With Trunks it's to assert the fact that he's still very much a child in Vegeta's eyes, and really is only done when he's being sassed or when Trunks is about to do something very, very stupid. Honestly he wouldn't lash out to strike anyone. But it's understood as how it could be viewed as a something like domesticated abuse/violence.

Her reaction to the whole thing has made me want to not do a lot of things with Vegeta and makes me feel forced to play Vegeta differently than how I would like to. Otherwise she'll snap out again, and now has me limited from actually going to try and help Gine grow stronger to now just saying fuck it.

I would not have been as nice as most people, because of the way I keep hearing and seeing how miserable that one player is making others feel. I feel that way myself. When one player has the affect of so many not wanting to play with them, de-railing how characters would act to tip toe around ooc issues, and event-runners just wanting to give up.. it has a way of dampening things. I hate the rudeness, the f-you literally to another person in ooc, the brashness, and the fact that she's STILL continuing this after a talking to. I'm getting ready to invoke the butt rule, because I don't want to play with a butt.

[14:56] [user]Saiya-Jin Pride[/user]: What really doesn't help is the fact that Gine has revamped her character to focus more on being a mother character. While there's nothing wrong with that at all, she's done so and thrown out the idea of how Saiyan's primarily act in terms of violence and seems to think that everyone chastises her for playing the role of 'unique'. While Gine and Bardock may have had a vastly different relationship than others, that doesn't mean that she wouldn't be used to seeing violence when it came to parent v. offspring. Old school Saiyan were brutal as fuck.

However, manipulating people's posts and intents is pretty wrong, as well as the ooc call-outs, bursts and nasty, causing and wanting others to curb their actions FOR HER enjoyment. Likewise, people have the right to play their chars as they see fit, and interact or not.
