- I just…I just don’t feel right without it anymore. Even though I’m used to being naked, I just…feel so exposed without it now. It’s so fluffy and warm, and it’s got those little danglies on the ends that are so fun to paw at, and it reminds me of you. Whenever I’m snuggled up in it, I get that same feeling that I got a week ago, when you first picked me up out of the box on the street and wrapped it around me. That feeling of being warm and safe, and loved, when I was so scared I might never have those things again. I love the feeling of having it wrapped around me.
- I can barely wait to have it wrapped around me again. How much longer do you think the washing machine will take, Master?
- Oh, it has a timer? Let me look…fifteen more minutes?! Master, that’s like forever!
- And it has to go in the drier afterwards?!

- No, you’ve got it backwards, Master. The scarf is a replacement for you! I’d take your arms anyday… They’re the only thing that feels better wrapped around me. And they’ve still got dangly fingers on the ends for me to paw at. 😊
