  1. Qr~ - Today at 2:14 PM
  2. In my opinion, I feel like if you want to actually address any issues you have with the group currently you can't just make a large announcement like that. Sure this will make everyone in the group aware that you take issue with some vague things and certain unknown people, but I don't feel like it solves any problems.
  3.
  4. People in the group may be wondering, "is it me that's the problem?", but no one knows for sure since you've said only some people are an issue. We might not necessarily know if it is us. I feel like something like this would've been better handled as private conversations with people you're having issues with, as then they know that there is a problem with them and are not left wondering. This also lets you have a conversation with them to find a solution to the problem.
  5.
  6. I don't think you can just say these general statements and expect anything good to come from it except unrest. You haven't supplied anyone with solutions, or ways to work out solutions. Nobody knows if they are an issue and what is expected of them to solve this issue. Maybe they think they are an issue now when they are not or will think they might not be an issue when they are.

  8. I have spoken about my concerns about raiding attitudes before so I am sure that the offenders know. And its literally an attitude shift that is the solution.
  9. If that isn't possible i will not raid. Its offensive to me and people who put in work to raid to put up with someone who might not even want to be raiding.
  10. Like its that simple, i work hard at work with stress. I dont want to come home and deal with people who act like raiding is pulling teeth. Its actually very easy and if the appearance of enjoying it was there i wouldnt have a problem.
  11. Qr~ - Today at 2:21 PM
  12. I had the feeling that most people enjoyed last night overall. People were getting slightly frustrated around the end of V2S, but I think that could have been remedied by taking a short break slightly earlier.
  13. I'm not entirely sure which attitudes you're having issues with. Aside from people being frustrated from being stuck on V2 for so long, there was also an issue with people not knowing how long we were raiding for. I personally was under the impression it would be a 3h raid, because you had said we would usually have 3 3h raid nights / week and that the first week was only an exception because we couldn't find 3 days to raid that week.
  14. Also, I don't think it's fair to assume that people who are doing wrong will know that they are an offender. Sometimes people will continue to act that way because they don't actually know they are doing something wrong. I don't really see anything wrong will personally talking to the person about it instead of just saying a general statement and assuming they will get the message.

  16. Its Eden. I still feel as though she doesn't really want to raid. Which to me is very rude since i fronted the money to get the characters and stuff. Like i said if this is too much or cant be done i will not raid. And i have spoken about the attitude
  17. Qr~ - Today at 2:58 PM
  18. She does want to raid. She actually enjoys it for the most part. Which part of her attitude are you unhappy with?
  19. Vox Veritatis - Today at 2:59 PM
  20. The fact she is unwilling to do much besides log for raid. This may not be her main, but it's other ppls main
  21. Qr~ - Today at 3:00 PM
  22. What expectations do you have of her?
  23. Vox Veritatis - Today at 3:01 PM
  24. To play the game? That's kinda one of the points of a raid team. To do shit together
  25. Old primals maps for creation tokens
  26. Qr~ - Today at 3:06 PM
  27. I don't think either me or Eden would have agreed to raid if we knew that we would have to do everything on our alts. We were both under the impression that we would be raiding together, not doing everything in the game together. We don't even spend that much time on our mains. I haven't been capping on my main, or doing much on it at all because I prioritize capping on my alt with the amount of time I have to play this game.
  28. If you're unhappy with the amount of time we can commit to the game, I will pay you back for the money you've spent and we can leave the raid group.
  29. Vox Veritatis - Today at 3:11 PM
  30. No it's fine. It sounds like im the problem wanting more. I will say that details upon bringing you two in were pretty sparse. We didn't even know about job scheduling til the group was getting ready to go
  31. Qr~ - Today at 3:14 PM
  32. The thing with Eden is that she gets burnt out on games really easily. If we spend 3 hours raiding she's not going to want to play the game much more after that. She likes changing up what she does a lot. If you start saying that we have to do extra things outside of raid which is what she signed up to do in the first place, then it starts feeling like a job than something fun to do with her friends.
  33. Vox Veritatis - Today at 3:17 PM
  34. But you agreed to raid with me.... in all these years my ideal raid group has been prettt clear.
  35. Qr~ - Today at 3:17 PM
  36. you also said it would be a midcore group. albeit midcore wasn't properly defined, but you were usually operating under a hardcore mindset when you used to raid
  37. Vox Veritatis - Today at 3:19 PM
  38. It would appear my "midcore" is more aligned with the normal "casual"
  39. Qr~ - Today at 3:19 PM
  40. we agreed to raid with you. for us, raiding meant going into the raids not necessarily spending time doing all other things in the game together.
  41. Vox Veritatis - Today at 3:20 PM
  42. There is more to a raid group than just the raid. How are people supposed to get close as a group with only 9 hrs
  43. Qr~ - Today at 3:21 PM
  44. there are people I am much closer with than you guys that I see for much less than 9 hours / week
  45. I see where you're coming from. But unfortunately there was a miscommunication when we joined as to exactly what was expected of us.
  46. I just don't think our expectations of what this was going to be have lined up, and if you're unhappy with what we're willing to commit to the group then as I said I would be happy to give you back the money you spent on us and we will leave so you can find more like-minded people.
