- - If you want to have a message written on the chat as well, go to StreamElements > Chat Commands, and add a new command matching the command that you are going to use on the Awesome shoutout, with this message:

- - By default, only the owner of the stream or mods can trigger the command.
- - messages from StreamElements are ignored, so if you use a streamdeck action, make sure it is done by your user, not Streamelements.
- - The name in the VIP list MUST be all lower case, or it won't work (will try to solve in later versions).
- - If the word USERNAME (all in upper case) is used in any Top or Lower text, it will be converted to the username of the user getting the shout out.
- - For now, only Twitch and Facebook are supported. There are some limitations with StreamElements and Youtube chat so I need to wait for that to get fixed.For Mixer I haven't been able to test it, next version will have it supported (I aimed to have it supported on this version but there were some issues related to Mixer burocracy).
- - There is also a problem in regards to restricting who can make shoutouts on Facebook, so ANYONE in chat can trigger the shoutout for now. I will fix this when possible.

- - If you feel there should be more than just 20 slots, I might consider adding more, but for performance reasons 20 seems goo for now.
- a. The Awesome shoutout works in this order:
- 1. It looks for the name in all the VIP slots, if it finds it, it will play its video, if no video it will play the image, if no image, it will fallback to the General configuration behavior.
- 2. Then it will check the setting for additional Sound file for that user, If it allows it, it will attempt to play the file, if there is no sound file set, it will fallback to the default Sound from the General Configuration.
- 3. If the name was found it will display what is in the Top and Lower texts in the VIP section for that user. If they are empty, that's how it will "show" them, it will not fallback to default behavior.
- 4. If the name of the shoutout is not in the VIP list, it will check for the behavior set for avatar/video/image and sound set and play them accordingly.
