[2017-06-21 13:08:40] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Get_Lost keeps working on the civilian safety for awhile, then puts the robots on a pre-set schedule and makes sure to have the console modified one following her, then starts moving towards the tower to meet the others
[2017-06-21 13:08:56] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Mitzi frowns as she flexes her claws, knowing they weren't any help against the strange fire zebras... unless she could get back to the ship, and take up her cannon again.
[2017-06-21 13:09:11] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Golden_Dream loads the revolver and breaks open the shotgun... And feels a gust of wind hit her on the face. Huh. "Alright, here's what we're doin'. First, we're goin' back t' th' airship. Need t' go n' grab th'  CRUX. Second, we need t' find Get n' get th' 411. Third, we go n' kill queen bitch. We all clear?"

[2017-06-21 13:13:18] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The sky is severed by streams of gunfire.  Anti-air turrets tear into pirate ships and the /New Cumulus/.  Three of the pirate ships disengage the seraphs to return fire, concentrating on one of the skyscrapers with its mounted turrets.  The front jaw of the Enclave Raptor opens, and a black swarm of pegasi spwes forth, some pulling sky tanks or battle wagons
[2017-06-21 13:14:53] <Mare-Do-Well> 3A giant, winged seraph that looks vaguely like a griffin made out of fire swoops into the midst of the swarm.
[2017-06-21 13:18:03] * Noble_Heart takes to the sky above the colosseum, Golden Dream held fast in her magic as she flew skywards towards the last location of their airship. Sparing a brief glance in the direction of the ongoing pegasus offensive action. The sight is enough to redouble her efforts skywards. Best to retrieve what they needed as swiftly as possible now.
[2017-06-21 13:18:54] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Pegasi scatter, the seraph's flame consuming them even before it's fiery "talons" meet feather or flesh.  With a wing, it devastates a small convoy of battle wagons.
[2017-06-21 13:19:33] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The remains of the convoy come crashing down into the street just beyond the Imperial Palace courtyard.
[2017-06-21 13:19:45] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The Raptor turns its huge underbelly gun on the seraph.  A torrential burst of energy pours from the weapon; the sound is like lightning screaming in pain.
[2017-06-21 13:20:31] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The blast tears apart one of the seraph's wings, sending it spinning towards the ground.  It hits with an explosion of light in the street not far away.
[2017-06-21 13:21:31] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Those zebras and changelings who had been on approach to the palace are abruptly scattered as the battle falls from the sky and spills into the streets.
[2017-06-21 13:32:30] * Get_Rez is in the streets next to the palace, still followed by the console modified drone, looking for her friends
[2017-06-21 13:35:01] * Shatara grills Jugeote for any more strategic details, not quite willing to stake the fate of an entire nation on a coin flip
[2017-06-21 13:35:28] <Mitzi> Mitzi calls up as Nobm
[2017-06-21 13:35:56] <Mitzi> *calls up as Noble heads for the ship. "Get Ur cannon whil

[2017-06-21 13:36:18] * Golden_Dream arrives at the Shadowbolt and immediately runs out to where the CRUX was stored. If it's where she left it, she hefts it on her bag and sprints towards the radio. "Get! Get, this is Goldy on th' Shadowbolt! What th' hell's goin' on up north?"
[2017-06-21 13:39:47] <Mare-Do-Well> 3One of the crashed Enclave wagons is a familiar-looking science wagon.  The sky vehicle smashed through a statue of a triumphant Caesar before coming to rest in the water fountain beyond.  The wagon is badly canted amongst mangled sprays of water, the shattered edge of the fountain pouring water into the street.
[2017-06-21 13:42:04] * Get_Lost moves as fast as possible to the crash sites to give medical care to the wounde and a quick prayer to the goddesses for the dead
[2017-06-21 13:42:16] * Noble_Heart spends her time onboard retrieving Mitzi's cannon, and ensuring that some of the cargo onboard was still safe. "We hope that this vessel survives the oncoming battle. It is where We keep all of Our stuff!" She gathered on the deck, waiting for Golden Dream to finish her preparations.
[2017-06-21 13:43:16] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The pegasi pilot is dead in her harness.  The back door thuds open.  Doctor Sonica stumbles shakily out, a rain of small, broken instruments following.  She looks up in time to see the wounded seraph crouched at the far end of the street turn and spot the wagon.
[2017-06-21 13:46:36] * Get_Lost trots faster "oh c'mon, you can't be serious!" tries to reach sonica's location "Sonica, get out of here fast! that thing is dangerous!"
[2017-06-21 13:48:03] * Golden_Dream repeats into the radio, "Get_Lost, pick up! What th' hell's goin' on?"
[2017-06-21 13:48:21] * Bookwright has already arrived outside and has his camera out, shooting photos of the action in the skies. He'd read about war photographers, but never anticipated that he might be one. He manages to capture the moment the Raptor fired on the flaming griffin in a shot that will surely go down in history. Sonica's crashed wagon, with the doctor herself stumbling out is another. And more shots, of the...
[2017-06-21 13:48:21] * Bookwright ...burning skyline and the traceries of anti-air fire intermingling with Enclave troops, armor, and the looming underbellies of the pegasus cloud ships and pirate airships.
[2017-06-21 13:50:19] * Get_Lost "I think i'm in trouble! I'm in the same plaza where a really big seraph crashed, i was going to help the injured, but i think it noticed me... i mean, i'm not really picky on stallions courting me at this point, but i think he's interested in my body in the wrong way..."
[2017-06-21 13:50:36] * Get_Lost "Oh, and i'm with sonica, please help us? pretty please?"
[2017-06-21 13:50:54] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica stumbles back, one hoof held to her head.  Blood from a headwound is running down the side of her face, blinding her in one eye.  She moves unsteadily towards the sound of Get_Lost's voice.  "I have... in the wagon... modified version of the hellhound control array,"  she says.  "I think, if we set it up, we can make the seraph leave the city."
[2017-06-21 13:51:26] * Mitzi followed Bookwright out after calling to Noble and folloes
[2017-06-21 13:52:17] <Mitzi> *follows him down into the chaos of the streets, loping on all fours and keeping ears and nose up for danger, planning to avoid it until better equipped
[2017-06-21 13:53:47] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The crippled seraph begins to lumber down the street towards Get_Lost, Sonica and the crashed wagon.  It's heat sets fire to buildings and sears the street as it moves, leaving a swath of flames in its wake.
[2017-06-21 13:55:09] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Jugeote tells Shatara what she knows, but there isn't much.  Her father never tried to raid Aurum Imperium tower, so while she can point it out to the others, she doesn't know much about its defenses.
[2017-06-21 13:55:27] * Get_Lost "i can help with that, but we have... we can call it a situation, i think... and it's approaching very fast. here, have a healing potion, i'll try to have that monster follow me while you try to put the device online"
[2017-06-21 13:58:17] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Once pointed out, the skyscraper with its lines of ivory and golden flake decorative trim is hard to ignore.  Shatara can see point- defense turrets mounted at intervals along the outside, and small military drones hovering around it near the top.
[2017-06-21 13:58:30] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Unlike the skyscrapers whose anti-air turrets are controlled from Aurum Imperium tower, the tower itself is crowned with an airship docking tower.
[2017-06-21 13:59:10] * Golden_Dream curses. "... Noble, we gotta go save Get. She's bein' attacked by some Seraph in th' Plaza."
[2017-06-21 14:00:17] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica bulks a moment at the risk Get_Lost is taking, then nods.  "I hope it still works."
[2017-06-21 14:02:18] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica drinks the potion, and immediately her moments improve.  She dives back into the wreckage, getting to work.
[2017-06-21 14:02:29] * Noble_Heart nods her head. "Then we shall go!" She wraps her magic around Golden Dream, taking to the skies once more as she plunges back into the burning, battle-torn city from the skies above. She dove towards the crash site of the griffin shaped seraph and the downed skywagon.
[2017-06-21 14:02:35] * Get_Lost rwlpies while galloping "I hope that too! if i die, you run away to a safe place!"
[2017-06-21 14:02:58] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica calls back, "Don't die!"
[2017-06-21 14:04:05] * Shatara feels the beginnings of a plan forming. "You think the Shadowbolt's stealth can get us to that collar unnoticed? Hell, it's an Imperial ship, it might even have clearance codes..."
[2017-06-21 14:04:21] * Get_Lost doesn't reply and gets a little closer to the monster to have it follow her "HEY YOU SERAPH! COME AND GET SOME!"
[2017-06-21 14:06:42] * Bookwright snaps one last picture of Get_Lost shouting defiantly before he lowers his camera and whispers in her ear. "Let's get it to follow us, then go around a blind corner, and I'll teleport us both back to the wagon, okay? Should be able to lose the seraph that way."
[2017-06-21 14:07:20] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Jugeote nods.  "It was an Imperial ship.  We might get lucky.  If the Leviathan was coordinating their campaign against us, then Roam might never have gotten word the ship was compromised."
[2017-06-21 14:12:30] * TenMihara gives Sonica a Sour Look but doesnt bother wasting words on her as she listens to Bookwright

[2017-06-21 14:14:47] * Get_Lost nodnods at bookie's plan and follows him
[2017-06-21 14:15:28] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The seraph's fiery head turns as it fixates on the small group so expertly vying for its attention.
[2017-06-21 14:16:28] * Get_Lost blows a raspberry at the thing and shows her plot, then starts galloping as soon as bookies goes
[2017-06-21 14:16:30] * Bookwright and Get_Lost quickly have the horrible fire beast's attention. After allowing Get_Lost a moment to blow a raspberry at the creature, they both take off at speed down the street for a few blocks, the disabled seraph lumbering inexpertly behind them.
[2017-06-21 14:17:13] * Bookwright and Get_Lost round a corner. "D'you think we should lead it on some more?"
[2017-06-21 14:19:58] * Get_Lost "i think that this area is safe, i had civilians moved from the most dangerous blocks... we can let it go loose here"
[2017-06-21 14:20:11] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Shatara and Jugeote reach the invisible ship, the /Shadowbolt/ suddenly seemign to appear all around them.
[2017-06-21 14:20:36] * Mitzi hesitates a moment as Bookie and Get take off. She turns to Sonica. "Get said yu cud make da Serphs go away?"
[2017-06-21 14:20:58] <Mare-Do-Well> 3A few stripeless wave at their arrival.  Most, however, are staring over the railings in awe and fear as the battle rages all around them.
[2017-06-21 14:21:42] * Bookwright nods, and wraps a hoof around Get_Lost. "Brace yourself. If you feel like your entire body is being liquified and forced out your left nostril, it's working properly."
[2017-06-21 14:22:37] * Get_Lost "that's terrific! i always wanted to feel that way!" laughs maniacally
[2017-06-21 14:22:39] * Bookwright and Get_Lost disappear, and for an instant of nothingness that is immeasurable they do not exist, and then they reappear right back next to Sonica's wagon.
[2017-06-21 14:22:43] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica *eeps* as Mitzi appears.  Her hoof moves to her thudding heart.  But then she smiles.  "Mitzi!  Good... um... "  She lets the sentence trail off.  Then nods.  "Yes."
[2017-06-21 14:23:54] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The seraph lumbers around the corner, then lets out a flame-fueled roar when it finds its prey has disappeared.  It sinks burning talons into the cobblestones and starts to dig.
[2017-06-21 14:24:54] * Mitzi nods. "Not sure wut might happen wit confused stripey ponees und bug ponees around. Eef yur ting can make Stripey Ponees safe, Peace comes fastur. Maybe yu no longer be despised un."
[2017-06-21 14:25:34] * Noble_Heart descends upon the ruined fountain and the downed skytank just as Bookwright and Get Lost reappear. "We apologize for late arrival." She levitates the energy cannon to Mitzi, gently setting Golden Dream upon the cobblestones. "Has Shatara found a means to reach the tower?"
[2017-06-21 14:26:46] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica nods and turns back to her work, trying to reassemble the (very familiar to Mitzi) array.  It clearly took significant battering in the fall, but she insists, "I can fix this..."
[2017-06-21 14:27:00] * Shatara nods. "Right. We've got the Leviathan's crew too, actually... So we storm the control room, take control, CRUX it if we can't." He sets Jugeote on the deck and looks around. Frowns. He checks his pipbuck map, follows the tags to the others....right to the burning ball of death kaiju. "...FFfffuuuuuuck."
[2017-06-21 14:27:13] * Mitzi smiles as Noble brings her the cannon. "Uh'll protect yu," she says to Sonica. "Dun know magic tings, but good at fighteen."
[2017-06-21 14:28:25] <Mare-Do-Well> 3There is a tremor under the wagon.
[2017-06-21 14:29:18] <Mitzi> Mitzi frowns and leaps back from it, grabbing zs
[2017-06-21 14:29:31] <Mitzi> *grabbing Donica and pulling her away
[2017-06-21 14:29:57] <Mitzi> Sonica*
[2017-06-21 14:30:25] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Above, a buzzing fills the air.  The sound of a changeling patrol.  They're not even trying to hide anymore, swooping towards the Palace.
[2017-06-21 14:31:35] <Mare-Do-Well> 3As they move overhead, one of them glances down, its cyan eyes locking on Noble_Heart.  It shouts to the others and they all stop, turning about to look at those on the ground.
[2017-06-21 14:32:13] <Mare-Do-Well> 3There is a rumble of thunder overhead.  The light rain begins to fall more heavily.
[2017-06-21 14:32:34] * Golden_Dream hops out of the Noble bubble, hefting her revolver in the mouth slot of her armor. "Alright. They're headin' for th' palace. We gotta go out there n' stop th' guns. Anyone got a-" Oh hi changelings. "- SHIT. FIGHT 'R FLIGHT, FOLKS?"
[2017-06-21 14:32:42] * Get_Lost as soon as she shakes off teleport sickness, starts working o the antenna too "I'm helping!"
[2017-06-21 14:33:22] * Mitzi raises her cannon towards the changelings. If they got any closer she'd fire a warning shot.
[2017-06-21 14:33:27] * Noble_Heart backs away from the rumbling ground. "We suggest departure. Swiftly. The less time we spend on open streets during an ongoing war, the better."
[2017-06-21 14:33:53] <Mare-Do-Well> 3A flash of light amongst the clouds -- not from lightning this time -- and the fallen Caesar changeling queen can be seen diving down from the clouds.  She is soaked wet, having used the storm to wash off the revealing paste.  Several batwinged zebra elite guards are in hot pursuit.
[2017-06-21 14:35:21] <Mare-Do-Well> 3One of the changelings hovering over the wreckage shouts, and they all look up, momentarily distracted buy their queen's appearance high above.
[2017-06-21 14:36:24] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The changeling queen spins in the air, letting out a roar that builds into something terrifying as she shapeshifts into the form of a dragon, taking on the appearance of Garble, the Dragon Lord, in his prime!
[2017-06-21 14:37:21] <Mare-Do-Well> 3There is another tremble under the streets.  Then a heavier rumble.
[2017-06-21 14:37:46] * Get_Lost "tell whomever is making all that noise to PUT A SOCK IN IT! i'm trying to save the world here!"
[2017-06-21 14:39:20] * Noble_Heart looks skywards with a scowl. "Well, she is at least making finding her easy." The rumble drew her attention back downwards. "We should depart. Quickly." Looking to the others and waving with a wing.
[2017-06-21 14:39:26] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Then a low, bass roar as part of the street a few blocks away collapsed downward into a black pit.  The scream of the wounded seraph becomes a rushing hiss...
[2017-06-21 14:39:41] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The creature's efforts to dig into the street has collapsed part of the street into the cistern below, sending the fiery creature into an underground lake.
[2017-06-21 14:41:49] * Golden_Dream pats Noble's legs. "Hey. Teleport me into th' tower. I won't be long. If we're gonna fight these things, we need th' guns of th' airships."
[2017-06-21 14:42:09] <TenMihara> Mitzi raises an eyebrow at the billowing steam. "Can watur pit dem out?"
[2017-06-21 14:42:28] * Golden_Dream perks up. "... Or th' guns of th' anti-air. Noble, scratch that, you're with me."
[2017-06-21 14:42:49] * Bookwright snaps a picture of the rising cloud of dust, rubble, and steam. "With luck, that's the last we've seen of that one..."
[2017-06-21 14:46:01] * Noble_Heart nods her head to Golden_Dream. "We could not safely teleport you within in any case. Without knowing where the walls, floor and furniture are, there is a risk of serious injury or incapacitation if We were to teleport blindly."
[2017-06-21 14:47:47] * Mare-Do-Well 3appears.  "Hey, can I help?"
[2017-06-21 14:49:41] * Golden_Dream looks down. And then looks up at the Dragon-Queen. And then gets a stupid, stupid idea. "... Sonica, can yer' thingamabob get all these Seraphs to hit that lake at the same time?"
[2017-06-21 14:51:22] <Golden_Dream> "'Cause if y' can, we can prolly kill this queen by teakettle."
[2017-06-21 14:51:41] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The patrol of changelings turn back towards the wreckage.  "OPPUGNARE!"
[2017-06-21 14:52:42] * Get_Lost "you mean completely reprogramming the thing to have the fireguys follow it while we toss the thing in the lake? WHY NOT!"
[2017-06-21 14:53:49] * Golden_Dream quickly asks "No, we get the seraphs into the lake, and we get the queen over th' opening, and th' pressure from th' heat exiting th' opening tears her apart!"
[2017-06-21 14:53:52] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica blinks.  "Well,  we could make this /attract/ rather than repel.  Make them all come to it.  Then... throw it in the lake?"  She exchanges a look with Get_Lost, then laughs.
[2017-06-21 14:54:25] <Golden_Dream> "Get /both/ these problems solved in one go."
[2017-06-21 14:54:26] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica starts pulling wires and rewiring.
[2017-06-21 14:54:57] * Get_Lost laughs maniacally with sonica "if i still owned the company, i'd offer you a place as chieaf researcher! LET'S DO IT!"
[2017-06-21 14:55:15] * Bookwright frowns. "Will there be enough water? I suppose we could get the enclave to rustle up some storm clouds maybe. They've got a lot of experience with doing that."
[2017-06-21 14:55:22] <Golden_Dream> "Noble, get Mitzi an' we gotta teleport over there before th' ships are all torn apart!"
[2017-06-21 14:55:50] <Golden_Dream> "Or, hell, Mare-Do-Well! Get in there so we can know th' layout!"
[2017-06-21 14:56:05] * Mitzi nods and leaves the tech and magic stuff to the ponies who were proficient at it. "Uh'm ready."
[2017-06-21 14:56:30] * Mare-Do-Well 3looks to Bookwright.  "Even if there isn't, having a single place to concentrate fire will make it a lot easier for our sky friends to take out the surviving seraphs.  We just need to shut down those anti-air guns fast.
[2017-06-21 14:57:05] * Bookwright "You have a suggestion? Besides shooting, blowing up, kicking, or otherwise dismantling them individually?"
[2017-06-21 15:00:58] * Golden_Dream clomps down the CRUX. "I got fast. We need intel to teleport in, otherwise Noble's just gonna kill us."
[2017-06-21 15:02:18] * Mare-Do-Well 3glances up at the changelings about to attack, realizes there is no time for anything more pleasant, and jumps into Noble_Heart
[2017-06-21 15:03:44] * Mare-Do-Well 3doesn't try to possess her.  Not take control, at least, just share what she saw of the control room.  She manages to impart a hazy memory before being ejected from Noble_Heart's body by her spirit.
[2017-06-21 15:03:54] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The changelings attack.
[2017-06-21 15:04:57] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Each becomes surrounded by a sheath of green energy as they divebomb at the group.
[2017-06-21 15:06:45] <Mare-Do-Well> 3One slams into the cobblestones, leaving a cracked impact crater.  One slams into the broken fountain, sending up a splash of water.  One bombards the wagon, sending it rolling over, Doctor Sonica and Get_Lost still inside.
[2017-06-21 15:11:33] * Get_Lost is a bit of stunned, but not dead yet. the cyberfetish kicks in as soon as the diagnostics find some injuries and the regeneration process starts
[2017-06-21 15:11:44] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The two remaining ram down directly into Noble_Heart and Golden_Dream!
[2017-06-21 15:12:23] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica groans, having taking that hit far worse than Get_Lost.  Part of the heavy array is now laying on top of her.
[2017-06-21 15:13:57] * Get_Lost runs to sonica, gasping "Sonica, please be ok!" tries moving the array away from her friend
[2017-06-21 15:21:42] * Shatara dives into the fray, openning up on any hostile he can get into his sights. "What are yall playing at! We gotta get back to the ship and take those guns!"
[2017-06-21 15:22:48] * Noble_Heart reels for a moment from the possession. Unfortunately long enough to subsequently be slammed into by flaming, angry changeling. She climbs to her hooves a moment later. "Goldy, Bookwright, we are leaving. Mitzi, Shatara, We trust that you will protect Get Lost while she finishes this project." It didn't sound like a question, or a request. Her horn glowed brightly as the
[2017-06-21 15:22:49] * Noble_Heart trio vanished in a purple flash.
[2017-06-21 15:26:08] * Bookwright captures one last picture of the incoming changinglings before he is yanked unceremoniously though time and space
[2017-06-21 15:27:25] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica groans.  Then says, "I should have made more of this out of clouds.  It is far too heavy."
[2017-06-21 15:28:03] * Get_Lost tries using her pickaxe or her shovel as a lever "i'm trying to raise this up, then i'll take you out of here. it wil be all right, don't worry!"
[2017-06-21 15:28:39] * Mitzi turns her cannon towards the changelings that landed away from her friends and fires. The bug ponies didn't want to take the hint of her pointing it at them, then she'd have to make good on the threat.
[2017-06-21 15:37:05] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Mitzi's shot knocks the changeling off its feet and back sliding through the water.

[2017-06-21 15:47:05] * Shatara banks hard over the fight, bringing his battle rifle to bear on the remaining bugpones, giving each a double tap
[2017-06-21 15:49:12] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The room is huge and circular, the walls adorned with giant screens that give a panoramic view of the skies over Roam and the battle taking place in the storm.  The view is only broken by the heavy, vault-like door to the outside hallway.
[2017-06-21 15:50:44] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Curving desks, their chairs empty, sit between banks of computers in a ring within the room.  A central chair, larger than the others and with a private terminal, sits empty.  Maneframes are visible behind glass walls.
[2017-06-21 15:51:02] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The trio appear, but not where they should be.  Fortunately, they appear inside the room itself, and have only two ceiling-mounted turrets to deal with rather than the Imperial Sentinels in the hallway.
[2017-06-21 15:51:36] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright is the most fortunate, having briefly appeared inside the center chair before being shunted aside.
[2017-06-21 15:53:39] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Golden_Dream appears next to one of the desks.  Golden_Dream's left foreleg occupies the same space as one leg of the accompanying chair.  The metal rod of the chair-leg seems melded into Golden_Dream's limb.
[2017-06-21 15:56:02] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Noble_Heart is temporarily blinded by the secondary flash shower of sparks as her horn briefly occupies the same space as one of the overhead lights, which promptly explodes.
[2017-06-21 15:56:46] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The turrets are able to react faster than the trio can recover.
[2017-06-21 16:00:55] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Both shotgun turrets swivel around, targeting Golden_Dream, and open fire.
[2017-06-21 16:08:02] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Mitzi wades into the changelings, claws rending.  Shatara's expert sharpshooting finishes off both of the changelings that the hellhound engages, as well as the one starting to get up from the cannon blast.
[2017-06-21 16:08:38] <Mare-Do-Well> 3His final shot cripples one of the three remaining.
[2017-06-21 16:10:19] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The three remaining changelings get up, shaking themselves off.  The one standing in the impact crater feels one of the cobblestones give away, dropping into the darkness of the cistern beneath.
[2017-06-21 16:10:51] <Mare-Do-Well> 3With a heave, Get_Lost lifts the array, allowing Doctor Sonica to drag herself out from under it.
[2017-06-21 16:11:33] * Get_Lost as soon as her friend is free, get gives her another healing potion and goes back working on the device

[2017-06-21 16:13:34] * Mitzi growls a warning at the remaining changelings. "Un chance tu make da right choice."
[2017-06-21 16:19:02] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Mitzi's growl, and the sight of their fallen, sends the changelings fleeing.
[2017-06-21 16:19:45] * Mitzi nods firmly and looks over to the wagon to see if some heavy lifting was needed after the spill
[2017-06-21 16:21:40] * Golden_Dream growls out in pain. Her leg! Oh, fuck! Her leg has a pole through it! Fuck, OW! She takes more pelting fire from the shotguns, luckily the armor is doing some serious work. Her mind howled at her to shoot back, so she fired off four shots from the revolver in her mouth.

Focusing her magic down her slightly electrified and moderately uncomfortable horn she fires a blast of arcane energy into the machinery. Infact, it was actually a lot of blasts of arcane energy. She was clearly unhappy about how things had been turning out thus far. "Goldy! Give us a moment to deal with these, We

[2017-06-21 16:22:24] * Mitzi nods and puts her considerable bulk towards a more constructive purpose than changeling discipline

[2017-06-21 16:26:47] * Bookwright had raised the jukebox gun and was ready to thunder off some blasts, but by the time he got it unsnagged from the holster the fight was over.

We need to find a way to change the choice of target for these weapons towards the Changeling Queen if possible. If not, deploy the CRUX and We shall get us out of here." She focused her magic to form a shield around herself. It might not work as well as possible, but it might help a little.
[2017-06-21 16:32:41] * Get_Lost follows mitzi and sonica outside. "alright, let's get this party started now, it's been delayed for too long"
[2017-06-21 16:33:55] <Mare-Do-Well> 3It takes a bit more effort, but Doctor Sonica finally declares, "There!  It's done!"  She tests it by flipping the on switch.
[2017-06-21 16:34:01] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Nothing happens.
[2017-06-21 16:34:22] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica frowns.  Then reaches down and picks up a wrench in her muzzle.
[2017-06-21 16:34:49] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica beats on it a few times.  The array makes a coughing sound, then hums to life.
[2017-06-21 16:35:15] * Golden_Dream shouts out, "NOBLE, I AM NOT A FUGGIN' SCIENTIST. MAKE MOVES." She primes the CRUX, lifting up this handle. The bomb flashes awake with intense blue lights, almost aching for Goldy to push down the handle. She went to move her left foreleg and pain wracked up all through her arm. She screamed, then moved her right leg, hovering over the handle. She held her breath.
[2017-06-21 16:38:54] * Bookwright holsters his pistol and starts tapping away at the terminal. "Okay lessee... deadly neurotoxin controls...
[2017-06-21 16:42:17] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica squees and dances.  "It's on!  It's working!"  She hugs Get_Lost.
[2017-06-21 16:42:43] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica forgets herself and hugs Mitzi too.  Then backs away with an 'oops' expression.
[2017-06-21 16:42:55] * Mitzi looks at the machine, then nods. "So... da Serphs eez comeen here den?"
[2017-06-21 16:43:28] * Get_Lost doesn't let that slide and hugs soica and mitzi together, forcing them to hug each other too "Mad scientists and monsters hug yay!"
[2017-06-21 16:44:07] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica nods.  Then blinks.  "Did we want to move this somewhere?"  She looks up and about.
[2017-06-21 16:44:47] * Get_Lost "as soon as the seraphs start arriving we toss it in the lake down there, they'll follow it and it will be fun to watch, i think"
[2017-06-21 16:44:54] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The burning balls of fire that are several seraphs can be seen moving over the city, converging.
[2017-06-21 16:45:19] * Get_Lost i'm not sure if we can really boil a dragon with it, but i'm not really trying the thing for the effect i just want to see a geyser
[2017-06-21 16:46:12] * Mitzi doesn't seem pleased about Sonica hugging her, but says nothing as she looks at the machine. "Lead me to dat water, Uh'll carry dis."
[2017-06-21 16:46:46] * Bookwright taps quickly and surely. "And... defenses... systemwide... lethal... gasses... shutdown." Tappity.
[2017-06-21 16:52:24] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Gas attack shut down and turrets destroyed, Bookwright now finds the system largely accessable.  Breaking into the anti-air gun control system requires a little more work...
[2017-06-21 16:52:30] * Get_Lost "it's just down that hole, mitzi. also, you should really appreciate when a mad scientist hugs you. after all, it was some damned crazed guy that led to you guys becoming what you are. us ponies playing god and you mutants are forever tied by a red thread, just live with it and laugh about it, okay?"
[2017-06-21 16:53:08] * Bookwright backs up a few directories and starts looking for the AA controls, to shut down the system. Or maybe retarget them.
[2017-06-21 16:55:04] * Noble_Heart moves up near Bookwright. "If you can, direct them towards the queen. She takes the form of the King of Dragons. We should think they would be well suited to fire upon such a bulk, no?"
[2017-06-21 16:55:12] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica points Mitzi down the street to where, a few blocks away, the street has collapsed into a gaping hole.  Mitzi recognizes the cistern below.  It is part of the same network as the one she traveled through with Shatara and the zebras.  Only this one is full of water, an underground lake that has trapped years of rainfall.
[2017-06-21 16:56:27] * Mitzi hauls the machine to the edge of the hole overlooking the lake, setting it up there on as stable a footing as she can find.
[2017-06-21 16:57:30] <Mare-Do-Well> 3More seraphs move into view, drawn by the array.
[2017-06-21 16:58:52] <Mare-Do-Well> 3With the anti-air guns momentarily silent, the pirates and the Raptor are free to shift their entire focus on the seraphs.  With a scream of tortured lightning, the underbarrel gun of the /New Cumulus/ annihilates one of the seraphs moving towards the array.
[2017-06-21 17:00:28] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The sound of the /Cutlass/'s cannons follow the fiery screech of another seraph... as well as the collapse of an old bank when a stray cannonball slams into one corner of the building.
[2017-06-21 17:00:34] * Mitzi looks to Sonica before making her next move. "Eef Uh shove dis in da water now, will eet still wurk? Or eez we gunna haff tu wait until last minute?"
[2017-06-21 17:01:30] * Get_Lost smiles proudly "obviously, WE WAIT!"
[2017-06-21 17:01:50] * Get_Lost "dont' you want to be here for the end of the show until the last second?"
[2017-06-21 17:03:06] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica looks unsure.  "Normally, I'd say it would work... but with the beating it took.  I think wait."
[2017-06-21 17:03:51] * Bookwright grins fiercely as a combination of intuitive direction, some lucky guesses, and a few clever tricks take him directly where he wants to be. Carefully, almost tripping up badly a time here and there but catching the errors just in time, he's reprogrammed the IFF systems to target only seraphs and exposed changlings. Except Precious. That particular bit was a neat trick all by itself.
[2017-06-21 17:03:51] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The anti-air turrets start up again.  But now, they have entirely new targets.  The air fills with much more friendly gunfire.
[2017-06-21 17:04:21] * Shatara takes a moment to admire the much less murderous light show.
[2017-06-21 17:05:27] * Bookwright sits back and winces as his guts squirm uncomfortably. He heaves a sigh of pained relief. "Okay. The poison gas has been disabled and I've changed the eye-eff-eff system to target seraphs and changelings, except Precious."
[2017-06-21 17:05:58] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Several more seraphs are taken out by the concentrated firepower arrayed against them.  But finally, two of the seraphs make it through the hail of weaponry, diving towards the array (and the hellhound standing next to it).
[2017-06-21 17:07:03] * Bookwright "It's not a perfect solution. They don't depress enough to shoot targets on the ground, but it takes away their advantages and puts it firmly in the hooves of friendly air-power.
[2017-06-21 17:07:04] * Noble_Heart nods her head. "Then we shall have to hold here until the battle is ended. Lest the Changelings attempt to reclaim control." She moves to look at the bank of video displays. "We have done what can be done. For the moment we must hope our allies can do what they must do."
[2017-06-21 17:07:27] * Mitzi drives her claws into the ground beneath the array, intending to have it slide down the side and into the lake slow enough that it would continue to draw the Seraphs, and give her a chance to give clear of the inevitable rush of steam
[2017-06-21 17:08:33] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The array slowly begins to shift, slipping then tilting over the edge... before falling into the abyss.  The two seraphs almost catch it before the splash.
[2017-06-21 17:08:48] * Golden_Dream hobbles over, pain shooting through her leg as she drags the chair still imbedded in her along for the ride, walking up to Bookwright. "Bookie! Does this place have a fuckin' Radio?
[2017-06-21 17:09:56] * Bookwright shrugs, finally gets a good look at Golden_Dream and sincerely wishes he hadn't. "Hell if I know. I was concentrating on the not-dyin' stuff. Um." He navigates menus, looking for the broadcasting program.
[2017-06-21 17:09:57] <Mare-Do-Well> 3The steam geyser rips apart another block worth of the street.  Nearly unseen in the steam, but heard for a mile, the edifice of buildings on each side shift downwards and crumble into the lake below.
[2017-06-21 17:10:43] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Bookwright is able to locate a short-range radio.
[2017-06-21 17:11:30] * Bookwright sets up the system and shoves the microphone over to Golden_Dream. "Who do you want to talk to?"
[2017-06-21 17:11:35] * Golden_Dream gets onto the one where Shatara would have his pipbuck on. "Shatara, read! Get th' queen over to th' geyser an' get everyone else outta there!"
[2017-06-21 17:11:45] * Noble_Heart looks in the direction of Goldy with some guilt and concern, before moving her vision back to the cameras watching the city. Doing her best to swallow whatever unhappiness she had over the state of her two friends.
[2017-06-21 17:12:32] * Get_Lost watches in awe at the steam explosion and yay as lou as she can "THIS IS WHAT I MEANT! EXPLOSIONS! STUFF COLLAPSING! MORE EXPLOSIONS! I LOVE MY JOB!"
[2017-06-21 17:13:39] * Bookwright glances again at Golden_Dream's leg and winces again. It didn't look any better the second time. Or the third. Ouch. He nudges Golden_Dream. "I'm... I'm awfully sorry Goldie, but I can't do anything to heal your leg. But I can make it not hurt for a while. Hold still." A quick burst of magic, and then Golden_Dream's impaled limb doesn't really hurt anymore.
[2017-06-21 17:14:11] * Mitzi makes her way into the ground, hopefully burrowing ahead of the collapse, though she could dig herself out of it after the fact as well.
[2017-06-21 17:14:53] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Shatara is watching as the guns shred into the draconic false form of the changeling queen.  Jugeote steps up next to him, giving a mighty WHOOP! as the dragon falls from the sky, chased by two remaining winged zebra guards.  The dragon reverts to the form of the changeling queen before the city skyline obscures her fall.
[2017-06-21 17:15:11] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Jugeote dances wildly, waving a hoof in the air and cheering.
[2017-06-21 17:15:15] * Shatara can't help but feel pangs of loss as bits of the ancient city succumb to the forces in play, but gets snapped out of the revere by the crackle of his radio. "I gotta do WHAT?" With a grumble, he quickly scans the sky for the evil bughorse. Well, at least she's not hard to find...
[2017-06-21 17:15:58] * Bookwright "Just because it doesn't hurt anymore and you can use it little doesn't mean it's better. If you try to shoot a shotgun braced on that leg I guarantee you'll hurt yourself further. Be careful."
[2017-06-21 17:16:47] * Golden_Dream feels the pain relief come over her. Good. Because she's running on the last few dregs of her adrenaline. "You gotta... Just get real high, and put a bullet in 'er with th' big gun y' got. Bet that'll get 'er attention."
[2017-06-21 17:17:55] <Mare-Do-Well> 3A voice booms over the city.
[2017-06-21 17:18:11] * Shatara beats his wings in the direction of the fallen queen. "I got a bead on 'er, she took fire that would probably put down an airship. Hopefully we wont even need to..."
[2017-06-21 17:18:15] * Bookwright talks into the microphone too. "The AA turrets /will/ shoot at the imposter of Roam when she gets high enough. Stay out of the crossfire if you can!"

She fumbles to get it onto the base on the leg of the chair she's impaled on, and with a pained expression, fires two rounds of buckshot to at least get rid of a lot of the weight she's stuck on. She felt it through the pain-reduced delirium. She winced, then said back into the microphone. "Shatara... It ain't over until we see a fuckin' corpse. Get over to where she fell and
[2017-06-21 17:22:26] * Golden_Dream make sure her head matches her legs."
[2017-06-21 17:22:30] * Get_Lost sighs in relief and asks both sonica and mitzi "so... do you think that there is a decent enough watering hole around these parts?"
[2017-06-21 17:25:04] <Mare-Do-Well> 3Doctor Sonica says, "... I hope so."
[2017-06-21 17:25:17] * Noble_Heart moved back over to sit near Golden Dream and Bookwright, spreading a wing around them. She looked up at the images on the screens. "We have done all we can. Now we have to hope that good intentions and the truth can change the course of disaster, rather than open the doors to it."
[2017-06-21 17:26:33] * Mare-Do-Well 3swoops into the control room.  "Is everypony..." she stops when she sees Golden_Dream.  "Yeowch.  I haven't been able to feel pain in over two centuries, and that hurts to look at."
[2017-06-21 17:26:40] * Bookwright floats the camera some distance away, hoping he's lined it up carefully. "Say 'insurrection', everybody."
[2017-06-21 17:27:13] * Golden_Dream pants. She wobbles on her hooves a little, and with this blank, pale expression falls over onto Noble's side. Months of hard bodily abuse took their toll, and between the poison in her system, the sudden lack of adrenaline, and the repeated scar tissue, she smiled and said, "I finally get t' stop yellin' at folks."
[2017-06-21 17:27:19] * Bookwright grabs Noble_Heart and Golden_Dream in a hug and smiles at the camera. "Insurrection!"
