  1. I seriously regret volunteering for this job.
  2.
  3. When I joined the Order's Librarians, I thought it would be a cushy, monster - free existence, where I could just read my books all day and never have to worry about being abducted or raped. An existence where I could just grow old alone, surrounded by ancient knowledge and people with similar interests to mine. No danger, because no one other than trained Mages are even going to look at the more hazardous tomes anyway. It's just our job to look after them and maybe sit around and read some old historical documents now and them for clues on where to find more.
  4.
  5. But then I found out about the other duties we would have. As you'd guess, it turns out that these ancient tomes have to come from somewhere, and when the Order's Chief Librarians hears of something of value to them hidden somewhere, a party gets sent out to claim it. The good news is that the jobs are far too dangerous for some weak scholar to do, so the Library's Paladins get sent out to recover them. The bad news? These guys have no idea what they're doing with these ancient powerful books, so at least one Librarian is sent out with them to ensure it doesn't curse an entire city, or explode somehow.
  6.
  7. Naturally, this "Privilege" falls to the younger Librarians. Can't go risking one of the old guys in picking up some dusty spell book that could potentially vaporize a kingdom now, can we? No, that would be silly. Besides, they can't go on long quests because of health reasons, right?
  8.
  9. Well, maybe I'm just being bitter here and that its actually some rite of passage that we don't actually get told about until we've passed the test, but I really don't feel that safe getting marched into some monster infested tomb. I don't care if I have two huge Paladins guarding me and doing all the heavy lifting, going into one of these places on nothing but a rumor is pretty much suicide in my eyes.
  10.
  11. And then it happened. Now, I like to think of myself as the smart type, I did get accepted into the Order Library after all, but dungeon traps aren't exactly my specialty.
  12.
  13. Ross, The more experienced of the Paladins noticed just as I put my foot down on the tile.
  14.
  15. "Shit! Rez, Don't Mo-"
  16.
  17. But it was too late, as the portion of floor that I was standing on had already collapsed and sent me tumbling into the darkness below. I felt a sudden sharp pain as my face presumably hit the floor below, and then silence. I slowly became aware of two distant voices above me, which I realized were the two men tasked with protecting me.
  18.
  19. "Oh fuck, you see that? He's dead, some scrawny little shit ain't gonna live through that!" Yelled Kyle, the junior of the duo.
  20.
  21. "We aren't just going to leave him down there, Kyle!" Ross snapped. "Rez! HEY, REZ! CAN YOU HEAR ME? WE'LL TRY AND FIND A WAY DOWN, STAY CALM AND DON'T MOVE!"
  22. I could hear someone walking high above me, and the other voice cut in "You're yelling at a corpse, Ross. Face it, the kid's dead and there's no point in us dicking about in this grave when we can't even fucking touch the book!"
  23.
  24. I sat up and noticed that while I hurt all over, by some miracle of the Chief God nothing was broken. "Hey, I'm OK!" I cried, coughing on the dust cascading onto my head.
  25. "You hear that? he's alive! REZ, STAY THERE. WE CAN'T GET DOWN FROM HERE, BUT WE WILL FIND YOU!" Ross shouted back down. Moments later I was left alone in silence. Normally I'm not afraid of the dark, but considering this is a tomb and is likely full of undead at the lower levels, I wasn't about to sit around and wait for some Ghoul to jump on me. All Librarians learn at least some rudimentary spells in their study, either taught as self defense or just learned during a rainy afternoon's read, and I remembered that I knew a simple illumination spell.
  26.
  27. A brief incantation later and a small orb of light hovered over my head. I could now see around me, but instantly wished that I couldn't. I had fallen into some ancient library, filled with books, some written in languages that I doubt even the elders knew, and others clearly demonic in nature. A few of them looked like they would be interesting to study but all my enthusiasm for this find left me when I looked ahead and saw a figure sitting in a chair, book in hand, and glaring at me disapprovingly.
  28.
  29. It was a young woman, but it was obvious from the first glance that something was off about her. Her skin was pale, almost white, as was her hair. She appeared to be dressed in nothing but a flowing purple cloak with a bizarre design on the hood, resembling a tombstone. This design was decorated with a glowing orb at each point, shining the same ominous purple of her eyes. I remembered such descriptions from the old world guide back when I was a student - it was a Lich.
  30.
  31. "O-oh... N-no..." I whispered, trembling violently.
  32.
  33. "Do you mind? I'm trying to concentrate." She sighed, in a calm and gentle voice. She immediately bowed her head back into the book and stared intently at the page.
  34.
  35. "W-what?" Was my meek reply, still trembling at the sight of the powerful undead. Noticing that she was engrossed in her book, I took the opportunity to hobble away from her, only to fall back due to some unseen force.
  36.
  37. "I propose an experiment." The lich suddenly announced, slamming her book shut. I looked around and saw her standing in front of the chair, staring towards me.
  38.
  39. "Uh...I'm actually just leaving" I nervously giggled and tried to leave, only to get dragged back by that mysterious energy and fell on my back again.
  40.
  41. She approached my prone form, hovering slightly off the floor and continued: "I lack a test participant, and believe that as a man you can be of great assistance in my research." I shuffled back as her hovering form edged closer, my back suddenly hitting a bookshelf and causing me to jolt, startled. A subtle, wry smile appeared on her face. "My, aren't you a nervous little fellow?" She bent over as she stood over me, her moderate and perky breasts almost spilling out from her cloak and making it rather clear that she indeed wasn't wearing underwear. I mentally slapped myself for ogling a living corpse.
  42.
  43. "How about it, sweetie? Would you like to be my guinea pig?" She cooed, in a far more seductive tone than she had previously used. My mind and heart were racing.
  44.
  45. The stress was making it hard to remember what exactly Liches liked to experiment on. But whatever it was, being an undead sorceress' test subject was not going to be a good thing. "I SHOULD BE GOING!" I rushed, stumbling to my feet and trying to stagger off, only for a hand to grab mine.
  46.
  47. Suddenly, I felt the side of her face press against mine and she whispered something indecipherable. Immediately I jolted back as a wave of intense pleasure flooded through my entire body. I sank to my knees, gasping as my underwear suddenly became damp and uncomfortable. A hand rested on my shoulder from behind. "I assure you, that's just a basic Eromancy spell. We're going to have a lot more fun than that." Eromancy. I'd heard about it back when I was a student, a school of magic forbidden by The Order for being heresy, but supposedly widely practiced by the Demon Lord's mages and certain powerful monsters.
  48.
  49. The Lich floated around so she was facing me, and held out her hand. "You may call me Alyssa, my dear. And who might you be?" I knelt before her, panting from the intensity of the spell just cast on me.
  50.
  51. "I'm Rez, an Order Librarian" I gasped out. "You should let me go, two Paladins are on the way to rescue me and they'll be here soon" I added, hoping to threaten her.
  52.
  53. This was met by the Lich giggling gently, and holding a hand up to her face. "I would like to see them try." She grabbed my hand and effortlessly pulled me up to my feet and close to her face. In the glow of the light orb above me, she gained an ethereal beauty about her. Alyssa's eyes stared into mine. "As you have probably already guessed, I am not allowing you to leave. But please do not despair, for your life will now be an endless torrent of pleasure!" A grin broke out on her face at the final word, and ran a cold hand down my cheek.
  54.
  55. I wasn't about to spend my whole life trapped in some old tomb with some perverted dead mage. "But there's more to uh... life?" I stopped, wondering if that was in bad taste " Uh, more to life than pleasure!" I argued, prompting a laugh from Alyssa. "Go on then, dear Rez. Enlighten me!" The chair seemed to drag itself across the room behind her, and Alyssa dropped onto it, crossing her legs in an exaggerated way, obviously to display her lack of panties. "Well?" She grinned, her attitude reminding me of a teacher mocking an arrogant student before the class.
  56.
  57. "What about happiness? or love? or fulfillment?" I began. Alyssa chuckled to my protests and rolled her eyes dramatically "The magic I practice gives you pleasure and happiness beyond compare, I assure you." She smiled, resting her head in her hand and swinging a foot of the chair "And as for love? give it time..."
  58.
  59. I felt desperation start to creep in. "You can obviously do without me! What were you doing before we met?" I demanded.
  60. Alyssa brought two fingers to her mouth and slowly ran her tongue over them, winking with a smile "Well, not all Eromancy magic requires a partner, you understand." Of course. Maybe I could move the conversation away from this subject, the Lich looked like she was ready to start masturbating then and there.
  61. Hey, wait a minute. I think I have it: "It was pitch black in here before I cast my light in here. How were you reading that book anyway?"
  62.
  63. Alyssa cocked her head sideways in confusion. "I'm undead. I can see in the dark. And besides, I'm a better magic user than any mage you've met before, I can assure you." She replied with a slight annoyance. "And you call yourself a scholar?"
  64.
  65. "I'm a Librarian," I corrected. "We just look after all the old research notes, spell tomes, historical texts, that sort of thing." Alyssa sat in her chair, looking bored. "So why are you here then? Shouldn't you be in your boring and uneventful little library?" She teased.
  66.
  67. "I was sent here looking for some old spell tome. I bet its probably in this library. What are you doing with a book that doesn't involve Eromancy, anyway?" This is great, stalling for time would allow Ross and Kyle to get here and rid of her before she rapes me.
  68.
  69. "I wasn't born a Lich, Rez. I used to be a sorceress, researching dull and frivolous things, like magic that doesn't result in climax." She sat up and ran a hand through her hair. "But then I died as the result of an experiment and I've never looked back. Being undead gives me all the time I'll ever need for research!" I looked towards what I assumed was the exit, and as I turned my head back towards the Lich, a look of annoyance suddenly spread on her face, and she sighed. "Enough talk. I've let you stall for time long enough." She paused and looked at my increasingly flustered face with satisfaction. "This is going to feel wonderful!"
  70.
  71. A purple aura spilled out around her, the Lich's eyes glowing even more brightly than before. My light orb immediately vanished, and the room was enveloped in a dull purple glow. Oh shit, this was demonic energy, and lots of it. Her eyes were hypnotic, I couldn't look away from them as she slowly and seductively approached me. My pants became tight with a painful erection almost trying to force its way through, as Alyssa ran a finger down my chest to my belt. She pushed me down gently, but with more strength than her seemingly slight form should be capable of. My pants seemed to remove themselves as my back touched the floor, and a pleasant tingling sensation covered my body as the purple energy swept over. Alyssa slipped off her cloak revealing her creamy, pale skin and firm, perky breasts. Her pale blue nipples were standing erect, and looked so inviting as a violent urge to forget everything and just fuck engulfed me.
  72.
  73. Alyssa noticed me greedily staring at her breasts and pulled my head into them, and I started to tease her nipples with my tongue, before slowly sucking on them. The Lich moaned gently in response to this, before grabbing my head and yanking it up so we stared straight into each others eyes. She pressed her lips to mine and began to passionately slide her tongue around my mouth, tracing circles around my own. It was strange at first, the cold sensation of her flesh should have been unpleasant, but somehow it felt amazing. It was probably due to the demonic energy she was pouring into the air. After a while she leaned back with her hands to my face and grinned. "For this experiment, I'm going pump you full of demonic energy. Not enough to turn you into an Incubus, but hopefully more than enough to make you a twitching, drooling mess." Her lips returned to mine, and she lowered herself onto my erection.
  74.
  75. I gasped out as her genitals tightly clasped mine. "Enjoy having your prick used as a spiritual lightning rod!" She grinned, before she violently started thrusting and grinding on top of me. She grabbed my hand and started to run her tongue along the fingers, stopping to suck hard on them every so often. My body felt like it was moving against my will at this point, and my other hand started to caress her tits. It didn't take long before I was close to orgasm from her riding alone, but suddenly I felt something both hot and tingly flow through me as the climax hit. I immediately started convulsing and screaming as the pleasure overwhelmed my mind, Alyssa just bent over me, studying my face with a big smile. "Hmmmm! Feels good, eh? I'm sure we can improve on that for next time, though."
  76.
  77. I laid there for what felt like forever, Alyssa gently stoking my face with a gentle smile on her own. I suddenly sat bolt upright "Oh God, what did I just do?"
  78.
  79. The expression on the Lich's face didn't change "Demonic Energy is rather potent, is it not? As you gain a resistance you'll last longer, don't worry." She pushed me back on the floor and held me tight in her arms. A scream came echoing in from the distance, and I immediately realized that it probably belonged to one of the Paladins. "Hehe, looks like your friends are enjoying my little welcome, so don't worry, Rez - we won't be disturbed." The Lich whispered in my ear as I fell asleep, exhausted. As I drifted off, I remembered something I had read a while ago, their one weakness and my way out of here - she had to to have her phylactery around here somewhere...
