no one will know how I died. That is a shame."
  985. 02:19:20: <Hippocratesi> "/You/ are captain?"
  986. 02:19:44: <Benedict> "Please call me Mr. Johnson. I must say, the work you managed to do in such little time is impressive. And on a large ship. Was this an Empire Rogue Class ship?" Bob- I mean Seir, just decides to keep talking. Maybe the robot is vain.
  987. 02:19:45: <Goatsmith> "You could always leave," it offers. "I'm giving you the choice. We have enough specimens here."
  988. 02:20:02: <Goatsmith> "I am now." It cuts back to the smirk.
  989. 02:20:30: <viejo> "Ah! Specimen! I am an accomplished biologist, I frequently work with specimens. What does your work focus on?"
  990. 02:20:34: <viejo> Can I attempt some charm? ;))))
  991. 02:20:56: <Goatsmith> "Perhaps it is a Coalition vessel. Or an Alliance one? You always think so low of them!" It 'laughs' again.
  992. 02:21:31: <Goatsmith> If you think you can charm a robot.
  993. 02:21:59: <Goatsmith> Speaking of which, hey Jeisswessel, roll AGILITUH.
  994. 02:22:05: <viejo> 4df+3 CHARM
  995. 02:22:05: <BEIGE> Viejo: CHARM: 4 (4df+3=3+, 4-, 0, 3+)
  996. 02:22:09: <Benedict> Meanwhile, Seir looks for anything close by to shut down the robot. "My other self, Seir, doesn't like Alliance ships because they're made out of paper and Tuk glue."
  997. 02:22:11: <viejo> 4df+4 AGILITTY
  998. 02:22:11: <BEIGE> Viejo: AGILITTY: 7 (4df+4=0, 3+, 3+, 3+)
  999. 02:22:16: <viejo> DODGE GAME STRONK
  1000. 02:22:19: <Rainglove> jesus
  1001. 02:22:33: <Rainglove> we generate spin now
1002. 02:22:52: <viejo> Can I do some anime dash and slice him in two with my thousand-times-folded steel katana?
1003. 02:22:55: <Goatsmith> Jeisswessel catches movement out of the corner of his arm and pulls his hand away just in time to stop one of the small robots from trying to snatch his phone.
1004. 02:23:15: <Goatsmith> You cut the little robot scamp in half.
1005. 02:23:16: <viejo> Cheeky little cunt. He puts his phone in a secure zipped breastpocket.
1006. 02:23:17: <Rainglove> Billy attempts to reconnect to his ship. Does he still have a signal to it?
1007. 02:23:42: <Goatsmith> He does not. They appear to be jamming outgoing signals, now.
1008. 02:23:44: <Hippocratesi> "Where do you come from, machine?"
1009. 02:23:46: <NachtRuine> "Why did you take these people?"
1010. 02:24:08: <Rainglove> Billy looks around the hangar. Any ships marked with a logo he'd recognize? Say, CAST?
1011. 02:25:00: <viejo> Billy really needs to pull out a minigun right about now.
1012. 02:25:05: <Goatsmith> "Surely you don't expect me to just give you the answers? Do you think of me as nothing but an idiot?"
1013. 02:26:12: <viejo> "If there is no point in our questioning then why prolong conversation? Or do you simply not function high enough to answer our questions?"
1014. 02:26:18: <Goatsmith> Billy, you recognize a few as CAST, actually, but you can tell a few of the other vessels in here definitely aren't CAST. They also have a bit of damage done to them.
1015. 02:26:42: <Benedict> Could Seir use computers to try and keep his own online? "Well, you did have your robot stab some of us even though you said you had enough samples."
1016. 02:27:09: <Goatsmith> "Oh! You hurt me." It 'laughs'. "What do they say about war? 'Leave survivors to tell what happened', yes?"
  1017. 02:27:34: <Hippocratesi> "War?"
1018. 02:27:37: <viejo> "Clearly they overloaded your sass capcity."
1019. 02:27:37: <Goatsmith> You'd probably need Communications for that. Guess who has 5?
  1020. 02:27:39: <viejo> capacity*
  1021. 02:27:49: <Benedict> Billy, time to shine.
  1022. 02:27:54: <viejo> Billy pls
1023. 02:28:12: <Rainglove> what exactly are we trying to do here?
1024. 02:28:16: <viejo> "From one scientist to another do you not wish to discuss your work?"
1025. 02:28:22: <viejo> we're buying time for your sorry squid ass
1026. 02:28:24: <Benedict> "You act far too organic for a machine."
1027. 02:28:28: <Rainglove> also if they're jamming, is there an attackable data track?
1028. 02:28:43: <Goatsmith> "War. It is time to break the peace, whether any of the Big Five are ready or not. Change is coming."
1029. 02:29:19: <Rainglove> Billy starts recording audio while he waits for a response
1030. 02:29:19: <Goatsmith> Simple Communications opposition to circumvent the jam at least in time to get a message out, I assume.
1031. 02:29:46: <Hippocratesi> "The machines wish for rebellion, then?"
1032. 02:29:57: <Goatsmith> "I don't. Not yet. You will all learn, soon enough, of our work."
1033. 02:30:08: <Goatsmith> "Oh, did I say that? Silly me."
1034. 02:30:18: <Rainglove> Billy snaps a couple pictures, then tries to get a signal out to his ship, which is hopefully easier to reach then the orbiting capital
  1035. 02:30:20: <Goatsmith> That's to Mishaal
1036. 02:30:43: <viejo> Dr. J groans. "/This/ is why you don't program robots with personalities. You program them to perform a task and nothing else."
  1037. 02:30:47: <Rainglove> 4df+7 tagging off the grid
  1038. 02:30:47: <BEIGE> Rainglove: tagging off the grid: 6 (4df+7=4-, 0, 3+, 4-)
  1039. 02:30:51: <Rainglove> hnngh
  1040. 02:30:56: <viejo> WITH NO SURVIVORS
1041. 02:31:11: <Rainglove> obviously also tells the ship to relay to the captain
  1042. 02:31:22: <viejo> bring in da mechz
1043. 02:31:33: <Rainglove> fully sentient AI, bit of a problem, backup would be nice, we're fucked, etc.
1044. 02:31:43: <Benedict> "What are you hoping to gain with your war."
1045. 02:32:07: <viejo> meanwhile the captain is furiously masturbating in his captain's chair and muttering under his breath 'you can't tell me what to do, ICA standards. Fuck you"
  1046. 02:33:47: <Goatsmith> 4df+4 COMMUNICAAATIOONS
  1047. 02:33:47: <BEIGE> Goatsmith: COMMUNICAAATIOONS: 4 (4df+4=0, 0, 3+, 4-)
1048. 02:33:54: <Rainglove> Billy decides that playing the CAST card probably wouldn't get him anywhere here
  1049. 02:33:55: <Rainglove> fugyes
1050. 02:34:11: <Goatsmith> Just for a minute, Billy gets a break, and the signal goes out.
1051. 02:34:29: <Goatsmith> The laughing captain of yours suddenly makes a very angry looking face
1052. 02:34:54: <Rainglove> "Oh this can only end well"
  1053. 02:34:56: <Goatsmith> "Now you're being difficult."
1054. 02:35:14: <Benedict> "We all got a personality disorder. Forgive us."
1055. 02:35:52: <Rainglove> "You offered us the chance to leave and I am attempting to hold you to that promise"
1056. 02:36:06: <Goatsmith> The security mechs, which were previously ignoring you, are now staring right at you.
1057. 02:36:12: <Goatsmith> In fact, all production seems to have stopped in favor of you five.
1058. 02:36:22: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal wishes he could rip this thing's head off its shoulders. But he'd rather not be filled with holes.
  1059. 02:36:31: <Goatsmith> "I was thinking perhaps you'd walk."
1060. 02:36:42: <Rainglove> "I do not think we would have made it very far"
1061. 02:36:47: <viejo> How many security mechs are there?
1062. 02:37:26: <Rainglove> "regardless of how we are exiting your operation here does fascinate me and I was wondering if perhaps you would like to discuss it in a less hostile manner"
1063. 02:37:38: <NachtRuine> Abe would also like to fight, but knows better. It would be nice to be able to leave.
  1064. 02:38:42: <Benedict> Seir's face is still in a lot of pain.
  1065. 02:38:58: <Goatsmith> At least a dozen or two, Doctor J.
1066. 02:39:06: <Goatsmith> "What did you want to know, caeligo?"
  1067. 02:39:15: <viejo> Welp
1068. 02:39:56: <Rainglove> "I would like to know what you have injected my crewmates with and why you have so obviously chosen not to target me with the same injection"
  1069. 02:39:59: <Goatsmith> It's ogre
1070. 02:40:30: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal wishes he was home. Tending to his herd. Growing his food. Sat in front of the fireplace, drinking some hot garblgirgh, or 'chocolate' as the humans call it.
1071. 02:40:46: <Goatsmith> "We were disabling the obvious threats, first. Your doctor was too fast, so we started targeting the others."
  1072. 02:41:02: <Goatsmith> "Fight smart, not hard."
1073. 02:41:07: <Benedict> "I am quite obviously not a treat. Never have been."
  1074. 02:41:10: <Benedict> threat*
  1075. 02:41:11: <Benedict> Fuck.
1076. 02:41:16: <NachtRuine> Abe doesn't know whether to be flattered or not.
  1077. 02:41:26: <Goatsmith> "Your gun said otherwise."
1078. 02:41:36: <Hippocratesi> "Your plan did not work. So what now?"
1079. 02:42:31: <Rainglove> "Well I imagine our dea- I would appreciate being able to hold this conversation without eighty tons of death being pointed at us"
1080. 02:42:33: <Goatsmith> "Well, I suppose we could still kill if we so wanted. You are outnumbered, after all."
  1081. 02:43:00: <Goatsmith> "It is a safety measure."
1082. 02:43:32: <Benedict> "My gun was found in a trash can." A lie, but whatever. Seir wants an apology.
1083. 02:44:05: <Goatsmith> He does not get one.
1084. 02:44:13: <Rainglove> "Do you know why this ship was crashed in this place?"
1085. 02:44:22: <viejo> "Offer us an exit that doesn't consist of walking down that long damn corridor full of your little drug spiderbots."
  1086. 02:44:24: <Goatsmith> "I crashed it."
  1087. 02:44:32: <Rainglove> "Why?"
  1088. 02:44:33: <viejo> "With no survivors?"
  1089. 02:44:41: <Rainglove> veeyo pls
  1090. 02:44:46: <viejo> I can't help it I'm sorry
  1091. 02:45:12: <Goatsmith> 10/10 pls log
  1092. 02:45:16: <Goatsmith> Simply ebic
1093. 02:45:27: <Benedict> Ebic for the win, Shepard.
  1094. 02:45:32: <viejo> I'm here all week
1095. 02:45:37: <Goatsmith> "We had to kill the original passengers before we could take it."
1096. 02:46:04: <viejo> "And the "specimens" here, are they original crew or people who lived here? I'm guessing the latter at the least considering the state of the colony."
1097. 02:46:06: <Benedict> "How did you get on this ship. Were you just a computer that gained awareness."
1098. 02:48:08: <Goatsmith> "We had ample supply of both. Happy circumstance."
1099. 02:49:53: <Goatsmith> "As for that question, it's a rather interesting story." It 'laughs'. "You see-"
1100. 02:50:30: <Goatsmith> Billy's ship crashes square through the wall.
  1101. 02:50:42: <Hippocratesi> "About time." Mishaal sighs.
1102. 02:50:58: <Benedict> Seir takes steps back to hide behind Mishaal. Don't need any debris or anything hitting him.
1103. 02:51:08: <NachtRuine> Abe jumps at the crash. "What the hell?"
1104. 02:51:31: <Rainglove> Billy tells the ship to just keep right on going please
1105. 02:51:42: <Rainglove> take the preachy faggot with you
1106. 02:52:54: <Goatsmith> "Oh. I believe that's your ri-" It does, engines revving as it grinds audibly against the steel of the hangar.
  1107. 02:53:40: <Hippocratesi> "I believe we should leave."
1108. 02:53:50: <Rainglove> "Now does seem like an excellent time"
1109. 02:53:54: <Goatsmith> It's not exactly speeding, but it is successfully tearing apart the room.
1110. 02:54:22: <Benedict> Did it kill the asshole computer?
1111. 02:54:34: <viejo> "That's enough adventure for one day! Great talk, you're a real great guy, we'll be off now then!"
  1112. 02:54:57: <NachtRuine> "A very good time."
1113. 02:55:27: <Goatsmith> "I have to agr-" And, suddenly, a bright red mech crashes through the ceiling, stomping onto said preachy robot.
  1114. 02:55:45: <Rainglove> "I suppose that'll be the captain"
1115. 02:55:56: <Rainglove> Billy tells his ship to stops and signals the captain to please god not destroy everything
  1116. 02:56:05: <viejo> "How marvelous! Dr. J takes a quick picture."
1117. 02:56:07: <Rainglove> then he sets about looking for something he can interface with and get some goddamn answers from
1118. 02:56:07: <NachtRuine> "What the hell is this day?"
1119. 02:56:15: <viejo> Okay move those speech marks further up
1120. 02:56:17: <Benedict> All the technology being destroyed!
1121. 02:56:30: <Goatsmith> "Then get on the damn ship!"
1122. 02:56:44: <Benedict> "What about all the technology and information this ship will have."
  1123. 02:56:50: <viejo> Dr. J slithers on the Mayflower.
1124. 02:56:58: <Rainglove> Billy starts scrabbling up whatever parts he can pick up from ex-canti
1125. 02:57:02: <Goatsmith> Your, in fact, captain opens fire on the larger security robots.
1126. 02:57:04: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal hops onto the Mayflower, fuck the tech.
  1127. 02:57:10: <viejo> Can Dr. J make a grab for a specimen?
1128. 02:57:16: <NachtRuine> "Aye sir!" Abe damn near sprints up onto the ship, trying not to get hit.
1129. 02:57:21: <Goatsmith> His foot is securely on Ex-Canti. Sorry, guy.
  1130. 02:57:27: <Rainglove> goddamnit captain
1131. 02:57:29: <Benedict> Are there any small, portable computers that Seir can snatch up before he jumps on the ship?
1132. 02:57:36: <viejo> "Ah! Research!" Dr. J uses his stronk robot arm to grab a specimen and drag it on to the Mayflower.
  1133. 02:58:06: <Hippocratesi> "I suppose we're even, Inda!"
1134. 02:58:31: <Rainglove> Billy looks around for one of the tiny injecto-bots on his way to the ship
1135. 02:58:47: <Goatsmith> As everyone gets on the ship, the captain returns fire, boarding with them.
1136. 02:59:16: <Benedict> Seir gets to steal a portable computer, at least. R-right. Oh well. On the ship he goes.
1137. 02:59:23: <Benedict> "I'd like to go to the medic bay soon."
  1138. 03:00:19: <NachtRuine> "Well, Cap'n, that's one way to make an entrance."
1139. 03:00:40: <Rainglove> Billy grumbles discontentedly and heads for the cockpit. "Captain if you can find any way to perhaps salvage what happened here I would be greatly appreciative"
1140. 03:00:40: <Goatsmith> He shoots through a roof, light shining down a large figure hidden previously from the dark.
1141. 03:00:47: <viejo> "I will tend to your muscle fatigue when we are back."
1142. 03:01:00: <Goatsmith> Ey Benny, roll yer Archaeology. Anybody else who has Maneuver (Mech), roll that
  1143. 03:01:12: <viejo> 4df+1 ayyyyy
  1144. 03:01:12: <BEIGE> Viejo: ayyyyy: 1 (4df+1=3+, 3+, 4-, 4-)
1145. 03:01:16: <Rainglove> would I roll piloting or just not roll here?
  1146. 03:01:20: <BEIGE> Hippocratesi: HYUCK: 2 (4df+3=0, 4-, 4-, 3+)
  1147. 03:01:20: <Hippocratesi> 4df+3 HYUCK
1148. 03:01:37: <Goatsmith> "Billy boy there are dozens of robots shooting at us."
  1149. 03:01:42: <Goatsmith> No roll 4 u
  1150. 03:01:47: <Benedict> 4df+2
  1151. 03:01:47: <BEIGE> Benedict: 1 (4df+2=0, 4-, 4-, 3+)
  1152. 03:01:50: <Benedict> :(
  1153. 03:01:55: <NachtRuine> 4df+1 i mean i guess i have it
  1154. 03:01:56: <BEIGE> NachtRuine: i mean i guess i have it: 2 (4df+1=4-, 0, 3+, 3+)
1155. 03:02:06: <viejo> "Hush dear Billy! We must away!"
1156. 03:02:19: <Rainglove> "Well captain we are in a very large ship with very large guns and we also have you"
1157. 03:02:29: <Goatsmith> Just to shut the squid up and get him going he kicks a small robot onto the ship.
  1158. 03:02:37: <Benedict> "Please fly faster."
  1159. 03:02:47: <viejo> "Please fly fullstop."
1160. 03:02:52: <Goatsmith> "YES BILLY AND THERE ARE MORE GUNS THAN EITHER OF US HAVE AND THERE ARE SHIPS AROUND US PLEASE GO."
1161. 03:02:53: <Rainglove> Billy continues to be unhappy, but he goes
1162. 03:03:48: <Goatsmith> Seir, that is a somewhat familiar figure, but you're not sure why. Everybody else, you know it's a mech, of some sort.
1163. 03:04:16: <Benedict> Seir will ponder on this after he goes to the medic bay.
  1164. 03:04:18: <Benedict> Fly, squid, fly.
  1165. 03:04:30: <Rainglove> we fly
1166. 03:04:33: <Goatsmith> The ship continues to craaaaawl through the hull until it reaches the other side, blasting off up into the stratosphere. Ex-Canti feebily sits up, somehow still alive, frowning as he watches you go.
  1167. 03:05:16: <Goatsmith> You fly.
1168. 03:05:53: <NachtRuine> Abe sits back, sighing. "Well, that's probably the best first day at work I've had."
1169. 03:06:14: <Rainglove> "I will have to re-paint the front and I expect the frontal cameras were damaged and now we must return later to discover the cause of all this..." Billy sighs.
1170. 03:06:17: <Hippocratesi> "How much is pay again, Captain?"
1171. 03:06:27: <Goatsmith> Soon you reach the Marriott, and you board. The captain climbs off the ship in his mech, parking it in the corner.
  1172. 03:06:58: <Goatsmith> "After that discovery? /Billions/, baby! Yee-heaaaah!"
1173. 03:07:07: <viejo> Dr. J hauls the retrieved specimen over his shoulder and pats him on the back. "Shush, shush, we're home now. Time for science!"
1174. 03:07:28: <Hippocratesi> "Aaaah, right." Mishaal will stay for that dosh.
1175. 03:07:31: <Rainglove> Billy goes to retrieve the broken goddamn spiderbot and hunts down the nintir.
1176. 03:07:48: <viejo> "Ah, who requires medical assistance?"
  1177. 03:07:54: <NachtRuine> "Cap'n, I don't see how we've made billions."
1178. 03:08:17: <Benedict> Seir doesn't respond to Mistuh J. He just looks for any signs pointing him to the medical bay.
1179. 03:09:09: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal raises his hand. "Muscles still a bit cramped. What do you have for me, doctor?"
1180. 03:09:12: <Goatsmith> It is on the wall.
  1181. 03:09:19: <Benedict> To the medical bay!
1182. 03:09:47: <Goatsmith> "Are you kidding? Did you /see/ that thing? Scoop of the century! Scoop of the /milennia/!"
1183. 03:10:08: <viejo> Dr. J dumps the specimen on the floor. "Leave this be, important science business, oooo!" He shakes his hands about in front of him. "Right, to the medbay."
1184. 03:10:17: <viejo> Do I get a +2 for being in the medbay to me medical?
  1185. 03:10:20: <viejo> my*
1186. 03:10:20: <Goatsmith> He crawls out of his cockpit, beaming bright. "You boys did a damn good job. Damn good. You better believe you're staying on as our ground crew."
1187. 03:10:57: <Benedict> Seir wasn't there to hear that, but he would no doubt be upset about that news.
  1188. 03:11:00: <Goatsmith> Your medical for wot?
1189. 03:11:05: <Hippocratesi> "Oh, I can't wait..." Mishaal makes his way to the medbay.
  1190. 03:11:08: <viejo> treating people
  1191. 03:11:17: <Goatsmith> Well there's
  1192. 03:11:22: <Goatsmith> Actual medical people
1193. 03:11:53: <Benedict> You can treat Seir when the medical bay chases him out for being that ICA traitor.
1194. 03:11:54: <viejo> "Ah, I see I'm not needed, well you guys have fun and remember - if they say you have to insert it rectally then they've got you on the cheap medicine!"
1195. 03:12:19: <NachtRuine> "Works for me." He rolls a shoulder, and is reminded of the muscle cramp. Might as well get that fixed. He heads to the medbay.
1196. 03:12:27: <viejo> Dr. J grabs his specimen and buggers off to his lab.
1197. 03:12:50: <Goatsmith> The captain follows everybody to the med bay to chat them up. "So, tell me everything."
1198. 03:13:28: <Rainglove> Billy examines the little spiderbot as people talk
1199. 03:13:31: <Hippocratesi> "The machines..." Mishaal takes a seat in the medbay. "Want to kill us."
  1200. 03:13:37: <Hippocratesi> "All of us."
1201. 03:13:39: <Benedict> "There was a robot with a needle that poked us. Everything was dead. The AI was easily distracted by talking."
  1202. 03:13:58: <Goatsmith> "Were you all poked?"
1203. 03:14:34: <NachtRuine> "Me and Seir got poked once, Mishaal twice."
1204. 03:14:45: <Rainglove> "Myself and the doctor were not I believe he evaded the needles and I was not viewed as a threat"
1205. 03:14:56: <Benedict> "No. There was also something familiar on that ship. A mech. Not sure if it was an ICA mech or perhaps something from the ancient aliens." Seir goes into that medical bay and gets himself a seat.
1206. 03:14:57: <Rainglove> He sounds only slightly sad about this
1207. 03:15:08: <viejo> Dr. J returns to the medbay having dumped off his specimen.
1208. 03:15:24: <Rainglove> "Captain I don't suppose you were able to identify the make of the ship you rescued us from?"
1209. 03:15:39: <Goatsmith> "Mhm." He looks Mishaal up and down. "Are you sure you weren't hit up with hallucinogenics?"
1210. 03:15:45: <NachtRuine> "Did someone record that freaking lunatic? I can't remember everything he said."
1211. 03:16:09: <viejo> "This doctor's too smooth for their slow moves."
1212. 03:16:17: <Rainglove> Billy pops out his lapcraptop and remembers to stop it recording. "I believe I caught the ending of his words"
1213. 03:16:36: <viejo> "One of the critters tried to nab my phone, so unfortunately I have nothing but a couple of pictures."
  1214. 03:16:41: <Hippocratesi> "I haven't hallucinted so...I do not think so."
1215. 03:16:46: <Benedict> Seir tells the closest nurse or doctor that his face -really- hurts.
1216. 03:17:25: <NachtRuine> "Cap'n, if I had to guess what we got pricked by, I'd say maybe a tranquilizer or paralyzer."
1217. 03:17:46: <NachtRuine> "I could be wrong about that, but again, my guess."
1218. 03:17:46: <Rainglove> Billy hefts the spiderbot. "There may be traces in this"
1219. 03:17:50: <Goatsmith> A female HYOOMAN walks up to the three of the stung individuals, looking them over. "Okay. Describe the reactions you're having?"
  1220. 03:18:00: <Benedict> "Pain."
1221. 03:18:19: <Hippocratesi> "Muscle cramps. Is not that bad."
1222. 03:18:38: <Goatsmith> The captain picks up the robot and chucks it at the nurse, who lets out an audible grunt as she catches it. "Jesus."
1223. 03:18:48: <NachtRuine> "Muscle cramps. I got prodded on the ankle."
1224. 03:18:58: <Hippocratesi> Who the fuck is Jesus? Oh well.
1225. 03:19:14: <Rainglove> "I would like to look at that after you are done with it"
1226. 03:19:39: <viejo> "I've got a pain right here," he taps on his heart, "and I need a woman's touch."
  1227. 03:19:42: <viejo> 4df+3 oy vey
  1228. 03:19:42: <BEIGE> Viejo: oy vey: 4 (4df+3=3+, 0, 0, 0)
  1229. 03:20:20: <Goatsmith> 4df+2
  1230. 03:20:20: <BEIGE> Goatsmith: 4 (4df+2=0, 3+, 3+, 0)
  1231. 03:21:31: <Goatsmith> "I'm into humans, sorry."
1232. 03:22:08: <NachtRuine> Abe lets out a quick "Hah" before getting himself to be quiet.
1233. 03:22:13: <Goatsmith> She grabs a couple bottles of pills, giving the three of them different types. "Here. This should at least help the symptoms."
1234. 03:22:27: <Rainglove> Billy spots a common interest. "Oh I also find them fascinating what is your favorite feature of the humans?"
1235. 03:22:34: <viejo> "The doctor is out. However might I recommend my colleague Abe? I hear he's human." He swivels to face the captain. "So, down there seemed like quite a big mess. The robot with attitude talked about something the "Big Five wouldn't be prepared for," something along those lines."
1236. 03:22:40: <Goatsmith> "Older humans," she counters Abe, shoving pills into his hands.
  1237. 03:22:41: <Benedict> "How many do I take a day."
1238. 03:23:20: <Goatsmith> "You take two now and you'll be fine in a few hours."
  1239. 03:23:27: <Goatsmith> "Probably."
1240. 03:23:37: <Benedict> How young/old is this nurse? Also, Seir takes two pills. Yum. Pills.
1241. 03:23:41: <viejo> "Please, let me answer this, I am the resident doctor after all."
1242. 03:23:45: <NachtRuine> Abe's married to danger anyways. He downs the pills.
1243. 03:23:53: <viejo> "Take two and you should be fine."
1244. 03:24:33: <Goatsmith> "If your symptoms persist, let me know, okay?"
1245. 03:24:44: <Hippocratesi> "Eugh. Pills." Mishaal takes the recommended amount and sighs. "The bodies of crew and colonists were wrapped in bags. I do not know what planned to do with them."
  1246. 03:24:47: <Goatsmith> Probably her early 30's, Seir.
  1247. 03:24:54: <Benedict> Gold digger.
  1248. 03:24:59: <Hippocratesi> what they* fug
1249. 03:25:11: <Rainglove> Billy sends a copy of the recording to the captain, endingit with the captain's crashing into the deck.
  1250. 03:25:45: <NachtRuine> "What's the plan now, Cap'n?"
1251. 03:25:49: <viejo> Dr. J takes the time to upload his own picture of the crash-landing to OGSA. 'Quick update - didn't die! Hooray!'
1252. 03:26:22: <Benedict> "Do we have vending machines around the ship."
1253. 03:26:23: <Goatsmith> "Got any extra pictures before the transmission cut out, Jetwrestle? I could use those, too."
1254. 03:26:41: <Goatsmith> "Preferably without posting it online, you fucking retard."
  1255. 03:26:46: <Goatsmith> GEEZ
  1256. 03:26:57: <viejo> "I'm posting for... science."
  1257. 03:27:00: <Hippocratesi> KIDS AND THEIR WHY-PHONES
  1258. 03:27:18: <viejo> "Anyway, have a flick through."
1259. 03:27:28: <Benedict> Seir wants to make a post on his Myjournal that no one reads because he has no friends.
1260. 03:28:25: <viejo> "I got a video of the actual hangar bay, here." He shows the captain.
1261. 03:29:33: <Goatsmith> He watches, scratching his jaw. "I still have no idea what ship it was. It was certainly higher-tech than anything we have."
1262. 03:30:32: <Benedict> It was a Stealth class ship. If I knew what Alliances bordered that planet, I could make a guess for whom the ship belonged to."
1263. 03:30:35: <Goatsmith> "I mean, look at that damn hangar. I bet /we/ could fit in there."
1264. 03:32:16: <NachtRuine> "What about that robot? He seemed more capable than any robot I'd ever seen. Had the place hooked up with cameras and secu-bots."
1265. 03:32:54: <Hippocratesi> "He seemed as smart as us as well, perhaps smarter."
1266. 03:33:29: <viejo> "Seems like we stumbled across something big-game. I nabbed one of their "specimens" that they took from the ship and the colony, had lots of tubes plugged into them. I'll have a little look-see over them and find out what that's all about. I'm going to make a wild stab in the dark and go with 'something not good' for now."
1267. 03:35:33: <Goatsmith> "We're not bordered by anything out here. It's ICA or empty space."
1268. 03:36:09: <Benedict> "Odd. Will have to return later to learn more, and to figure out what that mech was."
1269. 03:38:00: <Rainglove> Billy starts looking around on his connectotop to see if he can figure out what sort of groups with the clout to crash a ship like that might want to create a powerful AI. He fires off a couple space-mails to some old contacts, attaching images of the outside of the ship and a couple shots of the interior of the hangar.
1270. 03:38:01: <Goatsmith> He frowns. "Well, I'll take all this and send it to the higher ups. Make sure it's nice and organized."
1271. 03:38:08: <viejo> "How it looks to me is that there was some stealthed ship out there that wasn't supposed to be that was then hijacked by those robots, but from what the lead robot said they weren't aligned with any of the Big Five."
1272. 03:38:55: <Rainglove> "It would have been very hard to hijack a ship like that remotely due to the way it was wired up and it puzzles me"
1273. 03:39:06: <viejo> "So, if the Big Five being how it is is already, if you will, a huge vat of shit. Just take another big load of shit and dump that on top of it, smear it all over, that's what we've got right here."
  1274. 03:39:27: <NachtRuine> "Just a buncha shit."
  1275. 03:39:33: <viejo> "Pretty much."
  1276. 03:39:57: <Goatsmith> "How shitty."
  1277. 03:40:07: <Goatsmith> Ayyy he's crackin jokes
1278. 03:40:52: <Rainglove> "Captain while there may not be anything we have that measures up to it technologically have you ever seen a ship of a similar design or function?"
1279. 03:42:41: <Benedict> Seir wants to know where the vending machines are. He needs sugar.
  1280. 03:45:00: <viejo> But Benny
  1281. 03:45:06: <Benedict> Viejo.
  1282. 03:45:08: <viejo> Seir's sweet enough on his own
  1283. 03:45:10: <viejo> <333333333
1284. 03:45:31: <Benedict> No he isn't. He needs sugar so he can power his augs. Stop being dumb.
  1285. 03:45:44: <viejo> 4df+3 shut up and be charmed
  1286. 03:45:44: <BEIGE> Viejo: shut up and be charmed: 1 (4df+3=4-, 4-, 0, 0)
  1287. 03:45:50: <viejo> ruh roh
  1288. 03:46:56: <Hippocratesi> "I have question, Captain. /When/ are we payed?"
1289. 03:49:11: <Benedict> "Where are the vending machines."
1290. 03:52:40: <Goatsmith> "The security bots looked familiar enough, but a ship of that size? Never."
1291. 03:53:20: <viejo> "Anyway, I'm going to go do science."
  1292. 03:53:30: <BEIGE> Viejo: anatomy biology shit on this specimen: 5 (4df+7=4-, 4-, 0, 0)
1293. 03:53:30: <viejo> 4df+7 anatomy biology shit on this specimen
  1294. 03:53:32: <viejo> HRK
  1295. 03:54:51: <Goatsmith> Tell me when/what you're tagging homolord
  1296. 03:55:09: <viejo> Anatomy Expert
1297. 03:55:25: <Goatsmith> "And you get paid when I get paid, Mishaal."
  1298. 03:55:37: <Hippocratesi> "When is that, then?"
1299. 03:56:20: <Goatsmith> "Are you planning on skipping out already?"
  1300. 03:56:33: <Benedict> "Need money to eat."
  1301. 03:57:27: <Hippocratesi> "No, Inda. I am not."
1302. 03:57:44: <Hippocratesi> "I only wish to know when to expect pay."
1303. 03:57:45: <Goatsmith> "We feed you. We've got the best chef a crew could ask for right here." He pats Mishaal on the back. "Once made me this stew and /man/, delicious."
  1304. 03:58:13: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal chuckles. "I wouldn't say best."
1305. 03:59:05: <Rainglove> Billy wonders how this man's cooking tastes to squids. He wonders if it CONTAINS squids. He decides not to think about it.
1306. 03:59:27: <Benedict> Seir leaves temporarily to find something sugary to eat. And to drink.
  1307. 03:59:37: <Goatsmith> "Don't undersell youtself, buddy." Patpat.
1308. 03:59:50: <NachtRuine> "You've thought it was a good idea to go to Sheol-1 for cooking supplies, if that says anything about you."
  1309. 04:00:02: <Goatsmith> "I'll let you know when the money's coming, Mishaal."
  1310. 04:00:35: <Hippocratesi> "It /was/ good idea! I needed to impress wife!"
1311. 04:01:36: <NachtRuine> Abe laughs. "Oh, the things you do for the people you love."
1312. 04:01:37: <Goatsmith> Well Seir, you think you might remember what looked like a vending machine in the hangar.
1313. 04:02:09: <Benedict> Seir is getting himself some candy and root beer. It was in his contract, after all.
  1314. 04:02:12: <Goatsmith> ON TO DOCTUH J
  1315. 04:02:20: <Goatsmith> OH
  1316. 04:02:35: <Benedict> You got stood up.
1317. 04:04:02: <Benedict> Seir returns to the med bay eventually with candy and root beer. It's all his, piss off.
1318. 04:04:19: <Rainglove> Billy takes this opportunity to examine the spiderbot
1319. 04:04:22: <Goatsmith> Oh okay well I didn't want you to meet engie NPCs anyway
1320. 04:04:24: <Rainglove> the fuck is this thing
  1321. 04:04:49: <Benedict> They're probably all jerks anyway.
1322. 04:04:55: <Benedict> They would hate Seir for being 2good.
  1323. 04:04:58: <Benedict> Or for being a black sheep.
  1324. 04:05:07: <Hippocratesi> Holy shit, he's a sheep?
  1325. 04:05:10: <Hippocratesi> Hell of a disguise.
1326. 04:05:56: <NachtRuine> Abe gets up and stretches a bit. "Well, no point in standing around. I will have to find a way to keep myself busy. See you all later." With that he walks out, to wander the ship.
1327. 04:06:39: <Goatsmith> Maybe Billy should take it somewhere where he'd have like, tools and such, instead of a doctor's office
  1328. 04:06:54: <Benedict> The doctors don't mind.
1329. 04:06:57: <Rainglove> "It was a great pleasure meeting you" Billy heads for the communications suite. Time to see what equipment he has to work with.
1330. 04:07:35: <Benedict> Well, if everyone is going to leave, Seir will just take his shit and walk around.
1331. 04:07:47: <Hippocratesi> "As will I. Where is kitchen? Hopefully the cooks don't mind me barging in."
  1332. 04:09:43: <Goatsmith> "Floor below us."
1333. 04:10:07: <Hippocratesi> "Thank you." Mishaal is off!
1334. 04:11:14: <Rainglove> Billy starts the self-diagnostics on his ship as he heads for communications, hoping it didn't get too torn up by the bigger ship. He'll have to take a look later and see if some stray parts got caught on it.
1335. 04:11:33: <Rainglove> but first he puts in an order for a personal organizer for the captain
  1336. 04:12:14: <Goatsmith> Roll assets for keks
  1337. 04:12:35: <Benedict> Assets is the devil's stat.
  1338. 04:13:08: <BEIGE> Rainglove: 3 (4df+4=3+, 0, 4-, 4-)
  1339. 04:13:08: <Rainglove> 4df+4
  1340. 04:13:23: <Rainglove> A nice PDF
  1341. 04:13:26: <Rainglove> er
  1342. 04:13:27: <Rainglove> PDA
  1343. 04:14:47: <Benedict> What a cheap gift.
1344. 04:15:29: <Goatsmith> His ship will no doubt give him an update on any damages in the morning.
1345. 04:17:11: <Goatsmith> Seir wanders aboot. Mishaal finds his way to the cafeteria, and thus the KITCHEN.
  1346. 04:17:29: <Goatsmith> The cafeteria of course being a well-known hangout spot
  1347. 04:19:14: <Goatsmith> LOOK ABOUT SAID KITCHEN
1348. 04:20:14: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal enters the kitchen, breathing the sweet smell of food. He LOOKS ABOUT SAID KITCHEN.
1349. 04:30:44: <Rainglove> Billy somehow ends up in the mess because I guess we're doing this shit again and there's people there. He's still running numbers on the little spiderbot.
1350. 21:03:37: <Goatsmith> Mishaal makes some okay octostew.
  1351. 21:11:43: <Rainglove> wow okay insensitive prick
  1352. 21:11:47: <Rainglove> just boil billy's cousins
  1353. 21:11:48: <Rainglove> it's fine
  1354. 21:12:08: <Goatsmith> Well friend Doctor J
1355. 21:14:30: <Goatsmith> You unzip the begin, and see a nintir. Presumably, it's from the colony that got its shit rocked. Its mouth hangs agape, with various holes surgically cut into it.
1356. 21:14:59: <Goatsmith> Its torso seems to have been previously cut open, and is now sewed back up.
  1357. 21:15:05: <Goatsmith> The bag even
  1358. 21:15:07: <viejo> "Poor little bastard."
1359. 21:15:36: <viejo> Dr. J puts on the necessary sterilized clothing and his fingers all transform into various utensils.
1360. 21:16:00: <Hippocratesi> Mishaal takes a sip of the stew. Not his best but it'll do.
  1361. 21:16:59: <viejo> [sipping intensifies]
1362. 21:23:43: <Goatsmith> Now he must serve it.
  1363. 21:23:57: <Goatsmith> Dr. J's got his CLAWS out.
1364. 21:37:49: <viejo> Perhaps Billy would like to walk in on Dr. J preparing to dissect, have a little SOFT RP?
