  1.
  2. Part One
  3.
  4. (Opening shot: the city skyline during the day.)
  5.
  6. Narrator: The city of Townsville! (Pan across and turn down to a street; the light changes and people cross.) A handsome hamlet bustling with life.
  7.
  8. (A fellow whose clothes suggest he might be from Texas steps to the corner, looks down at his watch, and whistles to hail a passing taxi. Overhead view of a coffee cup on a table as it is picked up; during the next line, pull back to show it held by one of three laughing people seated around an outdoor table at a café.)
  9.
  10. Narrator: A beautiful burg where the sound of laughter fills the air.
  11.
  12. (Other customers laugh as well. A young man and woman, lost in each other’s eyes, walk along in front of the café.)
  13.
  14. Narrator: But tread lightly, young lovers.
  15.
  16. (The ground shakes; they look up in shock as a shadow covers them, and he jumps into her arms.)
  17.
  18. Narrator: Beauty walks the razor’s edge in this broken borough.
  19.
  20. (Cut to the shadow’s source as it moves into view: a towering gray lizard beast with seven eyes.)
  21.
  22. Narrator: And terror is just around the corner!
  23.
  24. (The creature spits an energy beam from its mouth toward the ground. Flames and screams start to rise toward it as it smiles maliciously. A man runs near one of its feet.)
  25.
  26. Narrator: Someone, do something!
  27.
  28. (The monster only smiles. At a newsstand, a man has his head buried in a paper while the proprietor closes up shop.)
  29.
  30. Narrator: Oh, man! This carnage is creeping me out!
  31.
  32. (The newspaper reader looks up, alarmed. Cut to just outside the front doors of Malph’s Market; they slide open and an old woman slowly emerges.)
  33.
  34. Old woman: Run for your lives! (Several customers charge out past her.)
  35.
  36. Narrator: What’s wrong with you people?! (Cut to a city bus; its driver panics.) Get ahold of yourselves!
  37.
  38. (Said driver takes a flying leap and crashes out through the door, the camera panning back toward the rear of the bus as he does so to show all the passengers also in terror. The vehicle speeds o.c. to the sound of a crash; pull back to show that it has just gone over the side of the bridge and is plummeting toward the water. As the passengers’ screams tear the air, cut to just outside a donut shop. Two cops step outside and look, still carrying their sinkers and coffee. During the next line, they get the full measure of what they are up against.)
  39.
  40. Narrator: Ohh…isn’t anyone brave enough to stand up to this terrible tyrant?
  41.
  42. (The cops retreat slowly to the donut shop, the doors slamming shut once they are in. Now the beast lifts one giant foot.)
  43.
  44. Narrator: Looks like this is sayonara, Townsville!
  45.
  46. (The foot comes down and crushes a building. The monster laughs over the destruction, but is suddenly cut off by a piece of debris that is flung into view to strike it in the head.)
  47.
  48. Narrator: But wait! What’s this? Someone has issued a challenge! (Cut to MegaMan and the girls charging.) It’s the Powerpuff Girls and MegaMan!
  49.
  50. (They land a blow that knocks the monster off balance for a moment. When it stands upright, there is a bit of drool on its lower lip; it wipes this away and roars. The girls and MegaMan go in for another pass, but the monster is ready this time—it claps its hands, sending out waves of energy from them. The girls gasp sharply, an instant before the blinding glare of the assault washes over them and fills the screen. When it fades away, we see a close-up of Buttercup, motionless in midair, smoke curling up from her, and looking as if a hand grenade just went off in her lap.)
  51.
  52. Buttercup: (softly) Ow.
  53.
  54. (She drops o.c. Blossom, floating behind her and in the same condition, tumbles down a moment later. Behind her is an equally disheveled Bubbles, then behind her was MegaMan burned to a crisp who falls last. Cut to an empty patch of ground; they slam down in this same order, and the monster rumbles with laughter. The girls and MegaMan got to their feet, their clothes and hair back in order and their arms outstretched. MegaMan turned to his "Top Spin" power. He starts to whirl in place, not unlike the tornado spin used by Buttercup in “Powerpuff Bluff”; his sisters do likewise after a moment, and all four drill straight down into the pavement and sink from sight.)
  55.
  56. (The creature brings a foot down on the spot just after they have tunneled under. It stands, puzzled, as its entire body starts to shake. Cut to the level of its head; MegaMan and the girls smash their way out the top—they have drilled up through the entire body—and fly o.c. as smoke rises from the ruptured cranium. The monster drops o.c. like a felled tree.)
  57.
  58. Narrator: Wow! That got him!
  59.
  60. (The camera shakes with the force of the crash. Quick pan/turn down to the Mayor and Ms. Bellum in front of the Townsville Hall colonnade. She holds a large gold key with a T worked into its head—the key to the city as seen in “Bought and Scold.” The vanquished monster likes in a pile of rubble at a distance behind them.)
  61.
  62. Mayor: Yeah! (The girls land by him.) Oh, man, you sure are brave. Here—have the city!
  63.
  64. (He laughs a bit as Ms. Bellum holds the key out to them. Cut to a long shot of the ckyline, the camera pulled back into the suburbs. It is now sunset.)
  65.
  66. Narrator: The city of Townsville… (The girls and MegaMan fly out of the city proper and o.c.) …is safe once again! (Pan in that direction to their house.) Another monster is defeated; another villain is thwarted; another disaster is averted.
  67.
  68. (Cut to inside the front door. On the next line, they burst in through it and fly to the bathroom to brush their teeth. When they arrive here, they have changed into their nightgowns, but MegaMan was in his armor bottom pants was bare chested. The counter area now features three of everything—towel rings, heart-shaped sinks, footstools so the girls can reach the counter—and its door leads to the bedroom. Bubbles has Octi in tow and brushes the doll’s teeth rather than her own.)
  69.
  70. Narrator: And the fearless, brave, unshakable heroes…are settling in for the night. (Buttercup spits foam loudly.)
  71.
  72. Buttercup: Did you see the way I drilled that sucker? And to think you ever doubted me.
  73.
  74. Bubbles: Oh, no. I only got worried when you screamed and panicked.
  75.
  76. Buttercup: I did not panic! I was tricking him into a false sense of security.
  77.
  78. Mega: hump, yeah right
  79.
  80. Bubbles: (laughing a bit) Oh. I just thought you were scared.
  81.
  82. Buttercup: (wiping her mouth) I was not scared! I am never scared!
  83.
  84. Bubbles: Oh…okay. Hey, what’s that on your dress?
  85.
  86. (Close-up of Buttercup.' Something black and insect-looking has appeared on the front of her nightgown, but she does not immediately notice it.)
  87.
  88. Buttercup: What? (Pull back to frame all three.)
  89.
  90. Blossom: Yeah. It looks kinda like a… (Back to Buttercup, who sees it; she continues o.c.) …like a…
  91.
  92. Buttercup: (panicked) SPIDER!!
  93.
  94. (She brushes herself down, and the black thing disappears.)
  95.
  96. Buttercup: Huh? (Bubbles giggles o.c.; pull back to frame all three.)
  97.
  98. Bubbles: (still giggling) Oops. I guess it was just a spot. Wow, you really freaked.
  99.
  100. Buttercup: I did not!
  101.
  102. Bubbles: Did too.
  103.
  104. Buttercup: Shut up, Bubbles! You’re scared of everything.
  105.
  106. Bubbles: No, I’m not!
  107.
  108. Buttercup: Yes, you are.
  109.
  110. Bubbles: No, I’m not!
  111.
  112. (Throughout this entire scene, Blossom has occasionally looked toward whichever girl is speaking. When the “no, I’m not/yes, you are” begins, she does so on each successive line. Cut to a close-up to Mega as he waits for the opportunity in this manner.)
  113.
  114. Buttercup: (from o.c.) Yes, you are!
  115.
  116. Bubbles: (from o.c.) No, I’m not! (Mega gets fed up.)
  117.
  118. Buttercup: (from o.c.) Yes, you are!
  119.
  120. Mega: GIRLS!! (Pull back to frame all four.) Now look. It doesn’t matter if anyone was scared. We’ve all got superpowers.
  121.
  122. Blossom: That's right Mega. And as long as we stick together, we can overcome our fears.
  123.
  124. (She smiles contentedly at this bit of wisdom. Pause. The next lines cause her face to fall again.)
  125.
  126. Buttercup: (to Bubbles) Yes, you are!
  127.
  128. Bubbles: No, I’m not!
  129.
  130. Buttercup: Yes, you are!
  131.
  132. Bubbles: No, I’m not! (The Professor steps to the bathroom doorway.)
  133.
  134. Professor: kids, time for bed.
  135.
  136. (Around him, the scene dissolves to the darkened bedroom; the sky outside the windows has dimmed to night. On the next line, turn down to the bed, where the girls are tucked in.)
  137.
  138. Professor: You’ve gotta get lots of rest if you’re going to pass that test tomorrow. (This throws a real shock into Blossom.)
  139.
  140. Blossom: Oh, no! The test! I forgot to study! (Back to the Professor.)
  141.
  142. Professor: Oh, well, I’m sure it’s just a review.
  143.
  144. Blossom: (from o.c.) No! (Cut to her.) I haven’t reviewed anything! I’ve been saving lives all day!
  145.
  146. Bubbles: Don’t worry, Blossom. You’re the smartest girl in Townsville.
  147.
  148. Blossom: That’s only because I study so much!
  149.
  150. (Pull back across the room; the Professor and Mega walks to the door. A nightlight glows near it—an alternative to leaving the hall lights on for Bubbles.)
  151.
  152. Mega: You’ll be just fine. Sweet dreams, girls.
  153.
  154. (He pulls the door shut behind himself; cut to a close-up of Bubbles. The hinges creak o.c.)
  155.
  156. Professor: (from o.c.) Oops. (Back to him at the reopened door.) Almost forgot. Power shortage.
  157.
  158. (He flips a wall switch, and the nightlight goes out.)
  159.
  160. Professor: Good night.
  161.
  162. (He closes the door again; back to the bed, where Bubbles immediately whimpers a bit at losing her light. She turns to face the wall—she is sleeping in the section near the windows—and sees a gangling, grinning clown doll crumpled on a chair in the corner of the room. It wears a belled cap and ruff collar. She whimpers some more and clutches Octi tightly to herself; a slow creak of hinges draws her attention away from the clown doll. It is coming from somewhere past the foot of the bed. She gasps softly; cut to her perspective. At the other end of the room, the open closet door swings shut.)
  163.
  164. (Mega was in the lab trying, getting ready to sleep for a better day. The Professor tucked Mega to bed so he could get comfy)
  165.
  166. Professor: You sure came a long way since you got back in action
  167.
  168. Mega: Sure have. If there's one thing I'm afraid of. It's watching Townsville being taken over by the most dangerous villain, while theres nothing we could do to stop it. And I sure don't want to see that happen.
  169.
  170. Professor: (pets Mega) I'm sure that day will never come. (stops petting Mega) Good night.
  171.
  172. (The Professor leaves Mega to sleep peacefully)
  173.
  174.
  175. (Back to Bubbles, who gasps again and pulls the covers up over her head. She shakes beneath them as the camera pans slowly across the bed. Blossom, in the middle section, is asleep but sweating buckets.)
  176.
  177. Blossom: (talking in sleep) Oh, no…didn’t study…test…fail…oh, no…
  178.
  179. (The camera continues its pan and stops on Buttercup, in the section near the door. She is wide awake and holding a can of insecticide; she sprays herself, then tosses it aside and settles down to sleep. Pull back slowly to frame the entire room—the clown doll is gone from its chair in the corner. The silence is broken by the effeminate laughter of “Him” as what little light there is goes red and a ribbon of pink mist swirls in through one of the windows.)
  180.
  181. “Him”: (effeminate voice-over) What’s this I hear? Tortured by the things you fear? (Overhead view; the mist soaks into the girls’ heads.) Nighty-night, girls. Pleasant dreams… (laughing) …pleasant screams.
  182.
  183. (His laughter grows more manic and high-pitched as the camera pulls back. Everything around the bed fades out to leave it in a solitary pool of red light, after which the bed and the light do likewise to black out the screen.)
  184.
  185. (Back to Mega, still sleeping. A green holographic image of Sigma appeared above Mega's head, laughing evilly from above.)
  186.
  187. Sigma: So MegaMan. You do have a fear after all. Excellent! I'll enjoy torturing you from the inside boy!
  188.
  189. (Sigma continues to laugh evilly. He then hovers down to Mega, then he shrink to a micro to get inside Mega's ear to find out what he fears)
  190.
  191. (Snap to the exterior of Pokey Oaks Kindergarten during the day. The front door is open; cut to inside it. The colors are very muted and gray, and the lights are dim. A beaming and fully dressed Blossom, also grayed out, comes up the walk to the door. However, her good cheer gives way to a stunned look once she is inside. Before her is a room filled with kids who glare at her from their seats with pure hostility—including her sisters. A single empty chair is in the middle of the room, sitting within a single shaft of light from overhead; Ms. Keane stands by this with the same harsh look. When she speaks, her tone is soft but menacing.)
  192.
  193. Ms. Keane: Blossom! We were just talking about you. (gesturing' to chair) Please, take your seat.
  194.
  195. (Blossom advances nervously into the room and sits down.)
  196.
  197. Ms. Keane: (pacing) Children, can anyone tell me what today is?
  198.
  199. (When the kids speak, they look and sound as if they are hypnotized.)
  200.
  201. Class: Yes, Ms. Keane.
  202.
  203. Ms. Keane: (closing door) What is today?
  204.
  205. Class: Today is report card day, Ms. Keane.
  206.
  207. Ms. Keane: That’s right. And can anyone tell me why report card day is soooo special?
  208.
  209. Class: Yes, Ms. Keane.
  210.
  211. Ms. Keane: Why?
  212.
  213. Class: Because report cards are the single most important determining factor to consider when judging the worth of an individual’s life.
  214.
  215. Ms. Keane: That’s right! (She laughs.)
  216.
  217. Blossom: (whispering, to her sisters and brother) Hey! What’s going on?
  218.
  219. Ms. Keane: (pacing) So, therefore, if one gets bad grades, one’s life is worthless. Correct?
  220.
  221. Class: That is correct, Ms. Keane.
  222.
  223. Blossom: (whispering) Hey! (Close-up of the girls.) Bubbles! Hey!
  224.
  225. Ms. Keane: (from o.c.) Blossom! (Pull back to frame her.) You have something to share with the class?
  226.
  227. (Blossom shakes her head silently.)
  228.
  229. Ms. Keane: How appropriate that it’s you who should interrupt. (She starts to pace again.) Once again you’ve failed to pay attention.
  230.
  231. Blossom: Me? I always pay at—
  232.
  233. Ms. Keane: Now you’ve failed to communicate.
  234.
  235. Blossom: But you interrupted—
  236.
  237. Ms. Keane: You’ve failed to cooperate.
  238.
  239. Blossom: I’m trying, but you—
  240.
  241. Ms. Keane: You’ve failed to prepare.
  242.
  243. Blossom: But I always prepare!
  244.
  245. Ms. Keane: ARE YOU PREPARED TO FAIL?
  246.
  247. (This catches Blossom flat-footed; her eyes shine with tears.)
  248.
  249. Blossom: (stuttering) Fail? (Ms. Keane only glares down at her.) Ms. Keane, I-I—
  250.
  251. (On this last, the camera pulls back from her until it is behind the front desk. A report card with Blossom’s name lies on it; Ms. Keane picks this up.)
  252.
  253. Ms. Keane: Can anyone tell me what this is?
  254.
  255. Class: It’s a report card.
  256.
  257. Ms. Keane: That’s right!
  258.
  259. (She gives it to Blossom, who looks it over. Even though this is a kindergarten, the document lists her class level as preschool—adding insult to injury.)
  260.
  261. Blossom: (still stuttering) I-I-I…but…I-I-I…but…Ms. Keane, I-I-I—
  262.
  263. Ms. Keane: (chuckling nastily) You’re embarrassed, aren’t you? (Blossom nods reluctantly.) It’s because you’ve failed, isn’t it?
  264.
  265. Blossom: (shivering) I-I-I—
  266.
  267. (Ms. Keane snatches the report card away and holds it in full view: an F in every subject.)
  268.
  269. Ms. Keane: BEHOLD!! (The class gasps.)
  270.
  271. (Now her tone and that of the other kids becomes increasingly venomous—though the kids still sound hypnotized.)
  272.
  273. Ms. Keane: Children! Why is a report card so special?
  274.
  275. Class: Because report cards are the single most important determining factor to consider when judging the worth of an individual’s life.
  276.
  277. Ms. Keane: That’s right! (She crumples the report card and throws it at Blossom’s feet.) So what should we do with her?
  278.
  279. Class: A test! A test! A test! A test! A test! A test!
  280.
  281. (Blossom vacates her seat and zips to the front door; she tries to open it, but to no avail.)
  282.
  283. Blossom: What’s happening?
  284.
  285. (She looks behind herself and finds Ms. Keane and her classmates slowly advancing on her. Their eyes are glowing red—her sisters’ included. She tries the knob again, then rams the door and gets nothing for her trouble. Crumpled on the floor after this attempt, she backs up as far as she can as the collective shadow falls over her.)
  286.
  287. Blossom: NOOOOOOOO!!
  288.
  289. (Dissolve to her in bed—this has been her nightmare. Now it is her turn to whimper in her sleep. Bubbles has dropped off and pushed the covers off her head. Blossom turns over, one of her arms falling across Buttercup and waking her up. Groaning, the latter sits up and coughs a bit.)
  290.
  291. Buttercup: I need some water. (She gets out of bed.)
  292.
  293. (Cut to the darkened bathroom; the lights come on, and she approaches the counter. The colors are rather bluer than normal. She fills a handy glass, drinks it down, and heads back toward the bedroom. A large spider scuttles across the floor in front of her; she gasps and backs into a corner. The sound of more pests—many more—causes her to look up in alarm toward the source: a horde of arachnids descending the walls. Screaming in terror, she rushes to the closed bathroom door and pushes it open after a brief struggle with the knob.)
  294.
  295. (Cut to a panorama that looks like something Pablo Picasso might have come up with if he had taken the world’s biggest hit of LSD. In the middle of this is a door, which opens outward to reveal Buttercup in the bathroom—we are now watching her bad dream, whose first scene began when Blossom “woke her up.” She is back in her dress and normal colors, and she nearly tumbles over the threshold into the maelstrom. Only one foot and her hand on the knob keep her on balance. A gigantic spider crawls toward her from behind; she cries out and leaps into the chaos.)
  296.
  297. Buttercup: It’s a good thing I can flyyyYYYYYYY!
  298.
  299. (On the end of this, she loses her forward momentum and drops like a rock.)
  300.
  301. Buttercup: No, no, no, no, no…
  302.
  303. (More of the same, giving way to a scream, as she falls toward a gargantuan spider whose mouth gapes open, ready to catch her. She also flaps her arms furiously, trying to pull a Wile E. Coyote, and manage to catch the edge of a platform just short of the mandibles. Pulling herself up and out of their reach, she runs for it an instant before one of the legs slams down on the platform and the creature gives chase. She jumps a gap to reach another platform and races along for a while before tripping and landing flat on her face. When she stands up, she gasps at the sound of more spiders; four land around her, but she slips through an opening and starts running again. The four spiders pursue and are joined by several others.)
  304.
  305. (Cut to Bubbles in bed; she sits bolt upright, gasping in fear. Pull back as she looks toward the rest of the bed, where her sisters are sleeping like logs. Silence. A jingling of bells draws her attention toward the corner of the room; she notices the empty chair and whimpers a bit. Her perspective: the room is quiet and free of any obvious malevolence. Back to the bed.)
  306.
  307. Bubbles: (softly) Blossom? Buttercup?
  308.
  309. (The jingling is heard again, this time from somewhere near Buttercup’s side. It seems to be coming from a couple of shelves filled with toys on that wall, but nothing is moving. Another jingle brings her attention to the other end of the room. Her perspective: the closet door is ajar, but a shape is ducking inside and closing it. Its gangling arms and legs betray it as the clown doll. Back to her.)
  310.
  311. Bubbles: Girls?
  312.
  313. Buttercup: (muttering in sleep) Big baby…
  314.
  315. (The jingling again.' Bubbles’ perspective: a teddy bear stands on the foot of the bed, facing her. It wears a clown’s pointed hat and a belled collar. Pull back across the room to show her regarding it with no small degree of unease. Close-up of the bear, then of her. A few seconds pass before she manages to get some words out.)
  316.
  317. Bubbles: (very nervously) Uh…hi, little teddy bear. Uh, what are you doing here?
  318.
  319. (The bear stands mute, as one would expect an ordinary stuffed animal to do—its smile is perhaps a bit wider than before. What it does next definitely falls outside the range of normal teddy bear behavior, though. That smile stretches to reach from ear to ear, the lips parting to reveal a grin of pointed teeth; the ears grow to points; the hind legs become pointed as well; pincers sprout from the ends of the front legs and tear through the fabric covering—the overall impression is that “Him” has exerted his influence on it. Bubbles watches, hands to her mouth to muffle her cry of surprise, as low, wicked laughter echoes through the room. While her sisters continue to sleep, the toys on the shelves have taken on their own sinister smiles. Now a brigade of toys runs out of the closet, each with a face that looks something like “Him”; the last one out is a long, jointed plastic snake with that same face. It coils around Bubbles and picks her up as the others watch, gathered around the bed.)
  320.
  321. (Bubbles finally finds her voice. The remaining lines in this act are delivered at low volume.)
  322.
  323. Bubbles: Blossom! B-B-Buttercup! Blossom!
  324.
  325. Blossom: (sitting up, groggily, eyes closed) What is it?
  326.
  327. Bubbles: Everything is trying to eat me!
  328.
  329. Blossom: Look. Whatever it is, it isn’t real. (The snake constricts; Bubbles’ face turns blue.) Just tell yourself it’s not real and it will go away, okay? (She goes back to sleep.)
  330.
  331. Bubbles: Okay. (She closes her eyes.) Not real.
  332.
  333. (Snap to black, which gives way to a view of the grinning toys as if an eye were being opened partway—this is Bubbles’ perspective. The teddy bear is at the front of the group. She closes her eyes again.)
  334.
  335. Bubbles: Not real.
  336.
  337. (She opens her eyes partway—now the toys are even closer—then closes them again.)
  338.
  339. Bubbles: Not real!
  340.
  341. (She opens her eyes partway—the teddy bear’s face fills her field of vision—then closes them again.)
  342.
  343. (Cuts to MegaMan and the girls, flying around Townsville. Until a explosion was caused, pushing all four backwards to the ground. They look forward to see who caused it. Once they did, the was seen with a futuristic armor. More were there as well. Futuristic robots came in different size. Giant robots were doing more damage, others in human size were attacking Townsville. People were running away from the robots of terror. The four heroes were standing there watching, until Buttercup stand up to fight back)
  344.
  345. Buttercup: What the heck is going on here?!
  346.
  347. MegaMan: I don't know, but we better stop this now before they do more damage.
  348.
  349. (The girls agree, and they flew up to the large robot, but the robot opened it's mouth and blasted a green laser cannon blast at the girls and MegaMan. They screamed from getting zapped from blast, then they fell down, all bruised up. They got up, all banged up from the blast)
  350.
  351. Blossom: What are those robots?
  352.
  353. MegaMan: I don't know, (the four of them got back up) but we can't let them continue destroying Townsville.
  354.
  355. (They flew off again to battle them again. Buttercup was punching the big robot, but could not do any damage. Cuts to Blossom, using her heat ray to burn the futuristic robot, but seemed to be heat proof. Cuts to Bubbles, using her super sonic scream beams to the robots, but they were doing nothing to it. The robot blasted at Bubbles, sending her to a random building, crashing to a window. MegaMan was scared from the robots. He fired his buster shots to the robots, but they only bounce off away. They charged a laser cannon to blow him away. As it got ready to shoot, it fired a big blue laser cannon beam to MegaMan, but he zipped in high speed away from the cannon blast.)
  356.
  357. MegaMan: Ruunn!!! (zipped on top of the girls heads)
  358.
  359. (They followed him. Cuts to Bubbles, she recovered from the blast she took, and flew with her sisters and brother to a now run down building to hide there. As they hid there, they all took deep breaths.)
  360.
  361. Bubbles: (whimpers) Mega what are we gonna do?
  362.
  363. Blossom: I'm sure he has a plan, don't you?
  364.
  365. Buttercup: (freaking out) WHAT ARE GONNA DO!!? HOW DO WE BEAT !!? (grabs MegaMan by the turtle neck [if that even it a turtle neck].
  366.
  367. MegaMan: (pushes Buttercup away to free himself) Calm down! I'm sure we may have a plan to take them out. We just need lay low for a while until we figure out how to destroy them. We just need to hope they don...
  368.
  369. (MegaMan got interrupted by the giant machine, grabbing the ceiling. The robot had red screens to scan it's targets. It's sensors then said "Target Acquire". The giant robot destroyer charged it energy to fire again. MegaMan tried running out from the building, but the girls weren't following them. He looked back to his sister worried)
  370.
  371. MegaMan: (reaching his hand out to them) GIRLS!!!
  372.
  373. (The robot fired it's laser cannon to the building plus destroying it completely. MegaMan shield himself from the debris. When he looked back to the completely destroyed building, he used his scanner to find his sister, but his sensors said "No Life Readings Detected". MegaMan sat on his knees, not wanting to believe his CPU. He then raised his hands up to the sky in despair.)
  374.
  375. MegaMan: (at the top of his lungs) NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!.
  376.
  377.
  378. (MegaMan looked around him to the red sky from "Speed Demon" to the robots ready to finish him, but again he flew away from the robots. He didn't have his will to fight without his sisters. The camera closed up to his sad, scared and worried face. It was a horrible sight to see. Armageddon was happening. Evil has finally won. Then the screen turned black as the screen ended.
  379.
  380.
  381. Part Two
  382.
  383. (Opening shot: a dim vertical shaft of light against a dark background. Turn down to show this as the beam in which Blossom was sitting during her nightmare, to the sound of her classmates chanting “A test” and sounding hypnotized as before. We are back in the classroom; she stands in the light, her hair bow replaced by a dunce cap and any semblance of confidence gone. The kids—their eyes no longer glowing red— are gathered behind Ms. Keane, who now wears the same makeup as “Him.” Her ears have also grown points like his, and her voice has taken on a gleefully taunting tone.)
  384.
  385. Ms. Keane: Okay, Blossom. (Back to Blossom, she continues o.c.) You know the rules.
  386.
  387. Blossom: I do? (Ms. Keane again, now holding a stack of cards.)
  388.
  389. Ms. Keane: That’s one!
  390.
  391. (Her voice now echoes like that of “Him” and takes on overtones as if he is saying the words along with her in his effeminate voice. A trap door opens under Blossom’s feet; she gasps and sidesteps it.)
  392.
  393. Ms. Keane: Remember, you’re playing for your life in this game. Gotta stay on your toes, get it?
  394.
  395. (She laughs; the other kids join in for several seconds.)
  396.
  397. Ms. Keane: (evil undertone) SILENCE!
  398.
  399. (They fall quiet; she addresses Blossom and starts to read from her cards.)
  400.
  401. Ms. Keane: (effeminate undertone) Now, first question. What’s two plus two?
  402.
  403. Blossom: Eight!
  404.
  405. Ms. Keane: (evil undertone) Wrong!
  406.
  407. (A laser gun descends from the ceiling and fires at Blossom; she ducks, but gets the top of her dunce cap shot off. The gun rises away.)
  408.
  409. Ms. Keane: (effeminate undertone) What’s three times nine? (Cut to Blossom, her bow back in place.)
  410.
  411. Blossom: Twenty-four!
  412.
  413. Ms. Keane: (from o.c., evil undertone) WRONG!
  414.
  415. (A shadow appears by Blossom and grows to envelop her. She looks up, gasping in shock, and dodges aside an instant before a huge block crashes down and puts a hole in the floor where she was standing. Looking over the edge, she gasps at what she sees: the same surrealistic/Cubistic landscape through which Buttercup fled from the spiders in her nightmare. Camera stays on her.)
  416.
  417. Ms. Keane: (from o.c., effeminate undertone) What’s a hundred and fifty minus one?
  418.
  419. Blossom: Fifteen! (Back to Ms. Keane.)
  420.
  421. Ms. Keane: Wro-oong!
  422.
  423. (The building shakes as a fissure opens in the floor at Blossom’s feet and races toward the back wall and up to the ceiling. She gasps in shock; in seconds, the crack has formed a closed path splitting the front end of the classroom from the rest, and thus her from everyone else. The front end falls away as if it were a piece of cheese being cut from a block; the psychedelic turmoil continues outside. Blossom’s hand reaches over the broken edge of the floor, followed by the rest of her as she climbs back up. Everyone laughs at her, with “Him”’s effeminate glee echoing in the room.)
  424.
  425. (Cuts to MegaMan running away from the attacking robots, all of them were just firing everything blast at anything see. He dodged every last shot from those robots. He quickly found his nearly destroyed house and got inside from living room to the base lab. He hid inside there, crying over his sisters destroyed. They were his reason to fight. He couldn't face his fear without them. He then heard a voice of a old man ghost's voice.)
  426.
  427. Ghost old man: (double voice) MegaMan... (He looked around to see who spoke) MegaMan... This is not real... Look around you, or better yet, look very closely at the robots. You will find all the pieces together. The answer lies within the battle.
  428.
  429. (MegaMan felt felt confidant to that ghost's wisdom. He looked outside to see what the robot's are. Using his scanner to scan them, it showed him codes to complete his sensors. "Unknow origin" "Highly advance" "Futuristic". His scanner went close up to the to the robot's chest to see the sigma symbol "Σ". He now has all the pieces to the puzzle. He was now cross with those robots. He walked up to them with no fear anymore. He charged his "Mega Buster" to the max, then blast right through any of the violent robot that made contact to the buster shot. He then turned to the "Flash Bomb" weapon. He shot each to the robots, making them go boom. For each blast he shot the robots to, the more they fall. MegaMan was now surrounded by the army. In MegaMan's close up, he tighten his glare. He raised his hand, forming a metal hand. He used the "Astro Crush" weapon to summon purple meteors to destroy every last robot around him. As he looked around the city half destroyed, he looked up to the endless skies.)
  430.
  431. MegaMan: (echo to the sky) SIGMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
  432.
  433. (As the name was called, his shadow was underneath him. MegaMan looked behind with pure rage in his face, to see Sigma with a evil grin in his face, also holding a metallic shield.)
  434.
  435. Sigma: Well MegaMan, I didn't think you fight back.
  436.
  437. MegaMan: This is world, where my nightmares come true!!
  438.
  439. Sigma: Oh yes. But your not the only one experiencing those fears.
  440.
  441. MegaMan: Where are they!!?
  442.
  443. Sigma: They're in there own nightmare world! You'll have to get past me to get to them.
  444.
  445. MegaMan: And that's what I intend to turn you to scrap metal, monster!
  446.
  447. Sigma: Brave words boy. Just like my old foe from the future. Ahhh It brings me back memories.
  448.
  449. MegaMan: (enrage) I don't care who I remind you of! I'm sure he would do what ever it takes to take you apart!
  450.
  451. (Sigma laughed evilly like it's a joke to him. He then starts by throwing his shield at MegaMan, but he punched it back at Sigma, but Sigma grabbed it back with no effort.)
  452.
  453. Sigma: Impressive Boy.
  454.
  455. (Sigma then jumped up to the sky, then started shooting fire blast at MegaMan. He was able to dodge them. Sigma however landed back to earth and fired more of his fire his fire balls at MegaMan. MegaMan used his gauntlet fist to shield himself to block the attacks. Sigma got back shield back again, after it bounce back to him. MegaMan was able to scan his attack patterns to attack his weak points. Sigma got back to throw his shield again, but he dashed away from he shield, then straight to sigma. Confused, Sigma stood there frozen and braced himself for MegaMan. MegaMan straight up kicked him in the face n a flash, then a flash punch in his abdomen, making him blow air out, then flash sucker punch him with his gauntlet making him lose teeth [If he even has any]. Sigma was on his knees, but got back up to shoot MegaMan with his fire blast, But MegaMan flew past them, then in a instant, he now started giving Sigma lots of beating with lots of punches. For a final blow, he had used his gauntlet fist to slug Sigma, flat to the ground. Sigma got up from his knees to the ground, looking extremely angry. He turn his face to MegaMan. Being beaten by small kid like excuse of a super hero. Sigma risen from ground, and ran to MegaMan with a battle cry to smash him. Before Sigma could reach to MegaMan, he charged his "Mega buster" to finish him where he stood. As MegaMan fired his charge buster at Sigma, causing him to blow him to tiny explosion, until he screamed in defected.)
  456.
  457. Sigma: (in defect) NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  458.
  459. (After Sigma screamed from that defect, he now got swallowed by the explosion and blew up as the light flashed, turning Sigma into nothing. MegaMan then looked up to the sky to see the fissure, as the camera went close up to it. He then saw Blossom was in trouble.)
  460.
  461. MegaMan: (from o.c.) Don't worry Blossom. (cuts to MegaMan) I'm coming
  462.
  463. (MegaMan flew up to the void to enter Blossom's nightmare.)
  464.
  465.
  466. (Cuts to Blossom continuing her life and death situation. Failing to complete the questions, she was near to her doom, while everyone was laughing evilly to Blossom's struggle.)
  467.
  468. MegaMan: (from o.c.) Blossom!!
  469.
  470. Blossom: MegaMan?
  471.
  472. MegaMan: (appears in time) Blossom! Wake up! It's only a dream! No! a nightmare! These are your nightmares! It's not real!
  473.
  474. (Upon hearing that statement, she finally makes the connection.)
  475.
  476. Blossom: This isn’t real?!
  477.
  478. (Cut to Bubbles and Buttercup, who have turned into small clones of “Him”; and the fake MegaMan turning to Sigma, only their hairlines give any clue as to which is which.)
  479.
  480. [Animation goof: Bubbles does not have the pink tulle at her hemline, and Buttercup’s hands have no claws, and the fake MegaMan is wearing the half green to the chest armor.]
  481.
  482. Blossom: (from o.c.) That laugh. (Ms. Keane has been transformed.) Those claws. (The other kids as well.) This place. Your right MegaMan! (scared and whining) But I can't do it.
  483.
  484. MegaMan: I know you can do it! I know you face your fears! Your the second smartest there is!
  485.
  486. (Back to Blossom; she knew that MegaMan was right. she gets to her feet as the waves of laughter continue for some moments longer.)
  487.
  488. Blossom: Enough! (Silence; she regains her confidence.) Next question.
  489.
  490. (Now, when Ms. Keane speaks, it is “Him”’s voice that dominates, while hers is the understone.)
  491.
  492. “Him”/Ms. Keane: (effeminate voice, laughing) Sure. Next question. (evil' voice) What is the square root of seven? (Effeminate laughter from her and others.)
  493.
  494. Blossom: Seven doesn’t have a square root. It’s prime! (A tense silence.)
  495.
  496. [Error: Mathematically, the first part of her answer is nonsense. A square root can be calculated for any positive quantity; the only issue is whether or not that root will be a rational number.]
  497.
  498. MegaMan: Alright!
  499.
  500. Sigma/Mega: (growls) Show off!
  501.
  502. “Him”/Ms. Keane: (evil voice, clearing throat) That is… (effeminate' voice) …correct. (tossing' card, reading new one) What is the algebraic formula for determining the area of a triangle?
  503.
  504. Blossom: Half the base times height!
  505.
  506. MegaMan: Oh yeah! You go Blossom!
  507.
  508. “Him”/Ms. Keane: (grudgingly) That’s correct. (A new card; rapid fire.) If a train leaves Boston at twelve-thirty PM traveling at seventy-five miles per hour, and another train leaves Los Angeles at the same time traveling at ninety miles per hour… (to' evil voice) …which one will get to Cuba first?
  509.
  510. Blossom: Neither! MegaMan taught me that one! And further more, trains don’t go to Cuba, Ms. Keane!
  511.
  512. Sigma/Mega: Well, how perceptive of you.
  513.
  514. “Him”/Ms. Keane: (effeminate voice) Oh, well, (to' evil voice, tossing cards away) tests bore me. You think you’re so smart, don’t you?
  515.
  516.
  517. Blossom: I outsmarted you, didn’t I?
  518.
  519. MegaMan: You tell'em girl!
  520.
  521. (She jumps backward over the edge and falls from sight. “Him”/Ms. Keane, Signa/Mega, and other kids peer into the abyss.)
  522.
  523. “Him”/Ms. Keane: (effeminate voice) Ooh, that wasn’t too bright. (She laughs.)
  524.
  525. Sigma/Mega: We'll meet again soon!
  526.
  527. MegaMan: Sooner then you think Sigma!
  528.
  529. (MegaMan Then fell to follow Blossom to the void)
  530.
  531. (Cut to Blossom and MegaMan, who has gone into free fall as the laughter echoes from above; Blossom's normal color has now returned. MegaMan and Blossom drops headlong toward the gaping maw of the enormous spider beast that menaced Buttercup. From this height, we can still see the gang of spiders that chased her; they have cornered her at one end of a platform, not far from the big one. As they move in for the kill, MegaMan and Blossom goes into a screaming dive. With the gang still advancing on her, Buttercup takes one step too many backward and plunges off the platform—only to be caught by their sister with no time or space to spare. The giant spider’s teeth snap on a mouthful of air, and the two girls and their brother touch down on an unoccupied platform. Buttercup’s bravado and hell-for-leather demeanor have completely evaporated—her fear of spiders has taken deep root.)
  532.
  533. Buttercup: Guys! What’s going on?
  534.
  535. Blossom: MegaMan will explain on the way. Those things are moving fast!
  536.
  537. MegaMan: (taking' off with Blossom) Let’s go!
  538.
  539. Buttercup: Wait! (Blossom and MegaMan stops short.) I can’t fly!
  540.
  541. Blossom: (landing with MegaMan again) Well, then you can run!
  542.
  543. (The three jump from one platform to the next, with the spiders hot on their tail, but stop when they reach an edge beyond which no other footholds are visible. A large wheel with an eye at its hub rotates slowly in midair at a short distance. Buttercup screams as Blossom eyes this.)
  544.
  545. Buttercup: Blossom! MegaMan! Will you please tell me what’s going on?
  546.
  547. MegaMan: This is world of nightmares created by "Him" and Sigma! (The spiders are closing in.) Quick! Help us with this.
  548.
  549. (A long rope has appeared at the two girls and the robot’ feet; it runs o.c. to each of their sides sides of the screen. They grab hold and pull against each other, finally breaking it. In nothing flat, Blossom and MegaMan knotted her end into a lariat and begun to twirl it.)
  550.
  551. Blossom: When I say “jump,” jump. Okay?
  552.
  553. Buttercup: If you say so.
  554.
  555. (The spiders continue their advance. Blossom and MegaMan twirls her lariat. The spiders advance. Blossom twirls.)
  556.
  557. Blossom: NOW!!
  558.
  559. (As Buttercup hurls herself into space, Blossom and MegaMan sends the lariat after her and jumps as well. The two girls and the humanoid land on one of the wheel’s spokes, and the rope catches on next to them. It is pulled tight as the wheel continues to rotate—the other end is anchored to the platform, one end of which is promptly pulled up due to the tension. All the spiders slide down and fall off the low end into the big one’s mouth.)
  560.
  561. Buttercup: That was awesome, guys! Blossom! You really are the smartest girl in Townsville! And MegaMan! I'm glad your our leader boy for a reason!
  562.
  563. Blossom: Aw, shucks. I was just being resourceful.
  564.
  565. MegaMan: (blushes) (laugh) I don't want to take to much of the credit.
  566.
  567. Buttercup: Whatever. You guys kick butt!
  568.
  569. (A tremor shakes them out of their celebration; cut to their perspective of its source—the giant spider, which is now roaring in fury.)
  570.
  571. Buttercup: Whoa! (Back to the girls and MegaMan.) What the heck is that thing?
  572.
  573. Blossom: Didn't you listen what Mega said? It’s what you’re afraid of.
  574.
  575. Buttercup: I’m not afraid of anything!
  576.
  577. MegaMan: Buttercup, it’s okay to be afraid. We just have to fight our fears. Believe me, I faced my own as well
  578.
  579. Buttercup: I can’t.
  580.
  581. Blossom: (starting to egg her on) You can’t fight a little bug?
  582.
  583. Buttercup: Little?! Those things are huge!
  584.
  585. MegaMan: (toughens up Buttercup) What’s the matter!? You scared!?
  586.
  587. Buttercup: No! I’m not scared, it’s just that—
  588.
  589. Blossom: Sure look scared.
  590.
  591. Buttercup: I am not!
  592.
  593. Blossom: I bet you are.
  594.
  595. Buttercup: You are such a know-it-all!
  596.
  597. Blossom: I know you’re scared.
  598.
  599. MegaMan: That's enough! You got better courage over those freaks! I know you can take'em!
  600.
  601. Buttercup: You want me to fight?
  602.
  603. MegaMan: Yeah!
  604.
  605. Buttercup: Yeah? Blossom's gonna eat those words!
  606.
  607. Blossom: Yeah?
  608.
  609. Buttercup: Yeah!
  610.
  611. (She takes off, a battle cry on her lips and a fist extended to plant in the first enemy she meets—this is the Buttercup we have come to know and love. One spider after another gets it in spades; the massacre ends with her standing amid smashed arachnid bodies and covered in green goo from their innards. She yells again.)
  612.
  613. Buttercup: I AM NOT SCARED!!
  614.
  615. Blossom: Now that’s more like it!
  616.
  617. MegaMan: (proud) That's my Buttercup!
  618.
  619. Bubbles: (from o.c., distant) HEEEELLLLPPPP!!
  620.
  621. MegaMan: Bubbles! (He takes off.)
  622.
  623. (Cut to a black void in which the plastic snake still has Bubbles in its coils—relaxed slightly, as her face is no longer blue. Several other stuffed animals are gathered around; they all look the same, with a face and pincers like “Him” and a pink patch, the same color as his tulle, on their stomachs. One of them speaks, with “Him”’s undertone to its voice; during the following lines, it shifts back and forth between effeminate and evil. This is the ringleader.)
  624.
  625. Ringleader: First we will remove your stuffing!
  626.
  627. All stuffed animals: Yaaay! (Bubbles screams.)
  628.
  629. Bubbles: Blossom! Buttercup! Mega! Help me!
  630.
  631. (She tries to call for help again, but the snake’s coils expand to cover her mouth and muffle her cries.)
  632.
  633. Ringleader: Then we will replace your eyes with tiny glass buttons that stare into space with a vapid expression!
  634.
  635. All stuffed animals: Yaaay!
  636.
  637. Ringleader: Then we will attach a tag to your backside that says “Made in Taiwan”!
  638.
  639. All stuffed animals: Yaaay!
  640.
  641. Ringleader: Then we will—
  642.
  643. (The gloating is cut off by an o.c. crash and a shower of debris. Above them, MegaMan has punched through the “ceiling” of the void and is on the warpath.)
  644.
  645. MegaMan: Then I’m gonna knock the stuffing out of you!
  646.
  647. (His appearance in this scene confirms that, despite appearances, Bubbles’ sequence just before the break was in fact part of her nightmare, not a sequence of real events—it started when she sat up and gasped. MegaMan makes good on his threat against the ringleader, then cuts Bubbles loose with her eye lasers. The latter emerges in her dress, again confirming this as a dream, and she and MegaMan fly up to the hole in the “ceiling”—but one of the other stuffed animals throws a toy and hits Bubbles in the back of the head. As MegaMan gasps, he tumbles down and lands in the middle of the excitedly chattering mob. he jumps to his feet.)
  648.
  649. MegaMan: Bubbles!
  650.
  651. (Bubbles screams and knocks one of her assailants away as they move in.)
  652.
  653. Bubbles: Mega! Help! (She begins to swat others aside.)
  654.
  655. MegaMan: Bubbles! Remember what Blossom told you before you went to sleep?
  656.
  657. Bubbles: (as she is seized) “It isn’t real”?
  658.
  659. MegaMan: Yes!
  660.
  661. Bubbles: I tried that!
  662.
  663. MegaMan: Try again!
  664.
  665. Bubbles: (crying) I can’t! I’m too scared!
  666.
  667. MegaMan: Bubbles, listen to me! You have to fight! (Cut to the mob; he continue o.c.) This place isn’t real! Those eyes! (From-the-ground view of her.) Those claws! Everything! It’s only a dre—
  668.
  669. (One of them takes her to the floor with a high-jump tackle; quick pan to Bubbles.)
  670.
  671. Bubbles: MegaMan!
  672.
  673. [Continuity error: The advice came from the (fake) Blossom who was asleep in the first part of Bubbles’ nightmare. How, then, would the real Blossom have known about it? How did MegaMan even know what Blossom told her?]
  674.
  675. (In a flash, Bubbles breaks the hold on her and rushes the mob. Limbs, bodies, heads, and wads of stuffing fly everywhere as that blue streak flashes all over the place. Her last move is against several that have caught MegaMan; they are summarily exterminated, and Bubbles and MegaMan make their escape through the hole MegaMan smashed, leaving a field of fabric-and-fiberfill carnage behind them. Cut to them in flight through Buttercup’s nightmare landscape—Bubbles carrying MegaMan.)
  676.
  677. MegaMan: You did it! (They land on a platform to Blossom's location.)
  678.
  679. Bubbles: Shouldn’t we be waking up now?
  680.
  681. Blossom: Uh, theoretically, yes, but— (A severed spider leg lands in front of the two.
  682.
  683. Buttercup: (from o.c.) Ha!
  684.
  685. (Cut to behind them and pull back; Buttercup floats in midair, a second leg hoisted over her head. She is no longer covered in slime.)
  686.
  687. Buttercup: Like I said, I ain’t afraid of nothing!
  688.
  689. (She throws it aside and lands by the others.)
  690.
  691. Buttercup: (to Blossom) You owe me big time, sista! (to MegaMan) Now, tell me how we get outta here bro.
  692.
  693. MegaMan: Well, according to my theory If we defect the maker of our nightmares, then we can— (The “sky” darkens.)
  694.
  695. Sigma: MegaMan. You’re always so logical. How droll.
  696.
  697. (Sigma and "Him" appears before them, in separate screens past the edge of the platform, and slowly starts to rise. Only part of "Him's" head and arms are visible above it, but they are enough to show that he is dozens of times his usual size. But Next to "Him" was a wolf. The body of a purple mechincal wolf. Inside the forehead was Sigma inside this pod.)
  698.
  699. “Him”: (giggling) (effeminate voice) Here we are!
  700.
  701. (Overhead view of the girls and MegaMan, who look up in complete terror as some gigantic red structure with side offshoots emerges in front of them. Sigma was in a different level, after showing his humongous)
  702.
  703. “Him”: (from o.c.) Sorry it took us so long. wanted wanted to slip into something more…sinister.
  704.
  705. (On the next line, two tentacles emerge from the structure’s surface. Each has “Him”’s head on its end and speaks in his voice. The wold head growled at the four heroes.)
  706.
  707. “Him”: You have been such good fun, but you’re starting to bore me. As for you MegaMan. You were (now at evil voice) getting on Sigma's last nerve.
  708.
  709. (Pull back to ground level. The structure is the body of an insect-like creature that stands hundreds of feet high. The tentacles are rooted partway up, and there are many pairs of arms, each tipped with “Him”’s pincers—these are the side offshoots seen a moment ago. In addition, the tentacles each have their own pair of pincered arms. The underbelly is armored with the same material, as are the feet. The head of this new incarnation is so far up that it almost cannot be seen; it and the tentacle heads all speak in unison.)
  710.
  711. “Him”: And I’m afraid playtime is over.
  712.
  713. Sigma and "Him" (to' "Him"'s evil voice; head level) We know your deepest, darkest fear. (to "Him"'s effeminate' voice) You are afraid… (To "Him"'s evil' voice) …YOU CANNOT DEFEAT US!!
  714.
  715. (On the end of this, pull back to frames the entire monster .' “Him” is now a scorpion-like creature of epic proportions, standing on four pairs of legs and sporting seven pairs of arms in addition to the tentacles. On his underbelly are the eyes and mouth of the giant spider, while Sigma is now ridding on the Giant wolf monster bot, with two platforming paws to smash anyone with, should someone gets near them.)
  716.
  717. MegaMan: Let’s teach them a lesson!
  718.
  719. Buttercup: Whatever. This guy’s toast! (The girls take off; “Him” extends his tentatcles.)
  720.
  721. “Him”: (effeminate voice) Two heads are better than one!
  722.
  723. (The girls and the laughing heads charge at one another. No contest; in a string of three freeze frames, Blossom lands a flying hook, Bubbles caves in a nose, and Buttercup plants one of her Mary Janes under a chin. The insensate tentacles flop to the ground, and the girls land in front of them.)
  724.
  725. (Cuts to MegaMan. Sigma unleashes electric orbs, coming from the wolf's head to strike MegaMan. With all his timing, MegaMan dodged them all, giving him the chance, he flew up to the head and and gave is rapid punch barrage until he made a uppercut to wolf from the chin, forcing it to stare up top. The wolf head looked back to MegaMan and fired a flame thrower at him, pushing MegaMan back to the flat ground.)
  726.
  727. (Cut back to the girl's battle. “Him” lances his scorpion tail toward the girls—the tentacles have in fact been broken off—but they dodge the strikes easily. After the third, they retreat, regroup, and rush straight toward the head. A devastating triple strike knocks him silly; he shrinks somewhat in slow motion, and Blossom rockets in for another go. However, “Him” recovers his senses in time to grab her with a pair of arms; he smiles, but loses the mood upon looking off to one side. Buttercup is there, moving in to do some damage of her own—and she smashes cleanly through the arms holding Blossom to free her. Now Bubbles gets into the act, barreling straight toward the body and then turning sharply up into a climb. She delivers a punch to his jaw—the Powerpuff equivalent of a brick through a plate glass window.)
  728.
  729. (Back to MegaMan and Sigma's battle. Sigma lashed his "paws" to stop MegaMan, but he quickly dodged them. MegaMan scanned his sensors to find the weak point, and found his target. He charged up his buster to full power. The paws to wolf robot monster was underneath, shooting a lighting strike to MegaMan. As it shot it's electric bolts at MegaMan, he ground away and quickly fired it's buster to the wolf machine's head via damaging it. Sigma recovered from the inside of his giant mech. Unable to find MegaMan, Sigma was caught surprisingly to MegaMan with his gauntlet fist, and punched Sigma in a flash, pushing Sigma out of his machine, also breaking the glass, as it exploded, sending Sigma to lay on the ground defected again.)
  730.
  731. (Cuts to the girs, Buttercup seizes the tail and starts to swing “Him” back and forth, slamming him to the ground twice. He shrinks a few more notches in slow motion, then flicks her away to bounce across the platform. Blossom and Bubbles zip along the platform to each other and take off again, landing single and double hits that send him reeling. When they finish, cut to a close up of "Him" standing next to the defected Sigma, cowering at the platform’s edge; he has returned to his usual size and appearance. MegaMan and the girls float above hem; the “sky” has lightened again.)
  732.
  733. [Animation goof: During this final sequence, Him's legs are clad in the same black spike-heeled boots he usually wears, rather than the pincer-material armor as before. Also, arms and legs disappear at each stage of shrinking, though this may be an intentional effect.]
  734.
  735. “Him”: (effeminate voice, pleading) Please, no more! (Pull back.) Don’t hit me!
  736.
  737. Sigma: (raising his head) I don’t understand. we were so close! we almost had you. You are supposed to be afraid!
  738.
  739. Blossom: Guess you should’ve done your homework, weirdos. (Zoom in on her, Bubbles and MegaMan.)
  740.
  741. Bubbles: We’re family and we love each other!
  742.
  743. MegaMan: And we’re not afraid of anything as long as we have each other.
  744.
  745. Buttercup: (now o.c.) Gimme a break, you two. (Cut to her.) Yap, yap, yap. Can I toss this guy already?
  746.
  747. (Her sisters and brother glare angrily at her, then suddenly smile.)
  748.
  749. Blossom: Oh…okay. (Buttercup throws a wicked look toward “Him.”)
  750.
  751. “Him”: (stammering) No, wait! It’s cool! It’s cool! Everything’s cool!
  752.
  753.
  754. (With a Cheshire-cat grin and a pair of lowered eyebrows, Buttercup launches herself straight at him. A flash of light, and he has been knocked over the brink to tumble into the madness of this place.)
  755.
  756. “Him”: (fading out) NOOOOOOOO!!
  757.
  758. (Cuts to Sigma trying to get back up. He heard the charging energy. As Sigma turned back to the the girls and MegaMan charging his "Mega Buster", MegaMan fired it at Sigma. As he was hit from it, it caused it yet again, making him blowing up then explode. Sigma screamed as he was turned to nothing.)
  759.
  760. (The four heroes look down , then fall backward onto the platform. Overhead view: they land on their backs, in the same order in which they were in bed.)
  761.
  762. Buttercup: Wow! That was intense!
  763.
  764. Blossom: (catching her breath) Yeah, great.
  765.
  766. Bubbles: (likewise) Are we supposed to wake up now?
  767.
  768. Buttercup: Yeah! (The camera starts to rotate.)
  769.
  770. MegaMan Well, theoretically we should. I mean, gosh, I hope we do.
  771.
  772. (The rotation stops. Dissolve to the bedroom, where the girls are asleep in bed; their sleeping forms appear in exactly the same positions on the screen as their dream selves. It is now the next morning—that is, the morning after they defeated the gray lizard beast at the start of the episode—and all four are smiling in their sleep. Cut to the head of the bed. They sit up one by one—Bubbles, Blossom, Meha, Buttercup—their eyes partway open and the smiles still on their faces. The girls are in their nightgowns, as Mega was back to only being bare chested and helmetless, further proving this as the real world. After a moment, their eyes go wide.)
  773.
  774. Girls and Mega: Professor?
  775.
  776. (Pull back. He is curled up on the foot of the bed, in his pajamas, fast asleep with a thumb in his mouth, but wakes up suddenly.)
  777.
  778. Bubbles: What are you doing in our bed?
  779.
  780. Professor: (sheepishly, now sitting up) Oh, I’m sorry. I got scared. I was having a nightmare.
  781.
  782. Girls and Mega: Really? (Close-up of him.)
  783.
  784. Professor: Yeah, kinda silly, huh? A grown man like me having a nightmare?
  785.
  786. Bubbles: (from o.c.) Aw, Professor, don’t worry. (Pull back; the girls float next to him.) We’ll protect you. (He smiles.)
  787.
  788. Professor: Gee, you kids sure are brave.
  789.
  790. (The standard end shot comes up.)
  791.
  792. Narrator: So once again the day is saved—thanks to the Powerpuff Girls and MegaMan
