 Simon Cape, a writer turned swordsman by the crumbling metal city he finds himself entombed in. The sins left its streets disturbed and empty. As if a choking virus had swept through the once bustling city leaving it a lifeless husk of its former self. After being bested by Velo, a member of the Hiten school, Simon was happy to accept the offer of being taken on as Kin's student.

Though spending months of tireless training towards the effort, he learned nothing of the Hiten arts. In a fit of absolute rage he'd nearly given up upon his training. However, he felt that some fruit had come of the dedication and time spent. Simon had better control over his own energies. Even when facing Velo again for a rematch he had grown far stronger and gave the actual Hiten user a run for his money. Simon wished to dedicate himself to furthering his spiritual control. Perhaps one day using the energy to encase his sword much like his ki does currently. A simple goal, however Simon would dedicate himself to its completion.
